kim - thankyou so much for your kind encouraging words. you are so right about just coming across to people as confident i am very good at that thank goodness. i bought Arch a cheapie sleepsuit last week and it is the best purchase i have ever made! He now puts himself to sleep and sleeps right through the night, shock horror! I hope it works just as well for Darcy. Hope Dh hurries up and feels better, they are the hardest sick people to look after, such sooks!

Jodie - Congrats on the results, thats so fantastic, it must be such a relief!

nat - well done on being so organised, its such a great thingt o feel proud of yourself isn't it?! oh and have fun clothes shopping on the weekend you lucky thing. We are also desperate for new clothes but we are waiting on some money to come through, we refinanced the house and got a bit of extra money to do up house and stuff, but of course the bank is taking FOREVER to discharge us, can't blame them i guess as they are losing money.

Well unfortunately no playgroup today after all, Archie decided that he needed a sleep instead (of course, its always the way) maybe we will go to kindergym this afternoon instead...

OMG our roof started leaking last night!! Its so typical that just as i start feeling relaxed and happy with how things are going the bloody roof leaks, i just hope insurance will cover it DH seems to think it will.

    Well, enjoy your day xx

Tehehe about Shaun's pants Jodie. Darcy is still wearing a pair of 000 pants- now they're shorts lol.

Shazz I'm so proud of you!!!!

Oh no ELissa! Hope the insurance covers it. Such a shame about playgroup. There's always next week though. And you're very welcome.

Well the suit was a success I think - she slept from 8-6:30ish. But she only slept half hour this am. Now though, she did a poo while we were ut and of course I didn't have a nappy. She fell asleep on the way home, so I had to wake her up. Well she didn't wake up, I changed her pants and put her into bed and she's still sleeping- not bad for a kid who used to wake up when you stopped the car.

I also have to tell someone who'll appreciate her new game. She has a baby CPK that she drags everywhere and if you say to her "baby needs a sleep now" she cuddles it, pats it's bottom and rocks, it's SO sweet. She also knows how to give it a bottle when you tell her it's hungry. We've never shown her these things either, she's just mimicking what we do. Oh she makes me smile.

    Hi girls!

Just poppin in quickly before dinner.

Things are going ok. Briley is walking heaps on her own now. She is getting braver and braver!! Its so awesome to watch. Still no new teeth. But as i always say...i suspect some are on their way.

Briley is also really starting too mimic what you say. She tries to say heaps of stuff. I can't think right now ( i am so dumb at the moment!!) of the new words she can say but she is slowing learning.

As for me, i am getting very sore and tired. Went to the hospital on wednesday for check-up and then too normal GP yesterday. Baby was breech both times. Seems to be the way lately. I am really feeling it cause of this. I have a lot of tenderness and pain at the top of my uterus and in and around my ribs. I really hurts sometimes. Only 10 more weeks!! Other than that i am ok. BP is fine. Still getting pains here and there but nothing regular like contractions.

Jodie - Glad d/s results came back well and that m/s is easing up! Bet its a relief.

Kim - OUCH!!! Maybe try a hot shower! Briley has been coming out in red patches on her cheeks the last couple of days too. I was worried she was having a reaction to something but she seems fine. Maybe its too do with the teeth...Have a ball tonight!!

Leanne - Fingers crossed for your dad. Hope he gets well soon.

Tania - Thats a bargain about the jewellery!! Good on you! Have fun on your holiday!!You seems to be doing a lot of travelling lately! Got a bug have you!!!

Hi to everyone else!! Sorry if i have forgotten you!!

Oh and before i forget (again!!...oops!)

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOPER AND LACHIE!!!

Ok, better go now! Hope you are all well!

I am honestly really not sure what has gotten into me… I am so productive its not funny. We had swimming lessons today and then did some errands and the grocery shopping. I’ve also managed to reorganize the rooms to fit all the toys in. I’ve cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed, mopped and dusted. I also fixed my kitchen chairs finally, the screws were falling out and all needed to be tightened and I polished all the chrome in my kitchen All of this whilst Em is home as well!!!!

Ellissa ~ I don’t really have the cash for clothes either lol. Thank god for tax time hehe! Buggar about the roof. I hope its covered by insurance and is fixed quickly for you.

Shazz ~ I am soooo jealous of you being at the gym you lucky thing!

Kim ~ I’m glad the suit was a success. That is just gorgeous of her mimicking you with the CPK. That would make my heart melt! Enjoy the scrap booking party! Em had red patches when he cut his last tooth as well.

Sara ~ Glad to hear things are going well pregnancy wise. That is so cute of Darcy mimicking what you say. I really need to work with Em a bit more on that stuff. He picks things up soooo quickly. All furry creatures are dogs and he can say woof woof as well LOL. So cute!

Well I'm off to go and pay some bills and get my finances up to date. I have a pinboard and inbox over flowing with crap that needs to be sorted through. Have a lovely night girls!

we have red cheeks here too. and they're dry. definately teething. I think we are also having a growth spurt, as from the 10 hours or so Katy was at CC today she slept for 5 1/2 hours straight. We are lucky if she normally sleeps for an hour. She loves it so much there she does not want to miss out on anything!

They phoned me at lunch after she had been asleep for 5 hours to ask if they should wake her. I suggested ah yeah.... I wanna get some sleep tonight. She's already in bed again tired as. Must be a combo of growing up, being Friday, teething and having a bit of a cold.

    Will do personals soon
Off to bed for this mother chickie.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYDEN!!!

    Morning Girls!

Feeling VERY sore today. I must have stretched a heap lastnight. All around my hips and belly are so sore. I did carry Briley around a bit yesterday so that could be it too. That'll teach me!

Briley is cruising around everywhere today. She is really adjusting to the walking. She is out in the yard with Brent's parents at the moment collecting the eggs and being harassed by the dogs! Our girl dog, Bindi, is very protective of her but in the "i want to be right up in your face" kinda way.

I also forgot to mention something lastnight. Briley has been doing something really odd lately (or maybe not odd, not sure!). When i am naked around her, she is trying to put my nipples in her mouth!! I was saying to Brent, i wonder if she can smell the colostrum or something. I have'nt been leaking much lately but if i squeeze my nipples it comes out. Do you think this would be right?? I wonder how she will be when she see's me b/f the new baby!

Tania - Oops! My mistake! Well i suppose you could still kinda call it a holiday cause Gran's are so good at doing heaps of stuff for you!! Hope you all have a great day today! Try not to cry too much.

Nat - Yeah Briley picks up things quickly too. My mum's man "friend" brought Briley this house thingy that came with all these coloured balls. Briley loves it! But i hold up the ball and say its colour too her. Its a good way for her to learn the colours too i suppose. We are not sure, but yesterday she picked up a red ball and it sounded like she said red. We are'nt 100% certain on this though! We'll just say she did!

Leanne - OMG!!! Katy must have been one tired little girl. The longest Briley has slept during the day is 4 1/2 hours and that was at FDC too. She also went to sleep at her normal bed time that night too. They must just go through really tired phases. Hope she is feeling ok today.

Hi to everyone else! Hope you are all well!

Well there is'nt too much planned for our weekend. I am umming and aaaghing about wether to go to a family members 60th tonight. I kinda want to go but i don't. I don't really want to put Briley out. I mean i know that i should'nt live my life around her too much but she gets fairly cranky if she does'nt go to bed when she needs too. I don't know what too do!

    Anyways...raving now!

    Might BBL!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYDEN

Tania ~Glad you got the email pic. Trust me your's will look better! The photo made mine look good hehe. Can't you see the icing and smarties falling down LOL?? Have you cried yet? I thought I would but I didn't. I hope you have a fantastic day today reminiscing.

Kim ~ Have a nice night tonight!

Leanne ~ OMG at Katy sleeping for 5 hours!! The most I've got Em to sleep during the day is 3!!!

Sara ~ Funny you mention balls and colours because that's what I want to work with next with Em lol. I know what you mean with going out with them. Sometimes if you're not really motivated to go out its just easier to stay home. I used to be able to go out with Em and he'd just stay up and not get cranky and then fall asleep on the way home. These days though he's quite feral by 8.30 so I need to have a quiet place to get him to sleep.

Well I just put Em down for a nap because he was grumpy and then we're going clothes shopping :dance. I have dishes to do and the washing to bring in as well but otherwise the house is clean Am I just sickening you with how devstatingly organized I am. Because I am sickening me pmsl! In fact I might end up reading uni work until Em wakes up at this rate

kim - woo hoo! gotta love those suits. Darcy sounds so cute with her doll

nat - can you come round to my place!!!!! i wish i had your energy and motivation i feel proud when i manage to just vaccuum let alone polish bloody chrome!

rang the insurance company and they reckon the ceiling is covered but if the leak is becaue of a cracked tile on roof they wont replace the tile but we have tiles in the shed so thaat doesn't matter. luckily is hasn't rained since the first leak. Sounds like our money will be through early next week which makes me really happy cause that means we get to go away for my birthday next weekend. Last birthday my darling little baby was having his operation, so i think i will get a bit emotional this year!

Archie has started saying "what is it?' and "there it is!" well his mumbled version of it anyway, oh he's growing up fast.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORGEOUS BOY JAYDEN (we miss you)

Thanks for all our birthday wishes everyone. Lachlan had his party last Saturday, and he had a fab time. Our nextdoor neighbour has a jumping castle that we loaned and all the kids had so much fun. I made a birthday cake too. It was a slab iced in blue with cup cakes ontop in the form of a 1. Every second cupcake was an animal (think we had cat, elephant, frog, ladybug and a fish) and every other second one I wrote the letter 1 on it. It was very bright and colourful, thought it was hopeless at first but everyone said I did a great job. I even made his cupcakes on rice milk seeing as he is still Cows Milk Protein Intolerant.

Anyway he started walking on his birthday party, just a couple of steps, and then leading up to Wednesday a day after his birthday he took at least 20 steps. So he had been building up all week. Gosh I really thought I had another month yet! Not to be......

He sees the CHN on Tuesday and then I think vaccinations are the following Wed.

So I will have all his stats this week coming, but up until a few weeks ago he was still a tiny 8.24kgs, but he has done so well lately that he might have even broken the 8.5kg barrier. Either way he is very healthy looking these days, but everyone keeps saying he looks too tiny to walk.

Who else's bubs are walking and wish they weren't, am I not normal hehe.

Oh and I forgot to mention, we are trying for another baby, I have decided, bugger it, i am not getting any younger and if I leave it later then Sept/Oct, my baby will be in the next year of schooling again, and the aim is to get my kids off my hands ASAP, so I can work the newsagency a bit better then I am atm, way too hard with this active active kid!

Hi to all the mummies and bubbies.
