my posts aren't working!! argh! why??
gee, I just lost three posts coz BB wouldn't accept them... wtf? anyway, I'm too hot and bothered to write it all again. I hope you're all ok with that! we're doing alright here, nothing unusual apart from an hour of screaming on sat nite after too much excitement. sweltering now, it's going to be a long night, and 37 tomorrow. bleurk. Sorry, I put it all so eloquently before and now my brain's gone to mush. Thinking of you all!

    Hi All,

Nikki - How did Abbie today without your DH? Hope that her clingyness is over for you's. Its great Abbie likes the shower. Cam did like the shower at the beginning, but went about 6weeks only having baths and doesn't seem to like them anymore, usually ending in a quivering lip and tears. I've been a little scared holding a slippery little boy in the shower when i'm home alone, so i like your idea of the baby seat in there, might give that ago to get him use to it again. He does love his baby seat in the bath, so it might work.

Jess - Good on you for having so reconnecting time with DP. I too have been limiting my time on here on the weekends now so we can spend time together. Yay on winning those tickets too, i'm not usually lucky either, so i could imagine how exciting that would've been. Glad Tiahna's feeling better, and hope her mouth is clearing up.

Sassy - Glad your feeling better, and happy with the new days your working. What sort of dog you thinking of getting? We have an 8yr old ****er spaniel who gets along well with Cameron. I've always had a dog, couldn't imagine life without one. She is very gentle and protective of Cameron. If you got a puppy now, Jayda and the dog would grow up together, I reakon they'd end up very close. Sorry to hear about your brother - is there any chance they could work it out do you think. It's so hard when children are involved hey.

NaNa - You don't need to be forgiven for anything. I've had the same problem lately, and end up just giving up posting altogether, at least you posted something (more patience then me). Yuk on the weather. Where are you again? We are quite the opposite here, its been rather cool. Especially nights are getting cold, I'm thinking I might have to put Cameron in a longer pj set as his legs are very cool in the mornings now (he won't stay under sheets or blankets so have to work with the clothes).

Us - Cameron's had a few grumble moments over the last few days and woken full on crying at 3am for the last 3 nights. I think his 3rd tooth is on its way, as he is dribbling and chewing like crazy, particularly on the left side. I think it will be another bottom tooth, as I can see a little white and it seems hard, just to be different then going onto the top like most do.

We changed his car seat around on the weekend too. He seems to be sitting there dazed though and scared to move, but interested to see out the front window (he's in the centre of the back seat). Have you's all changed your seats around? I wanted to wait another few weeks, as I would think Cameron would be just over 8kgs (will do a 'weigh in' on Wednesday), but DH did it 'just to see', and it never got changed back.

My friend got her results back today from her foot and there is no more cancer, they got it all and no other treatment is required. So she is very relieved, as we all are...woohoo!!!

Well, better go have a shower and get ready for bed.

    Bye for now

    Well here goes....

Bec- YAY on the news from your friends... Must be a HUGE relief.... On the car seat issue... ours has been done for a while.... DD used to get sick but as soon as i changed it around she is no longer chucky in the car...Dog yeap we've always had a dog.... Our dog is still in 1 piece... Not long now.... Hoping it'll be today oor tomorrow.... DS is very attached to the dogs and they love spendng time with him too... Tiahna only has max 150 mls still in her bottle at a time.... she has 1 during the night (being sick i dont ind at the moment.) then 1 when she wakes up then a solid feed at 9.30-10 then another bottle and a sleep then when she wakes up at about 11.30 she has a solid feed play for an hour or 2 then bottle 1/2 hour play then bed at about 2-3 then sleep til about 4-5 then play , dinner then bath then bottle and bed by 7.30

    Hi everyone
Well we arrived back last night and we are bothe exhausted, was such a long three days, most of it spent travelling, 3 hrs in car then flight then another 1hr in car, then repeated 2 days later to get home so we are pretty much over travelling atm. The flight up was not good, poor Hamish didnt sleep much the night before we left his top teeth cut through (2 at once) and then he was awake entire car trip so when we arrived at airport he was over tired so it was difficult to get him to sleep, but i finally got him to sleep about 2min before we landed.grr Anyhow it was a long exhausting and emotionally draining few days but i am extremely glad i made the effort and went. It was great to see alot of my family as most of them had not seen Hamish yet but would of been nicer if it was on better circumstances. Hamish was very well behaved at the funeral, i was suprised and very pleased as i was very emotional and thought he may being unsettled etc but overall he was very good. When we arrived last night he was so excited to be home and very very happy when he seen his daddy and sister, he didnt take his eyes off them was going from one to the other it was very cute.
I dont have time for personals now as my house looks like a bomb has hit and while Hamish is asleep i will try and get it in some kind of order. It is getting so much harder to get things done now he is mobile. I will try get back later..

    Hi All,

Jess - Yeah, I'd never leave our dog with Cameron either, though I'm pretty sure she would never bite him, but she does get a little over-excited so I'm more concerned that she'll accidently scratch or even smother (she likes kisses and cuddles). I've also been bitten my own dog on the mouth when I was about 12yrs old, so I know how dogs can turn when they get older too.

Sassy - Ahh a staffy...my DH wants one of those. I'm more into the soft cuddly dogs though, but I can see my DH pushing for a staffy next dog. Just think though if you get a dog it will need to be walked...so will help with the weight loss journey. DH and I go for a nice long walk every Saturday and Sunday with Cam and our dog (I can't walk our dog around during the week on my own though as there is too many dogs around here loose- i hate that...irresponsible owners...GRRR!)

MisTree - Sorry I meant to mention a few posts back...Welcome back. I'd only just asked how your were going. Yay on the SAHM decision. I bet you'll love it so much you'll never go back (well never want to anyway). Yeah, it's seems like its time to lower the cot and always have the rail up. Cam's also started standing in his cot over the last couple of weeks, though I learnt to put the rail up almost from the beginning (as it takes me a while to get into new habits).

Nikki - It sounds like Abbie will be crawling any day now hey...but I wouldn't be surprised if she is the 1st walker of the bunch, being the late crawler. I think i'd prefer Cameron to walk then crawl, our floors are a little old and rough on his knees.

Well nothing else here to report really. Just waiting for Cameron to wake so I can go weigh him. He is really enjoying his food, we do 3 meals a day, so wouldn't be surprised if he has put on a bit of weight since last time (1month ago he was 7.7kg).

Better go finish getting myself ready then as it's almost time to go before they close - they only do weigh ins on wednesdays from 8.30 to 10.30, I wish they had longer weigh in times at our clinic. Is everyone else's the same???

It's taken me about 30mins to type this as had a few interruptions in between.

    Hope everyone else is well.
    Bye for now,
