22!! Ithought 14 was good lol. I'm so in the wrong job....Yep I think I can do the 5th if it's a lunch thing. I might be a bit late but we'll give it a go. I'm gonig to a Playschool Concert at Penrith Panthers in the morning with a GF and her bub. i'd like to go to the dinner too, but DH is doing anti terrorist stuff then so I probably won't be able to.
Leanne, are you home tomorrow arvie? I want to drop Katy's pressie around - 2 months late, but I've had it about 4 lol.

i have just started sometimes giving Archie a spoon when he eats, he knows which way to hold it and he knows what he is meant to do with it but hasn't got the motor skills to actually do it properly yet, i think it makes him feel grown up he loves it. i bought a new high chaisr today, we were given a prima pappa one when pg but the tray is really high and hard to reach (used to have to boost him up on a cushion) and i find it a pain to clean in the padded seat, so i just bought a really simple one and it is much more practical so i think that will help him eat with bowl and spoon caue he can actually reach properly.
Went to a friends house for dinner tonight, it was delicious, he made a stew with mashed parsnip, and extremely thick rich chocolate mousse (AF is about to show up so i loooooved it!).
i feel like my life atm is a constant battle against the dreaded nappy rash! its only very mild atm so thatas okay.

we only get 8 sick days and they acrue over the year...... I hate that new systm. I used to love it when it hit April (my work anniv) cause 8 would show their face again in my pay slip. Now it's like .018 a week or something. grr

I have Darcy's here too. I made something for her. Otherwise, you still not able to make it to the antenatal thingy. I think it's still on the 1st? Mark is on holidays soon, maybe you could come over for spag and meatballs again?
Nope have to work on the first due to DH's work commitments. Shame I really wanted to go. Haven't heard anything though.

Ryan has bearly any food also he prefers his bottles then grazes (sp) alll day and he is also a lover of cat food oh yum i haven't tried chicken nuggets yet to tell you the truth i haven't thought too so i will get some tomorrow

or he will pick off our plates but if we dish up what we are having into his own plate he refuses to touch it

he is a lot better tonight thank god it helps that dad is home it is amazing how much i rely on him

Hi Shazz, gee Ryan doesn't eat much either, but he is still having lots of bottles I guess.
I tried Lachlan on porride today, had a couple of tries and nope doesn't like that neither. I then sat on the floor while he kept walking by me and I cut off a slither of banana, so he had about 10 little bits of banana, so that aint bad! Farrrrrrrrrr.......... to busy this boy.
I really hope my next child eats, wouldn't it be nice!

Well we had mothers group here today - the place looks like a bomb hit it. Who cares....on my own again. Might try for an ealry night.

Well this is what I tried Lachlan with today. I really do think it is finger food these days provided he likes it of course.

gave him some of my anzac bar, ate a bit
Morning Tea
Banana (good, just had to slice off bits and put it into his mouth but he kept coming back for more - GOOD SIGN)
Lunch
Nuggets (yucko)
2 x pieces of bread pulled apart in bit (An absolute winner) Nothing on it
Ham stick (always a winner)
cheerio (ate a little bit)
Savory rice snacks (could eat these till the cows come home)
Afternoon Tea
Milk Arrowroot bickie (loves em of late)
Tea
Pumpkin, promite and creamed corn (most of the time this is a winner and I feed it to him)
Noodles (ate a little, not too bad)
sausage (ate 1/4)
1 x piece of bread again
1 x sml tub of yoghurt (yummo)
So not too bad, not the healthiest and he certainly knows what he likes!
Anyone got any more suggestions of finger foods cause if he likes it, it really is saving the stress of me feeding him and him not eating and always wastage.

Katy did it today and I thought she was so clever.
Sheree, Katy had the pot and gravy from KFC tonight and she loved it. Ate the whole tub. She's usually not fussed on chicken, but I hit a few bits in there and she did not know the wiser.
Another thing we tried today was the tinned two fruits. Hated the pear but loved the peach. I put it on a little fork and let her take it and eat it. We have not let her near her own bowl or spoon yet. Too too messy.

Sheree I just give darcy a little cup of cooked plain noodles. Usually macaroni. Some ends up on the floor, but she usually goes back later and eats it.

Steamed carrot is sweeter than other vegies I only do it until it's not a choke hazard.
Little tins of spagetti or baked beans - they're only the size of a babyfood jar so there's not much wastage if you open one.
Also hard cheese doesn't have lots of the allergy causing protein in it due to treatment and when it's heated it's further destroyed...will find the study....
Darcy likes to 'dip' guess she feels big. She loves vege dips with her rice crackers and today she wouldn't eat her nuggets without the mustard sauce I had - I thought she'd hate it but nope. lol dag.
She has also discovered where I'd hidden the milky ways....uhoh.
Yes, though it's few and far between Darcy definately will tell you when she's had enough or doesn't like your choice.
Heres a savoury recipe.
1 tinned creamed corn
empty that in a bowl, fill up the can with SR flour - tip that in the bowl
fill up the can again with grated chees - tip that in the bowl
Put in muffin tins (you can get thhose tiny ones - good for little hands) and cook in moderate oven until golden. DH and I love them.

Hope you've had a great weekend so far. yariv & I got stuck into the house renos. Nearly done. We've got to clean up a couple of big rooms (my office & his billiards room) - and clean up the garden (weeding, trimming bushes)... then we'll call the real estate agent!
