lol Roses - yeah, I didnt start nappy free time with my other 2 until they were about 2-3 mths old and could hold their heads up, I just put them on their tummys on the mat for about 30 mins at a time, sometimes longer depending how they were going, but u can put him on his back and hope he doesnt squirt... lol theres not really any rules with it, just go with the flow. It just helps keep nappy rash at bay.

Ethan has been only having long day time sleeps when I cuddle him, trying to break that habit now. It started when he was getting really bad wind and upset tummy. I'm thinking of putting something down my bra so it smells like me and putting it in the basinett but dont know what to use that wont be a suffocation risk. I thought of using one of his little teddies but not sure if thats a good idea???
Nat - what a gorgeous set... I have seen on ebay stick around clouds (if u dont get time to paint them). The co-sleeper is $50 atm from Target it's called Deluxe close & secure sleeper. It's brilliant! especially with the nightlight on it, means DH doesnt get woken up by the lamp.
How annoying about the blackout... and the rough night! I hear u on that! lol
The boys are great with him. Tye is excited about helping me bath Ethan tonight. He puts the nappy's on too loose tho... lol pick Ethan up and they fall off... he's too delicate with him...
And I cant believe the midwife weighed Ethan last week 3.6kg and yesterday she weighed him and he was 4.6kg!!! Bubba loves the milkbar!!! hahaha He is also going into his 000 rompers now too. Not many 0000 that he still fits into!
Does anyone elses baby grunt really loud for attention??? lol Ethan is doing it now...
