Good luck Danni at RCH - hopefully this will be a new start for you all.
Kass I was wondering if you'd be secretly sad if you got a bfn. But you are such a spring chicken and you have heaps of time to make lots of additions to your family!
I also had contact with Ash, she sent me this txt:
'Hey! I'm reading BB but cant reply as I'm logging in on my phone. I am completely in love living with Dave. Quick I know but so right for both of us. Blake is taking a few steps at a time now so he will be off and racing soon, his sleep is terrible and everything else like eating, changing him etc are hell! Please pass on to all the girls and a super congrats to tan! Hugs kisses and love to all'
Had to share, its so cute! Ash I'm so happy things are working out with Dave, he sounds great. Hope you can manage to get online at some stage soon!
Hello everyone else! Have a nice day!
-
Hi girls,
Super quick one here (yes I know again, LOL).
Kass - Hope Bella gets better and sleeps for you real soon.
Danni - Got everything crossed that RCH can help you with getting your gorgeous little man to sleep for you.
Tan- Are you hoping for a VBAC with this bubba?
Sangie - Thanks for the update on Ash.
Ash - Dave sounds fantastic and so happy that you guys are in love. Dave's are wonderful men (biased I know, LOL!). Good to hear that Blake is well. He is going to be off and running in no time at all.
Shell - Aren't these husband's of ours frustrating. You are doing a great job and I can't believe how you do it with three kids. I am struggling with one. You really are a supermum!!
A massive hello to everyone of us who I have missed yet again. I am so hopeless.
We are all going well here. Thankfully Olivia is starting to sleep through on the occassional night again. Hopefully it is the start of her getting back to her good sleeping habits of old. Some exciting news here. Olivia finally said her first word this morning. Surprise, surprise it was "DAD". It's so cute she is crawling/walking around furniture saying dad dad dad dad thinking she is so clever.
Anyway better dash and get us all ready for our day.
-
Awwww Ash - new love!! Congrats honey and enjoy - you deserve to be happy!
D - I really hope they can help you out on Friday babe, and you can feel like you are making some headway with Mason. You must be absolutely exhausted you poor love. :hugs:
Kass - :hugs: Sorry to hear about your BFN babe, must be hard if you really want it to happen and I know its glib but it will happen when the time is right honey.
:hello: to everyone!!
Im scared to post in case it all turns to pot but in the last few weeks we have made a little headway with sleeping at night. Ive cut all night feeds from 7-6, and we have both been getting up to settle her. Ive also cut her breastfeeds during the day, Ive felt like my milk just wasnt enough for her, maybe its changed taste with the pregnancy, plus I havent been able to express when Im at work so my supply definately dropped - anyway she now has 2 formula bottles a day (yes shes taking a BOTTLE!!! Shock horror!) and she absoluely loves it! She gets all grizzly and excited when she sees me get the bottle out, thats before I even make up the milk - once the milks in then its on for young and old!
I also at times give her about 100 mLs at night to top her up if Ive fed her and shes still grizzly before she goes to bed and she scoffs it in about 2 mins! Funny how you feel you have to justify it though to people - feels a bit strange but with being pg and her not putting on weight we felt it was the best thing for her.
So a combination of all this and some nights of hell - listening to her cry while we sat there patting her and saying ssshhhh for hours at a time, and now she will generally go from 7 until 5, 6 or 7! Yay! Touch wood but we are a bit excited and boy do I need the rest after 6 mths of constant night feeds and waking.
She has also started a tiny bit of chattering with her tongue out and making weird noises - thank goodness, Ive been a bit worried after my CHN appointment.
So anyway Id better get ready for work at 1130- have a great day and apologies for the mammoth selfish post today! I just had to share!

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been MIA lately. We're having massive family problems at the moment and its taking over life completely.
Glad to hear life is going so well for some (Tan, Ash, Dan, Lis) but sorry to hear others having problems (Danni, Kass, Michelle).
Izzy is taking a step or two on her own and standing on her own so I don't think it will be long before she's really off and racing. Fortunately she's back to sleeping through the night - probably taking pity on her poor stressed mummy. Ned is kicking up a storm and everything with her is going well.
Hope to get back on soon to catch up properly
-
Lulu sorry to hear that you guys are having some family issues, I hope its nothing too serious and can be sorted out soon. Yay for Izzy's first steps!
Tan how fabulous that miss Iz is sleeping better for you! FIngers crossed that it continues. Maybe she knows that mummy is cooking a baby brother or sister and needs her rest lol! Now that she has started chatting, watch out as soon she won't stop!! El talks all day every day non-stop lol! Hhhhmmm I wonder where she gets that from lol!!!!! ;)
Dan great to hear that you guys are doing well, how gorgeous that Livvy is saying 'dad'. They all say 'dad' first, I think its quite rude actually!!! :D
We are doing well. El is sleeping like a champ at the moment having 2 naps during the day and then 11-12 hours a night. Also she just doesn't stop talking!! She has added a few more words to her vocabulary - dog, duck and car. At the supermarket today she was saying 'dog' at the top of her lungs and I was saying to her 'Ellie there are no dogs here, what are you on about?'. But sure enough there was a guide dog and she spotted it before I did. Clever chickie made me laugh so much.
I'm heading to bed, hello to everyone else, hope you are all well. Have a nice weekend, weather is going to be nice here woo hoo!
-
Has been quiet in here lately!! Everyone has been busy with their littlies!! I went to work last night and came home this morning to a sick little boy:( He has a snotty nose and is a bit miserable, but on the up side he slept all night for DH!! What's up with that!! I am thinking it is the formula filling him up more than breastmilk maybe. Who knows, maybe he knows when I am there so uses me to go back to sleep. Anyway, I think he is going to be up all night cause he is having probs feeding and sucking his dummy cause of his blocked nose!! Anyway, nighty night!!!
Sorry for selfish post!!! Am so tired, only slept 2 hrs this morning after 12hr night shift so am a bit off with the fairies!! Will check back in tomorrow!! Ciao!
-
Ok so i now know y annabelle wasn't sleeping, she has a cold and dribbling a lot so another tooth ot teeth r on there way!!!
Last night she only woke twice so i got some much needed sleep, then this morning she came in2 bed with me at 7:30am and we slept till 10:00am!!!
Shell sorry 2 here ur lil man is sick maybe he is getting teeth???
Tan how good of iz 2 b letting her mummy sleep!

-
It is really quiet in here! Where is everyone!
Sarah is at sleep school- good luck honey bunny!!!
Shell - poor little Angus - you are really having a rough time at the moment aren't you :hugs: I hope you all get some relief soon.
Kass - Poor Bela - its so hard when they are miserable isn't it - I hope she is better now that her teeth are through!
Sangie - yay for El and her chattering!! So cute!! Im just glad Iz is making noise at all - there is no distinguishing what she is saying though!!!
:hello: everyone - sorry for the lack of personals - slack I know but there is housework to be done!!
I'm doing ok but I tell you what this morning sickness better get lost soon coz it really sucks! I forgot how gross it was to feel sick all the time and gag at everything vaguely yuck.
Righteo - summer is back for a few days so Im off to bring in 2 loads of washing and put the next 2 out while Izzy is napping! Have a great day all!
-
I'm here!!!!!
I've changed my work days to Tue/Wed so now have Mon free! But they have asked me to work an extra day and I first said 'no way' but then they gave me the option of doing the extra day from home. So I have said I will give it a go and I'm planning to do the extra work when Ellie is sleeping. Fingers crossed it will work out ok as the extra days pay every week would be great.
Tan I hope that yucky ms stops very soon, you poor thing I can't imagine how hard it would be when you also have a little one to take care of. Make sure you rest when Iz does ok?? Did you end up deciding on a hospital?
Shell I hope Angus isn't getting a cold :(
Kass good to know that there is a reason why Bella hasn't been sleeping, hopefully it will all be over soon and those teeth will pop through.
Ok gotta go catch up on some housework this afternoon, have work the next 2 days so nothing will get done then. See ya's :D
-
Lis - I hope the working from home works out for you. Its been a disaster for me, but that's because Iz decided that she will only sleep for 40 minutes at a time during the day. DH has taken her to his folks now so I can finally do some work - and I'm on BB - oops!
Tan - so sorry you've got MS. I know exactly how you feel so huge hugs and sympathy. I hope it eases up soon for you.
Michelle - your poor little man. Hopefully it will ease up soon - maybe he needs lots of mummy cuddles while mummy catches up on some sleep for herself!
Kass - sorry Bella's not been sleeping too well. Damn teeth. Maybe last night's better sleep was a sign of things to come.
Nothing really going on with us. My folks have just bought a house (yesterday) so they can move back up to Perth to be closer to us. All they need to do now is sell their house in the country - hopefully that won't take too long. Family stuff still a nightmare and unfortunately I think always will be. Still, beyond my control so trying not to worry about it too much.
Best news is that Iz is going to sleep a lot better at night at the moment (hope I'm not jinxing this). She was only going down if she was already dead asleep on DH or me. Started putting her in her cot awake and lying on the floor with my hand in the cot. Done it for a week now and she's sound asleep with almost no fuss at all within 20 minutes by 8.30 pm. Such a nice change to what its been lately.
Anyway, really better go and do some of that work I should be doing.
-
HELLOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I'm at my sister's having a sleep over so I thought I'd pop in and see how everyone was going!
Sounds like usual - the boys being naughty and the girls being good for the most part, so very jealous lol!
This will be a pretty selfish post, I'll just fill you in on how things are with us.
Blake is pretty much considered walking - He gets lazy and crawls sometimes and still falls on his butt on the odd occasion, but he walks to me, accross the room etc all the time! It's quite insane, he tries to run but his little legs aren't doing what his head wants just yet!!! His sleep is all over the place, he will sleep through or with one wake up one night, then up over 6 times the next, and our routine is exactly the same every night. Eating is a nightmare-he will only eat standing up and dancing around the dining table, never in a highchair. He screams and wriggles every nappy change or clothes change too, who knows why this is??? He bites and pulls hair too, thinking this may be an attention thing when I'm watching Lulu and him together.
Dave and I are going swimmingly! The L word has been dropped already and we're completely smitten. Between the 2 kids we don't get much rest or down/alone time, but when we do we make the most of it lol We're slowly getting the kids used to each other - Lulu is very much a daddy's girl and can get super jealous and possessive at a drop of a hat-but I'm firm and will not let her hit/push me or Blake - it's not on, and Dave is fine with that. If Blake is doing something he shouldn't be and I'm not around, he'll step in too. We're not trying to be the other kid's "new" parent, but we're just trying to breed consistency for both of them if that makes any sense whatsoever.
Scott has moved on, and is seeing a supposed mututal friend lol It's such a stuff around, long story short is that she is one of Scott's good friend's ex...now they're living together and she has a 2 year old son herself, so they're happy families too. I'm happy he's moved on, but it was kept from me for a month, whereas Scott met Dave the day we made it official. I just felt betrayed by the friend and so mad that my son was somewhere to where I thought he was!!!
Ok this post is massive, I need sleep!
Hope to catch up more soon,
Ash and Blake xoxo
-
well hello there Miss.Ashlee and Mr. Blake how nice of u 2 drop in :p
It's great 2 hear everything is going good 4 u and ur 2 men! I think we can all 4give u 4 having a life.
Just dont 4get us, yeah? ;)
-
theres a new album of bella in the gallery! :p
-
Oh Ash, good to hear from you and glad to hear you are so happy!!! You deserve it, I hope it all goes smoothly for you!!!! But you have to try and update in here more often and not leave us hanging hehe!!!
Kass, bella is so cute, the last photos are gorgeous!!!!
Well, we have had an interesting day. Took Angus to the Dr cause he has pretty much had diarhoea on and off for the last month. They want to do some poo tests, so had to scrape some out his nappy - gross!!!! They think it could be giardia, but anyway, should hopefully know in 3-5 days.
I had him weighed yesterday and he has dropped down to the 25th percentile on his wt so they are a bit concerned all the poos etc might be affecting him. He is 8.3kg, so has gone from a big boof to a slim little man. He also has a runny nose now to add to the dramas!!! He finally popped through a top tooth also, so has been a sad bubba!!
Anyway, what a huge selfish post, have to go feed the boy to see if he will have a nap!
hugs xx
-
l i hope he gets better reallt soon!
If u had of decribed runny poos and runny nose anyone would have said "teething!"
But it's good u took him 2 the docs. Now can u plz explain the thing they think it is? im a lil behind
-
OK, Kass FYI - this is some info I found!!! It is quite common in Nth QLD, especially with all the rain and flooding as of late!!
Giardia infection causes a disease called giardiasis. Giardiasis is marked by abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Other symptoms include nausea, vomiting, weight loss, fatigue, bloating, and flatulence. Symptoms typically last about two to six weeks
Giardia is typically ingested by accident. This often happens when an individual places something in his or her mouth that has come into contact with the fecal matter of an animal or human infected with the parasite.
Water is another frequent route of giardia infection. The parasite may be found in swimming pools, hot tubs, streams, ponds, rivers, and lakes that have been contaminated with feces or sewage.
So there you go. Need to take some more poo in tomorrow, then hopefully have some answers!!
-
WOW! never even heard of it!
Anybody can get if then, poor lil man. Hope he gets better soon and i hope the docs r wronge
Kepp us posted ;)
-
Yeah, I hope it is something else too, although if I just had an answer as to why he has constant diarhoea then that would be nice! Then we can try and resolve it. Anyway, just checking in to say :hello: to everyone. I am off to have a sleep while Angus is having one. Have to work tonight so need to sleep! Have sent DD over to my sisters for a play, so hopefully Angus will have a good sleep!!
-
Shell I hope little Angus gets sorted out soon, poor little guy. Lucky you collecting his poop lol
Hi Kass I'll check out Bella's new pics when I get a chance, how are you two going, is she sleeping better??
Yay Ash great to hear from you hun!!! Wow sounds like you will be chasing Blakey around soon, oh well at least it will keep you fit :cryinglaugh: So glad that things are working out with Dave, how exciting!!!!
Gotta go, I'm supposed to be working but clearly I'm getting distracted ;)
Ellie is with my mum and sister today, it is my sisters 21st birthday today and they are all going out for lunch. Ellie will love it, wish I was going :( Oh well, really, really, really must do work now - if anyone sees me posting anymore today please cyber slap my butt. Thanks! :p
-
Oh ANg, it sux when you are at work and everyone else is going out for luncehs and stuff hey. I hate that!! So not fair, especially when your bubba is going too...
Hey Kass, I just realised that Angus and Bella's birthdays are only a day apart!! I thought he was pretty much the youngest in here.
Well, still to catch a poo today yet!! He has done a few little ones that are soaking in the nappy and I can't get enough!! Sorry - TMI!!!!! Hopefully he will do one soon so we can get it off to pathology!!
-
POO BOY, POO!!!
yeah they r only a day part! what was ur labour like?
-
My labour was fantastic I spose as far as labours go!!! I was induced, so had my waters broken and synto put up, contractions pretty much straight up, all this at about 8am, started pushing juist after 10am, and had him 20 mins later:lol:
So I was pretty lucky!! Had great ob too, he was very encouraging and I found the pushing so much easier than the girls. With them I pushed for over an hour. Angus was the biggest also, but juist seemed easier!! (pre-stretched I spose )
-
Shell - I really hope Angus doesn't have giardia. I got it a few years back when I was in Bali and oh so not nice. Bad enough for a grown up but not good for a little man. And yay for poo collecting. The things mums have to do. I still laugh when I think back to when I had to get a wee sample from Izzy.
Lis - I hope your princess enjoyed her lunch with the girls. Good to see she's starting young on all the important things!
Ash - yay for you girl. So pleased to hear you're having a lovely time. I told you before, I'm living vicariously through you so keep the mushy stuff coming please :p
Hi to everyone else.
I've just unwrapped some cloth nappies I ordered for Ned. OMG they are soooooo cute. Tiny little flannel things that are covered in giraffes. I just need her little newborn bottie to put in them now! I've been washing Izzy's old clothes and the few (well, maybe more than a few!) new ones I've bought for Ned this week. I knew I had heaps of things for Izzy but until I went through and sorted sizes etc I had forgotten just how much she had. I had in my head I needed to get Ned some long sleeved bodysuits because Iz hadn't had enough. Of course she hadn't - she only had 19 of the blo*dy things!!! Thank God my DH takes no notice of this sort of stuff or I'd have a LOT of explaining to do.
We're off to the doctor tomorrow. Bit worried that Izzy might have an ear infection (thanks to Lis making me feel guilty for blaming it all on teething!) She's been pulling her ears a lot and just overbalances for no reason all of a sudden so I think there might be something going on. Hopefully I'm an overreacting mummy but best to get these things checked I think.
-
hey lulu yes best get that lil woman of ur's checked! ;)
how exciting ur sooooo close, is ur new lil girls name Ned? Is that short 4 anything?
Ill do more personals 2moz i need sleep i've just finished making chicken vegie pies 4 playgroups disco party 2moz!
I wasn't sure if the bubs could have pastry i no the big ones could i just didn't no at what age there allowed 2. So i made it out of wholemeal bread.
What a mummy i am making pies 4 playgroup God if u had of told me id b doing that now about 2 yrs ago id say ur NUTS :p
But couldn't b happier doing it. ;)
-
Lol Lulu I didn't mean to inflict more mummy guilt - but i do hope that your little miss doesn't have an ear infection. Ha ha at having 19 bodysuits! Don't worry you aren't the only one - Ellie has so many clothes, it is so ridiculous. But they are soooooo cute and I just can't resist buying them! We will be set if we ever have another girl that's for sure, although knowing me I will probably want to buy her just a few new things too ;) Ssshhh don't tell DH!
Shell praying that Angus does a nice big poop soon :cryinglaugh: But also praying that it isn't giardia and that he is feeling better soon
Kass what a super dooper mummy you are hun! Oooohhh I'd love some chicken vegie pies, maybe you could send some down! Enjoy play group disco party - sounds like fun! Its always great to get together with other mums and bubs.
Well better go, I'm off to the supermarket shortly as we seriously have no food left in the house. Have a lovely day all!
-
That's what I thought Lis - I'll just buy a few things for Ned so she has some new things of her own. Between me and my mum, she has at least 2 dozen new things!!! Her wardrobe is double doored and it and her 4 drawers are CHOCKAS - and that's just 0000s and 000s!! I am so bad - no self control at all.
Kass - No, Ned is not her permanent name. Who knows what that will be - every time I try to get DH talking about it he says "oh, its still months away". This kid will be nameless for days at this rate. We called Izzy "Ed" through pregnancy for a very long, sick and twisted reason. So, this pregnancy the baby is Ned for "Next Ed". If we were to have another one to try to get a boy (I think my DH will have to wait until I'm very, very drunk to get me to agree to that though), then that baby will be Ted (Third Ed). I'm a bit OCD, in case you hadn't noticed :p
I struggled to sleep last night - ended up getting out of bed and watching tv until 1am. Thank God Iz slept until 9.45 am so I could catch up. Off to the doctor soon - hopefully nothing but at the same time I sort of hope she does have an ear infection because it would explain why she's been the horribly grizzly little monster she's been over the last week. Obviously I don't really want her to be in pain, but it would be nice to have a reason for this latest behaviour because its not pleasant.
-
LOL Lulu so would number 4 be 'FED' :p
Good luck at the doctors, I totally understand why you hope there is a good reason for Iz being so unsettled.
-
Nah. No. 4 would be YHTBJEd (You have to be joking Ed). Not sure of the pronunciation for that one though and I'm sure I'd be happy to substitute the "joking" for something a tad stronger :p There is a woman in my belly buddies who is about to have her 7th child!!!! She's a braver woman than I am. I have no idea how I'm going to cope with 2, let alone 7.
Izzy's fine. Dr kept apologising that he couldn't tell me there was a problem until I finally managed to convince him that I actually was pleased there was nothing physically wrong with my daughter! Funny man. I'm guessing the grumpyness and clingyness is just another one of those phases we get to enjoy.
-
Lulu- Great 2 hear Izzy is perfectly healthy, she just loves her mummy and soon 2 b hear lil sis and doesn't want 2 b with out them
Sangie- Superduper no bored and need 2 cook 2 fill in some time yes! Actually i dont get much time anymore bella is getting stupid with this f@#$ing seperation s#&* Sorry 4 the vent but when i have it all day everyday it drives me insane!!! :wall::wall::wall::wall:
-
Hi again quickly...
Blake and Lulu got gastro, running on no sleep between them, feel like I'm going to faint!
Positive note, Dave and I have a room over on Stradbroke Island tomorrow night, all to ourselves...will be so good to just relax with just the 2 of us, maybe actually get to have a decent convo!
Hope all is well with your bubbas, hope Angus is ok Shell.
-
Hello everyone!!!!!
I have missed soooo much, when I logged on tonight, the last time I had logged on was March 1, how shocking is that!!! But I am so tired in the evenings, and really just want to either veg in front of the telly or go to bed.
Kass - Bella looks cheeky in those photos!! Separation anxietys sux don't it, I hate it, I am thankful hubby is here in the mornings when I am finishing getting ready for work otherwise Ethyn is screaming the house down big time!!
Ash - I am so glad that things are working out really well between you and Dave, hope you enjoy your weekend away :)
Lulu - Glad Iz is ok, nothing worse than bubs with an ear infection. Can't believe you are 32 weeks, man that time has flown, well for me, but probably not for you!!
Shelle - any news on the tests yet? Be nice to know what is upsetting Angus.
We have had some busy times lately, we had our first weekend home for a few weeks last weekend, so its nice to be at home for a change!!!
Ethyn was sick (again) a couple of weeks ago, had a high temp, so took him up the hospital because we were going away for the weekend I wanted to sort him out before we left. The stupid nurse said, well why didn't you just give him panadol??? She then went to the doc and told him that he really only had a high temp of 39.2, he said did you check his throat and she said no it was the only thing she didn't check. Turns out he had a throat infection!!! But he is all good now!!
He is crawling, sitting from crawling position, bouncing up and down, giving lovely open mouth kisses!!! and climbing up and getting into everything, he is definitely my cheeky little monkey!! but wouldn't have it any other way.
I must go, :bedtime:
A big hi to everyone else
And big kisses to all bubs!!
-
Just a quick update... I rang the Dr's yesterday to see if the pathology resilts were in, and apparently the cultures didn't grow anything (bacteria), so just have to wait for one more, hopefully be Monday. So still no answers but put it this way, by 1pm before he went down for a sleep he had 6 dirty nappies. And it is really mucousy and smelly. Anyway, who knows WTF is going on. His poor little bum is red and sore and he is cranky as. Ona plus side, I went out on the town last night, drank way toooo much, got home at almost 3am, and luckily ANgus slept all night until 6am!!!! YAY!!! What a good boy, fingers crossed he keeps it up!!! The 6am wake -up call was extremely hard, DH had left for work already, so I had to deal with it feeling very queezy and I still felt a bit tipsy!!! ANyway, feel better now, might go grab a nanna nap!!:asleep:
-
shell: yay he's sleeping that should help in him getting better! How do u go about leaving him with breast feeding and u drinking? Do u express or does he not have feeds in the time ur gone? I really hope the test come back as something very minor if anything at all, but something must b going on if he's pooing so much, poor lil bum is working over time!
Lee: sometimes u really have 2 persist in getting answers dont u, they put us mummies down 2 'paranoid' we no our bubs! Bella has slept well the last couple of night so hopefully she gets heself in2 a lil groov and stays that way! :p
-
Kass - He had a bottle before he went to bed cause I was already gone, then cause he slept throguh I didn't have to worry really. Just fed him as normal this morning and today. The alcohol level in your breastmilk is only the same as what yours is at the time. So I stopped drinking about 1ish, so was OK by the time he wanted a feed at 6am. If he had of woken when I got home would have just given him a bottle!
-
o ok so when u say bottle do u mean ebm or formula? just checking 2 c 4 for my own decision help me weigh things up ;)
-
He takes either!! If I have ebm will defrost that, but he will have fromula also! He is a good boy, will drink/eat whatever you give him!
Anyway girls, we are all up early getting ready to hit the water!! We are going out in our new boat today, DH is already out there (has been since 4am) running in the new motor, so we are heading dowm to join him soon! Not sure how Angus is going to go in the boat! Hopefully they will all be good and have fun!! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!!
-
Hey girls just a quick one here for me, will try to catch up over the next few days if I can. Sleep school was GREAT!!! Noah slept through all 4 nights, the first night all 4 others cried all night so I didn't get much sleep that night. One of the women had 2 children with her and one of them was sick and she knew it before arriving and now Noah is really sick and acting very miserable and is being far more difficult to settle to sleep. He went down at 7 and slept until 10 but wouldn't go down again until 12am, apparently he woke at 5am but went down right away and then slept until 7am. We didn't get a morning nap out of him because Juz put him down before he was tired and I tried settling him for an hour before getting him out of the cot. Hopefully he has a long afternoon nap to make up for it. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know what has been happening here and I will hopefully get around to catch up on personals between cleaning, working and settling a sick little boy
-
Hey girls!
Sarah glad that sleep school was great hun! But seriously, why take a sick child gggrrrrrr! Sorry that makes me so mad. Anyway hope Noah is feeling better soon.
Shell yay for going out in the boat, hope you all have a fantastic time today!
Ash hope you and Dave had a fabulous romantic evening, I'm so jealous lol!!
Kass hope that your little Miss is still sleeping well and being a good girl. I know what you mean about the clingyness, Ellie goes through these phases as well and it does drive you nuts.
Anyway hope everyone else is having a great weekend! It's labour day weekend here so both DH and myself have a holiday tomorrow woo hoo !!! We went to my sister's 21st party last night and Ellie had the time of her life. Little miss social butterfly was not at all clingy for a change and wanted to spend the night on the dance floor under the mirror ball  Well better go, take care all :)
-
:hello: everyone!!
Sangie - yay for the 21st! Sounds like you had a blast with your little social missy!!! Hope you enjoy the day off today too!
Sarah - so glad you went well at SS and it was so good to see you and Dani the other day! How did your first day at work go hun??
Shell - how are you going - is Angus any better hun? Are you still waiting for results?? How are the girls and work going?? How did you all go in the boat- sounds great hun and the photos on FB great!
Kass - how is Bella going!? I started expressing when I went back to work but was getting bugger all so now she has 2 booby feeds a day and 2 formula bottles and she loves them plus it gives me a break especially at the moment when Im feeling so cr@ppy.
Lee - Good to hear from you! Poor little Ethyn with a throat infection -that hospital experience sounds terrible :hugs: to yu all and Im glad he is all better. I know what you mean about having a weekend at home - its nice just to stay in and veg out at times isnt it!
Lulu - I can believe you are well and truly on the home stretch to meeting Ned hun!!! Are you feeling excited and organised? Its so different with number 2 isnt it! Im only 10 weeks in but things are so different this time around - still good but different!!
Ash - Sounds like you are going along fabulously hun! Good on you but boo hoo to gastro - poor little poppets. How old is Lulu again - i cant remember!
Hi to all Ive missed I dont have time to go much further back sorry! My DARLING husband went to his work wrap party last night ( movie wrap - he's been buliding sets for The Pacific - Band of Brothers) anyhoo - all you can drink beer wine and spirits meant that he ended up getting escorted out of the bar for throwing up and now I have pics of him lying on the steps of Flinders St station throwing up - what a charmer!!!! I cant believe it - so now he will be ratty all day and we won't do much even though its a public holiday and a scorcher here today!! Im ok but sick and tired of feeling sick and tired 100% of the day - ugh I just want the next few weeks to pass by quickly!
Izzy is finally saying bababababa and lalalalala - after all my stressing out she just popped out with it so thats a hge relief -now Im worried about what shes eating which isnt alot other than cheese or yoghurt - tis doing my head in thinking about what to give her every day!
Anyway - hope you all have a great Monday and will catch you all soon!
-
OK, will try and keep up and do quick personals while Angus is catching some Zzzzzz's!
Ash - Gastro, yuck! How are the kiddies going now? A few of my friends have had it too, hopefully it is a quick 24hr bug, but not fun nonetheless! How's everything working out with your ex DH and him having Blake etc. can't be fun.
Sarah - some people are so inconsiderate hey, I hate when I meet up with friends and their kids are sick. So do you have a new job? How is the business going?
Kass - did you get all my mumbo jumbo about bottles etc!!! Basically I BF, but when I am not there he is happy to have bottles of EBM/formula whatever!! He will only take the tommee tippee closer to nurture bottles though, what a boy, likes the most expensive bottles there is!!!
Lulu - OMG!! I never realised how close you are to having bubs! Are you getting excited? I was so anxious with no 2 & 3, because I didn't want to stay in hospital away from the others. But they all survived just fine and it was good bonding time for DH and them.
Lee - how is Ethyn now? My girls have both had the throat thing, eldest DD has gone back to school today after having a few days off.
Tan - what a husband!!!! I am lucky, my DH doesn't drink, so never have to worry about drunken antics!!! Hopefully you start to feel better soon too. MS is still so fresh in my mind, not keen on going there agin!!! Glad to hear Izzy has found her voice!!! And don't worry about the eating, Angus has been really fussy lately too and has been living on yoghurt also!! What sort of cheese do you give Izzy?
Hello to everyone else I have missed!!!!:hello:
Well, have to go back to the Dr's with Angus this arve. Not sure what is going on, all his poo came back clear. Which ius good, but shed no light on what is happening!!! So, will see what the Dr thinks now. I am so tired lately I can't seem to keep up with anything. Between school, kindy, work, swimming, cheerleading etc etc I am so physically/mentally drained.I think I might actually go lay on the couch while Angus is sleeping!
Take care everyone!
