Yay for Ryan, what a good boy.

yay for Jayden Tania, can't wait till I get Lachlan's bottle off him. Jayden is such a big boy. Wtg Jayden.

Yeah how do you feel Kim?

Well an update on the my sister the Bridezilla. She sent an email to the shop where she is buying the dresses from and asked if end of Jan09 is enuf time and she said yes. Mel then forwarded this email to me. She still hasn't spoken to me thou..... Oh well.....

I have dared it and put lachlan in jocks this morning Eeekkk.....

Riley has been really fussy to feed lately. Only feeding 4 times a day and even those times are a bit of struggle. I am not sure what is going on with him! Just so scared after everything we went thru with Lachlan.

He fed this morning for like 3mins on my right side and came off crying and wouldn't go back on. Then put him on my left with not as much drama but still not the best. He was on there for 2mins but was happy. Burped him and he did a big vomit! So confused what is up with him lately thou.... He is even not sleeping thru on only 4 feeds a day, I want my sleeping thru baby back!

Anyway I expressed off the excess in my boobs to drain them. I shouldn't have left the expressor on the lounge ooops.... Lachlan spilt it everywhere 120mls all in the lounge. How do I get this out????

I am really grumpy tonight. Does anyone else get grumpy when they have too much caffeine? I am just over everything tonight. Sick of working, sick of being sick, sick of being tired, sick of missing out on my baby girl's milestones.... sick of being overweight - sick of arguing with DH over stupid things, Just over it.

My SIL had a baby boy today. Their second. First is just two. I am so jealous I wish it was me :O(

And to top it off, I ran Katy a bath tonight and the water was muddy. What the? So there goes my idea of having a nice hot shower and washing my hair to make me feel better.

    Over it.

    Hi Girls!

Just poppin in to say hi!

The girls and I just got back from Rockhampton. We went down to see my family and just to escape the stuff going on in Townsville. I had a great time anyways.

The girls are pretty good. They caught gastro in the last couple of days and have really bad nappy rash but are gettin there. They are at their Dads house now till Monday.

Sorry for the lack of personals...Life as a single mum is very busy.

I will come back in on the weekend...

    Talk soon!

Welcome back Sara...Big for you hun!! Is this the first time the girls have gone to their dad's? Will Brent cope with the 2 of them on his own? Glad you had a good time in Rocky!

    Thanks hun.

Yeh Brent will be fine with the girls. His parents are still living with him so his mother helps out a lot. Nope not the first time either, they've been out to him a few times now. They go every fortnight.

Yeh I am glad Rocky turned out to be good to. It was just what I needed. I am going back down, without the girls, on the 28th of November for a 40th and to see someone I met while I was down this time. A man going through the same things as I am. Nothing serious. Just "good friends".

Thats good he has his parents there to help(well good for you so you know they are ok!).
Yay for you meeting someone....even if it is "just good friends" for now!

I changed J's nappy when we were at the shops today at 1.45pm, we didn't get home until after 5pm and chris changed him and he was dry so he went on the potty and did a huge wee and i put jocks on him and I dared for the 1st time to go out with him wearing jocks...just to PIL's and to get dinner, he went to the potty at PIL's twice and got home around 7pm with dry jocks!! I'm so proud of him!!

Man o Man my house is so messy. I have been working at it for three days, and there is still so much to be done. You don't realise how bad it is for ages and then all of a sudden it's staring at you in the face.
It does not help having cyclone Katy around either! he he he She's a classic but a real terror at the same time....
Back to it. Off to hang yet another load of washing :O)

leanne - yeah its not easy to try and do housework with a 2 year old helper! My house is atrocious, there are huge piles of dirty washing everywhere, toys strewn all over the place, rubbish all over the bench, the bathroom is hideous! I'm telling myself i will really get into it in the morning....

Well after a hard week and even though my head and eyes are sore from so much crying, I actually am feeling a little more confident this arvo.

I gave Riley a dreamfeed at 11pm last nite with no fuss, then he woke at 5am and fed him with no fuss. But his 9am feed didn't come off, neither did it at 11.30am (I attempted again - seeing as his 9am feed was bad). So I fed him at 3pm this arvo and no problems at all.

I rang my CHN this morning and she said straight away "reflux" - get him to the doc. She said she knew it was only a matter of time for us until I said I had had enuf. I have said a few things at times obviously but it was nothing we couldn't handle, but this past week has just been terrible and so so stressful.

So off we went to the doc at 1pm. Arrogant pig! Said to me all babies/children are different and he is never convinced it is reflux unless a very severe case like lachlan (my first son). He said I am using my past experiences get in the way. He offered no assurance or advice but did give me a script to try zantac as a trial only.

Gosh it is not like I want to go thru this or give my child meds but if it means we are both happy again..... gosh I sooo don't want to be here again, but I have no choice!

He asked me why I was crying and I looked at him and said well what do I do if he won't feed, got any suggestions. It is the stress of it! Which he obviously is oblivious too! See he was not worried as he is a big boy 6.5kgs, but he didn't even begin to think that his weight gain has been subsiding alot, didn't even ask! Just rude, but he is the only doctor in town.

I truely believe that people just don't understand unless they have been thru this. Yes my baby has been a good feeder till now hence his weight gains, but geez it is a mother's right to do what she can for her child in order for them not to go downhill. I feed him whilst asleep and during the night to keep the weight on.

A girl that works for us (which I truely adore), said but he is a healthy chubby baby (and she just kept repeating this - after me repeating but it is the refusal to feed that is just sooo hard). I know he has weight on him (luckily as Lachlan never did), but I don't want him too loose weight regardless. I just wish people would say nothing, esp when it sounds condesecending. I would like to see them in the same situation feed in feed out when your baby is in pain and crying and you can't no matter how hard you try get them to feed. I know if I had never been in this situation I would never understand the extent of the situation but I also wouldn't even try to begin to understand too and would just feel for the person.

Anyway after seeing the doc, it is confirmed he has no thrush/tongue tie is fine/no ear or throat problems.

I then walked across road to CHN. She gave me a big hug and told me I am doing nothing wrong. I asked her how often I should be feeding him and she gave me the confidence to feed him 5 hourly if it meant that we wouldn't fight and get so stressed and maybe he would have a really big feed and would have emptied the contents of his tummy from his last feed and we might have more success. I just needed to hear this from her. As it appears that is why we had a better feed at 3pm as his last decent feed was 5am. But geez that is a long time. Maybe I have been forcing feeds on him sooner then he wanted it. So hearing that is just what I needed and with her guidance we will get thru this.

Sorry for the vent and the all about us post. I will be trying very hard to get ontop of this and hope to chat to you girls soon with some good news. xoxo

    Need some more advice ladies....

    Tanning creams.

Well my Christmas party is in 4 weeks and I have bought a dress (don't usually do dresses) so my legs as you can imagine are porcelin white. Not a fan of solariums (do skin cancer cases at work... ) and spray tanning I am not too sure of either, so what is the best cream? Not the fake tan the ones that you put on and it gradually builds up a tan..... Don't want to look like an Oompaloompa all orange... IYKWIM
