Nikki, did you scare everyone else away?? It's great to have you back more often! Has Abbie started getting another tooth yet? DS had a temp last night and was crying in pain, toxic poo again (TMI) and has been super-clingy-velcro-baby for a few days now, and this morning there's a white bump on his top gums. Poor kid, he's copped a lot this week!
Wow, this is the start of another big adventure for you and Cody - big school! How exciting! I hope there's some of his friends going to the same school with him next year. It would be nice for him to maintain some of his friendships from kindy, having a familiar face or someone to play with on that first big day at least!

It would be great to be able to get DS to sleep better, and I have heard offering water instead of a feed can help, but I know the problem I've had (and Jess too) is that bubs wont take a bottle. It's not for lack of trying. There have been moments when I'd consider trying horse tranquilizers...

Sassy - hmmm... how to avoid a disappointment like that?? Unfortunately you can't be subtle with men (they just dont GET it!), and diplomacy rarely works either... um, it was your birthday on Tuesday, wasn't it?? HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!! Good luck talking your way out of it, and here's hoping you get the naughty weekend you hoped for! Who knows, maybe he's got a real surprise for you and the houseboat thing is just a cover?? Stranger things have happened!
Yeah, it was a bit awful getting blood tests. DS was ok at first, then when the nurse started poking around looking for a vein with her fingers he started getting upset, then when the second nurse came in he started crying. The second nurse held his arm, and I had to hold his other arm and legs coz he kicks so much, and I was freaking out about him bouncing around with a BIG needle in his arm! But I think the Emla helped because he didn't scream like when he has vaccinations, and I know for sure blood tests are ouchy too.

Jess - hooray for boobies!! hope today goes well with the sleeping patterns for you! Feels so good to sleep more than 5 minutes, hey? Well, it feels like 5 minutes, doesn't it? I'm hanging out for my book to arrive, but last night was actually pretty good after the initial hour or two of interruptions, crying, Teething Relief and eventually panadol! Asleep from 9 to 2:45, a feed and then sleep again till 6:15. This morning he had an hour and a half nap from 8:30, and then OMG scoffed a whole bowl of porridge and wanted more! No silly games, just mouth open wide waiting for the spoon! Amazing... and another nap straight after.

OK, I've babbled enough for today... hope you're all well.
