Sara Its good to hear from you sweety. I still can't believe that part time is 4 days!? Are they full days? That's a good idea to go external. You can still go into lectures and stuff if you need that way as well. Have fun today won't you! My first classes are tomorrow. I have 2 lectures following one another so I'm there from 2 - 6. Are you and Brent going to try and talk before he leaves or are you just going to have a break?
Em is at childcare and I have a zillion things to do so I better get my butt off the computer and get moving LOL.
How was everyone's weekend?
Yariv was meant to have his racing car experience on Saturday - but it was raining, so it was cancelled. Damn! He was really looking forward to it. Instead we went to out to dinner and then the casino that evening. That was really nice.
That's a bummer Jodie. Is he going to do it another time or does he miss out completely now. Dinner and the casino sounds heaps better then my Saturday night LOL!! I worked on Sunday and had a baby shower on Saturday which I enjoyed so much! My friend is expecting a little girl so all the pink stuff got me clucky LOL.
I have a load of washing on and I've just cleaned the pantry. Onto the fridge next and then I'll empty the bins and do the dishes. Then vacuum, mop and clean the mirrors and windows. It never ends does it?
Nat - Yeah 4 days is a lot hey! I am going to see one of the faculty today to see if i can change. Hopefully i will be able to. My last lecture today is from 4-5!!! I have to try and find something to occupy myself from 2pm till 4pm! I hate it being like that! Its a real pain!
Brent and i are "talking" but we have'nt talked out our issues. I will probably just let it cool till he gets back.
Happy 9 months to Em!
Jodie - Thats great bout shaun's teeth! Still none here.
Well i just mowed my whole lawn! Took me 2 1/2 hours. I think nesting is kicking in for me! I am quite sore now though and i have a headache!
hey Sara ` good to hear from you hope things get sorted out n=between you both before brent leaves nothing worse then feeling in limbo
sorry but i have to ask this
did anyone go up a couple of bra sizes and stay there after having your babies cause OMG this isn't funny anymore i was a 10 A when i had my DD went to a 10 B thought wooohooo went from a 10 B to a 12 B after DS1 and a good size 12b prior to Ryan went to a 14 c feeding i went REAL bra shopping for the first time last week and there is no mistaking i'm now a 14 D what the heck is going on i'm so not liking this
Shazz ~ I am back to my normal size. OMG @ being a 14D?!!?! You've got some killer cleavage there!
Ohhhhh I hope you're having fun Sara! I hope that the time apart will help you guys cool down and think through things individually before coming back together. I really hope you sort things out. OMG at you mowing! That sounds like heaps of mowing! You should be taking it easy. I am lucky and I don't have any gaps like that this semester. It is all spread out over 4 days though which is a PITA!
Have you thought of names for this bub Sara? G & I were talking the other day about the names we like and the ones we'd never have. We were stuck on boys (or more to the point we're hoping for a girl next!) but he likes Charlotte for a girl. He said the one name he would never have is Madison as it is too 'bogan' LOL (I hope that doesn't offend any Madison's out there hehe) I'm not too sure about Charlotte as I'd like to use my middle name Kae and I'm not sure if that flows well - Charlotte Kae with Charli for short LOL. Anybody else have names they would love to use and names that they would never use for one reason or another?
Hey Sara hope your day wasn't too long. We're having a break ATM too. Limbo is awful, but sometimes the cooling off period needs to be called in.
Yes Shazz, I've gone from a 12c/smalld to a very full 12dd even when I'm empty.
That's a bit poo Jodie about the car. Hope he gets it soon. I did that last year - very cool, no-one thought I would do it.
Hey Nat why don't you google getting the stain out? mum spilt red nail polish last week, followed something she googled and you can't even see any marks.
Had a very long night filled with mental health and multiple suicide attempts last night. couldn't have rescued Darcy if I had wanted....
Uni was good. I was late for my first lecture cause i went to Subway for lunch and there was a huge line up ofcourse. Then i drove to the uni and i went to the wrong bloody building. So i had to get back in my car and drive to another spot and rush to the right lecture theatre! Uni campuses are hard to navigate!!!
Got a really sore back from mowing and i am sunburn too!
Shazz - I have always had naturally big boobs anyhow. But now that i am preggers again they are resembling watermelons!
Nat - Has been talk of names. Ofcourse nothing has been agreed on! I like Campbell for a boy. And a few others but Brent always says "No!". MEN!!!!
Kim - Your work fascinates(sp??) me!! I would love to hear some of your stories!
Well brent got the call today and he is def leaving on wednesday. Don't know how to react to it yet. I'll tell you wednesday arvo
I just finished watching Brothers & Sisters. I love that show
I have a bit more reading and an online lecture to complete for my class tomorrow. I'm trying to get as much done as I can tonight. I have a few hours between morning coffee with the girls tomorrow and my class so I have time to do it then as well. MSN is distracting me right now LOL.
Sara I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed your first day! Buggar at being late. That's my fear - I'm leaving extra early tomorrow hehe! Campbell is nice and flows well with Briley. Men never like names hehe!
Vic OMG @ your feet. I'd heard of that happening before but I've never known anyone that its happened to. I have over 40 pairs of shoes - I'd have been devastated if my foot changed size pmsl!
Kim Thats a good idea re google. I will give it a go. The carpets need a good clean anyway. Sounds like you had a tough night I hope it gets better for you.
Well its late and I've been distracted enough to not do much since sitting at this computer. I must remember to log out of MSN when I'm trying to study hehe! Will chat tomorrow if I get a chance! The only good thing is that I'm coming home to dinner being cooked for me hehe!
I also don't think i am going to be able to change my enrollment to external. I was sent to try and find the faculty office yesterday and do you think i could find it! NO!!! I got lost so i gave up. So i will go have another look tomorrow and if it is still too late then so be it. I want to go external to take some of the pressure of me but i also want to keep going part-time (internal). For the social interation i spse. Not that i am there to meet ppl but i am sure you know what i mean.
Plus Danielle, this really nice girl i met, said that i could probably change it next semester. This would work out well cause the baby will be due in the next semester and it will be really hard for me to juggle new baby, 14 month old baby and uni. But i made my bed did'nt i!
Another busy day ahead here. I am trying to get a heap of things around the house done before Brent leaves. I suppose that's half the reason i got in and mowed the lawn yesterday. Still have a few things left to do around the yard. Lots of washing as per usual. And the house needs to be cleaned.
You take it bit easy Sara. You don't need to wear yourself out entirely.
Have a good day today Nat.
My shoe size went from a 9 to a 10 while I was pregnant. Still hasn't gone right back but I can still wear my shoes.
Tried on my bridesmaids dress last night. I tried it on with my wedding corset and it sat much better, so I feel a bit better about it. Not real comfy, but it's only one day I guess.
Just chilling at mum's today before another night on the run.
So I take Katy to the doctor again...... Upper Respiratory Tract Infection and some form of gasto. So she's on Lactose free formula for a week and antibiotics, and she can't go to 'school' this week at all. That's fine, Mark and I can work around that. The thing that ticks me off is that we still have to pay, even though Katy's sick (and it's from her going there in the first place - which we expected but still....) and we have a medical certificate. That's $232.00, for the four days. I thought surely if we had a certificate they could do something, but NOOOOO.
Ah, rant over.
It makes me think that it's probably the reason why so many kids get sick there. Parents must send their kids even if they are sick, cause they can't afford to stay home with them..... Any thoughts on this?
Just popping in quickly before I do some more uni work and then head off to campus!
Sara I completely understand why you would like to stay part time on campus. It some ways its easier to stay motivated when you actually have to be there. And its wonderful to bounce ideas off others and hear different POV's. You are going to be busy next semester - don't overload yourself hun. And take it easy! Why isn't Brent doing this stuff before he goes???
Leanne It sucks hey? I'm 100% rebate so I only pay $17 a day but when Em was sick last week I had to pay then as well. Just watch out as well because I think you only get 30 sick days that the government will pay the rebate for. So if Em was sick for more then 30 days in a year I would start paying the full $55 without rebate for the sick days past 30. Does that make sense? I can see why parents send their kids sick which is really sad. I hope Katy is feeling better soon.
Kim When is the wedding again? What colour is the dress?
I'm a bit scared LOL. There is no exam for the subject I start today. There are just 2 assignments with a 50% weight each And the first one is due in 4 weeks and the next one the following week I'm sure I will be fine though. I'm not hungry at all right now but I'm at uni till 6 and I know I'll be starving while I'm there.
This is totally off topic and probably TMI but dear lord have I been running to the toilet so much in the past day. Is this how UTI's start? That's the last thing I need. I haven't been drinking anymore then usual either.
Kim - I wont honey! I am so going through nesting at the moment. I AM LOVING IT!!!! Its really good to have some energy back! Thanks for caring though mate!
Nat - Assignments already!!! WTF!!! We have some online questionaires (sp??) to do, but i dont think any assignments though. Try not to panick to much! You have a month!
Brent is doing the stuff too. We both have'nt stopped since thismorning. He is on the ride-on now doing the stuff out in the paddocks.
Can't help you with the UTI question. I have'nt had one before. One of the girls that i talk to in Belly Buddies had one of them without even knowing. She went shopping with her sister and when they got the car she collapsed and an abulance was called. She got the hospital and they told her she had a severe UTI!! Unreal! Maybe call the 13HEALTH # and ask them. I have used that a couple of times and they are pretty good.
Leanne - That sux! A lot of money too. When i finished FDC for Briley i was going to get the DC lady to watch Briley while i was at uni as well. There was a gap of about a month before i started uni and they wanted me to pay half fee's to keep her spot. I was like....thanks, but no thanks!
I called my mum thismorning and she is not well. She got up thismorning and could'nt make it too the toilet in time and poo'd everywhere. She has also getting bad pains is her stomach. She had bowel cancer a couple of years ago which, luckily, has'nt come back. But she says the pain is just like when she was sick before. I told her to go to the hosptial and have it checked incase it has come back. I think that she is scared on gong there and them telling her that it is back. I am a little worried to. I hope she is alright.
Nat ~ i can't count how many UTI i had when i was pg does it hurt to wee like an acidic type burn and running to the loo all day even if you just went you feel the urge again ??? or maybe your just PG with #2 ( just brain storming ) if it is bothering you off to the doctors it is a simple pee on a stick test for UTI ( lol for both ailments really) hope you feel better soon
Well I am off to work tomorrow and for the rest of the week. Mum's looking after Katy tomorrow and DH has Thur/ Fri off.
I think I can claim this week back on tax cause I have a medical certificate. Does that sound right?
Not to worry, at the end of the day Katy needs to get better before 'the next thing', and it is doing her immune system good. I've noticed a change in her already this afternoon and she's only had one dose of the antibiotics. She's vomiting up chunks (TMI I am sure), so maybe that's what she's been choking on????
I am just glad she is feeling better. I hate seeing her not her normal happy self. Last night she was happy to sit on my lap for ages, which is unlike her.
Going to get dinner ready.
Thinking of you all.
BBL for proper personals...... (fingers crossed
