Why do some Dr`s have a habit of making such statements when they should know better of course a mother is going to go ho,me and stress out aboutit Grrrr.

Michelle - Thinking of you and hope Alex is ok and it`s nothing serious.

Juliette - Yay for Hannah, Mummy must feel like a new person. OMG @ Hannah standing, thank goodness Matthew`s not interested in standing, oh my nightmares would just begin LOL. The bleeding has now just gone back to spotting but it would be nice one day to be spot free, I mentioned to Mark this morning it`s such a worry and I`m sure not normal, just don`t know what the future will hold, it`s so hard I keep thinking this time next year will we have a baby brother or sister here with Matthew, I should be thinking positively all the time but it`s hard.

Shannon - How are you and little Miss Jess?

Angel - I hope both you and Kynan are ok.

I`m such a silly Mummy, went in to my bedroom to have a lie down while Matthew`s asleep but on the way I kicked the side of Matthew`s cot and of course he woke and after being asleep for nearly 2 hours of course he didn`t want to go back to sleep, so I`m feeling totally exhausted I seem to have to have a day sleep to even keep going with this pregnancy wheras with Matthew I couldn`t sleep at all.

Matthew`s doing well, eating us out of house and home and getting into everything, he`s going to love helping Mummy wrap some presents later LOL

Hey everyone

Well Mason did the screaming the house down at all hours again! Hubby ended up resettling him in our bed or went to sleep and left him too it lol.

Luke was with Mason in his baby pool before and looked so cute together. Have Mason by the door now watching Luke still splashing about.

And yes i agree the medical profession tell us way too much, i said to my doctor while pregnant that i hated that i knew too much!

Dee: Hope everything clears up by christmas for you.
And can relate to kicking the cot, every time i seem to do something similiar when i really want him to sleep.

Moof Mum: Mason has been eating pretty well still, but will look out for the signs :)

Juliette: Yah on the sleeping, hope it lasts for you:)
And yeah is scary with the cot, lucky DH lowered it anyway.
Said to my DH last week Mason's needed to be lowered as he was starting to pull up on it, he goes oh thats a weekend job! I said well i hope he doesnt fall out before then, the guilt got him and it was done that night!

Belinda ~ We are going to lower Alex's cot soon as well just in case he learns to pull himself up when we are not looking.
How lovely it must have been to watch them both in the baby pool.
I love putting Kimberley and Alex in the bath together they have a great time splashing around and i get so wet i have to cover myself with a towel.

Dee ~ Did you manage to have a rest yesterday ? Hope Matthew slept all night for you.

Alex has gone back to waking at night and taking a feed not sure why i guess he is needing it at the moment. He can't grow anymore he will soon have no clothes LOL.
I don't think any of our families are sending them anything for Christmas unless it comes this week. Just glad i went and brought them heaps of stuff.

Hi all

Well glad to have my house back to myself.

Erykah is doing really well. Loving all solids she is given and I added rice to her list of foods yesterday.

She is sleeping better at night but the teething causes her to wake a bit.

Michelle - I hope the family send you some parcels, we have been receiving one a day for the last couple of weeks. Shami thinks she is going to be spoilt.

I have to dash as I have to go to the dentist lost a part of a tooth yesterday wonder how much that will set me back!

Very quiet in here but i guess with Christmas everyone is busy.

Shannon know what you mean about the other kids picking them up, Luke decided to get Mason out of the cot for me the other day while i was on the phone! Nearly had a heart attack but he did ok.

Hope the test wasnt too tramautic for Jessalyn or yourself today.

Matthew had 2 wakeups last night and I only barely remember getting him up at 12am, I woke at 1am with him cradled sound asleep beside me LOL He`s grizzly this afternoon but he`s also teething so they go hand in hand.

Shame we could be moving further away from you.

I don't think we will get anything from the UK my family said they were only going to send Christmas cards this year which i haven't even got yet. Not even a mention of the nice homemade ones i sent and as for DH's family they said they don't have much money but then they are telling us how MIL has brought the 20 ppl she works with bottles of wine each. So figure that one out.

Alex has been sleeping for ages today i think it is because of the heat. Hopefully he willwake up soon i filled his baby bath with water and let it in teh sun to warm up for him so he can go and play in that until DH comes home and takes him in the pool. He is still no sure of the swimming pool yet but i guess he will get used to it.

Yeah my babysitter is moving further away :cry: , it`s great for you though, is it all a done deal that Paul does have the job? Alex in the pool sounds lovely, Matthew hasn`t been in ours yet, I didn`t go in it at all last year mainly because it`s such a deep pool that it takes all summer just to get slighty off the chilly side so it`s far too cold for me.

Just to let you all know! FINALLY DH got a job yesterday. Working for Enjo cleaning stuff. Fulltime salary! woo hoo! so glad. More money, steady hours and steady money!

It's still not a done deal that Paul has the job just waiting on the referance from his boss to go in and then we will know more. Hopefully we will know before the New Year as i doubt we will before Christmas now.

I put Alex in his baby bath outside and he didn't know what to think he kept looking over the side. Once he got out Kimberley got in and he thought that was funny.

That is great news about the job for you r DH Moof mum.

Jo - It's great to see you again. It is nice when family come over but it is nice when they go home as well. Hopefully things will get back to normal.

Michelle - Its good to be back. I have spent many a night during night feeds trawling through threads to keep up just didn't have a spare hand to post.

It is nice to have visitors but it is nice to have the house back. Next lot arrive end of March. We are going home (have you heard me home! Oz is now home but I guess the UK will always be home too) in Oct 06 for a month visit so looking forward to showing Erykah to family and friends.

Did Baby Boot camp yesterday my god do I ache. What an excellent workout though. But I am walking like an old woman and can hardly lift Erykah up!!


Shami got offered a job today for Yarra Trams and it is such a promotion I don't have to return to work well not if i don't want to so that is a nice xmas pressie!!!

Jo ~ That is great you don't have to go back to work. I still call the UK home sometimes like you do but i know this is my home now.
We have my dad and stepmum coming in May and we also might have FIL coming as well but not sure yet as we should have moved in the New Year.

I don't mind my family coming as they are going to stay in a motel or something so they don't put us out at all which will be good.

Hey Joh, where are you doing baby boot camp? Kate (Kate10) with Kelsey from July thread was doing it, but I think down at Dromana. I was wondering if they had one up our way. And how old is too old for bubs? Because I wouldn't be able to get to it until Feb next year when school goes back, so Jessalyn will be over 8 months by then......it just sounds like a fun way to get into shape.

Morning Ladies,

Sorry going to be slack & try to do personals later have been busy last few days.

Had my xmas ****tail party Sat'day night, was stressed out before we left, was so worried Jesse would not go to sleep & give DH's sister trouble. But, he was a little gem .... went straight to sleep at 8pm ... I rang her at 830pm & he was fast asleep ... i could then relax .... Had a FANTASTIC night ... Only had 4 glasses of wine with Water in between & felt like i had had 10 ... !!!! ... whoa straight to the head ... was so funny ;o) ... DH kept laughing at me. We got back to DH's sister's house about 130am & Jesse looked up at us then went back to sleep ... little darling ... he woke up in the morning about 630am ..... Me not feeling too good then ..... remembered the old handover wasn't very friendly .... had a really sore neck from some very strange dance moves the night before ...haha ... (my friend had the same neck pain)
Also ..... drum roll please .... JESSE sat up unaided for the first time .... for a couple minutes ... even had time to get the camera .... Very exiting ... was praying he would sit up before christmas ... YAY !!! ...
Still have to go & get some more xmas gifts today ... & then tomorrow can't wait to have them all .....

Hello All,

Well..I have a very active young lady on my hands atm. She is obsessed with pulling herself up to standing on any piece of furniture she can find. Only problem is, she thinks she can walk - takes her hands of the stabilising object and tries to take a step and falls flat on her face. I can't leave her alone for a second! Where is my nice, convenient little immobile baby?! I caught her standing at the front door flyscreen shouting at the dogs yesterday. Very amusing. I've updated her website if anyone's interested. I took a few photos of Hannah with Tim's latest pumpkin crop - just for fun.

Does anyone know if you can get crash helmets for babies?! (it's a half serious question - she's gonna end up with head injuries at this rate!)

Looks like we`re all very busy Mummy`s atm with Christmas.

Juliette - thats about the same time Jenna started pulling herself up on EVERYTHING!!!! The good news is they start learning to fall back on their bums, rather than sliding off to the side and banging their head. Jenna doesn't bang her head so much accidently anymore. She does head-butt stuff on purpose though, really hard again and again. Maybe she misses the bangs! Oh - and she's learnt to stand and pull things now, so tables/open cupboards etc dont stand a chance.
We wanted one of those crash helmets too - someone could make a killing if they invented a good one. All those stressed mummies would be racing out to buy them!!! PMSL.

Well me being a big kid an all i had a peak at the gifts we got from the UK and they got some lovely stuff. Alex got two tops and bottoms from Marks and Spencers. Jo will know the shop i mean.
Kimberley got a handmade top and it's so soft she also got some wooden puzzles. My step-mum always knows the right stuff to get them.

Michelle - Don't you just love M&S I get mum to get all my underwear from there and post it to me. All my maternity bras are M&S.

I am lucky I guess I get everything I ask for. Mum has bought Erykah a couple of Grobags cos they are cheaper. She gets my bras as I am a big cup size and struggled to find anything decent here but M&S have loads to choose from and nice designs.

You can shop online with mothercare. I have ordered stuff and then get it delivered to Mum's she then posts onto me.

I also miss Next so does DH we will deffo go shopping there in Oct when we return for a month

Michelle - Yay for the presents arriving, sorry your SS present hasn`t arrived in time for Christmas :( Wow @ Alex he`s quickly catching up to Matthew`s weight, WTG little man.

I have one very cranky little boy on my hands, he`s been crying hysterically, he hasn`t got a temp but I`m quite sure he`s teething so that must be his problem, not my happy little Matthew at all.

Not sure if I`m going to get a chance to pop on tomorrow or not, as I have a million and one things to do and still have presents to wrap and haven`t even began on Matthew`s yet. Had to go to out of hours doctor today. I have nipple trauma due to Erykah biting me!!!!! Oh well at least I don't need antibiotics for anything worse. I just have to express that side for a few days till it clears up.
