WOW do I have a lot to catch up on.

Teaching prac last week was just fantastic. I really enjoyed it though it scared me slightly as I just got so far behind with housework and stuff. Though I’m sure if I was doing it all the time I’d get into routine. I missed Em way too much and for that reason I’m glad that its over. I’m not back to uni now till the end of July. Wish I could say that means I’m not busy LOL. I have an assignment to do before the end of June and then I will more then likely be moving house as well not to mention all the people I need to catch up with that I haven’t seen since my last uni break! But I love it and I’m really enjoying life at the moment.

Em is doing really well – lots of new words and he needs another hair cut already!!! I was going to grow his hair long but its so darn straight that it just grows like a mullet!!!! So maybe for the next hair cut we might go all spiky lol

Got a busy day tomorrow with a make up swimming lesson, shopping and dinner with friends. Then Thursday I’m seeing a friend off at the airport, Friday I am hosting a parents group here and then I’m working all weekend. And its my birthday on Saturday!! I can’t wait!! It does feel as though I haven’t started holidays yet though LOL. Maybe next week it might!

Christine ~ I am so so glad that tresillan worked for you and things have improved. I missed you while you were gone. I was based in the Japanese room which was good and bad. I got to see lots of grades and I’ve decided I prefer the JP. Which is kinda hard as my degree is a Primary and Middle one. Will have to see what happens…

Jodie ~ YAY for the Ebay stuff! I’m sooo jealous of the car bed! I really want to get something like that for Em! How cool would it be! Em has chicken nuggets and loves frankfurts but I too cook and freeze stuff so its nice and easy. Haha I caught Em eating cat food at a friends yesterday – mmm yummy NOT!!! OMG @ 5 computers!!! I just want one and a laptop LOL.

Vic ~ Where are you? I hope everything is okay! Thinking of you!

Kim ~ That is really selfish and inconsiderate of DH to do that with the food. Darcy sounds like she’s got sooo much character the little minx. I love hearing all the things she gets up to!

Ellissa ~ Whoo hoo for officially starting TTC #2!!! How exciting! I’m jealous! Em has just started saying ‘more’ as well. Very cute! I’m glad your home loan money came through finally. It must be nice to be able to talk about TTC here if you’re not telling anyone you are. Eeek at the cat ripping apart the rubbish bag!!! Emerson loves the TV – I too feel slightly guilty but I he does enjoy it. Laughs and dances and plays about. Only when he’s tired will he actually just sit and watch otherwise he’s dancing or playing with toys at the same time. I’m looking for a new company for my internet. My prices just went up – AAPT seem really good.

Sheree ~ You’ve been through so much since I’ve known you. You are such a strong person – I really admire you. There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I’m sure everything will turn out just fine. I hope Lachie is feeling better soon. Good luck with your appointments.

Tania ~ Look at Jayden in that photo! He is just gorgeous! I got your cake photos as well! – Did I reply, I can’t remember lol. I thought it was a fantastic cake anyway and way better then mine!

Leanne ~ I had a good look through Katy’s photos and she is just adorable! How is you MIL now? I hope Katy’s feeling better!

Shazz ~ Hope those computer issues are sorted promptly otherwise you’ll start having withdrawal symptoms LOL.

Sara ~ I hope that bubba turns! I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been feeling unwell. Whoo hoo for Briley’s new haircut!!!! I don’t know how you are coping with her there. She may do a lot for you but its hard when someone tries to overtake your role as a parent. How are things going? It is FREEZING here!

Hmm I need to book Em in for his shots!

Big beds… my cot converts into a bed so I think I will just use that until he gets big enough for a proper bed. No use wasting money on a new one – though a car one like Jodie has would be way cool LOL.

That is way too long and I just caught up on 4 pages of personals LOL.

Will be in more regularly to chat now YAY! Have a nice night girls! I’m off to pick up my boy.

Lovely to see you Nat. I'm glad prac went OK. have they talked much about the National Curriculum at uni ? I had my TARS (teacher assessment review something!) today and one of the questions the boss asked me was how I thought the Nat. curric would affect my teaching- having taught in NT I think it would be great to have the same starting age and curric. Australia wide. Sorry enough teacher talk.
Was all mentally prepared to take Riley for his needles this afternoon, dropped in via home to get DH and we checked the answering machine and there was a message to say cause of the blackouts on the weekend the vaccines had got too warm in the doctors surgery fridge so couldn't be used so now we have to wait til they get more in.
Tomorrow we have an excursion for K-2 to the Aquarium and Wildlife World, I am the organiser and there are 173 children and 29 adults going so I am a bit stressed! Hopefully the weather will be OK.
Jess had her 2nd cervical cancer vaccine today, she has a it of a fever and a really sore arm (it never ends this injection stuff LOL)
Riley isn't really saying many clear words yet except mum dad bub no ,he chats away in his own gibberish all the time though. He has started taking a couple of steps unaided so I think he isn't far off walking.
This has turned into a long post so I had better go.

Oh No Christine! Have to psych yourself up for another lot. I heard they were common side effects for Gardisil, hope she's feeling better soon.

Nat you'll wear youself out beofre too long lol. My goodness, better you than me you social butterfly!

I can't believe RYan's sick again Shazz!! I really hope it's not asthma for you guys.

We went up to Newcastle today to see the Pasher Bolker that's stuck on the beach there - quite a sight! There were thousands of people there and it's only maybe 15om from the beach iff that. It was low tide and you could actually see the bottom of the hull in soe spots. Don't know how they were keeping her afloat and upright.....

And then Darcy screamed for the last hour of the drive. Man she hates being in the car.

Wow Kim that must have been interesting, did you get lots of photos? Riley is my best traveller so far, we went to Lithgow on Sunday and he was awake and happy the whole 2 hour trip there, on the way home he slept for 1hr and just chatted for the other hour. Erin used to scream and scream- even as a tiny baby if we tried to go for a drive to put her to sleep she would just yell- once I drove half way to Arnhem land! (we lived in Darwin)
Our excursion went really well, Wildlife World was good but more for 6yrs plus not so much younger kids.

Nat - its fantastic to hear that you really enjoyed your prac, i really am im awe of how you seem to be juggling so many things and doing so well at it, well done! i wish Archie had enough hair for a haircut.

christine - you poor thing getting yourself all phsyched up, then having to postpone them! poor Jess too. Gad the excursion went well. Well done Riley on trying to walk.

We are also lucky here that we have a fantastic little traveller, still sleeps for at lleast 1 hour on a two and a half hour trip, very lucky, im sure we wont be this lucky next one!

We finally got around to getting some professional photos af Archie done this morning, he was really good lots of cheeky smiles, we get to pick the photos we want on Friday morning, can't wait. Got out new bed ensemble base delivered today, just a cheapie slat base, looking forward to sleeping on it tonight and i have it all to myself DH is on night shift! Also went a bought block-out curtains for Archies bedroom, hoping they help him sleep in particularly in Summer, they were cheap cause they were a poxy white colour, oh well, lucky i perfer functionality over presentability.

Can anyone recommend a digital still camera?? Ours broke down a few weeks ago, it was an HP one that we got free with our computer so it was nothing special. We would never use lots of special functions but i want something that will give me some good memories to keep. I was thinking around the $200 mark...what are your cameras like????

Very funny tonight DH and i were laying on the floor on our tummies watching telly and Arch was standing behind us playing, DH farted and we hear this fart noise straight after, Arch was imitating the fart noise!!! So funny, he has done it twice since when people have farted!

Looks like there are a few of us who have been MIA lately. I am finding it so hard to find time out for myself lately. I though once my Nan left I would have all the time in the world but no something always pops up!

Jayden had very bad nappy rash the past few days and a temp, although the rash looks bad still it doesn’t seem to be as painful and the temp has gone….my guess is more teeth on the way. Just like Adam, Jayden has 4 on top and 2 down the bottom. He is going great with his animal noises, he knows dog, horse, chicken, cow, snake, sheep(almost) and the cutest one is pig, he screws his nose up and blows out his nose. Although my cat constantly meows, Jayden hasn’t picked up that sound yet. He is also very much into hugging and kissing everything, I can tell him to kiss anything and he will go and do it.

Sheree: OMG, how scary for you!! Hope he is ok honey and give his a big kiss from Jayden and me!

Nat: That’s great you enjoyed your prac! OMG @ all that time off! Your life is certainly full and busy lifestyle isn’t it? There is always something going on hehe. I love that pic of Jayden too, it was taken on his 1st bday. I think you did reply to my email hehe I haven’t been on too much lately I can’t remember. Your too modest Nat, YOUR cake was fantastic!

Christine: How did you cope for excursion? OMG @ how many kids!!! I would have been stressed too. I got out of taking Jayden for his shots I got SIL#1 to do it when she was looking after him last week. Good Luck Riley…You’ll be ok!

Vic: Yay for Adam standing up for himself hehe. One of the guys at work just had a garage sale (he’s moving to Cairns) and he had a set of bunks, only slept in once he sold for $50!! If I had of known last week I could have got them for you. He sold lots of things practically new very cheap! Congrats at joining the gym!

Elissa: You will have to scan the professional pics and put on in your ticker so we can see! I love photos so much! We did a count on all our digital photo’s on the computer last night and we are up to over 14,500 that is over at least 6 yrs though. We have an SLR digital now but the one before was a Sony Cybershot which was pretty good (for its time). Not sure how much the current model would be though. Check out ebay or even go to Harvey Norman (or any retailer) then see what you can get then check ebay as you might get it heaps cheaper. We bought one for MIL on the weekend which was a Nikon but that was about $360.

We are also looking for racing car beds for Jayden….still unsure when we will put him into a bed though. SIL#5 may want the cot in Sept/Oct when her bub is born so Jayden will be 16/17mths old.

Does anyone remember my whinge about SIL#3 wanting to open a bank acc for Jayden? Not sure if I mentioned since but I had opened an acc for him myself but she still refuses to put money in that acc as I have access to it. I got so pi**ed off last night as she had to bring it up while everyone was at my house for my birthday, 10 seconds before my cake was being brought out!! First she said “You said you were going to take money out of his acc” I said “NO! You said I was going to take money out of his account, I said I can access his money” She said “what so I can’t give Jayden a present now?” and I said “yes, I can give you his acc #” Apparently she cracked it big time but I was too busy blowing out my candles hehe. Its not over yet I am sure. Chris wants me just to give her Jayden’s birth cert so she can do it. But you gotta wonder why she is so desperate to get his birth cert and open this acc when he already (now) has one. At least I have SIL#6 backing me up but she is the only one in the family! I have hidden both his BC’s so Chris won’t be able to find them and give them to her.

Anyway….sorry for those I missed, I would be here all night if I went back on all that I have missed!!

Jeeze Mareez.... one adult has to have access to the account! And it should be his parents. DO NOT let her do it. Tell her to open an account in her name and save it up for him if she wants to. How frustrating!

I got all of Em's hair cut off today Its so short... and cut into a mohawk!!! Too cute LOL.

Just a quick one. I'm off to bed - have to be up early to see my friend off at the ariport. I cannot wait till Monday when I have NO plans *sigh*

    Morning girls!

Well I am going to start of with personals today. So here goes!

Sheree – How scary!! I really hope lachie is ok now though. Did you enjoy the Dayspa??? I was going to do that when I was pregnant with Briley but did’nt get around too it. I was going to do it this time too until someone told me how much they cost!! I just wanted to treat myself to some pampering before the baby arrived! Hope the Dr’s went well for you.

Shazz – Poor Ryan! Have the Dr’s done any futher testing on why he is getting sick all the time?? Poor little bugger. How’s the computer coming along??? Are you nearly back? Hope you are well honey!

Leanne – Your Oma’s birthday sounded lovely. I bet she had a great time. Glad to hear your all thawed out from you trip to Canberra! I was watching the national weather the other day and Canberra was -1!!! I’ll stay up here with the 8 – 9 degrees thanks! Great to hear your MIL is doing ok. Fingers crossed the results come back as good!

Elissa – YAY @ your home loan coming through! Shame home loans are debts to be paid off for the next 25 years!!! Grrr at them putting it in the wrong account! Banks are so dumb sometimes.

I hear you on the roids!! I got them with Briley and they went away but now that I am preggers again and pretty much constipated all the time, they have come back! Not the most flattering things. They will go away in time.

Very funny about Archie making the farting noises!! Briley has been doing that for ages. Don’t know where she picked it up from though. Maybe Poppy!!!

Photos sound good! Email a few around if you can!

Kim – So you survived your torrential(sp??) down pour! The rain must have been good but also bad. Good for dam levels but bad for all the damage done. How terrible about that family who’s car went down with that bridge. That was really sad.

I would love to see that ship!! I saw a news footage of a man running along the beach in front of the ship and he looked like a tiny little ant. It must be HUGE!!

Darcy sounds like such a little crack up! Briley is really starting to make me laugh lately. She seems to such a happy little girl lately! Until Brent’s mum is around that is! GRRRR

Christine – Good luck with the needles!! I thought you would be used to that sort of thing by now. Maybe not. I thought I would be with Briley’s this time but as soon as I saw her getting really upset that was the end of me. Poor babies. Its all for a good cause though. Glad you had fun on the excursion!

Nat – You have been a VERY busy bee lately have’nt you. I suppose that would be me too if I was at uni still. Em’s haircut sound cute as!

Vic – Adam sounds like he is doing well. And sounds a lot like Briley. She is into everything. She goes from room to room pulling bits and pieces out of everywhere. She loves to pull all the stuff out of my hospital bad that I have packed! Cheeky bugger. Briley can’t crawl onto bed and lounges and things yet but I have been teaching her how too turn around and slide off backwards from the beds and the lounge. A bit of training for when “big bed” time comes too I suppose!

Brent and I both stare at Briley is awe when she walks around the house. Time just goes so quick its not funny!

Why not a wooden bed??? If you don’t mind me asking!

Jodie – That’s excellent about the money you scored from Ebay!!! I don’t really have anything to sell. Wish I did! A spare bit of cash would’nt hurt. How’s the house cleaning going?? Hope your feeling ok now. How many weeks are you now?? 15?? Time is going so quick!

Tania – That women needs to build a bridge!!! How pathetic. What does she think your going to go on a massive shopping spree with the money or something! Your Jayden’s mother for godsake! Why doesn’t she just buy a money box and keep it at her place and put the money is there if she is so worried! Or might that be too tempting for her to spend then!

Jayden sounds like he is talking like a trooper. Briley is too. She can say heaps of stuff now. She says Toast, Bird, Dogs, Bath and heaps of other stuff. She spins me out big time!!! Hope the rash cleared for Jayden.

    Are you still working???

Well I think that’s everyone! Sorry if I missed anyone. Hi to you!

As for me, I had another hospital visit yesterday. I have been getting terrible rib pain in my right side for about 3 weeks now. I just thought it was baby stretching out my ribs. It has been getting worse lately and yesterday I could barely breathe the pain was so bad. So I called the Birth Suite to ask what I can do to the relieve the pain. At first they told me to take some Panadol and use a hot pack but then they said come in. So I went in and they suspect that something might be wrong with my right kidney. Cause of where the pain is located. So they took blood and urine for testing and sent me home. Now I just have to wait and see.

My body is really not handling this pregnancy to well. My fault I suppose for having 2 pregnancies so close together.

Briley is good. She is cruising around the house and patio. Brent managed to finish the new patio fence the other day so now she can come in and out of the house as she pleases. We don’t have to worry about her sneaking off cause there are locked gates and all!!

Well its raining again up here which means we are in for another few days of freezing weather. Brent and his dad managed to go and get some wood for the fire before the rain set in too much. It had been nice and bearable up till today. When it rains as well as being winter its just freezing!

Ok not much else to tell I don’t think! This is a really big post again! Sorry girls!!

    Hope you are all well!

tania - jayden is clever for knowing all those animals, hope his nappy rash clears up for you, it feels like archie constantly has nappy rash when he wears disposables, one thing that seems to be helping atm is Gaia baby powder at every nappy change, and using moisturiser on tissues instead of wipes. Hope it clears up quickly for him. Sounds like an interesting SIL you have there, ggggrrrrrr to her!

Nat - Ems hair sounds gorgeous, would love to see a pic, you should make it your sig pic!

Shazz - sorry to hear you've still got sickies, hope it improves soon

Sara - sorry to hear you are having trouble with this pg, sounds like you are coping really well with everything though, fingers crossed the pain goes away today and it isn't a kidney problem. Good on Brent for fixing the pation , Briley must love the freedom.

Just got back from exhausting the bank card!! betts and Betts have buy one pair get 2nd pair free so i got DH 2 pairs of shoes, his are all falling apart, he is still in bed cause he worked last night so i reckon he'll be excited when he wakes up to new shoes. Just discovered that one of the many baby stores here sell modern cloth nappies so spent up on those too, naughty me, oh well wont get to spend money on anything again for a long time so might as well make the most of it. i think Archie has shot up again, he looks all tall and skinny all of the sudden probably why he spent so much of last week sleeping. he now has 7 teeth, 4 up top and 3 down bottom, though there could be more i never notice them til they are well and truly out of the gum, he seems to teeth constantly so i just pay no attention to which tooth is coming through next casue i figure they'll come through whether i know about them or not!

Hello to everyone else. I will endeavour to catch up on personals one of these days. Sara love the photo of yourself in the ticker. I think its a boy in there.
I am sick too (again) headache all day and I can't shake it. Think it might be hormonal. My DH has suggested going off the pill and being pregnant, thinks it will fix it all. Men are funny aren't they. Not ready for #2 yet. Still struggling with the PND.
    Have a good nite chickies.

Sara that sounds like what I had when I was pregnant - went into kidney failure later - watch out for it and drink your water. Yep she certainly has personality, and today the personality she chose was the cranky one. Oh well you get that when you aren't allowed outside.

    Oh Leanne and Shazz

Yay Vic that's exciting! I'm a member of Fernwood. It's much nicer than any gym I have been a member of in the past. ILs are exactly the same as yours - odd.

Go Girl Elissa!! You spend when you can. We're so tight atm that when I can my heart's just not in it.

Tania - they suck! Don't you dare give up that BC lol Listen to me. I have awful ILs too - UNITE! I understand. oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Cool a mohawk Nat. DH used to have one of those when he worked plain clothes.

Well I'm having a crappy day. Fighting with the bank and Esanda over a payment and fees that aren't our fault. Looks like we'll be closing our police accounts and going with a regular bank - less hassles better service. Darcy has cried all day letting me do nothing and I've got AF again after only 2 weeks - just when I thought things were working out and I was ovulating..........it can only get better, it can only get better....in out in out in out.

Oh Kim you poor thing. I almost forget what AF is like its been so long! I never get it back until a month after I stop BF completely, even one feed a day is enough to keep it at bay (can you tell why I keep BF!!)
Nat- Does Em's mohawk stay up? Riley has his hair a bit longer on top and shorter at the sides but it needs gel to stand up.
Today has only just started but I am over it already LOL Erin woke up at 2am vomiting so I had to change her sheets and clean the carpet, Jess has tonsillitis and is on antibiotics and panadol cause her temp keeps going up and Riley is being clingy and whingy. I think I'd rather go to work LOL.

    Morning girls!

Having a massive breakdown here thismorning. But i will get to that in a minute.

Briley has another tooth! She finally got a top one. It has been threatening for ages now but never came through. Then yesterday i realised that she had been dribbling and spitting heaps the last few days so i just automatically stuck my finger in her mouth and felt it straight away. Ofcourse she won't let me see it!

Shazz - I can't believe Ryan has 12 teeth! Thats heaps!!! Briley must be a slow one hey. Hope your feeling better soon honey.

Leanne - Must be that time of the year hey. I thought i was getting sick cause i have had a snotty nose in the mornings but nothing has come about. Thank god! I don't think my body could handle being sick now. I hope your right and we are baking a boy here! Thats what we want!

Kim - Darcy must be an outdoor girl like Briley hey. She had to be cooped up inside all day yesterday too. Cause its raining it makes it really cold up here so i lock her in the house with the heaters and fire. I will have to try and rug her up a bit today for a while out there otherwise i think she will drive us crazy!

I hope its not too serious. My kidneys i mean. They have'nt called me back so i might give them a call today just too see what the results are. I have been drinking heaps of water though. What happened with yours??? What did it all start as??? Just rib pain like mine or somthing else?

Elissa - You sound like your having a ball doing all this shopping! Wish i could. I have to start worrying about how we are going to cover the house payment next week! Brent has'nt been working since he came home so there is no money. I will go into panic mode soon.

Christine - Sounds like you need to whip a batch of sweet corn and chicken soup!!! Great for the not-so-well!! Hope it all settles down for you soon!

Now for me. Ready for a massive vent here girls!

Got up and have to do the washing up. I am a serial rinser and Brent's mum is SOOOOO not! I have dropped that many hints that i want things rinsed. Then yesterday even said to her when she tried to leave a used bowl of weetbix (which stick really bad when they are dry!) on the sink to rinse her bowl please. So then thismorning i get up and she has tipped a mug that she has had a cuppa tea in and the left over tea is all over the sink bench.

So i've just had a massive arguement with Brent about how i am sick of her lazy sh*t. They have been here for over 2 months now and the plan before they moved in was they would be living out of the granny flat and NOT out of the house. Yet here we are. And ofcourse, Brent blames me. Aparently i would'nt be happy either way. I feel helpless. He does'nt care that i need my space. 2 months is a long time to share your smallish house with your mother in law!!

The second mothering is also getting worse. She tries to tell Brent not to do this and that with Briley. He sometimes stands up to her but mostly does'nt. I told him lastnight he needs to say something to her cause Briley needs to know who are her parents. She certainly does'nt need 2 sets!

Anyways, sorry for the bi*ch session girls. I have no-where else to go. Brent does'nt listen to what i have to say. And i am sure he feels caught between me and her. I don't want him to feel like that but there is a line and she is crossing it!

    Ok finished now! Sorry again!

    Have a great day!

Fair enough Sara, vent away. i don't know how you have stood it for this long. My dad sometimes tries to parent my kids and I have to step in and point out that I am their mother (and I am not exactly a child! even though he sometimes treats me like one) I don't think its dong your health or your marriage any good having them in the house, Brent needs to realise this but being a man he won't LOL
Your MIL should be sensitive enough to realise that 2 women in a small house is not going to work and since there is an alternative she should be moving out to the flat.
    Hope your day improves hon.
