Hey you guys, just catching up on posts....sorry i've been missing a bit....I am so tired at the moment.

Leanne, sorry to hear you aren't well at the moment.

Sara great to see you found a house. Best of luck with the move and the new start.

    Shazz, man you poor love.

    everyone else.

I have 3 weeks to go (yahoo), but a small person who is getting harder and harder to live with and IL troubles again! ....really looking forward to D-Day...who'd a thunk I'd ever say that again after last time?
I went through my bag with DH the other day. I made him sit down and see what was on the list so he knew what was needed. It's been ready since about 26 weeks, but he had to pack it by himself last time....and i don't want that again.

Poor buggar also had his Sergeant's exam today and he's rung me about 45 times to 'check up' on answers...I hate it when he does it cos he sounds so down when I tell him....hope he went alright. We had rain last night too...first time in months. Typical though we are supposed to lay grass tonight but becasue it was cyclonic last night they couldn't cut it and can't until Sunday night when DH goes back to work murphy's law I guess.

My trip to Mildura was great, however my Aunties babe was stubborn, and come out the day after I came home! I met her this weekend, she is so tiny and petite with heaps o black hair, my cluckiness was ot of control LOL!

Okay so our little man is 10 days old and now the next topic of discussion is to circumsise or not.

DH is, cause that's just what they did back then and he can't decide what he thinks is best, My brothers aren't so my mother is against.

I am so confused. I know there are time limits for this when they are so young, and how do you find a good doctor who will do the procedure if you want to go 'down that road'?

    Any thought's / comments??

So many things to think about...

    Sigh

Riley was done in hospital by my obs at 3 days old. I know there are a couple of paeds around here that do it too.
I have already been in trouble on a thread in BB for my opinion on this cause it went against a mods so I am not going into it too much here but we believed it was the right thing for our son. DH has been in the army and seen first hand what lack of water to wash with can do to uncirced guys, interstingly XH was navy and he said the same thing (he was on submarines so no water for showers)

At the end of the day its up to you and DH. Good luck deciding, its a minefield of strong opinions!!

Wow he sounds like a dream Leanne! Glad he likes his bed. I have some of Darcy's stuff that I cannot bare to get rid of, but I have been recently purging. i have a little neice though so it's easier. My sister can't afford stuff for her so all she wears are Darcy's clothes.
Surrogacy, well you guys know I can't have any more, but it's funny hown many of my close friends have volunteered for me. They all knew I wanted 4 and how heartbroken I was. I'm touched, but like Christine I don't know that I could ask someone to give up a child they had 'born' for me IYKWIM?
Circ, we've still not come to a conclusion and I really don't have an opinion either way - so we haven't done anything. Nate's at the age now where he could have a general to have it done, but after having assited in literally thousands....I dunno. If it helps in those thousands I've only ever done 2 that were deemed medically necessary.

Sara mate, enjoy your week off. Prac is always scary, but you will learn heaps. Keep an open mind. What they teach you isn't always what is practised.

That's so exciting about Jess Christine. Where is she going to do it?

I had whooping cough about 2 years ago Leanne, same thing I wasn't tested until after it had stopped being contagious so no time off either! I had 3 days of antibiotics for it, not sure what they would do for you re antibiotics but they were the WORST thing ever- they made me sicker than the whooping cough I wanted to die.
Sadly the cough lasts for months, I used Rikodeine cough medicine at night to stop it so everyone could sleep but again not sure if you can take it.

I have had two rounds of antibiotics given to me by a medical centre dr who said I had an upper respiratory tract infection. of course it did not work. My GP last night told me I should not really be taking it - that and the expectorant cough mixture prescribed which has caused havoc to my Blood glucose levels. I should have seen my GP of 20 years in the first place. Now I have to wait until Monday to get the results of this damn test. With having GD and being almost ready to pop etc I am so over it all. I just want to cry. If anything bad happens to my baby...........
