Sheree just read your last post then. There is something you can get over the counter but they wouldn't give it to me here coz Em was under 2 years old. My mum went in and got it and we used it and it stopped his eyes getting worse but he needed prescription drops with antibiotics in it which we got the following day.

Kim Em did that suddenly on Saturday as well. He ended up having tonsilitis. Fine one hour and then suddenly spiked and wasn't well

So tempted to sit here and do nothing but I best get moving! *sigh*

    only just Sheree

yeah keep an eye on it Kim, especially particularly when u don't want her to convulse (when it peaks too high too quickly). They say panadol for fever and nurofen for pain.

Is Em ok now Nat? Lachlan had tonsillitis a couple of months ago now. I would never have known if we didn't go the hospital with his high temp.

Sheree- conjunctivitis can be treated in the early stages with saline on a cotton ball wiped from inner eye to outer. This is what my GP advised me to do.
Kim- tonsillitis, ear infection and bug that is going around can cause a temp in kids mine seemed to get them sometimes and then nothing would come of it but just keep the panadol in case.

Ok ta, did that before he went to bed, salty water wipe out, hopefully that does the trick.

I agree with Christine Kim, lachlan had tonsilitis and ear infection from a high temp. Hope she is ok.

Well when she fianlly woke, she just wanted to sit on my lap for half an hour. Wouldn't eat much, but wanted the muffins we made this afternoon, so I let her have what she wanted adn she ate 2 little ones. Really not herself and her hair went all straight (mum says mine does that - that's how she knows I'm not 'putting it on'). I let her get around with just a Tshirt on then we had a shower and her temp had returned to normal. Now a couple if hours later she seems fine.....ah who knows.....

Hope the conjunctivits clears up Sheree, it's really poo to have that.

    Morning girls!

Sheree, did you do another test thismorning???? From your signiture its looks as though you might be dead certain your preggers!!! Congrats mate!

Well I am feeling pretty damn good at the moment. I have been up cleaning since 7.30am and spring cleaned the whole house! Its lovely to see it so nice and clean. Until Brent comes home from work anyways!

Speaking of Brent, the phone rang at 9.30pm lastnight and it was a job place asking if he wanted to work tomorrow (today) at the Townsville airport as a Air Traffic Controller!!!! How funny. I did'nt think that just ANYONE could do that. I thought you would have had to have specific training. I am sure he would have had to do something. He will tell me all the details when he gets home no doubt.

Had a pretty good sleep lastnight. Did'nt have many pains at all and was pretty comfortable. Baby has been very quiet again thismorning but im sure this is cause i have been on the run. I have a bit of a sore back and hips from vacuming now though. I am going to have a nap when Briley decides she is ready for one.

Briley has gone off her food the last couple of days too. Yesterday she went for her sleep really late and woke up screaming an hour later. Her gums were obviously sore cause she was all red in the face and would'nt stop crying. So i got brent too tip her upside down so i could rub some bonjella on and i found her second top tooth had come through. The back one has broken right through now too.

Then thismorning she has woken up with a cough and her bad eye is all cacky. Brents mum had a cold the other day and kept picking Briley up and blowing her nose and stuff while she had Briley so i think this is why she is sick now.

Anyways, i am tired now and have'nt had brekky yet. Plus Briley needs a bath so I can go for a sleep!! He he!

Hope those sick babies are feeling better soon!

    BBL!

    Hi girls

Yes i am still here. As Shazz said i again thought my waters had broken thismorning. I started contracting pretty much straight after my loss so i really thought this was it. So i went in and they did a spec and found my water were'nt broken and my cervix was closed. I could'nt bloody believe it. The CTG was picking up my contractions however.

So i have been having contactions between 5-10 mins apart since about 12.30pm. I am exhausted. The contractions are'nt that strong but i am still really tired. I think all that cleaning thismorning has taken it out of me.

The hospital would'nt do anything. They just said come back when your contractions are about 2-3 mins apart and lasting longer than 40 seconds. I was sooo pi**ed. I just want this to be over and done with now.

After they did the spec i lost a fair bit of mucous which was really blood strained. I don't know wether this was because of the spec of wether it was a bloody show.

I am still getting regular contractions but they are only lasting about 30 seconds and are'nt really strong. I was thinking about doing a bit of nipple stimulation with the breast pump. I have heard you have to be careful with that though.

Well hopefully this is the start of it all. I pray to the heavens above that it is. I just want this baby out now!!

I will come back and post if anything changes.

Congrats again Sheree!!! I hope you have a smooth ride!!!
