So we should get AF around the same time, or should I say around the same time AF will be a no show hehe. I am not testing till after AF is due. AF is due 4th July, but I will test on 5th July if I can hold out that long. I pretty much know a few days before the 4th of July anyway if she is coming cause I get pre AF pains. But I know you can get pregnancy tests for before AF is due, not sure the time frame before thou.
argh well there you go if you have 21 cycle days it will have to be a adjustment in fertility friend cause if you still O around CD 14 your luteal phase is short which in some cases can be a problem i would highly suggest to chart for the remainder of this cycle all the while giving your selves a good chance ( lol Refer to above post and NO Cam hasn't paid me still waiting on the cheque lol )
AF is due this Sunday so the 1st. I have some tests that reckon they can detect at 7dpo so maybe I'll give one a whirl on Friday....or wait until Sunday if I can bare it. God I can't believe how desperate I'm getting even though i'm trying to chill about it....
ETA our cheque acct's all but dry sorry Shazz :D
Hehe Kim, it happens to the best of us, if you are cd12 today isn't cd21 on 3rd July? Anyway gl.
Vic - god if only Lachlan ate half that variety, fussy kid.
We had a bad day of eating today. What I mentioned yesterday we were lucky to get half into him today! I got a break and he carried on at Daddy for a change...........
All this talk of AF and TTC and O days etc is making me clucky.
But not quite ready yet......
Took over two 1/2 years to 'make' Kaitlyn, so maybe I should start thinking about it.
Wow it all sounds so scientific! I am with Jodie and Vic we just dtd, Riley was my most technical cause I was trying for a boy so I roughly worked out when O would be and waited until there was CM and dtd then (and fell that month)
 course it is Sheree, good thing i can count!
Oh Vic  what does he have instead of a bottle?
lol i envy all you lucky gals for being able to not have to think of such things but out of 3 kids i have 2 clomid babies with charting for over 3 years and last one IVF baby and charted as well just so i knew my body was doing the right thing charting isn't a miracle cure for infertility but more of a tool to help you to were you want to be... ultimately pg
Kim ~ wishing you the very best of luck for when you do decide to test
Vic ~ i wish ryan would give up his bottle but he won't have a bar of a cup just yet
Nah I know Shazz, just nice to have a bit of control IYKWIM?
If I decide to wean, do I need to replace each feed with something? Not real keen to go to a bottle at this stage...
Shazz there are definitely people that have been through sheer hell conceiving, like you. I don't envy what you have been through, must have been hard. Mwah
Kim - yeah I don't think they recommend a bottle at this late stage, probably a sippy cup!
I am getting a bladder infection from all this god dam BD, not happy jam! It is sooo painful! I have the urge to wee constantly and when I go I twickle twickle - feel relief and then I am back to square one again. Use to get these all the time when I was younger, they are soooo painful.
Do you think the doctor would give me antibiotics if I could possibly be pregnant? (well a possibly of trying means possibility of baby - but unlikely hehe)
Sheree: Oh no…..Wasn’t Lachie going good with his eating for a while there? After reading through some of the posts and seeing what Jayden is doing, maybe it’s a bit of a phase with this age group?? Lachie is obviously a bit worse than the others for some reason. Jayden is refusing food then the next day he will eat the same thing and like it or he will eat for Chris and not for me.
Elissa: Archie definitely eats well! You can whinge away all you like. Trust in yourself….If Archie needed a cuddle who would he go to? He’d pick you…..He is alive and well so that makes you a great Mum! Try not to worry what your “friend” says….what makes her such a great Mum and know everything? I have a friend that did the same thing when her baby was born (and before actually hehe) Its all about her and her family…..She knows best because she did it first.
Jodie: I let Jayden have a spoon and feed himself one night. I had already given him his dinner and we were having ours so I chopped it all up for him and let him go for it (not worrying about how much he actually got in his mouth). He did pretty well and had a ball doing it but it was from head to toe and all around….I haven’t done it since because of the mess haha. I can’t believe you are still vomiting! Poor you! It must be a boy haha….The kicking will start soon. My SIL hired a Doppler, they are great! Not sure where she got it from but she is in QLD anyway.
Oops I better get back to work (home for lunch) I’ll finish off personals one of these days!
kim - i agree with jodie about the temping and charting for 13 months i did everything i possibly could to get pg and we were both geting really stressed that it wasn't working so we booked into the fertility place, stopped trying, went out on the grog and what do u know? got a positive test 2 weeks before the fertility appointment. So i say just DTD when you feel like it (which is usually O time as you naturally have the hormones at that time that make you want to DTD) and eventually it'll work. Having said that though i am first month ttc and i am obsessing about every little feeling in my body and wondering if im pg, it ridiculous how crazy we get when ttc!
tania - thank for your kind encouraging words, you are so right! up til i read what other bubs are eating(or not eating) i thought Arch was a bad eater!
vic - it must be hard seeing your baby grow out of all the baby things, there are certainly a lot of positives to it though. Does Adam sit up in a normal chair at the table now?! What a grown up! Probably casue he wants to be big like the other kids im guessing. How are you planning on approaching the whole dummy thing?? Just got rid of Archie's last bottle yesterday and thats fine but he still has to have 2 dummies at night or he can't sleep, took one dummy away and he woke continuously all night. I'm not sure whether to be tough and just take them away and let him be upset for a few days (he is extremely addicted to them!) or just leave them i his bed so that he can only have them at bedtime and let him grow out of them........its a tough one.
Bought a second hand dining table and chairs today so now we get to all eat at the table together, i think this will improve Archies eating. AF is due tomorrow so fingers crossed i start feeling really queasy instead, my cycle is all over the place a 5 weeks cycle is often normal for me so lucky me gets a 3WW, whooopeee!
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekends
I remember my mum took my brother's dummy away becasue she thought it was 'time' for it to go. He didn't sleep for a month and when she took him to the GP he told her to give his dummy back. He gave it up in his own time.
Kim ~ thats so funny... poor kid Nick still had a dummy at 3 and a half no biggy he only ever had it at home and one day he threw it out and told us he didn't want it and that was that ryan i reckon we will need a small detonator to detach it from his lips
Talking of dummies, Lachlan uses his bottle (I fill it with water) as a pacifier, it calms and relaxes him, I was concerned at first but he has fought me all his life too sleep, so now we are both getting some peace and quiet time. Sometimes he will go to sleep and sometimes he won't but I don't get him out of his cot for atleast an hour as a rule. He doesn't even drink much water out of it, I put him down twice a day with 180ml once for both sleeps and he will drink 30ml. But hey that is 30ml more then what he was getting before. He just loves his bottle / teat. If I take it away from him he screams. I have made a rule it is only for bed, otherwise he would walk around the house all day with it hangin out of his mouth.
Elissa, GL for tomorrow.
Tania, Hi honey, no we aren't very good at all here atm. Just a kid who hates food! That is my assumption, the little rat. Always had issues, they just continue!
I gave Lachlan yoghurt 2 nights ago and appeared no reaction. His poop was definitely soft, but I wouldn't call it dirreha. So bought some more today and he scoffed it. Now that is a food he definitely likes.
So the two foods he definitely doesn't resist is yoghurt and his rice snacks. That's it. Everything else he is really hot and cold with. More cold then hot mind you.
thats good that there was no reaction sheree Tyan Hates yoghurt i gave up trying him with it tonight i tried him with corn meat fritters he ate one and that was only because i was eating them too
Far out, for all you who have fussy kids - I have one with hollow legs - now don't think I'm bragging because I'm not. My DH was the lightest member of his family at 120kgs by some 20kgs (MIL and SIL included) - I'm so paranoid.
Darcy will even eat pizza with olives. The only thing she doesn't eat is icecream.
