Christine - I have added you ;)
Sara - That laugh sounds so cute! Best of luck with your application! And yay for starting your Doula course! That is so cute of Briley learning how to say Colby! Sometimes I still can't believe you've got another one! Time has gone so fast...
Sheree - I hope you enjoyed that drink mate! Glad to hear everything is alright with your sisters bub too. I can only imagine the panic she'd have felt.
Ellissa - Em just listens to my music lol. yummo at the chocolate biscuits!
Okay for those of you who don't have school age children and aren't working - what time do you get out of bed lol? I swear its a struggle for me to get out of bed before 8 unless I have a reason too ie uni or work etc. I really want to get up early because I feel like I waste the morning! I suppose I should try heading to bed earlier too rofl!
I pick up my keys today!!! Spewing though because its in an hour and Em just went to sleep  Oh well! The weather here is awful today! So windy and raining. You wouldn't believe it was 30 degrees just last week. I've got so much uni work to catch up on so I better get on to it!
xoxo

Been 35 degrees here lately, yucko hot! And it aint even summer....
So you are taking the place with the stairs Nat???
I am naughty Nat, I don't rise until at least 9am most mornings, but I do stay up till between 12pm and 2am most nights too. Lachlan is good most of the time, he wakes and just sucks on his bottle and I don't hear a peep generally. So don't feel bad. Wade came home at 9.30am this morning and I was still in bed, ooopsss..... But I did stay up till 2am doing some orders for the newsagency.
-
sheree - sorry old AF has shown up....have fun getting drunk!
sara - i will try and remember everything you posted.....how clever is Briley saying her sisters name and rhyming! It is so beautiful now that they are starting to be all affectionate, Archie is really snuggly too wraps his arms around your neck and rests his head on your shoulder, just beautiful, i dont think anything could make me feel as good as that does. Colby probably was laughing, how cute, and her trying to get Brents atentiona lready, wow, i cant believe its been 8 weeks already. i had a giggle imagining Briley dropping to her bum and bouncing around to the music lol! GL with the DOula course, i reckon you are right, everyone would be scared at the beginning, after a bit of study and an experience you will be fantstic im sure, if you've got the passion for it for 3/4 of the way there. Hope you get accepted into midwifery too.
nat - i jsut get out of bed whenever Archie wakes me up, usually between 7 and 9. the weather is awful isnt it, our fence along our driveway just completely blew over, typical just when we start to get some savings in the bank account something always comes up, never mind its just a fence.
We had a really yummy lunch today, got takeaway from a delicious Italian restaurant, Archie ate a huge bowl of fettucine, his nonna would be proud! Arch has ben very tired and sooky and cuddly today and i have gone through about 6 jumpers today alrady cause he has been dribbling so much, must be teeth.

after noon all big plans for the weekend anybody gees it hass been quite in here
-
Hi Shazz, yep we are going away to Mackay 3 hours away as a family. What tha.... hehe. Yeah we have organised a junior to open the shop on Sunday so that is the only we could do it. We leave Saturday straight after the shop closes and come back Sunday arvo. It is my mum's 50th Birthday so we are going to surprise her. I have such a young mum.
Elissa - wow a whole bowl. I am so envious of these kids that eat so well and without fuss. Is he a big boy? Yes the cuddles are to die for these days huh. I am finding lachlan is doing less and less cuddles atm, just way too busy again. But from my m/c till now yes he has given me the most beautiful cuddles. Gosh drooling that much huh. I found Lachlan drooled from 9-12 months with teeth and hasn't drooled at all since and he have got 3 more teef since then.
You will be proud of me, I didn't drink a drop last night! Yep you heard it didn't crack open the bottle at all. I had so many things to do and get done before we go away, hence being up till 2am. This god dam paperwork is never bloomey ending.
-
shazz - no fun weekend plans here, DH is working all night tonight and tomorrow night, then works the public holiday monday as well, good monet though. What are ur plans??
sheree - It is great having a toddler who will eat just about anything and in such large quantities, yeah is a big boy now. For the first 12 months of his life he was under the 50 centile but when i weighed and measuered him at 14 months he was over the 90 centile ont he charts, thats why he is such a guts i guess, when people pick him up they always struggle cause he doesn't look 14kgs! So much drool all the time is very anoying and produces plenty of washing, he has been a huge drooler since a couple of months old cause of reflux so im used to it, he has drooled a lot less in the last few months though. he was upset goig to bed tonight so i rubbed some sedalotion on his gums and he has gone to sleep. DO you reckon Lachlan could sense that you were needing the extra cuddles lately?? When i wasn't well a few weeks ago Archie was an angel to me, they are smart little things! Your weekend sounds awfully busy! Will be good to see your mum though wont it. My mum is young too i like it, we used tohit the town together on occasion, she was 22 when she had me.
Went to an Undercover Wear party at my sisters place last night, mum was really lovely and offered to babysit so i could go. I had a ball there and bought a cute pair of satin pjs for me and a penguin toy box/laundry hamper thingy for Arch's bedroom. they have so much nice stuff. Funny thing happened though i think i gave the Undercover Wear woman a lesson! She had a lady with her who was learning the ropes so i let them do my measurements as a practice for her. They told me i was a 16C, WTF, i am a 14F! She was adament that she had been doing this for many years and knew how to measure properly, i explained that i get professionally fitted for a bra every 6 months or so but she wouldn't believe my boobs were that big. So she hands me a 16C to try on (i am laughing as i type). I go and TRY to put this tiny bra on and yelled out to her to have a look, she came in and her jaw nearly hit the ground, she was speechless! the bra looked like one of those tiny bikini tops with the little triangle pieces that go over your nipples, i couldn't even get the straps over my shoulders. She absolutely couldn't believe how wrong she was, she told me i must be wearing a miracle bra cause no way did my boobs look that big when i was dressed. We all had a good laugh about it, but i reckon she'll think twice before she reccomends someone a bra size! Woohoo on my Triumph minimiser bra!!
-
no plans here till next week then watch out i am spring cleaning sounds like fun huh
-
No major plans for the weekend but just glad to be on school holidays!!! I am aiming to clean the house thoroughly and do heaps of culling of cr@p these hols but we'll see!! (i always start out with good intentions!)
Riley is a big eater too Elissa, he eats more than Erin! I desperately need new bras I am still wearing maternity ones and Riley stopped feeding a month ago, I don't think I can match you for size though LOL I get excited when I am an unpadded B cup LOL I think I need to get properly fitted cause its been ages since I have been and I have had a baby since then. Jess has all these gorgeous little bras but they are 10As so nowhere near fitting my fatness!!!
Erin and I are planning a trip to the movies while Riley is at FDC on Tuesday, we are trying to decide whether to see Ratatouille or Surfs Up (I can't wait to see a grown up movies one day LOL)
-
Elissa - I didn't realise drooling was from Reflux. Yeah my mum is young, she had me when she was 18. Can't say we are close though, but that is a whole different story, had quite a few issues with my family. Wow 14kgs and my boy is 9kgs, hehe that shows you how big an eater your boy is and how little an eater mine is. Too funny about the bra. Gosh and F hey, and I complain about being a D, they are annoying to me.
Christine - culling hey, wouldn't it be nice. Enjoy the movie.
Shazz - you wanna come and spring clean my house when you are finished LOL.

What would you do ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
we had a bit of an issue the last day of term where my DS took money to school instead of his lunch ( on DH ok Cause Dh wouldn't know if tuck shop was on or not any given week ) so any way i happen to do relief work at the shop across the road from the school it was lunch time and another mum from our classroom came in and said in a bit of a sarcastic way that she was there to to buy a hot dog and drink to feed my son cause i obvisously didn't care what he ate (wtf) so she told me that story of bringing money instead of food and i said he probably would have a packet of bickies or apple or something in his bag from yesterdays lunch and she brought his hot dog and left so when i got home there was 2 messages from the school so being the last day i thought i would go and pick the kids up early and found my DS very upset in the playground apparently the hot dog that was brought for him ( with his own money ) was put on the teachers table and he was told that because he lied about not having food he would have to wait to get his hotdog then they made him sit there to smell it (their words) after 25 mins which is the time allocated to eat they told him to eat the hot dog stone cold which my DS said made him feel sick in his tummy they laughed at him and made him eat it threatening him with not being allowed to do science experiments later in the day well he became hysterical because the hotdog was unetible (sp) he was crying and that is when they tried calling me (their words - we don't have to put up with that and we won't ) though they caused it in the first place if they had of called my mobile or his dads mobile we would have brought him lunch instead of this dispicable behaviour from grown ups - i'm not saying my Ds was in the right 100 percent but gees his is 9 for gosh sake my DH is so angry and i'm really dreading the start of the next term what would you do please any advice this is just an added stress i really don't need right now
and thanks if you got right though this well done
-
Far out Shazz thats awful, we have made kids lunch from stuff we have in the staffroom before when they haven't had lunch or we have rung their mum's mobiles or got them to share if they have a sibling at the school with lunch. I would double check exactly what they said to your son (not doubting him in any way but just be absolutely sure before you do anything) I would then write to the principal and tell him that you are prepared to take it further if you aren't satisfied. If you want to do something before term goes back i would write to your district office (not sure of your heirachy in QLD) I am appalled that other teachers would do this to a child, it makes me embarrassed to be a teacher.
-
I can't wait till things are back to normal and i can keep up with the posts!
Firstly.....Shazz: That is unbelievable behaviour from a teacher! I would be fuming and wouldn't be waiting until next term to do something. I agree with Christine though, double check what exactly was said!
I went for a fly in a Jabiru plane today, Chris works there and he went up a few weeks ago and felt really sick as the pilot (his mate) was doing hte final tests on the plane and has to stall and drop the plane at different speeds and angles etc.....well I told him he was weak and i wouldn't have such a weak stomach, so today i had to proove myself. We did a couple of barrel rolls, 2 stalls and flew along the coast...so close to the water i could have thrown a fishing line from the plane.....It was unbelievable fun, but i did feel a little sick toward the end (Shhh don't tell Chris). I took aerial shots of our new house, although I needed the bigger lens and took pics of the beach and parts of Bundy. Next time i go I'll take the other lens and get better shots though, maybe a vid cam to capture the barrel rolls haha. Some woman there offered to take Chris and Jayden up (her plane was a 4 seater, the one I was on was 2 seater)....Luckily Chris had the sense to say no! So Jayden played in the planes that were on the ground.
We may be able to move into our new house friday as long as the money goes through in time, we have been offically approved for our loan though and have signed the papers, so the house is definately 100% ours. Sara, I had another look at the square sinks on Thursday and yeah, not sure how they will go...they are very small (not that you need a big sink) but they definitely suit the house though. I am so in love with the kitchen....I am so excited about moving in!
I better go finish the washing.....all my excitment today I forgot all about it!
Sorry for the lack of posts yet again....I am thinking of you all!
xxxxxxx

OMG i can't believe i forgot to mention......
SIL#5 (the one that had a hard time falling PG, failed IVF attempts & egg donations etc) Had a healthy baby BOY on Wednesday weighing 7lb12oz, they said before he was born he will struggle to be 3kg. She is also the only sister to have a natural birth, so all my other SIL's who have had babies are very jealous. Mum and baby are doing well but struggling to feed ATM.
Also my friends baby that had fluid on the lungs at birth is doing really well, although he has already has conjuctivitis and a cold in his short 2 weeks of life. And my nephew in melb is doing well too (so i hear) who is also 2 weeks old now....too many babies! Hehe
-
Thanks Christine it is just so hard i don't want to do anything if he is going to be subjected to more bullying from the very people that are a supposed to protect him in my absence i did speak to the mum that brought the food from the shop and she has verified that what Ds told me was correct and then she said about 20 times that she was sorry cause if she had of said he may of had food from yesterday in his bag etc but then again i was the one who siad that to her so i feel quite guilty myself for Ds having to go through that i must say it was a hard lesson to learn i bet he'll never want tuck shop again
and ETA yay on the house Tania and your baver then i i don't think i 'll ever fly i'm a scaredy cat
-
What a crock SHazz! They're supposed to be teaching our children!? I'd complain to the state education dept! That made me so angry!!!!!
Yay Tania on your new house. I must have missed the photos....I couldn't have a look could I? I love flying too!
Christine, how's Erin's friend?
Nat how's the move going? I's Em better?
Jodie, not long to go now.....hope the move goes smoothly.
Sheree so glad to hear about your sister's bub.
Hi Vic, Leanne, Sara.
Anyone want to help me pack? I'm feeling hit by a truck (Shazz have a looky at my chart), and Cyclone Darcy is way overtired from all our social commitments recently. Add in the new bed which sha can get out of, but won't sleep in the cot and I'm massively sleep deprived again. Getting really nervous now as Cam gos Satuday....
-
Shazz: Good luck with happens with DS, what a terrible situation but you'll get through it (& DS will too). I thought I would be a bit scared, although I have never been scared of flying Jabiru's are a LOT smaller than what I have ever been on.
Kim: Good luck with the move! I'll be doing the same thing in a week or so....just not anywhere near as far! If you go to realestate.com.au and the property # is 104222019. Darcy will get used to her bed.....does she go to your room or just cry out? One of the kids at FDC has a gate on her door so they can keep her door open of a night to hear if she wakes up but also she can't roam around the house by herself while they are asleep. If Darcy just gets up and plays, least she won't wake you up and you know she will be safe in her room....in time she will learn to sleep through the night. When we get a bed for Jayden I think I will get a gate for his door, i know he won't stay in his room hehe.
OMG its 6pm already!! I better think about dinner! 2 posts in 2 days......I'm doing well LOL
-
good to hear from you Kim bugger i hope Darcy starts giving mum a break soon we are thinking about putting Ryan in a bed but he doesn't mind gioing to the cot he knows it is definately bed time
