Nothing happened overnight so looks like I'm being induced TONIGHT!! How scary, but exciting!
Christine: Def wasn't in the mood for DTD last night and Chris isn't interested now anyway cause I am too big. I thought of a bumpy ride but didn't know where to go. Thats ok though I guess, this time tomorrow I could be holding bubs in my arms!!
Far out DH was "interested" until the end!!! I know what you mean about not feeling like it though.
So will they do the gel tonight then drip tomorrow? I have only ever gone in in the morning and straight on a drip. Riley was induced and took 3 1/2 hrs from the 1st contraction!
Yep gels tonight, drip tomorrow I guess if needed. Not sure when they are breaking my waters, probably tomorrow if they haven't broken naturally. I'm hoping for a very quick labour, Jayden was 4hrs from being on the drip but I was already in labour and waters had broken etc. I don't know if they send me home after the gels....I have no idea how it works but it would be kinda nice to come home instead of waiting around at the hospital.

Try not to worry too much honey. I have have seen, first hand, good positive induction outcomes. Every woman is different. Every cervix is different. Every uterus is different.
Be ready and accepting to/for labour. Relax and let your body do what it was built to do. Keep your pelvic floor relaxed by keeping your jaw and face relaxed.
Looking forward to hearing your birth announcement honey.

Thanks for the advise Sara :)...I'll try my hardest to relax through it all but easier said than done. I made it through last time so really I have no doubt about this time either. OMG I can't believe Colby is already almost 1!!! Hope the house situation works out for you hun! :hug:

I was chatting to Nat on Facebook last night and she said she will let me know when she hears from Tania, so i will get straight on here as soon as i get a message, if someone else doesn't post on here first.
Went down to soend the afternoon with my mum today, was so great, haven't seen her in a few weeks. Told her we are ttc#2, she was SO thrilled, more excited than when we told her we were pregnant with Archie. Her first comment "we will be able to go pram shopping again!" LOL, her and I have this obsession with prams (she is way worse than me though), we didn't get to do any baby shopping together with Archie though cause we lived 5 hours away, so we will have a ball next time and make up for it!!

Argggh I am so annoyed. Lost my mobile while we were away, fell out of my pocket on the plane or in the airport. But nope, no-body handed it in. Majorly annoyed. Anyway got home this afternoon and have been wondering all weekend if Tania has had her baby or not! She obviously hasn't and is being induced 2nite from what I have read. GL Tania xoxo So yes basically I have no idea of knowing either now. Bloomey bummer.
Well Riley's circumcision and tongue tie went well. He even slept a 6 hour stretch for us that night. Just marvellous..... We went to a wedding the next day and he slept the whole time. Wedding started at 10.30and we didn't leave until 5.30pm. He was such a gem. Slept the entire time on the plane and home on the plane and our hour trip to and from Emerald. Gosh with Lachlan I always wondered if he was ever going to go to sleep and if he did always wondering how long I was going to get out of him. Such a different baby this one. Thank god!
Talk to you all 2morrow, I am pooped.
So annoyed about my mobile, just hope I find out about Tania somehow.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes! I will go through the birth story another time as I am typing 1 handed...Ashlea is gorgeous but she has scratched up her face real good! She is a night owl and loves to sleep during the day so I have been up all night with her. BF'ing is kinda going well, she was only feeding for short periods in hospital but plenty of wet & dirty nappies so all good but my milk is coming in already and its very hard to attach now.. we will get through it once it settles down. I got home yesterday morning and had visitors all day and night, I logged on last night but no time to post. I will get pics up asap.....going to have a sleep now and we are going out this arve.

Yup plan on thatt....though Cam has a cold and you'd think he is dying.....Darcy on the other hand is really unwell.....

kim - hope Darcy gets ove rit quickly, guys are so pathetic! Spent the night with family last night and their son has a terrible croup sounding cough, so we are all looking forward to getting that next week!

Archie is totally knackered, he didn't have a sleep yesterday then stayed up playing with his cousins til 11pm, looking forward to him having a huge sleep this arvo!! We spent ages last night reading baby name books, both agreed very easily on a girls name but its gonna be interesting agreeing on a boys name. Oh well we're not even up the duff yet LOL
Well done on the names ELissa...we are struggling. I don't want to think about any - just in case, but Cam is desperate. But then I feel guilty rehashing the last list because that baby never got a name.....stupid hormones.
Darcy has tonsillitis - again. Poor kid. SHe can't breath properly is as hot as hell and now refuses all medication. It's a struggle to get anything down....she's crying better go.
Kim, Riley has had another ear infection and had fevers for 3 days. I was actually glad to go to work and leave him with DH today he has been so whingy and clingy.

Archie spent the last few hours totally absorbed in whatever it was he was doing. He was concentrating so much and using his awesome imagination. He just pottered around the house with his toys we didn't hear from him for hours! Now he has gone straight off to sleep. Just said to Jay, remember when it would take literally hours to rock and sing him to sleep and we thought it would never end, now he just goes straight to sleep! Jay is getting extremely clucky now too, he keeps asking me when i am going off the pill, he just wants to start trying NOW.

Quick update on us. Still looking for a place. Was declined for 2 places. :( Although found another place that I really like.
Girls are good. Briley is going through major attitude issues lately but i guess that is because of everything that is going on.
Colby turns 1 tomorrow! Man how time flies! We probably wont do much. Just a bbq probably.
I am very sick at the moment. I have been feeling off for the last week and thought that I was pregnant! But 2 tests showed negative. Lastnight I was absolutely freezing but it was'nt cold. Finally at about midnight my fever broke and I was sweating like a racehorse!!
Sorry for the lack of personals. I do check in here often to see how you are all going.

sara - goodness me Colby's first year hasw absolutely flown y, it doesn't seem like many months ago that i was checking in here desperate to hear about the birth! Im sorry to hear that you are unwell, you must have freaked when you thought you were preggers again! Hope you get better quickly. Bugger about being knocked back for the houses, life ain't easy for the single mum, it really sucks cause no-one needs a house more than a mum and her kids, im sure you will find something soon though. Love your new ticker photo, its amazing how much Colby looks like you!
Archie took his nappy off this morning but hasn't had a wee or poo since so i am hoping he might do it in the potty, doubt it though
