Nana so is your problem that you feed him to sleep?? This is really bad but with Cody my first baby he had Colic and the only way to settle him for the first four months of his life was to feed him to sleep so i did it and then after that thats the only way he would go to sleep. I though that i would have a BIG problem getting him off the breast but once i was ready and i had had enough then it was really easy. My opinion is that you do what ever you need to do if it gets you through. If that means sleeping with you or next to your bed feeding to sleep rocking or nursing to sleep WHO really cares, If it does not worry you or your partner then don't worry about it. Cody was exactly the same and he now is a 5 year old who sleeps in his own bed all night. I really hope that it all sorts out for you and if you have any questions or anything please ask i don't mind. I just think that it works for some kids and not others. Some kids are great sleeping in the cot by them selves and others just need mum! Cody slept with us till about 2, Lachlan NEVER slept with us always slept in his own bed, he would not sleep well with us tossed and turned etc., And Abbie slept with us for about 2 months until she got too restless and then went to the cot and sleeps great. So all kids are different and he just need to be close to you;-)
Hey i just realised that they changed abbie to a crawling baby on my avator YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take care
Nikki♥
