Rails - I hope DD has a quick labour and is holding her baby by now. It`s lovely to see them learning, I get a big kick out of it.
Michelle - They always pick up the naughty things quickly, Matthew was copying his cousin last week and we only see her 3 times a year but within seconds he was doing what she was doing - climbing up on my sisters lounge jumping on it like a trampoline  My neice is about the same age as Kimberley.
Angel - We`ve had some yucky poos from Matthew as well, so yucky that within seconds they burn his little bottom, they have calmed down a bit now but it could have been teething as I found Matthew`s first eye tooth a couple of days back. That`s what Matthew was doing before actually starting this biting, just rest his teeth on my leg but now I don`t trust him at all after being bitten a few times already.
As I mentioned, Matthew has his first eye tooth, so that`s 13 teeth now and the others will not be too far behind.
Due day today but someone forgot to tell Baby Boy LOL Mark keeps asking has he arrived yet LOL
Take Care
Dee
Wow your still hanging about Dee, do some squats girl, started my labours off
Very exciting waiting for your news though :)
Michelle - sounds like he might be teething again .... Jesse would hardly eat a few weeks ago ... was terrible, he is back on the food now, loving it ... until the next tooth ! ... vicious cycle (sniff)
Angel - wow must of been a stinker must be something in the air as the last few days Jesse has not done one solid poo ... they have all been mushy & yesterday was very very stinky ... had not smelled anything like it, was awful ... i thought he might have a tummy ache, but he seem perfectly fine .... strange ? ... same here, thought it was teething & checked his gums & the last molar has not swelled up yet ... so not sure either ???
Dee - I love it when he does the pointing game ... but i'm not game to get him to do it in front of anyone else other than dh ... because he always makes a liar out of me ... & i have to say the usual - he does it all the time on our own LOL ! .. so will keep practicing some more till i am more confident with his understanding haha
Well my sister had her baby yesterday morning @ 11:02am .... Baby Girl named KYANA LEE - 7lb 7oz .... she is my sister's second child, they have a 2yo chatterbox named Shynelle who was the only one that guessed she was having a girl .... everyone was convinced she was having a boy ... she had such a different pg, from start to finish she carried different also. They are both doing very well ... she had a natural birth.
Jesse is doing well ... not much to report, my SIL looked after him yesterday & said he was an angel .... not dramas at all with him ... she has a little 6mo, so was really good of her to care for him while i was at the hospital ... we left at 7am.
Hi Everyone.
Well, you guys were right. Harry's tantrums disappeared along with his illness - thank goodness! I did find that if I ignored them he stopped pretty quickly and if I shower him in praise when changing his nappy, his clothes or bathing him he really reacts in a positive way. So I just make sure I tell him what a good boy he is and he generally will lie still for me.
So thanks again for your help! I hope everybody is well. xxoo
Karen - That`s great news :)
Rails - Congratulations on becoming an Aunty again, I sound like your sister, I`m carrying completely opposite to Matthew, all really low wheras Matthew was always high. Glad Jesse is doing well.
Belinda - You sound surprised I`m still waiting, I`m not, I knew I`d go over again, I just hope it`s not 2 weeks over!!!!!
Well we no longer have a name for baby boy, Mark told me 3 days ago he no longer wants his brother`s name, I thought he was joking so it`s taken this long for me to believe that he`s deadly serious LOL I told my Dad today don`t be surprised that Baby Boy doesn`t have a name, his reply was he`s never know a man to change to mind as often as Mark does about things, he`s right there, I`m always telling Mark he`s worse then a woman LOL
Matthew `sdoing well although he did have another allergy flare up a few nights back, not as bad as last time but he still got extremely itchy, red and hives all over his face and it was due to pasta that he`s had for months, oh I hate allergies!!!!! Gave him some Phernergen as we were told to do when it`s not affecting his breathing (then we use adrenaline if breathing is affected), by the time he went to bed about 1.5 hrs later he wasn`t quite so red.
Take Care
Dee
Well as long as your not suprised Dee then its all good :)
I thought you had a planned c/section with Matthew
Glad that his rash went down
Shame about the name want my lists of them lol
Belinda - I was 40 wks, 6 days with Matthew when I was advised to have a c/s.
LOL I`ve got Mark onto the name game, I`ve given up and just going with the flow LOL Knowing Mark he`ll change his mind AGAIN!!!!!!!
LOL well i thought you said earlier you really like Nathan and it goes well with Matthew
Nathan Joel last name lol, there ya go
Hi Everyone,
Alex has finally start to sleep all night again which is great i think he caught Kimberley's virus and it just upset his tummy. He's cut back on how much milk he has and we have been trying to give him dairy again only little bits but hopefully we will be able to get him on to cows milk as it's so much cheaper than the soy stuff.
Alex can now do Twinkle, Twinkle little star and he so loves to dance.
Since i put a pillow in his cot he doesn't seem to move around so much next stage is to take the side of his cot so he gets used to sleeping in a small bed before he gets put in to a big one later in the year.
It's nice to see so many of us having babies again. Dee GL and sending you lots of LV.
Belinda WTG 27wks today. Not long to go now.
Lesley nearly 12wks how are you feeling ? How is Chloe ?
Angel you being pg again just brings a smile to my face i am so happy for you and DH.
Hope everyones little ones are doing well.
Thanks Michelle :)
Was hoping there might be news of Dee to read, hope all is well Dee and you are not still waiting for bubba :)
Hi All .... yeah, i keep checking too for news on Dee ... !!!!
not much to report here ... Jesse doing well, his last top molar is cutting .... he has a snot nose again with a cough as well (as predicted boohoo) ... but he is sleeping thru which is good ... but has been a struggle to get food into him this week. He bumped his head on the desk & got a slight black eye ... was a fight to let me ice pack it i tell ya !
Hi Girls, I`m still here, I did pop onto BB quickly yesterday to post my news but here is a rundown anyway:
I`ve been in pre labour since late Sunday night, had regular contractions 8 minutes apart from 12.30am Monday (only got 1 hr sleep due to the pain) plus mucous coming away, then yesterday afternoon things died down and contractions started coming every 40 - 60 minutes apart, I managed to get 5 hrs sleep last night but was woken often by contractions, today they are 20 - 40 minutes apart with the occasional 12 minute one, I`m in an awful lot of pain in my pelvis and back area, my pelvis feels like it`s falling apart LOL
I`m obviously one of those women who are going to take days to get to active labour but my Doula says that can be a good thing as once I`m in active active it can be very quick.
I just want to know how many more days do I have to put up with this? I know no one can answer me but it can get frustrating but I must remember my body is working and is dilating, it`s just a slow process.
Matthew has been very very demanding, I think he know`s Mummy just isn`t herself, he wants me to pick him up ALL the time and with a pelvis which is falling apart and contractions it gets very uncomfortable holding someone his weight.
Rails - Matthew isn`t eating much either but I have read up they do get fussy around this age and they also don`t require as much as they did before they were 12 months. I just don`t worry about it, if Matthew is hungry he`ll eat.
Michelle - Yay for Alex sleeping through. Is twinkle twinkle little star Alex`s favourite nursery rhyme? It`s Matthew`s favourite, he stops what ever he`s doing to listen to Mummy sing (if you can call it singing LOL)
Belinda - I still like the name Nathan but can`t use it, I didn`t realise one of Mark`s relos kids is Nathan.
Just waiting for Matthew to wake then I`m going for a walk, I might walk this baby out!!!!!
Take Care
Dee
well glad you come in with an update Dee, all sounding great for progress, sorry though that its not helping you be comfortable, well sounds like it can only be a day or so away rather than weeks
best of luck that the labour goes smoothly for you :)
Good Luck Dee .... sending you lot & lots of quick labour vibes ****** sounds like the little one is on his way ... will be thinking of you & wishing you a drama free active labour ((hugs)) .... !!!!!!
Good Luck Dee.
Sending you lots of VBAC and labour Vibes.
I wonder if your little man will come on the 3rd when Matthew turns 15 months old.
Everyone must be hiding.
I got Alex weighed today and he's lost just over a kilo in the last month. The lady weighing thinks it might have been her new scales but i said that's he's walking all the time now since then and also he doesn't have formula anymore so I'm sure that would have made a difference. I remember last time i went she upset me because he was off the chart being too big so it made me smile today knowing he is under that now.
Hey guys,
I haven't been around much. Kynan is teething and I've been up since 2:45am this morning with him screaming the whole time plus I've been feeling a bit 'blah'... m/s and all.
Deeanne, have been thinking of you and hoping that all is going well.
Michelle, yeah I was at the CHN the other day and she was saying they can often lose weight once they start walking and they don't have the same kind of weight gain at this age as when they were younger. Kynan weighed the same as he did a month ago although that was on different scales too.
still popping in for Dee news :)
hope everyone else is well, besides indigestion all is good here :)
Angel i hope Kynan's teeth don't play him up too much and they come through ok. Alex still only has 8.
Grrr @ m/s.
hey again, well still no Dee news hey, how you going Dee???
Still waiting to hear from Dee. I sms'd her about an hour ago when she replies I'll update. Hopefully she won'y reply for a while and it could be good news :)
Still no news about Deeanne? Thinking of you, Dee!
How is everyone else going? Hope you've all had a good weekend.
Michelle, Kynan has even fewer teeth than Alex - the two that are coming up now are only teeth 5&6 LOL.
well hope the update is longer coming then if things are happening for her
all is well here, Mason is like a 2 year old already but i think with him doing stuff so early he just seems so much older to me, he is so funny though
No news from Dee hopefully she is in labour and not out of phone credit.
hey everyone .... the suspense is killing me with Dee ... !! .... not much going on over here in Jesse land.....he is getting over his snotty nose which he has given to me AGAIN !!! .... i swear since i have stopped bf, i have been non stop sick from his germs ggggrrrr !!! .... Gave Jesse a go in the shower on the weekend (with me) - he was like a scared little mouse .... poor thing, he came good in the end, hopefully he will be better next time, he's just not used to it LOL !
Yes hopefully news soon :)
And Mason was the same with me in the shower, ok with Bill as he is used to it, but with me he didnt like it, i am not into showering with kids though so no biggie to me, was out of desperate need for a shower lol
Well all is well here nothing much to report, oh funny though mason was carrying on earlier and i said what do you want and he went over to floor and picked up a piece of coloured popcorn and showed me he wanted that lol
Deeanne's little boy is here.
Yah thats great news, cant wait to hear how it all went for her, hope it worked out as planned :)
so gather that was all the txt said for now
It's all in the birth announcments.
Well said congrats over there but a huge congrats in here to you and your family Dee, you will have to let me know how it all goes with two bubbas around, so i can see what i am in for lol
All is ok here, not much happening, had a big pregnancy scare on friday, again, due to a doctor not informing me they were sending me for a further scan and getting a phone call from a major hospital asking about when i wanted an appointment!!
A something cyst was found on brain at 18wks scan and nobody mentioned it to me till the other day, but have since found out they are nothing anyhow but they must of decided to just check it cleared up on its own, so had a horrible day trying to sort it all out, but have another scan now 21st August in Brisbane, will let you know how that one goes
Belinda that must have been very scary for you, I'm so happy for you that everything was okay with bubs. I can't believe no one told you what was going on it just shows you that sometimes they don't really care.
yeah and got another call this morning from another hospital wanting to book me into an urgent scan!! Cant believe it really
If its nothing why are they sending out referrals to all these hospitals then!!
Stupid ppl, so left it at original appointment on monday, so hopefully i come back with good news on that one!
OMG Belinda, that would have been so scary! All the best for your scan on Monday. Let us know how it goes!
yeah .... that must of been an awful fright Belinda, hope the scan comes back with positive news for you ((hugs)) ...
Just gave Jesse one of those little snow domes to play with it is now smashed all over the tiles .... ggggrrr ...knew i shouldn't of given it to him to play with - his face lit up when i gave it to him though ...
hope you are all well xxx
aaww cute about his face lighting up though, and as long as it cleaned up ok, maybe you could buy him a plastic thing with the coloured liquids in it that they turn over like an egg timer, mason has one, bit sturdier than the globes
Well all is still ok here, applied for a house to move too but as yet havent heard anything, will see how it goes, if not well wasnt meant to be and will keep looking
Hope Dee and family are all going well :)
Rails, you could try making up something similar yourself. I half filled a little water bottle and then put shells and glitter shapes in it (and put glue around the inside of the lid before I put it on LOL). Kynan loves tipping it and rolling it around on the floor.
Belinda, good luck with the house!
Shannon, yay for Jessalyn walking now!! Hope she is feeling better soon... and good luck with getting all the doctors sorted out!
Today Kynan has learnt to walk just holding onto one of my hands. Before he needed me to hold both of his hands or he'd topple over. This morning he made me hold his hand and we walked round and round and round and round the house until he got too tired LOL.
Thats cute Angel :) very clever
Shannon: Glad to hear all is ok with you, and hope you sort out the medical crap you need too, and Woohoo for Jessalyn keeping them clothes clean :) clever girl
Hi All .... yeah that sound like a good idea to make a glitter bottle thing - he loves to play with my half water filled bottle....was just a spur of the moment thing to give to him, knew i shouldn't of straight away .. doh !!
Glad to hear Shannon that you are settling in .... moving is such a drag !...hope the doc work out well.
Angel, YAY @ Kynan doing the hand walking ... he will be off in no time.
Belinda, good luck with the house hunting.
Well.... Jesse has his EYE teeth coming .. SNOTS are back AGAIN !!!! .... poor thing only had a week break .... he is soooo off his food, had really red bottom - which has finally cleared up thank god, was awful ... but he is sleeping well so far .... never ending these teeth LOL !
I took him to one of those playclubs for little ones aged between 1-6 which is set up in the indoor sports centre ... they had two jumping castles, cubby houses, big gym mats, tunnels , coloured ballls ... etc ... Jesse had an absolute ball, he loved it - only cost me $4 because he is under 2yo .... mums sit at tables to watch, with coffee/food delivered to your table ... was great !
well back from scan today and not great news, they found a marker that could indicate downs syndrome, so although its one marker and they said it probally isnt, doesnt really help me not worry about it!!
So not much else to say at this point, have an appointment on thursday with hospital doctor and then will have to see whether they think an amnio at this stage can be done so at least i will have weeks to prepare either way!!
Also baby is breech but that could change of course closer to the dates, we shall see
