We had the night from hell last night, poor hamish it was just so out of character for him i think i am still in shock. I gave him his bottle at 7.30 as usual then he had a little play and was in bed around 8.15 then woke at 9pm screaming and didnt stop until 3 am.
He was sneezing alot yesterday but i thought it was just the change in weather etc as i get hayfever and thats what happens to me, but i think it might be start of a cold. He just wouldnt settle for me and Dp tried a few times but still no sleep, i got him to sleep in pram about 1am but he only stayed asleep around 15mins so i resorted to taking him for a drive in the car at 3am he was asleep before we reached the end of the street. Arrived home and he stayed asleep while i put him to bed but then woke again at 5.15 then i settled him with a bit of a feed but he didnt have alot because he could not breathe properly and was getting distressed. He then slept until 8 and Dp gave him formula as he wouldnt drink from me. I think it maybe his top teeth but not sure if he is getting sick, never have i heard him cry in so much pain, even with nurofen, panadol and sm33 he had no relief. I am just hoping he can sleep alot during today to get some rest and hopefully shake whatever is wrong. Dp has taken the morning off work to help and i tried to have a sleep but as usual i cant seem to sleep during the day.
Sass - glad jayda slept well for you, fongers crossed the new routine works for you. I think maybe 3 bottles is not enough either, hamish has 4 feeds atm.
Jess - i know how you feel with supply issues, i am thinking my feeding days are over, hamish would much prefer a bottle now and i think it is because i simply have no supply left, i am happy i have got this far though as i only fed dd for 6 weeks so it is a vast improvement.
Bec - our routine is similiar to yours but if we are out and about it is often out of whack, but usually with the exception of last night things work well.
