Morning ladies,
Not feeling 100% today. I think my stomach must have "popped" out a bit over night cause i woke up with a really sore stomach. That and i just feel crappy. So i slept in a bit and decided at 8.35am it was time to rise and make Briley some breakfast. She has a bit of a cold so was in our bed since 6.30am. So i got up had a spew and made breakfast. I am ok now though. Pregnancy! It does the weirdest things to us.
Vic - Yeah thats what i reckon! Trust him! Thats cool about yesterday. If your busy your busy. Plenty of other times we can chat. That is sooo cute about Dylan lecturing the teachers. I would have loved to have been there. The p&c meeting sounded like it was a blast. I am not that sort of person to even think about trying to play the "soccer mum" typre. I leave it too all the wanna be's! I prefer to keep too myself. Sounds like you might be best doing that too!
Leanne - The first few days back are the hardest and most tiring. You will adjust soon. Good to hear you are all over the bug though. Finger painting sounds great! I would have thought Katie was too you too do things like that but obviously not!
Well today is pretty much a repeat of yesterday. Mum is coming up this afternoon to stay for the weekend. So we have to get in and tidy the house up. Briley and daddy are outside doing washing now!
Brent got confirmation on when he is starting the new job lastnight. He leaves monday. I honestly don't know how i feel about the situation. I will definetely be able to tell you monday afternoon. Probably lonely. You don't realise how much you rely on their company until they are'nt there with you. Lucky i have a very good support system..ie family.
Quiet in here today. Hope you are all well.

Christine ~ I hope there are jobs in SA LOL. Otherwise in 4 or so years I’m gonna be in trouble!! I hope you sort through those martial issues and just the crap in general. Everyone seems to be having a crappy start to the year this year.
Sara ~ Arghhhh at the bogged cars!!! How annoying! Its gonna be hard having Brent away especially when you’ll be pregnant with a little one to look after! But you’re gonna cope fine sweety! And the money you get paid there is just fantastic! I love Briley in that ticker picture btw! I hope you're feeling better now as well.
Shazz ~ Sending you loads of  I wish I was closer to come and help you. Please pop back in and let us know how you care. :(
Kim ~ Awww honey sending you lots of  I hope you get some more sleep and stuff sorted soon hun.
Elissa ~ Your mum sounds like my mum!! I find the only times I relax is when I’m with G or I actually have something to do – either errands to run, someplace to go or a house to clean. If I’m just sitting there with nothing to do it doesn’t work LOL.
Vic ~ That is so sweet of Adam!! I can’t wait to give my little man some siblings to be like that with! Pmsl @ the P&C meeting!!
Leanne ~ Glad to hear that you are all feeling better now. Wow at Katy doing finger painting – how cool! Blurgh at the 5.20 am start!!!!
Is my bubba the only little man without teeth LOL?? Darn stupid teeth!! Even his cousin who is 5 weeks younger has teeth now!!!
We went to swimming lessons this morning which must have tired Em out because he’s been asleep since the drive home! We have a new teacher this year and she just adores Em lol. She’s always saying what a happy baby he is hehe! There is also a lady at Em’s CC that just adores him as well. She takes him off my hands when we get there and she’s still got him when I get back LOL.
Things are going really well here though finally. Em’s in a nice routine and my personal life is starting to sort itself out. I’m really excited about uni despite the crappy lecture times LOL. And today my friend’s house started getting built!! YAY!! I will be moving into it when it is finished as her and her fiancé are building 2 – one to live in and one to rent.
It’s Em’s cousins 1st birthday tomorrow so we are off shopping this afternoon to buy him a present!!
-
Well I'm quiet cos Cam used all my internet allowance 9braodband) and now I have like the slowest connection ever.....at least he was doing an assignment.
Hehe I can sned you an email about it Sara, but it was particularly gross. So much so that me, who never ever pulls rank and usually does the awful stuff so the junior doesn't have, pulled rank and stayed outside. Maybe while your feeling a bit yuk, todays' not the day.
Shazz, I had a cry for us both yesterday. I think about how awful you're feeling a bit. Hope you get the best outcome for you.
Vic, I was so looking forawrd to you standing up!....buggar!
Ha Leanne, did DH tell you we saw him yesterday....and we were just talking about him - wondering how tall he is actually.
Well DH has done the usual - apologised and acting like nothing happened....trying to pick the best time to appraoch stuff...don't want another repeat. BUT the IL know the best times to bother me - they are coming round this arvo...wooohooo! NOT! :P
ETA Nope Nat, Darcy Dragon has no teeth either....but she's the best chewer I know. Most the other mum's in my mothers groups still puree thier kids food, and darcy can just chew regular stuff.....
-
LOL When Em does get teeth he's gonna be great! He chomps on food really well though not as well as Darcy by the sounds of it! Good on you for pulling rank. Grrr @ the IL's! Hey at least your DH apologised... most men can't even get that right!!
I have to go and buy Em more sneakers today. He has sandals and that's it! All the others he has grown out of! And he has to have shoes for CC so he needs them now. Its gonna be another expensive trip to Big W at this rate LOL :wall:
Has anyone seen the new Bonds Winter Range? I love it! I'm so excited for winter - I can't wait to rug Em up in such cute clothes!! Though I will be an emotional wreck by then because Em will be 1!!!! Where has the time time gone? I'm starting to get teary already... :p
-
lea - i know its so sad and scarey isn't it???!!!! Just makes me want to pregnant again so i can have a little newborn again (how quickly we forget the sheer exhaustion of a newborn!). I haven't seen the winter range yet, we should be getting a BigW down here in the next few months , i can't wait i love the the place and miss it since we moved from Adelaide.
sorry i can't remember the rest of the personals, there were too many!
when Arch gets really frustrated with something he just throws it and does this really loud angry scream...anyone else doing this??
-
I am on a roll today. I'm just having one of those days where everything goes right!! I've even been able to keep up with posting!!!
Vic ~ GL with trying to change it. They need more 'real' mums on P&C from the sound of it! I got paid yesterday and spent it all today LOL. The CC require all kids to wear shoes and a hat outside. So I send him in shoes. There has only been one time that he still had them on when I picked him up. And that was because he was outside LOL. That is my last spending spree though LOL. Even though I only got stuff I needed - shoes for Em, uni stuff and a birthday present - I still spent too much. Its not that I can't afford to but I want to start being more wise with my money this year.
Elissa ~ Oh my the tantrums Em has!! They are unbelievable! I didn't realise they would start so early!!! And G just taught Em to throw properly (smart man) and now everything he gets in his hands he throws  Whereabouts are you in SA again? Part of the new range is out in Big W already. I just tried to find a Bonds website but they don't seem to have one :(
Well all my uni stuff is organized besides my text books. The UniBook site has been down so I can't get prices for the books I need. I am going to try and find them cheaper if I can - ebay or some thing hopefully. One of the text books is $80! :o
Alright seeing as my day has been so great I better go and complete it with a basketful of ironing
-
Oh Nat doesn't get any better either. Bonds do have a website, I'll try to find it. Thier winter stuff is quite cool though.
Yep ELissa I've got a tanty chucker too.....like now when she doesn't want to go to sleep.
Vic, why can DH always see through it??? That's good about the dress standards at CC. I know Leanne has to send Katy in closed in shoes too.
SPeaking of getting teary. I was nursing Darcy before I and was so overwhelmed. By what I have no idea. She just amazes me. Then I thought, I hope it happens with 2, 3 and 4 too and then I thought of you Vic and i wasn't worried anymore.....
-
LOL Kim I get that feeling too. When you look at their little faces and little hands and they're looking up at you smiling, staring at something intently trying to work it out or just sleeping... it melts my heart. Thanks for trying to find the Bonds site. I only had a quick look on google - I was sure there was one though.
I am half way through my ironing and Em is annoying me. So I'm having a break LOL. Well I was actually walking down the hall to get more water to put in the iron and happened to stop by the study pmsl!!
Em is still trying to crawl underthings that he is too big for haha! It makes for a funny site!!
-
Funny funny about Dylan, but I'm never sure whether I should laugh at her or not. You know when they do something naughty or socially unacceptable but is really hilarious to those of us who are 5 years old at heart? Yeah I'm not sure how I'd go either Vic. Is it ROsehill or Randwick? I'm going to Rosehill next weekend for my sisters hens day.
Darcy was up til midnight last night:o Little cow. Then she only slept until 6. Just when I think she's got it....and she's cut back a day sleep. She can be awake for hours and not be tired :dunno:
ETA Nat, if you look up bonds dot com dot au for the bonds site. I just signed up to their mailing list becasue the full range isn't available online yet.
-
Oh der Kim... that was easy enough haha!! Now I look a bit silly LOL. I have signed up as well!! 'd love for Em to be a bonds model I think... that little boy on the site was so cute!!! Em was up late last night as well - till 11.30 and then woke half way through the night for a bottle. Then just before 6 woke up... grrrrr. Then I realised he'd soaked himself through LOL. So I changed him and bought him into bed with me and he slept till 9. He's asleep again already LOL. That's what you get for staying up late pmsl!!
Vic How excellent will it be to get away without kids for 2 days! I'm sure you'll miss them like crazy though. How sweet is your DH? Glad to hear that things are going well with the IL's - sounds as though you've got it all worked out. I'm sure its some sort of safety issue with the shoes - who knows. It doesn't bother me because I prefer Em to wear shoes when he plays outside anyway. The poor kid drags his feet over the roughest surfaces and gets all dirty and cuts his feet up. And besides I think the shoes are just too cute hehe!!
Well Em is asleep and the washing is on. I have a few things I should do while I'm waiting for him to wake up. We're going out as soon as he does. Its his cousins first birthday today :D I can't believe our babies are all going to be turning 1 soon. Has anyone thought of 1st birthday party ideas??
-
No ideas for a party yet, though don't want it to be as bad as the christening.
I'm a shoe fan too. Don't actually like the idea of them on pre walkers, but Darcy has heaps of shoes. I even have one pair I love so much Cam bought them for me in the next size up
-
Is it bad to have shoes on pre-walkers?
-
lea - i wouldn't say it is 'bad' to have shoes on pre-walkers, but it is recommended not to put any shoes on til they are up and walking confidently. This is because the feet don't develope properly if they are cramped up in shoes which might be a bit tight. I don't put shoes on Archie but that is more cause of money reasons and i myself love to be barefoot as much as possible cause i find it comfy and free so i just do the same for him.
Don't get stressed about it or anything, just keep an eye on Ems shoes and make sure they have plenty of room to wriggle his toes around and grow.
i did a great big post with personals and then the screen froze so i cracked it and turned computer off, that was couple of hours ago, so sorry for no personals, its not that i don't care, just annoyed at computer.
-
No not bad, sorry Nat. It's just easier for them to learn to walk in bare feet.
-
vic - that is so funny! i can't wit for Archie to pipe up with things like that!
it took arch an hour to get to sleep this afternoon, and while he was mucking around in the cot he was whistling! I can't even whistle!
-
Hahahaha Vic!
I have a funny story today. I think I set off a national security scare in Pakistan - no joke. Dh is doing an anti-terrorist driving course at the accademy in the next few weeks and he has to do an assignmient on the assassination attempt on the Pakistani President. So me being the nerd thought it would be cool to ring the embassy and get some onfo from their side. Well every time I explained my story, the line went silent and they tried to palm me off to someone else. In the end they gave me the defence branch and the last lady got me phone number and said she'd ring me back.....well no-one has....
I have to find an outfit for the races and shoes for this wedding. I have been shopping ALL afternoon and cannot find a thing - stupid season change.
-
Kim- How funny, hopefully you haven't started a full scale alert at the embassy LOL. It must be interesting to be in the Police force, i always watch Missing persons and Motorway patrol and all those shows (then again I love any reality tv LOL)
Neverplan- Hayley's school sounds very intense, I read your thread about uniforms too. We have a fairly strict uniform policy but there is a clothing pool where you can get everything you need and they always have 2nd hand stuff too. Ours all have the school bag but hang different trinkets on them so the kids can tell their own.
Elissa- don't you hate computers some days?? that never happens when you just type a couple of words its always when you make a big effort.
Lea- BDO sounded great, Jess wanted to go to the one in Sydney but we decided 15 was just a little bit too young to go with friends (not so much her age more that some of the crowd may not be as sober or drugless as we'd like LOL) Its very stressful having a teenager, you always thought you would be so incredibly cool as a parent and when they are teenagers you're not!
Riley still has no teeth and is still stationary. I am sure the teeth are close but then again I have been for months.
I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend, Riley is still waking 2 hourly so I may nap a lot this weekend. Hope your shopping goes well Kim.
Hope all the other mums and bubs are well too
-
I totally agree about 15 being too young. My 24yo bro has been going for about 6 years, but he's a big strappy navy chappy. One year he broke his ankle and just disappeared. I was working and it took me hours to locate him at a hospital.....
-
Evening ladies,
Thought i would jump on the computer for a while. I have had a pretty busy day today. We started cleaning up the front porch to put up the fence around the edge for when Briley start crawling and walking. My mums b/f is also painting the house inside and out for us. And the best thing is everything is FREE!!!! Good to have friends with certain skills and free paint! The lounge is done and Briley's room is half done. Briley is having a yellow room! I love the colour.
Not up for personals tonight girls. I have caught a cold from Brent and Briley and i don't really have much energy. Especiall not thinking energy!
Other than me being sick, we are all well.
Hugs and kisses to you all.
Talk tomorrow...
-
Elissa ~ Arghh at the computer freezing how annoying!!
Kim ~ Buggar at not being able to find anything. That is always the way when you’re looking… and then when you’re not you come across the greatest stuff!! Pmsl @ setting off a national security scare in Pakistan!!
Christine ~ I can completely understand – especially at 15. Though I do have to say that I was expecting some vile behaviour and saw none at the Adelaide BDO. It was really good. There were security everywhere as well as police, first aid officers and ambulance guys. It was really well done over here – out of the 35,000 people that attended there were only 4 arrests and 22 people kicked out. I hope that helps you feel better for when she asks next year or the year after LOL. Oh and they are extremely strict on the alcohol thing. When you walk in you have to go to a booth to show your ID and you get a wrist tag – without the wrist tag you aren’t even allowed in the bar.
Vic ~ That is just classic of Hayley to say that LOL! I would have been pmsl as well!!
Sara ~ Gotta love free paint!! That sounds fantastic! I wish I could paint Em’s nursery but being a rental there is no way that I can! *Maybe* in my next place as my friend owns it but I’d rather not IYWKIM. I hope you are feeling better sweets!
Thanks for the shoe advice there! I had a scary moment for a second thinking I had done damage lol. He only wears shoes when we’re out – so at home where he does most of his walking he’s fine. And he only has 2 pairs of shoes that are hard soled the rest have all been soft sole ones anyway.
Well not much else to say. I’m excited about uni but you all know that!! Things are great here and there really isn’t much to say for once! Oh except we have nicknamed Emerson Satan’s Spawn lmao! Not very nice but the kid is so angelic one minute and a horror the next! Its unbelievable!! I think he is teething right now the poor thing. He is just chewing everything and seems to be in so much pain! Darn stupid teeth! Everytime this happens I swear that they are about to cut but they never do…
-
Lea- next year I will send her to Adelaide and se can go with you LOL!! Or maybe Kim's brother can take her! actually I think she can stay away from sailors!(her mum got into too much mischief with sailors LOL) Hope the uni prep is going well. I can't imagine going back to studying so good on you. I think Riley is about to get teeth all the time too, one day I will be right.
PMSL at Em being satan's spawn, Jess likes to refer to Riley as the devil baby! Riley is really relaxed and gorgeous until something doesn't go his way and then he is the tantrum thrower from hell!
Kim- are you going on another shoe mission today? I hate shopping for a specific thing cause you never find it. Where is the wedding?
My brain has just switched off so no more personals except I hope you feel better soon Sara.
Erin is harrassing me about what is she going to wear to a party (tomorrow- she likes to think about these things for a while LOL) I have to go and sort out her apparant wardrobe crisis!! BBL
-
Morning...
Just popping in quickly to say hello and that I survived my first week back at work. Boy it felt great to not have to get up early this morning. But it also felt great to be paid again.... My boss is being really nice and has even given half of my 'tasks' to someone else to do. Should all work out fine
Today there's all the washing ironing and other fun stuff to do around the house but you get that.
We kept Katy home from 'school' yesterday cause she had the runs big time and it seems there's still something going on down there.
Other than that not much happening.
Sorry for no personals there is so much to catch up on but I am thinking of you all.
Oh and happy 9 months for the 9 May babies for yesterday.... Kaitlyn, Phoebe, Darcy, and Jesse (I am sure I have missed one).
BBL
:)
-
Gotta love the hand me downs Vic! My cousin gave me bags and bags of stuff for Riley which was great cause she only buys pumpkin patch esprit etc (and refuses to put her children in terry towelling!LOL) Riley is now better dressed than anyone else in the family.
Does your school have a school council? The P&C sounds like they need some "normal" people like you in it!
-
Afternoon ladies,
Stil feeling pretty crap. Briley has been a down right you-know-what for the last couple of days which makes it harder. Lucky mum is here to help out! Having a bad pregnancy day today. I have brought back up whatever i have eaten again. Hope it does'nt get as bad as last week.
Leanne - Glad to hear you survived work! Its hard is'nt it! Going back i mean. I am so glad i am over it now!
Kim - OMG!! Thats so funny....a national crisis! I would have loved to have listened in on the conversation!
Vic - Hand me down are great!! Only i seem to be the only one doing the handing down at the mo! Might have to go and pay a visit to my aunty!!! ;) Thats helarious about what Hayley was saying. You can't help but laugh can you!
Nat - Yeah we rented for such a long time. Its great being able to do whatever you want to the place! Your time will come honey!
Quiet in here today...
BBL
-
Nope Christine gave up yesterday and went out for lunch with Mum and Dad to Watson's Bay (Doyles). We love going there, and DH and I got married at the navy base on the hill, but he had never actually been to the restaurant and nearly had a heart attack at the prices.....we grew up in totally different places..... Will continue with the mission today though. To make matter worse my sister rang to tell me she had found a dress and shoes for next week blech!
ETA My bro's nice guy, not like most of the sailors I used to know either...hehe he's the only kid I know who is still cool but openly bags drugs and drug takers (you know how often they don't say what they think cos someone might laugh)....what am I saying he's 24...oh well.
I love yellow Sara! Darcy's next room is going to be yellow and pink! Hope you're feeling better chickie.
Nat that is no worse than me calling her Darcy the Dragon.
Sunday again, more work yuk. Wonder what tonight will bring. We've got a bit of a babysitting crisi tomorrow cos I don't finish until 7 and Cam starts at 8 but would have to leave home at 7, so he's coming to work early and we'll swap Darc at half time. Thank goodness we work together....
-
Got my shoes!!! $26 too! No dress though. I just look terrible in dresses and feeling very overweight this week.....Jodie I have failed the challenge.
-
Yay for the shoes Kim. I hate dresses too, I am just the wrong shape for them, thighs/hips too big, boobs too small LOL. Can you wear really dressy pants and top?? Skirt? I hate the pressure of things like this, do you have a friend with a fantastic wardrobe who is the same size as you????? (what fantasy land do I live in LOL)
Riley woke every hour last night, maybe he's teething, I am exhausted but did manage a nap this arvo thank goodness. Erin went to the birthday party and came home with green hair! Luckily her hair needs washing before school tomorrow anyway- there were a couple of mums who had washed their daughters hair for the party who weren't too excited about it.
Have a good night at work Kim, hope nothing too dramatic happens although it would be interesting for us living vicariously through you LOL.
-
Morning girls!
Still feeling so crap. Got a cough now. Just going to bum round the house today i think. I have a few things i need to do. I just don't have the energy levels. This flu seems to be sucking the life out of me, literally. I just can't do anything. All i want to do is sit around. I hate feeling like this.
Anyhoo, sorry bout that!
Been quiet in here the past week or so. Hope you are all well.
BBL
-
Sara- I hope you feel better soon, is your mum still there? I can't imagine coping with pregnancy and a baby, you must be exhausted you poor thing.
Vic- You go girl with P&C!!! I see you as president in 2008 LOL. I have a fairly noninvasive lot of parents this year luckily. I always welcome parents into the room but it depends on what they're like whether I enjoy it!! I have one potential PITA but she has kept her head in so far, annoyingly I got her cause they didn't think its fair that the new teacher have to deal with her LOL. Child is lovely though. As long as you make an appearance sometimes Vic, then you'll be the perfect parent LOL. Pop in say once a week and don't be interrogating her about hayley's work every time either! Just let her know you're available for reading groups etc but that you have the little ones. (I feel like I'm creating some sort of super parent here!!)
They sprayed coloured hairspray at the party that why Erin's hair was green.
Kim- hope work was OK
Leanne- are you all better now?
Sorry I forgot Vic, Riley is the best contraceptive/completely turner off s-e-x in the world for Jess, I'll be lucky if she has kids at 30 LOL. She is a great help but it has taken the "cute" factor out of having a baby for her- she knows what hard work it is.
BBL got to do my homework
-
Thanks for thinking of me Christine! Wasn't too bad last night. Been pouring so the rubbish tends to stay indoors. Just a bit over other people's crap that's all. I often wonder what it would be like to be naive.
Cool green hair too! Remember when that was fun, and your mum didn't get upset - so they have to wash their hair again!
Oh and I wish I knew someone like that.....yep think I will do the top and pants thing. But don't actually have a babysitter for Darcy now as Cam has to work....my mum's coming so the only option is for me to leave early or the ILs.....really don't want to go there. Has put a dampener on it that's for sure.
Sara love hope you're feeling better soon. Did DP go to the mines today? How you coping???
It's absolutley been teeming down for a couple of days now. Great weather for ducks
-
its not raining!!! ATM anyway- I am so sick of the rain, I spent all day inside with 23 stir crazy 6 yr olds I need some time in the staffroom today and they need some time running around.
Riley woke up every hour from 10.30- 2.30 then Erin got into bed with us cause she had a bad dream, then R. got up again at 3.30 for another quick feed(cuddle/comfort suck) then after that I decided to ignore him (tiredness turns me into a witch eventually) and he just did his little grumble, which usually makes me go to him so he doesn't wake Daniel, and he did it a couple of times and went back to sleep!!!! OMG can it be the answer is this easy? So when I got up at 7am I had actually had 3 hours sleep at once!!!!!(unheard of for months)
Kim- I would hate to have your job and kids, I worry enough about them especially Jess and I am reasonably naive. if I knew what you knew I'd never let them out! Maybe you need to chat to Jess about the dangers of life cause sometimes I try to explain that walking along the street dressed like she does sometimes actually can look like an invitation to some people, and posting photos of yourself in a bikini on your myspace is really dangerous.
OK enough of my hysterical mother of a teen rant. Gosh I love babies- you know where they are, they don't want to go to parties with alcohol or get in cars with P-plate boys driving them and they don't tell you that you are an embarrassment LOL.
Kim- if you lived closer I would say come and meet us then leave Darcy with us he you go the wedding (thats sounds great- "I'm leaving my baby with a woman I met on the
internet LOL)
Got to go and get ready for school. Have a lovely day everyone.
-
Hey Girls
YAY we are finally home!!! Chris arrived in Melb on Thursday, we drove around getting photo's of the city which was good but it was very hazy and the photo's aren't as good as we would have liked. We went to Lambs who make the BEST kebabs in Australia!! (I have been craving them for months now haha).
I have been completely shopped out and had to get Chris to bring a suitcase to fit Jayden's new clothes and toys in hahah.
Saturday we had my niece's naming day and 1st bday, Chris and I were names as guardians. It was a great day but it got very windy and cold.
Oh and the wedding!!!! It was GORGEOUS!! My friend was even more beautiful than I could ever have imagined and her dress was to die for....It almost made me feel like getting married but then I think of how much they spent ($50k+) and I know why I don't get married LOL. Jayden of course was the entertainment for the night even the waitress offed to pay us millions to keep him. He looked so cute in his little suit and bow tie!! I have some pretty good pics that I will have to get around to putting up on Jayden's website.
Anyway this boy has learnt to cruise furniture and is trying to pull the cord out of the laptop and trying to type. I better go and play with him and start unpacking....back to work tomorrow :( I'll try to pop in later
Have a great day everyone
Oh I haven't heard from Sheree in a few weeks I'll txt her today and find out how they are going.
-
Morning ladies,
Feeling much better thismorning. I have even managed to clean the house! Its going to be really got today so i thought i would get in early while the fog was still covering the sun and making it cool.
Christine - Nah mums gone. And as bad as i feel saying it....thank god!!!! Mum gets on my nerves after a while. And i think i get on hers!!! Its good to have her here to help me out and stuff but i need my space and she needs hers. That the reason i moved out at 17 i suppose!
Kim - Nup he has'nt gone!!!!! They are really stuffing him around. They called yeterday to say that a question he did on the induction last week was'nt answered properly so he has to go back in and fix it up. Its really starting to sh*t me. At least he still is able to work in his normal job till he goes. They are starting to hassle him too now though. They want to know when he is leaving so they can get someone to replace him.
How have you been lately honey?? Hows things going at home and that???
Tania - Glad you had a good time mate! I wish i could do that!! The wedding sounded lovely. $50K!!!!! Geez that a lot of money. I can't wait till i get married. But i really don't expect that to happen for quite a while.
Briley was a down right you-know-what yesterday. She was sceaming and crying and carrying on most of the day. I tired to put her down to sleep quite a few times cause i knew she was tired but she would'nt relent. I could tell it was her gums so i tried to rub some sedagel on them and she was kicking me away and everything. She has been chucking the biggest tantrums lately. Its quite shocking! I nearly lost my patients one time. I just sat there and let her cry. I had to force the sedargel in but once i got it on her gums she crashed straight away.
For those who have girls, have any of them started to scream??? Not for any particular reason, just scream. Briley has been doing it the last week or so. Just squeling. I don't know wether its out of frustration or just cause she can. I find it funny.
On the up side, Briley crawled last night. She can do it from sitting up but not from laying down flat. She leans forward from sitting onto her hands and then brings her knees up and moves just a few steps. I missed seeing it but i realised i'd seen it from the corner of my eye. She was chasing a bit of paper on the ground. So i don't think it will be long now. Look out world!!!!
Well this is had turned out to be longer than i intended. Hope you are all well.
BBL (maybe)

Hi all!
too many personals to remember again...
Sara hope your cold is going away. Archie screams with frustration and its really quite scarey sometimes!
We have finally made the decision to ttc#2 so Sara hopefully i won't be too far behind you (wishful thinking took 14 months to get Archie)
Archie slept right through the last 2 nights OMG!! He can stand up and balance himself for about 10 seconds, won't be long now...

I have about 7 thousand things to do today while the Dragon's asleep....and I can't be stuffed doing any.
That's great to hear Elissa. Good luck.
Yes Sara I have a squealer. I figure she's just testing it out. She love to crawl into the bathroom and do it lol. That's exactly how Darcy started crawling. I have absolutely no desire for her to walk. She's a cyclone as it is.
Thanks' for the offer Christine. :D
ETA $50K isn't too hard to spend when you are planning a wedding....we found out the hard way.

pmsl Vic. I'm gonna use that line myself.
I am still around just busy as per usual. Once I start uni I can hopefully start to get into some sort of routine. Everything is everywhere right now and its hectic!
I have heaps to do around here today and like you Kim I can't get organized. I have told myself that I will not do personals until I've least cleaned the house LOL.
50K would be easy to spend on a wedding! It must have been gorgeous!!
Alright I'm going to leave it there... before I start rambling more haha! I will BBL for personals though.
Big hugs to you all.

Well I got organised, washed the floors, did three loads of washing, dishes, went to the bank etc, now I want Darcy to have a sleep so I can have a kip before tonight but noooooo
-
I have done the dishes, bought the washing in, sorted and folded it. I've got dinner cooking and I've almost finished vacuuming. Then I have the mopping, dusting and ironing to do. Along with uni stuff (First Aid Course to sort, Police Check to sort, text books, uni calender etc) and I'm well overdue on a few letters and emails to friends/family....
Miss Darcy sleep for your mummy!!!!!
I better get back to it!!!

I did finally get a sleep. Bit over an hour.
How many milk feeds are your babies having daily? Darcy has only been having four feeds for the last couple of months and none over night, but the last few days, hasn't been real interested during the day and is needing a feed over night.....how many bf should she be having???
You have to do your own police check Nat? Gees in my day (lol) the uni did their own.
-
I have to fill out the paperwork and send it off yea. Oh and pay for it as well! The results go to me and the uni though. Which makes things easier.
I don't know about BF per days Kim :dunno: I do know that Em generally has about 4 bottles during the day and none overnight now. YAY for getting some sleep!
Hey did you ever end up making that trolley seat cover?
