Shannon: Sorry to hear you had to go to hospital again, hope you dont have to wait too long for results to happen.
You are going to drive to queensland and back from Victoria?? Wow if you are, i cant stand bieng in the car for more than a 2 hour trip.

Mason is going well, he is such a people baby though, loves us doing something with him all time! Suppose to mean they are smart if that happens but who knows, i will think that for now to make me feel better when i have him glued too my lap 24/7!

Made the most of the Sunshine coast this weekend, went down the river saturday night for a few hours and caught up with friends and a couple of drinks, was great. Then today we went to the beach, Mason hated the waves and cried but he eventually settled with eating sand LOL. Also had them little swimmers on him and i was holding him when we got home and got covered in wee. Didnt realise that they dont hold liquid in! Surely they are supposed too?

Belinda - yeah ... i have little swimmers also, haven't used them yet though .... was under the impression they are suppose to keep the wee inside , that is the purpose isn't it .. :? ... maybe it was water, because they would still be wet on the outside?

I have my wrist results back, I have Tendonitis ... gggrrrr ...new something was going on there, very annoying...oh well at least i know what the problem is now ...am currently using Voltaren ... see how that goes .... hopefully don't have to get the cortisone injections .. YUK !
Jesse has had a bad cold last few days .... had to take him to the doctors Sat'day morning ... he is Ok ... he was very pale in the morning thought i better get him checked out ... he has a sore throat, runny/blocked nose ... have been using the vaporisor of the night which helps. He is also waking up from teething .... he cried for an hour straight from 5am this morning, wouldn't have much water, or take breast at all .... changed his nappy that was ok ... put some bonjela on his gums which helped for about 15mins .... finally he took a feed ... then settled till about 9am....he has never been that unsettled before ... poor bubby ... i'm not used to it either which doesn't help ... wish he could just tell me what is wrong..haha .... he woke this morning happy as larry .... ! :D
We got a picture with Santa on Friday .... he didn't cry but did attempt to pull at the Santa's beard .... (hehe) wish he did, my Santa was a bit of a grouch Boo !!

rails: no it was for a while i think. they had them in k-marts all over and some targets too :)

K mart weren`t giving away any free photos today Boo Hoo.

Rails - ouchies but I`m glad you finally know what the problem is, I hope the Voltaren helps with the pain. Sorry to hear Jesse is sick, I hope he feels better soon. Isn`t it awful when some Santa`s are a grouch it makes you wonder why they even bother applying for the position.

Belinda - sounds like you had a lovely weekend.

Michelle - Wow Alex is getting a big boy. I`m so sorry to hear your news, hugs to you. Make sure you look after yourself.

I had a brillant idea this morning off getting Matthew`s Santa photo taken once we dropped the boys off to school, only problem was Santa doesn`t start his day until 11am ](*,) So we came home as Mark needed to get back and it was only 9.15am, thinking we might try and leave home a bit earlier on Wednesday morning and have the photo taken before we go to the OB`s.

Matthew woke at 3am this morning, I was already awake with the dog howling, Mark didn`t take her down to the Dairy with him so she was left tided up and wanted to be with Mark so she howled for 2 hours until Mark came home.

aww poor Dee :-k Do you live on a farm??? Sounds good!

Kirsty - yes we live on a Dairy farm 530acres of it, the farm is owned by Mark`s parents (well Mark`s Mum now since FIL passed away in late April) and Mark manages it plus we have 2 other workers who live on the farm in their own houses as well which helps give Mark some time off when he needs it. It`s great and a wonderful place for Matthew to grow up on but of course we have to travel a distance to get to the nearest shopping centre etc.

Matthew is saying all his words again he did stop for a couple of weeks but they`ve all come back but still not saying Dad Dad I think he`s not just to annoy MIL hehe, she keeps telling everyone that Mark desperately wants him to say Dad Dad - that`s all news to Mark, he doesn`t mind at all. Matthew is so funny he says MumMum, Bubbub and I say back to him what about DadDad and all he does is laugh LOL They are just so cute but growing up all too fast.

Dee - hope you can get the santa pic ... it is cute :) your farm sounds like a wonderful place for children to grow up, we live on one acre here so still have lots of area for Jesse to run around when he gets bigger. Can't wait for him to be big enough to go around with DH on the ride on mower ..hehe

Shannon - wow ... what a long drive ... dh could never drive that long ... he struggles with a few hours, we always have to stop & swap. Good to hear Jess's eye has turned back ... hope the MRI gives a positive result. I have two cats also, DH is not a cat person .... & we have a cat encloser my dad made out the back, we let them out every day to wander around, close them up at night, i do miss the head sleeps & cuddles ...they are both approx 15/16yo ... DH can't wait for them to die so he can use the encloser as a wood shed ... ggrrrr ...how mean is that !!

Jesse is still not 100% .... but happy enough to eat & play which is good. He woke again last night at 4am .... managed to give a feed & he was back asleep by 445am ... might try to increase his day feeds see if that works .... it could be because of his cold ... so will see ? Think his teeth are definatly coming soon ... feels abit sharpish on the top gums? We have a bird stuck in the conara ... can hear scratching like it is trying to get out ... DH said he saw a bird in there this morning .... but then it was gone .. he thought it got out .... it hasn't ... awful, poor thing.

Dee : Wow that sounds lovely, living on a farm. I would love that. So would DH actually. I cant believe your MIL she sounds like such a stick in the mud. Thats awesome how much Matthew is saying. Hannah is the opposite she only says Dah dah and nah nah. No mumma :( We'll see, hopefully not too long away.


Shannon: Poor Jessalyn ( i love that name by the way). Hannah went through stages of no pooing. But the CHN said to me that they can go for up to 2 weeks without pooing and its okay? But i hope her eye gets better and she doesnt have to stay in Hospital.

Rails: Teeth!! How exciting! I know its painful for the bubbas, but it means they can eat proper food soon! woo hoo! I cant wait for Hannah to get hers. I hope he starts feeling and sleeping better soon :)

Serendipity: those little swimmers are suppose too, thats weird. I got some from K-Mart for $9.95 that are actual swimming nappy , like a fabric sort. and they are great!!!

Anyway Hannahs doing well. I've started giving her a banana for breakie now as well as her other solids for the day. But shes still rolling all over the place, still not wanting to go on her knees and crawl :( Much rather be standing. Today Im seeing my Bestfriend she lives up in Northhampton, up in the north-west of WA. But she moved back to perth yesterday for good. Yayayaya, now i have my bestfriend back. Have a lovely day everyone!!!

One last thing, today i found a pebble in my cadbury chocolate block, how rude!! i rang them and they are sending me goodies and want me to send them the chocolate and the rock :)

In relation to the swim pants, he didnt go in the water so they didnt get wet, was when i got him out of car he wee'ed all over my side. Have read packet and doesnt say much, just that it keeps little accidents in?

Shannon: I am sure the stop revive survive would have something to say about it lol :)
Must be a worry with no poo since Thursday, hope it happens soon so you dont have to end up back at hospital. Also glad the eye has improved.

Rails: Bad news on the wrist, hope you see some improvement soon

Deeane: Funny about Matthew not saying dada, probally is just to annoy MIL, its great when they do that :)

Havent done much else, me and hubby are supposed to be BD'ing madly this week, we lasted 2 days and got over it lol, so will be very suprised if this cycle turns into anything. Might do one last ditch effort tonight if we could be bothered lol.

I have to take Alex but to the CYN tomorrow for another 6 month health check hope everything goes better than last time.
I'm having problems with his eating and taking milk at the moment. I don't think it's teeth as i can't feel anything but you never know. The only time he takes a whole bottle is first thing in the morning and that's it after that i have a hard job getting him to take 100mls.
Last night he woke at 11:30 DH made a bottle up for him and he wouldn't take it the only way he went back to sleep was cuddling his soft toy dog.

I'm soory no personals again but i have been reading what has been going on.

Belinda, you'll find that most swim nappies don't hold very much wee at all... they're not supposed to as if they absorbed liquid then bub would get weighed down very quickly once in the water! Swim nappies will really only hold poos :)

Michelle - Good luck at the CYN I hope it goes better then last time. As you know yesterday Matthew wasn`t interested in drinking his milk all day, he can have days like that then other days he`ll have it quite nicely.

Belinda - LOL @ lasting 2 days BDing and got over it.

Kirsty - MIL isn`t too bad really, she`s just been rubbing me up the wrong way lately well actually since Matthew was born with her silly comments at times, I also think she`s starting to suffer from early dementia as she doesn`t remember or even listen to what your saying at times and when she does she turns the whole story upside down LOL. Yeah it`s lovely out here on the farm. Hannah might be waiting till Christmas day to say Mummum, wouldn`t that be lovely. OMG @ finding a pebble in your block of chocolate. Hope you had a great time with your friend. Matthew`s the same he doesn`t want to get up on both knees, he often gets up on one but his body is sideways LOL, he`s quite happy just rolling and commando crawling at the moment which suits me fine.

Jesse is no where near standing, but does get on his knees & does a little bum wobble back & forth ... very cute !

Belinda - thanks, am using an anti-inflammatory gel, which doesn't seem to be working ... have to give it 2 weeks, fingers crossed !

Michelle - good luck with the CYN today, hope his feeding improves also.

Dee - Yes, we love it here ... we used to live in the inner suburbs, we would never go back now after living out here, is very calming.

Jesse is doing much better .... still getting a tonne of snot out of his little nose, how much can possibly be up there, doesn't stop ? .... He didn't wake last night .... YAY !! ..... i did increase his solids a bit, so maybe that helped .... don't think he moved all night, he was still in the same position from the night before ...haha !!! ....
We have to get our windscreen fixed today ..... we had a stone hit last week & the crack has now split the windscreen right down the middle .... DH booked for a guy to come today .... have a hairdresser aptm in the afternoon ... hopefully he comes before or i will have to cancel .... gggrrr

Things didn't go to well when we saw the CYN now she wants me to take Alex to see a physio becuase he is not rolling yet. I'm not going to make the appt until the New Year and i talk to the lady i would normally see as i saw someone else today. I also have to take Alex is the Dr's tomorrow becuase she thinks he is breathing funny which he does a little but i kept thinkingthat was because he keeps getting colds.
He is now 70.5cm long and has not put any weight on since Friday which is okay with me.

Great to hear Jesse is much better now.

Just presumed that swimpants would hold liquid in, didnt really think about it, glad you have all told me or i would of rang company lol.

Glad Jessalyn finally pooed for you Shannon, would be a bit of worry off your mind.

Yes we are very dedicated about BD'ing lol, still think i am crazy even trying! But kinda excited also.

Rails: Hope it works sooner than that, but you have put up with it this long so far i guess.

Well Mason is trying to pull himself up on furniture now! He is even trying to just stand up on his own, hoping its a slow learning process, i am just getting used to the crawling! Took him about a month to master crawling so might have a while till he gets the walking thing going, hopefully!

Holidays are flying by with Luke so far, but always seem to in december, seems to slow off in January.

Well i havent had the nicest of days. Been a weird one really. Hannahs been asleep since 12.15pm and its now 2.52pm, long sleep! Anyway thats enough from me.

I didn`t have a good night, too many thoughts running through my head plus I had severe tummy ache from 3am I probably should have got up and had some Mylanta but wasn`t sure if that was OK to take during pregnancy. Matthew had one wake up at 2.30am but otherwise all was well.

I took Alex to the Dr's today and i need to now book him in for a chest x-ray. The Dr does think it will show anything but he just wants to make sure everything is okay with his breathing.

Jesse is doing well .... sleeping thru again, still has a snotty nose... yuk, hate it ... gggrrr Have finally put the xmas decorations up around the house ....starting to look festive around here now. Managed to get a few more gifts yesterday .... couldn't help myself with buying stuff for Jesse, just want everything ! Jesse is strarting to manouver his way around the floor better now ... still commando, not quite the crawl yet, won't be long.

rails: i know my hairdresser is at a girl house too. Go with my mum and her friend. She does our foils, full head for like $25, bargain. thats the only reason i get it done, cause it cheap. lol.

dee: Mylanta is fine to take during pregnancy. i had to take it daily for the last 4 months cause i had such horrible heartburn. Hope your feeling and sleeping better now ;)

Hannah woke up last night about 10.45pm having a full on screaming dream. We had to wake her up out of it. It was horrible. She wouldnt stop screaming, poor thing. I was worried all night, so i didnt have the best sleep. Its so weird cause its so out of character for her to even scream or cry. She hardly ever cries, only when she might go off to sleep.

Once she woke up from it she was still really loud and crying. I think she must of had a bad dream or something?? She slept fine after that until i woke her at 8.15am so not sure. yayayay hair appt in 2 hours!

Alex had his chest x-ray yesterday and we are going to the Dr's Monday for the results. Hopefully they will be all clear.

I think he has now got bored of pumpkin and sweet potato as he won't open his mouth for it anymore the other night the only way to get food into him was to show him a bit of pizza which he wanted but he wasn't going to get any.

Kirsty - Thanks re the mylanta, I remembered last night that the Midwives in Hospital when I was admitted @ 24 weeks gave me 1 dose and that`s all I had throughout the pregnancy now it`s hitting me head on this time LOL Oh poor Hannah, I hope you have a better night tonight. Have fun at your hair appointment.

Rails - Thanks, reality is starting to sink in and I`m getting mixed emotions of being sad because I`m not having twins but relieved that I`m even pregnant at all considering there was no hope 2 weeks ago. I know what you mean by wanting everything for Jesse, I have to stay clear of the toy departement otherwise I`m buying for Matthew and he already has so much.

Michelle - Good luck at the Dr`s on Monday. I hope all went ok with you today. LOL @ Alex wanting pizza.

Visited my baby sister today, I thought I`d get away without mentioning my pregnancy but she asked, she said she thought I had a pregnant tummy, I know it`s totally popped in the last week but didn`t realise it had noticeably popped, I wasn`t showing this early with Matthew but I guess in subsequent pregnancies you show earlier.

Matthew slept the whole night woohoo and I did too after having a dose of Mylanta.

Reflux until 4.5 months, Atopic Ezcema diagnosed @ 5.5months, now under control with Elocon for flare ups and Elidel to prevent it.

Wow Dee at your news, so sorry to hear of the loss you have had, and congratulations on your pregnancy, so you how far along are you ?

Had a horrible afternoon today! All went well with shopping but then just got in a really bad mood, poor family had to put up with me! Ended up telling hubby i was sick of them all and went to the bottle shop and got a bottle of alcohol, then a gf rang so babbled to her for an hour and kinda felt a bit better, still in a pretty crap mood though, think i just need to get out of the house for a few hours, the same old is getting to me lately.

On the TTC, would highly doubt that was successful, usually my chart is pretty clear but no temp rise this month properly so who knows, could be too much stress stuffing me around. But sometimes when you think things dont work they do i guess.

Mason is waking up heaps at over night now and screaming and carrying on, no idea whats wrong with him, keeping his food simple enough i think.
Ended up giving him a bottle at 2am in our bed last night, second time we have done that so probally creating a bad habit, but we have to sleep too i guess.

Anyway enough of my whinging!

Belinda - thank you, I`m just over 8 weeks now, but this pregnancy is classed as a high risk/fragile pregnancy so I`m suppose to be resting lots, that`s a bit hard when Christmas is looming up and everyone is coming here so somehow I have to clean this house plus do all the cooking. Sorry to hear your down, I hope your feeling better soon. Could Mason be teething?

Kirsty - yeah, it is sooo much cheaper, i had a colour, trim & blowdry straight for $40 .... that is less than half it would have cost in the salon .... have been going to her for a few years now. KWYM with Hannah waking screaming, Jesse is doing that every now & then also, thought it might be teething? .... he normally sleeps thru as well, so is concerning when they wake hysterical like that ?

Michelle - its funny isn't it they eat something every day, then won't touch it ... like it's poison ! ..... then they go back to it a few days later like it the best thing they have ever tasted ... little rascals !!

Dee - haha .... i know, have to be stong next week when i do the last of the shopping .... no more for Jesse !!!.... get gifts for the other kids ... geez, it will be hard .... YAY @ Matthew sleeping thru the night ...he must know you need the rest !!

Belinda - Hope your day today is better .... fingers crossed Mason sleeps better for you tonight.

Jesse woke up last night at about 1230am ..... managed to get him back to sleep with just a cuddle ..... he didn't wake again. He is not eating his brekky will only have a couple mouthfulls, then he shuts up shop ?? .... not sure why .... We have my work xmas ****tail party tonight .... first time Jesse will be babysat .... DH's sister is looking after him .... we are staying at her place also ..... will be strange not to have him beside me, kinda don't want to go, but know I have to do it eventually. He will be fed before i leave, so she will only have to put him to bed in the portacot. Doesn't look too crash hot outside .... raining & yukky - Great for a night out .... gggrrrr

Sorry I have not been on for an age but had visitor after visitor. I had to reply to this quote though as it describes my MIL as well. We have had them staying for the last 3wks and they leave today for the UK (not celebrating or anything!!!!!)

I have been having major battles with asking her to leave Erykah alone when I am trying to get her to sleep. She tells me she is hungry even though she has just watched me do a feed. She is cold even though its 30 degrees. She needs the light on (for gods sake!) and she shouldn't sleep alone. I have been biting my tongue and even cried. I know the start of dementia doesn't help as she doesn't listen and also does not remember that I told her not to go into the room whenever Erykah made a squeak.

Anyway I must go as we are heading to the airport. I will try and post more regular now the visitors are finished for the year.

If I am not on before have a great xmas and boy hasn't the last 6 months flown

Hi All! It is sooooo hot! I really dislike summer... yuck!

All is well here. Hannah's toothy pegs are still coming through. I can't believe how sharp they are. Hannah's perfected the commando crawl, and doesn't seem real keen on learning to crawl properly. She's now pulling herself up to standing on furniture. AND we're down to 2 wakings per night \:D/ yay..breakthrough.

Shannon - Sounds like you'll have a full blown crawler by the end of the year! It is good when they can follow you around the house. Hannah did it for the first time a couple of days ago (just commando though)...followed me from room to room while I folded and put away the washing.

Hey Jo! Welcome back! So good to hear from you and Erykah. Your MIL sounds like a nightmare. Hopefully things will get back to normal once they're gone...

Rails - Hope you have fun at your work xmas party. Good on you for making the break! I did it for the first time last Friday night for my work xmas dinner too, 'cept I left Hannah at home with DH. I was really glad I did it.

Dee - Congrats on the pg! I hope you're resting up lots! Tell DH it's his turn to clean and cook (ok..I know...yeah right...)

Belinda - Sorry you had such a horrible day yesterday. Glad you had the chance to talk to your gf. That usually makes me feel better too. Hope Mason sorts himself out soon...it must be exhausting for you...

Went down the river tonight for a couple of hours and got caught in a big storm, luckily Mason was in the car already, hubby and luke got soaked through. The advantage of having a baby is that your friend has to go round up everyone else in the rain cause you cant leave the baby:)

Jo - Oh it does sound like your talking about MIL it must be dementia sitting in, MIL will often stand right outside Matthew`s room talking but when she talks the whole neighbourhood can hear her which off course then disturbs Matthew.

Rails - I hope the party went well and Jesse was good for DH`s sister. How did you go leaving Jesse? I`ve only done it the once and I`m not too keen on doing it again LOL

Matthew didn`t want to sleep yesterday afternoon which was a shame as Mummy was exhausted and not feeling well, I wish this bleeding would stop, it`s so scary, I can`t relax at all.

Good afternoon all...just wanted to share... Hannah went to bed at 6pm last night, and woke at 12....then didn't wake again until 5am!!! Yay!!! I could get used to this.

I tried getting her to have a nap thismorning however, and she threw a tanty...I went back in to her and she was STANDING in her cot banging on the top of the railing. DH lowered the base thismorning. Very scary! I'm so glad she didn't topple out! OMG!

Dee - I've been ok. Same old same old really ;) How's the bleeding now? Sounds very scary. Take care of yourself...I know it must be hard to relax...

Belinda - Sounds like Mason came in handy during the storm 8-) I hope he doesn't have too rough a time with his teeth coming through. Must be horrible for them...

Serendipity: I know how you feel. Its so weird being woken up in the middle night again. It hasnt happen for about 4 months. I definetly think its Hannahs teeth as well. Has Mason been a little bit off his food as well? Cause Hannahs not really wanting to eat much, and people have said thats what happens when their teeth are coming in???

I've had a wonderful weeked, apart from Hannah not sleeping well. Its been great. Went and looked at Christmas lights all over Perth on friday night and saturday night :shock: hehe. I thought i'd put some sedagel on her teeth when she went to bed tonight to see if that might help the waking up. She is sleeping fine in the middle of the day. But we did have a 11.00pm and 11.30pm on friday night and sat night. So maybe it was the late nights as well that dont help. take care :lol:

Alex's x-ray came back okay i have to try him on Kimberley's asthma inhaler to see how he goes on with that. We go back to see the Dr in a months time and if still no change he will start to run more tests he did mention cystic fibrosis (sp?) but he doesn't think it's that.

Shannon i think the Dr was just going through a list of the things Alex could have and that is one that came up. I said i thought he was tested at birth and he said they some times miss it but because Alex is doing so well and has not got a cough all the time then it should not be CF.

I agree with you Shannon they should keep their big mouths shut unless they know for sure what the problem is.

That is one reason why i changed from my old Dr as he got me so stressed over Alex's kidneys for nothing.

I can't believe that is what a ER doctor told you and to say not to worry about it. What mother is not going to go home and worry.

I've been feeling so tired and so fed up with this bleeding just wish it would stop. My next BT is Thursday and i am going to have a chat to the doctor about it all and when he thinks we can start trying again. So i should have the BT results Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.

I think Christmas will take my mind of things for a while at least we are going to DH's Aunt's Christmas day even though they don't do Chritsmas we are only going to have a small bbq.
