Snacks: Yes I have tasted it before. And usually I don't like it. It tasted kind of sweet that time. Must have been something I ate. They do say it smells and tastes different every single time lol. My older daughter tasted it when Laura was a baby and said it tasted like Mushrooms lol. Not great!

Naomi: So Bailey is picking things up? Yay! That will be more fun for you if he can play with rattles hehe

Bridg: Dusting! Cool! It's good to encourage them to do chores earlier when they like doing it. Laura LOVES helping me sort the washing out and putting it on various beds. IT's cute.

Kids are going to hog the computer soon, so this is short. :( Cara is 12 weeks today! Yay!! I take photos every week. Man..I thought I would be better witha digital camera...I'm worse hehe

Naomi, how cool that Bailey is picking things up!! yay. It is so cool watching them develop. I just want to cheer everytime that Jemima does something new too. Jemima will hold something in her hand if I put it there but will just as easily drop it cos it is just a reflexive grasp.

Cathy- Congrats on Cara turning 12 weeks. Jemima turns 10weeks tomorrow. it feels like it is going so fast. I try every day to remember that she won't be this little forever and really appreciate it all

Amy- Jemima sounds like phoebe today, just won't be put down. I get her to sleep in arms and then put her down and she is awake again and not happy cos she really does want her sleep.

Bridg- Its fun to go shopping isn't it! Tho bit of a bugger that there isn't much stuff for boys. I went shopping for Mima the other day to get her some OO's even tho she is still in some of her 0000's and mostly 000. I figured I would get some clothes that were on special. Got heaps of Marquise all in ones really cheap from trade secret. they are having a babies sale.

Anyway I have more to say but DH is stomping his feet cos we r supposed to be going to my sisters for a BBQ( my idea) so have to get out the door. chat later.

BG - I am with you, I dont DO mornings either, and luckily Bailey goes back to sleep after his early morning feed so we 'get up' officially anytime between 730-9 (which is quite respectable I think), the other morning he woke at about 924 - awesome!! Bugger re DH off again - that sucks when you were expecting him to be home for longer, sorry mate

Cathy - So good to have you back a bit more regularly (hehehe), yeah re breastmilk I have tasted mine a few times too, it was slightly sweet but pretty tasteless, although I thought it had a slight fruity taste, like a melon last time I tried it - I didn't reaslise the taste could change so much, but it makes sense dependant on my diet. Cant beleive Cara is fitting into some 0s - WOW.. Bailey is still in 000s and he fits one 00 top (which is quite small, I find Kmart clothes quite small, although BIG W, Cotton on Kids and Target are consistant with their sizing and I LOVE Best and Less clothes, they are generous with sizing and have nice stretchy necks so Bailey doesn't fuss when I dress him). Bridg I know you dont have a Best and Less in Shep, but next time you are in Melb or where-ever they have one, drop in as I find they have great boys clothes. I went and put some 00 summer clothes on layby for when we go to QLD (early Nov) so hope I have estimated Baileys growth properly. They are from Target so I should be able to swap them if I have it wrong

Jacinta - so glad to hear the bicarb worked for you - its a cheap and effective isn't it! Bailey has a tiny bit again on the top of his head so I might do it again myself

Bridg - LOL@ the twins dusting - Send them over!! I hate dusting. I dont actually dust every time I clean, just every second or so clean LOL. I have a pretty open plan house so lucky for me it doesn't really get too dusty in here, and we only have carpet in our bedrooms and tiles everywhere else, in our old house when I had carpet throughout I found it was ALWAYS dusty!! Then I ripped up most of the carpets and got the floorboards polished and it was heaps better - I blame carpet for dust, I swear it attracts it (You'll find this info and more in "Naomi's Book of Household Tips" LMAO :ROFL:)

Amy - I went and read the poem in Heavens signature and you are right, it is very sweet and very true!!! I posted it on my FB cos I love it so much, its a good reminder to make the most of our babies while they are still so little!

Bella - hope you enjoy your BBQ this arvo, hope its nice warm weather up there for you!

Well we enjoyed our Wedding last night/yesterday, I DID miss Bailey as expected and really didn't get any more sleep as my boobs woke me up anyway so had to express LOL (Good thing is I have a nice supply of BM again). Nan absolutely enjoyed having Bailey to stay and he was such a good boy for her and Sean and I enjoyed our 'couple' morning this morning so I think it did us all good :) It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO exciting to go and pick him up though and he was excited to see us and was all smiles which just melted my heart. I swear he has grown and changed in just one day LOL

Right, off to continue working on my photo book, I'm up to Week 13 - another 4 weeks to add, then I plan to do it week by week so I dont have to 'catch' up all the time hehehehe

I've now completed 17 weeks of my photo book - Wow I am so impressed with myself (LOL@ my self love!!). To get these 17 weeks I have read through all our Belly Buddy and Baby Buddy posts since Bailey was born and have relived some of our funnier moments, and also our supportive posts to each other and yet AGAIN I am thankful for our group - You guys rock!! :)

Hi girls! Phew, busy couple of days here. DH was off photographing birds all weekend and we had a bunch of his bird nerd buddies stay overnight on Saturday night cause they went out into the ocean for sea birds at stupid o'clock on Sunday morning. I have pretty much been a single parent for the last few days. But have been sponging off relatives, LOL! Had lunch and a play at SIL's place on Sat and then my folks on Sun. Phoebe and I cleaned the loungeroom and roamed the shops yesterday (would've gone walking but it was raining here) and Natty went back to Kindy.
Cathy: When you say you thought you'd be better with the dig camera, do you mean you thought you'd take more photos? I am appalled at how few photos DH has taken of Phoebe :( I have been trying to get some myself but I suck compared to him.
Bella: Hope you had fun at your BBQ, and hope little J gave you a bit of a break on Sunday after being a little barnacle on Saturday.
Naomi: I'm so glad you had fun at the wedding! You legend getting so much of Bailey's album done :) Want to come and sort out both my girls' photo books?!?

Phoebe has been quite blocked up and snotty but she is happy enough. For the past week she has been sleeping so well - I am thrilled. She goes down anywhere between 7 and 9:30 and sleeps til around 3-4! After that she only does little sleeps (an hour at a time) and needs resettling, but at least we are getting a solid block. It has made such a difference.
Natty is either cracking me up or bringing me to tears lately. She remembers stuff I say and throws it back at me. E.g. the other morning I was telling her we had to leave and she says, "Just one more minute and I'll be right with you". Or when we're counting she says, "Fifteen. Can you say that?"
Some other funny Natty quotes from the last few weeks:
"Mummy, those are the pinkest jarmies I've EVER seen!"
(After I asked her what she'd like for breakfast) "Fruit. And Bunny Rabbits.

Snacks: No, I took a million photos of Yasmin and Ronan as babies (morso of Yassie as she's a girl and probably be a sentimental fool like me hehe). I think Yas has 4 of those HUGe 250 page albums in her first year!! And that was with a normal film camera. Ronan has about 2 of the 250 page albums of him as a baby (still 500 pics is pretty big still hehe).
And now I have had a digital camera with Laura and Cara...well I take a lot, and delete some, but keep MANY!! hahaha I take just as many photos!! It's kinda of a hobby for me I guess. I did a bit of modelling a few years ago (just a photographic model for various photographers from the net), but I learnt a little bit about photography.

My Mum was a single Mum for the first few years of my life too, and I was the 2nd child. I have no photos of me on any birthday until I am 16!!! She just wasn't a photo taker. (I even had a 13th birthday in there, and no photos of it lol...weird). The first photo I have of myself is a very unclear looking one in my Mums arms when I am 8 weeks old!! Then a lot at 16 weeks, and pretty much a toddler and preschooler after that. No, I'm not adopted. I look too much like my Dad hahaha. I think because of this, I take a lot of photos now.

Amy - LOL@ 'stupid' o'clock!! I feel like I am forever up at stupid o'clock lately. I assume by 'birds' you mean natures kind, not that DH is a photographer of the female form - LOL. Natty's sayings are hilarious, Love the bunny rabbit breakfast request - quite the meat eater you are raising there!!

Cathy - Our family is the same, oodles of photos of my older brother, a few of me, almost none of my little brother LOL. If I have another baby I will have to ensure I take as many photo's as I have of Bailey, I think my digital camera has over 600 photo's of him currently, I think I am over the top. :) Neither DH or I were big photo takers before Bailey (DH still isn't, hence there being great photos of Bailey and Dad, but bugger all nice onces of Bailey and Mum - professional photos aside)

Well Bailey seems to have finished his Week 17 wonder week, I was hoping he would drop another feed (as he dropped one after week 12) but he seems to have picked up his previously dropped feed - arrrrrrrggggghhhh!!

Better go have a shower, my boss is taking me and Bailz out to lunch today

Naomi - I am pretty sure it was next weekend a year ago CJ was conceived, celebrating our first year in Melbourne! Is weird in a way that seems so long ago almost a different life, but on the other hand the year seems to have flown by.

Alot of you have seen on facebook but hooray because CJ is now allowed baths again, her left hip has gone from severe to mild/moderate which is really excellent and her right is now fine. I am very happy with the way it is going and so were the docs and she loved her first bath in 5 weeks yesterday - she did cry when first got in of shock I think because she had forgotten but then loved it. They can't say yet when can take it off but I think when we get back from UK will prob be allowed to just have on overnight.

Had MCHN appointment today, they were impressed with her head control on her tummy which was good, but I have come home annoyed as usual because of various comments about her weight. Without brace she is 6kg - which is a gain of 600g in four weeks, that sounds fine to me and the nurse even said that aim for 20g a day, well if you say 28 x 20 that is 560g so that again is fine. However she seemed to think she should be gaining more, but surely not all babies who are born big stay big (she is 75 percentile now). As soon as she heard CJ was sleeping through 8 till 7 she said that is why and I should be waking her or giving her a dream feed - I am not convinced however, surely she would wake if hungry and she has woken up about 6 once or twice in the past three weeks for a feed. Nurse also said was worried about my milk supply, but surely if the lack of night feeds was going to have an affect would have done by now as is coming up for 4 weeks she has been sleeping through. I sometimes express at about 10:00pm before going to bed but am not always. I think part of the issue is I don't really keep track of feeds and the MCHN are always asking how often I feed her, I just feed her when she wants it which varies according to time of day and how long her naps are, but is never more than four hours apart and often as close as an hour and a half in the evening. Her last feed is also a big feed because she has about 60 to 90ml ebm from a bottle and then tops up for 20mins on boob. Also if we are out and about e.g at the footy her last feed is much later 10:30 or so. What do you think I don't understand why all the low weight gain comments when 600g in 4 weeks seems pretty reasonable to me? I am going to post in the breastfeeding thread and if people in there say should wake I will. I have more faith in here as at least on here people realise all babies are different.

(Sometimes I do wonder about MCHN though, today was a different one, and the normal batty one had written down Cerys is 12 months and today's didn't realise she wasn't 12 months until she asked about repeat hearing test and I said well isn't due till 12 months.)

Kat - I read your birth story, never apologise for writing too much, was a great read and alot of what you said echoed with me.

Cathy, Snacks, Naomi - I have tasted my breastmilk a couple of times, I can't bear the thought of throwing it away all the effort I put into expressing it so if CJ doesn't finish a bottle which is quite rare I just drink it! It just tastes a bit like sweet milk to me (I hate sweet milk mind you, I have water on cereal because I can't stand how the sugar in cereal makes the milk taste, and won't have milkshakes at all - I just love milk but not if is sweetened at all) next time will have a bit more of a think if there is any other flavour in it.

Nicky- When you went to see an osteopath about Allira's head, how do you go about finding a suitable one. CJ doesn't have a flat spot (in fact MCHN said what a nice round head she has) but her right side is a bit forward (I prob would never have noticed apart from brace docs pointing out) so if you look down at the top of her head her forehead is not completely straight across. She doesn't appear to have a preferred side and moves her head loads when she sleeps but I am thinking might want to get it looked at just in case.

Vic - sounds like the MCHN is being a bit too text book - Baileys weight gain has 'slowed' a little -between 23/7 and 18/8 (3 weeks) he only put on 240gms but then in another week he put on 190gm in a week (once he even put 360gm on in a week!!!), so it depends on scales, whether they've poo'd, fed etc. As long as CJ is gradually filling out her clothes, car seat and having regular poo's and wee's I'd say she's fine and it sounds like your milk supply is PERFECT. If you are able to express milk then thats proof alone your supply is good!! As for the advice of waking CJ for a feed - sorry but that sounds like BULL**** - my mantra is never wake a sleeping baby, if CJ was hungry she would wake herself. It sounds to me that you are doing a fabulous job, your milk is great and your beautiful daughter is growing healthily!

I want to go and smack your MCHN around the head for making you worry and doubt yourself! The fact that she couldn't tell that CJ wasn't 12 months tells me she knows little about babies - the is a VERY BIG difference between a 3 month old and a 12 month old, she should be able to tell just by looking at her

Hi everyone!!

Vic - I actually called my MCHN and asked them who they would recommend. It would have been just as easy to call up a few osteos and see if they had a peadiatric osteo on staff.
The osteo I see is fantastic, and Allira has improved heaps.
Your MCHN is taking the weight thing a little too seriously. lachie was a 9lb baby. He gained well for 8 weeks, and then dropped off. He went from 90th percentile down to 25th by about 4 months of age... BUT he was always gaining weight. My MCHN was fantastic and wasn't worried about him at all. He wasn't even sleeping longer than 2 hours at a time.
Allira sleeps 10 hours a night and there is no way I would be waking her up. It sounds like you and CJ are doing a fantastic job!!
If she's gaining weight, is pretty content while awake, having plenty of wet and dirty nappies, then I don't see a problem.

Yay for being able to have baths again! That's excellent news that CJ is responding to the treatment so well.


Naomi -It would also be about a year since Allira was conceived aswell! How weird! haha.
How nice of your boss to take you and Bailey out! I am heading out for lunch this weekend with the whole family which should be interesting...
Glad to hear you had a good night away. I can't wait until DH and I go away in October..... I'm hanging out for it. I'm sure my folks are pretty excited to have the kids too.

I was really excited about the bicarb thing - applied two coats over two days and she's only got a few stray flakes now! Yay!
LOL @ the thought of what we were all getting up to last year. I think Phoebe was conceived at a weekend away (the first weekend in Sept) at a lighthouse down south... staying with our parents! PMSL!!! I had thought we'd missed the O boat but DH was keen, even with his dad in the next room, LOL. I had to do the walk of shame to the bathroom afterwards (dressed of course, but still) and walk past the living room where my dad was sitting doing his sudoku. Ah. Romance. ;)
Vic: I am with Naomi: I want to smack out your MCHN for putting doubts in your head. Listen to yourself, hunny - you are totally right about your feeling that she's put on plenty of weight. And there's nothing wrong with your supply either - that is just cruel and unnecessary to put that seed of doubt in the mind of a BF mum. CJ is thriving, she's gaining weight, she's doing everything she should be. Good on you.
And woohoo @ the bath! So glad CJ's hips are improving. :)
Nicky: Hope osteo goes well tomorrow. I am keen to find one near me too. Have you been to a physio or chiro before? If so, how does the osteo compare? I want one to have a look at me (my hip is buggered) and also a look at Phoebe (she does something funny with her arm - her left arm sits further back when I pick her up... hard to explain).

I've got to get to bed, I think. Phoebe went down almost an hour ago and I've had my dinner... Its early but if she does go for a good stretch I don't want to miss too much of it, LOL! When did my life get so EXCITING?!?!?

Naomi- Loved your pic of Bailey:) I think we concieved about the 4th of sept which is 5 days after we got married:) It was whilst we were on Honeymoon in Malaysia and staying at a hotel called the Datai. DH kept saying he wanted to call the baby Datai to remember, mind you he was only kidding, lol. Funny everyone remembering what they were doing.

Vic- I agree with everything said. I think most health professionals would tell you that you don't have to follow the curve on the graph as long as you don't flatten out and it's always going upwards then you are fine. Some people just can't stand the idea of babies sleeping thru the night! I swear I have met more than i ever thought i would. they r the ones who take evil delight in telling you your life is gonna be a misery when you become a parent and seems somewhat disappointed when it isn't like that for you. Your doing fine with CJ. and you have both had extra hurdles to cross since you began the adventure. Don't let the nasties spoil it for you.

Jacinta- Happy b'day for yesterday! I hope the good wishes from everyone cheered you up and you have had a better day than you thught you would.

AFM- Well I think Jemima is started a wonder week or she is just trying to catch up for having had a few off weeks with her cold. She is feeding all the time and not sleeping as long. Mind you she is still getting 7-10 hrs every night it just isn't the consistant 10hrs like she was. I don't have great hopes for today as she has already drunk me dry. you know the way you sometimes feel flat chested by the end of the day? Well it isn't 11am and I already feel like a pancake. I am trying to drink lots today cos I have let it slip recently and make sure i eat well... ahh the joys. Hope it is ok today. Apart from that we r well. She is doing really well with her tummy time. she keeps her whole chest up off the ground for about 10-15 secs at a time now and will do it over and over with a silly grin on her face if you get down to her level. She tires out pretty quickly tho.

Anyway I must go and try to feed again

Ooer, Sorry Jacinta, forgot to wish you a happy birthday yesterday! Happy birthday! I hope it was a good day.
Bella: DH photographed a wedding at the Datai :) It was just after I found out I was preggers with Natty. He rarely travels out of Sydney for weddings, although increasingly more people are getting married in the Hunter Valley (up north west from Syd) but that year he had a wedding in Fiji and I joined him - we left on my birthday and I found out I was pregnant on that trip (it was a DAMN good holiday, LOL!) and the following Thursday he had to fly out to Langkawi for anther wedding. Was crazy. But he said it's a beautiful hotel (dunno about it as a name though ;) ). Cool that J is doing well on her tummy! Phoebe is hopeless, LOL. She sometimes tries to roll onto her tum but never makes it over. I'm hoping that if she learns to roll over onto her tummy that she might enjoy staying there.

DOH - my frigin pram broke - so annoyed, I somehow managed to squeeze it in the car (it wouldn't collapse and we were at the shops), hoping DH can have a look at it when he gets home and fix the problem, otherwise I will have to send it away to be fixed and be pramless

No Go, I have to take it the the 'Pram Doctor" tomorrow on behalf of Britax, if I take it back through Target I'll be pramless for 2-3 weeks - Britax told me they'll assess it and fix it if possible or replace it (the warranty has a disclaimer about 'normal wear and tear' so worried they'll pull that on me, I would have though that the pram would last longer than 4 months)

The Pram Doctor is the other side of Adelaide, so about a 70min drive each way - SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O annoyed right now

Jacinta - so sorry i didn't get to do this on your bday - but happy belated bday hun!

Naomi - hope the pram is fixed quickly for you - we dont use our pram out and about all that often (probably cos we dont' go out often and too damn crummy here for walks outside!) but i'd be lost without it still! ooh, and if 500 posts means you talk too much, i have a serious issue lol

been reading heaps but not posting - back to that introverted grumpy wench thing - DH had about 15 hours with us last Friday - apart from that, he's been gone since last Tuesday and not sure when he will be home - we're hoping tomorrow, but he's only coming as far as the border with the load he has on now, so could end up anywhere. really struggling, and i guess i tend to withdraw a little in this thread for some reason. i still post in general chit chat, but not here - go figure!

anyhoot - for us - E seems to have come through her wonder week ok - after a couple of REALLY bad days, she just snapped out of it on Sunday - was like a new child! she still hates tummy time (though i've taken Kat's hint and turned the mat towards the TV so she is a little better with it. lol) she is so much more chatty now - well, maybe not MORE, just more vocal with her chatting - talking to DH on the phone all the time.

got her ears pierced yesterday. have been wanting to do it while she's young cos my niece was older when she got hers and was constantly asking for them to be changed too early, ended up with infections and things. E was a trooper - watched the ladies really intently while they dotted her ears and things (sitting on Granma's knee) then mummy held her head from behind while they did it. she got scared and cried, but it wasn't a pain cry, it was a WTF?? cry lol. she calmed down with some boob. poor poppet had sucked in heaps of air though from the fright, so a couple of hours later, we had another screaming session while she tried to get rid of it all from the other end. my poor niece (almost 5) was worried about what was wrong with the baby, so i had to explain to her about her pain - then E let rip hugely, and calmed down straight away so her cousin understood what i was getting at. we've had a couple of tears first couple of times i put the spray on her ears, but last time last night and again this morning, nothing. she lets me turn them, still slept the same as normal, doesn't appear to be hurting at all... and she looks so sweet! not that she didn't before, but ykwim! lol

well just back to write a bit more, was rushing out the door b4 but I just had to share I was/am so excited!! Got them on sale. Not cheap but not super expensive at $160 each way.... oh well, sometimes in life money isn't the be all and end all. So excited to come and meet you all.

So Jemima had her needles today:( Poor her, poor mummy and daddy! We showed her how to do it cos they r offering free whooping cough vaccinations to parents of newborns on QLD due to the 14, 000 odd cases in australia this year.. (are they doing that in other states?) So we had a shot then I put Jemima to the breast and they gave her hers...:( She cried for about 30 secs with the first and as soon as she started drinking again they gave her the second. She cried again a bit more for that one and took a little longer to calm but pretty quickly she settled from that to. So all done, at least for another 2 months.

BG- glad to hear that E is going well with the earings. We r gonna be that old fashioned type of parents who don't let out little girls have their ears pierced for a good long while.... maybe till she's 30ish.. hehehehe. Still it is good to hear she is being a gem and behaving for her mummy.

Kat- gonna go look for your birth story and have a read. Looking forward to it.

Naomi- Can't wait to meet you either! Can't wait to meet everyone actually:) it will be great!

Bella - my bro is one of those "old fashioned" parents that didn't want his DD's to have earrings til they could decide. i totally respect that. he cracked me up last week though - his eldest got hers done for her 8th birthday last year and gave them soooo much grief - so he told me to get E's done NOW (i'd been making enquiries that day - he just didn't know lol - hows that for timing??). his younger DD is 5 on fathers day - and she wants hers done so he's letting her get them - provided she doesn't chicken out. when we said E was getting hers, she was all for it til five minutes later, when she piked - then she seen E's just after they were done, seen that E was all smiles and stuff - and now wants them done again - we'll see how she goes next week lol

i will say, if you're thinking of getting them done, get them done early. i know my niece was hassling her parents at the 6 week mark to change them cos the time she had to wait was up. her mum caved and changed them, and then R whinged cos it hurt! at least E won't be hassling me to change them for a while lol

Bella: Woooohoooooo!!! Yay, that's fantastic! I can't wait til November, LOL. Poor J with the needles. I'm glad she did ok. Yeah, I got my whooping cough vacc for free when Phoebe was a week old. They also gave a free one to DH and the grandparents before she was born. Is a good idea, I reckon.

Naomi: Bugger, bugger, bugger @ the pram. I am sure they'll be reasonable about it. 4 months is pathetic. Is Bailey happy to travel in the car for longish drives?

Well, the last two nights Phoebe hasn't been sleeping as well, but that's ok. Still only two wake-ups between 9:30 and 7, which is doable. I am feeling pretty unappreciated by DH though. We had FIL over for dinner last night and DH was telling me yesterday how he feels bad that we haven't had him over on a weekly basis like we used to of late... I was like, HELLO!!! We have a 3mo baby in case you hadn't noticed. I get so pi$$ed - DH doesn't get how difficult evenings are around here. Both girls need bathing and changing, Natty needs dinner, Phoebe needs boob often and Natty's behaviour is adversely affected by her being tired. FIL doesn't like to eat late (I get the impression he doesn't cope well with eating after 7pm - it's our norm as DH doesn't usually get home til 7 or after). I really like FIL, but he's kind of clueless about this stuff too (i.e. if it were my parents they would either bring dinner with them or cook while I do stuff with the girls, or offer to bathe the girls or something), but FIL just chats away while I run about the place. *Sigh* Sorry for the vent, but it really got up my nose that DH feels guilty for us being otherwise occupied most Thursday nights.

Phoebe has really started noticing her hands. It is very cute. There are times when she just stares at them in wonder. She adores Natty too. As soon as Natty gets close to her and talks Phoebe smiles and chats away. I hope they grow up to be mates. I think the bond they share is already so special.

Okeys, gotta get the big girl breakfast (damn, fresh out of bunny rabbits this morning!) and put the little girl back to bed cause she's getting a bit cranky.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up. very busy here trying to save Allira from her brother. He smothers her with so much love... and then at times gets so excited that he decides to lie on top of her for a cuddle and nearly cut off her air supply. Cute, but he worries me. Hopefully soon he'll realise that she's only little.... I actually think she'll grow up before he realises she's much smaller than him. Poor little girl. She loves him so much though and I think she'd be lost without him.

I don't know if I already mentioned, that I won't be able to make the meet in September but I will for the November one. Will have hubby and both kids with us.

Amy - Hubby's hey! One of these days you'll be able to get out of the house and leave hubby with the kdis. Then he'll get a new found respect for what you do because he will have found it so hard. Well, I'm hoping that's what happens here at least. Won't happen until we've finished Breastfeeding though.
The bond between siblings begins so early doesn't it!?! It's just beautiful. I love seeing how much the kids adore each other already. I am going to try and remember these times, because in a matter of mnoths, it will be on for young and old no doubt. LOL

BG - I'm sure E looks just gorgeous with her ears peirced. I haven't even thought about it for Allira.

Bella - yay for the flights! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone :)

Naomi - that does suck about your pram. I hope they fix it suer quickly! I'd be lost without mine at the moment.

Must go and get some housework done and attempt tp get DS down for his sleep sometime in the next 2 hours. Since he's turned 2 he's gotten such an attitude and he's getting harder and harder to look after. Was at my wits end yesterday so after Allira's last feed for the night, DH and I sat up and had a couple of glasses of champagne that I got from a friend when Allira was born. It went down a treat ;)

Have decided to have a day out on tuesday and drive down to have the pram fixed, I got a card in the letterbox to say our power will be out from 8-3 so a good time to have a day trip to get the pram fixed LOL. Amy - he's pretty good in the car, if I time feeds properly he should sleep most of the way there and back.

Nicky - sorry to hear you had such a crazy day yesterday - How'd ya go selling those kids :ROFL: Looking forward to meeting you in Nov too, so glad you can come

Amy - Our IL are the same (surprise surprise LOL) - wait for us to offer coffee etc and bring dinner to them whereas my Mum will either occupy Bailey (approapriately so I dont have to go and rescue a screaming baby) or help me in the kitchen etc. I think some of them just have NO idea. Actually that reminds me that last time the IL were over I suggested the MIL occupy Bailey and give him a cuddle and she literally ripped him out of his bouncer WITHOUT undoing the safety harness - I suggested she undo it so she doesn't break him leg (as she was bending in an odd position in her hurry to grab him) and she was like "Oh its all right", I was like "NO REALLY PLEASE UNDO THE HARNESS SO YOU DONT BREAK HIS LEG" sheesh. Yesterday though at our mothers group we were talking about annoying family members and one of the girls trumps my MIL - hers is a frigin physcho - so I should count my blessings LOL!! We are dutifully going to visit them on sunday - at least if we visit there we can leave, whereas its hard to kick them out when I've had enough when they come here :)

Kat - Wow @ Ivy's birth story. I flicked in to read it last night and couldn't stop (DH was asleep by the time I made it to bed after reading it LOL). Its a really fantastic story and I cant beleive how well you have remembered the details (My labour is all a blur to me already so I am glad I wrote it down some time ago)

BG - You'll have to post a pic of E with her pierced ears on FB (actually maybe you already have, I must take a look)

Bella - glad Js needles went well, what a good little girl, I think they handle it better than we do!!

Well I went to gymbaroo this morning and thought it was pretty awesome actually (Nice recommendation there Amy!!). Have booked in for the remainder of the term (which is only 4 weeks anyway). Bailey enjoyed it too, had a bit of a cry towards the end when he got a bit tired, but for most of it he was smiling and laughing so having a ball, lots of tummy time activities to help with his neck strength - have discovered that if I put a mirror next to him he is so in love with himself that he will stay on his tummy for aaaaages. He LOVED all the singing (he is used to my out of tune attempts at home) and is now zonked and having a massive nap from all the fun (I might do all the gymbaroo stuff each morning myself and I'll get a 3 hour nap out of him - NICE!!

Right better go, have a few houseworky things to do before the little guy wakes from his nap

agghhh..

where has my lovely sleeper gone??? for the last week Mima has been going to sleep at 8pm (which is normal) waking at 12-1am again at either 4.30 or 5.30 and then again at 7.....I'm dying!

I know it isn't nearly as bad as what some of u have coped with but i havn't built up resistance and so im acopic! oh dear! ... DH is on night shift too so a can't go into our bedroom for nap. hell i can't go in to get clothes.... i got busy this am with dh and stayed in bra and knicker i sleep in and then he went to sleep. So now i am stuck with the choice of trying to sneak in and not wake him or flouncing around in my undies all day...... i think i choose the undies:)

Today is also my 1st wedding anniversary! yay for me. What a year hey! This time last year was the first time in my life that i had sex unprotected by contraception.... 5 days later i was knocked up! Hehehehe ah what a year. sitting looking at Jemima this morn i couldn't believe what i was doing last year at this time of day.. actually right now i would have been walking down the aisle... well thru the garden down the semi aisle..

Still a slacker here. And I have a monster headache. Ivy has been wailing a great deal today. Think she's still feeling a bit crap from vaccs earlier in the week, plus she hasn't pooed in 5 days. Think I'd be wailing too!
