Hope everyone is well. I am suffering minor morning sickness but I want to pig out on fast food and potato chips. I am putting on weight at an alarming rate. It doesn't help that I am trying to fill my face with food that has not passed my lips in 8 years. I keep falling asleep too, whether I am sitting up or laying down. The sheer exhaustion is killing me. I have done a ticker based on my LMP but I think I may feel the top of my uterus which would put me at 12 weeks or more. I hate the fact I have to wait until I get back to Oz to find out where I am at. We are getting some lovely weather here again after all the rain during the week. I will try to send the rain down that way with my powers of persuasion eh? ;)
Okay gotta dash, little man is trying to eat Pugsleys kibbles!!

Danni - I think that might be it. How sad. Our little babies are all growing up so fast. I look at Izzy next to Elena and can't believe how quickly my princess has grown and how incredible her development is. She really is a little miracle.
Kelly - I hope Luke is feeling better now. Seems like gastro has crossed the border! I managed to get undercover parking when I went out fortunately because it was bucketing down. How much are you working now?
Michelle - how's Angus today? I hope he's better so he can enjoy his birthday.
Sarah - its VERY frustrating waiting to find out how far along you are isn't it? I was amazed I was only just over 6 weeks when I went for my scan. I felt at least 10! And hey, don't fight the junk food cravings. I lived on junk food with both girls. Maybe that's the secret to my minimal weight gains??? I'd be the most popular woman on the planet I think if I could justify hot chips and chocolate as a great weight reduction diet.
Lis - how's the introduction of cow's milk going? If it works for Elena I might give Izzy a go (nothing like using your baby as a test dummy ;))
Hi to everybody else. Hope you're all enjoying your weekends. I had a great day yesterday. Elena had a terrible night on Friday and I ended up really distressed thinking she was suffering from the same problems as Izzy did - poor DH having to deal with a neurotic, blubbering wife at 3am! Anyway, she's back to being the most incredibly content baby in the world now so I think I might have just had a wagon wheel biscuit too many! Izzy spent yesterday with her gran and grandad while Elena and I had breakfast with friends and then a birthday lunch. She was such a good girl - slept and cuddled her way through the day without making a sound. She really is the easiest baby. I hope the perfect second baby trend continues for you Tan and Sarah - it makes life heaps easier!
DH is having to work this morning - was supposed to be only half an hour, but that was four hours ago!! Izzy and El are both sound asleep so I'd better go and read my book while I can
Danni - I still got my baby for 5 more days!! I am making the most of it.

Lee - I sobbed and sobbed when Olivia turned 1 and I was in major denial. I couldn't believe my little girl was already a year old. It just went and continues to go way to fast. Do you have a party planned?
Lulu - You are doing such an amazing job with your two girls. You are inspiring. So glad to hear that Elena is such a content little girl. I absolutely love your ticker photo. It makes me so incredibly clucky just looking at it. Your girls look gorgeous. How's your feeding going? Has Izzy settled down with Elena being home?

Kelly - How's your little man going? Getting over his bug? Olivia has thrown up over Dave so many times and never me. I'm training her well, LOL! I just can't handle her vomiting. Makes me gag whereas DH is fantastic and I'm the nurse. Gotta make you laugh that.
Sangie - I wish olivia's toy boxes blended in with our couches but they are hot pink princess ones so not much chance of that, LOL!! During the day my lounge/dining room looks like a disaster area but each night I tidy up and get ready for the next day. I too have accepted that toys will be everywhere and have stopped apologing when people came around. I have a kid so accept it or don't come around.
Well there isn't much happening around here. Livvy is getting over her cold and we have all settled into our new home at last although there is still quite a lot to be unpacked and sorted out. Time will fix that. She is pottering around the house for short distances. Don't think it will be too long before she off and running.
We went to the health nurse on Friday and Livvy is weighing in at 8.140kg, 73cm high and her head is 46cm. She is just such a petite little thing. But she looks healthy so that's all that matters to me. She is also yapping away all day and starting to add quite a few words to her vocablulary. Although mum really isn't a requent one :(.
Alright I had better go and spend some time with Dave as it's the first time we have both been home at the same time all week. Sometimes shift work is hard.

I am excited I just won a Swaddlebee!! Paid $14 and its nearly brand new!!
My boy is a boofa compared to everyone else!! He's 11.42kgs and 77cm tall That was at 11 months, getting him weighed again on Thursday when I get his 12 month injections, again another thing I am in denial about, I don't like taking him to get them he screams when he sees the needle!!
Ok must go now, have a kid climbing all over me and tea is nearly ready!!

Lulu I am so glad to hear you say that Elena is the easiest baby ever! My Elena was not so easy as you know so it gives me hope that #2 might be easier! We have started on some cows milk and so far it is going well, she has half/half at the moment.
Dan glad to hear that you guys are settled into your new place. Isn't it gorgeous when they start saying real words!
Sarah take care of yourself and hopefully that yucky tired phase passes soon. I can't wait to hear when you are due, you must be busting to find out!

Well, I am in complete deinal, my baby boy is one!!! We had a lovely day yesterday. Had his pirate party in the park at 3pm, and he had so much fun and got spoilt rotten! All the kiddies were dressed up and it was so cute! I have some photos I will put up on facebook later, and attempt some in the gallery here. I did a pirate cake, and we had pirate food etc, I think the kids and adults had fun! Glad he is over the vomiting - seems it is doing it's rounds all the way around our group here though. He is getting a snotty nose now though, but that I can cope with. I just hate vomit - like you Dan I am a nurse yet vomit is one thing that I can't handle!!!
Sarah - how are you feeling? I didn't realise you were back in Canada for so long. Hope your new bubs lets you enjoy yourself and you don't get too sick. Is Noah having fun?
Dan - So how is the ttc going? I found it so hard trying to fit in dtd and shift work and other kids etc. Was hard work!!! How is the new house? Must be exciting, I would love to move to a bigger house, but I tell myself we are lucky to have out own house the way the market is. Just lucky I spose we brought before the housing boom, cause we would never have afforded it now. One day we might do an extension, we have been doing the yard - pool etc, so hopefully we can staret saving again!!!
Lee - So Ethan is the lucky last hey! I was very sad yesterday! I actually sat and watched the clock when he was actually born and daid to DH - oh he was just born now, oh we were prob having our first bf now. He didn't get it!!! Thought I was a lunatic!!! Are you guys having a party?
Lulu- I am so glad that everything is going well now! I have to say my 2nd was an easy baby also. I loved having my 2 girls first cause they were easy going, got along (well most of the time!) and will hopefully stay best friends! I am close to my sister so I am glad my girls have eachother! Glad the BF is better this time also!
Tan - I can't believe your preg is over half way - OMG! How are you feeling? ARe you still working? I think it was you talking about toy boxes - I have those big plastic tubs (people use them as ice buckets) you can get them from big W. I rotate them from lounge for him to play, but we have a toy room also, but the girls stuff is a bit of a choke hazard so I only let him play in there if I am with him! So I just take a tub out each day for him to play with. I also have come to the realisation that with 3 kids there is always sh*t laying around. I just do the nightly pick up and wait for it to get trashed again the next day!!!
Lis - How is Elena going with the cows milk? Did you get your early night!!!
Kass- How was Annabelle's b'day? Hope she had a nice day! you have been quiet lately - hope all is OK.

Hello and Happy Birthday Angus!! I can't believe all our precious bubs (well nearly all our bubs) are one already!!! Just amazing, they're growing up sooo quickly!
Lulu - I still can't believe how fantastic you sound!! I don't know how you do it. Sounds like Elena is being one VERY good little girl for you!! I'm only working two days a week but it's amazing how it eats into the week - I don't seem to have time for anything!! Its great though, I'm loving it!!
Lee - Good luck with the needles!! Luke was VERY brave and only cried for a few seconds (it didn't help that he jumped backwards as the needles went in and then hit his head on the wall behind him!! I think Mummy was supposed to be holding him a bit tighter - oopps)!!
Dan - Hello!! Its so nice to be back!! Yeah, Luke is pretty good, although he had a runny nose again this morning, so I hope he's not getting another little cold.

Tan, seriously, the cake kept falling apart!!! Secret - lotsa skewers!!!! The table was on a lean, so the cake kept leaning sideways! Looked shipwrecked by the end! And yes, we all had a lovely day! Wish Angus's Bellybelly friends could have come!!
Shell sounds like the pirate party was a huge hit! I wish that I could have come along. So is everybody in your family feeling better hun??? Oh and yep I got my early night last night although it was interrupted at 5am by Elena, she is teething again and she always wakes up during the night just before the tooth pops through. I'm hoping it comes through this week.

Kelly lol at poor Luke hitting his head during his vaccination. I also didn't hold Ellie tight enough and she was squirming and almost pulled her arm back too...........thank god that is over with though!

Lis, yeah at least the vomiting has ended, but the snotty noses have started. Change of weather up here brings on all the head colds!! I can deal with a snotty nose though - just hate the vomits!!!
I will have to think of going to get Angus's vacs too I spose. Might give him a few weeks to pick up from being sick for so long. He has lost a fair bit of wt, and doesn't need to get sick again from needles!!!
