Aw Tan and Dan its wonderful to hear from you!!!!!
Tan-James seems asthough he's growing so quick! Love checking out your fb pics! I like your idea with the email groupy thing
Dan- Annabelle and I are sooooooooo close this is what Im scared to loose. Im still scared I cant believe how quick your pg is going!!!! Livvy sounds like she's getting better at speaking and growing up, big bed girl
I would not expect Lulu back after the way she was treated in another thread. They were absolutely appauling. I honestly don't think Lulu will be back.
Hey guys,
Ash, I'm so proud of Blake! That is so awesome. I'm not even gunna try with Mason until later in the year. Im toolazy
Dan, good to hear from you. Im also huge and get embarrassed when people ask how long to go. Trying to find a nice dress for my sister's engagement is proving to be impossible too!
Nope, Mason has decided to stay in my room.Ok Ok Ok, maybe it was ME who decided.
I will have both boys in my room. I have to admit I am happy about that now, but will wait and see how it works out.
So nope, no nursery set up for J. He will have the basinette for the first few months next to my bed, then we will put him in Masons cot, then move Mason into a big bed. Maybe then into their own rooms? Not sure yet! Depends if we can all fit or not
On Saturday I am finally picking up J's drawers which have arrived.I can't wait to go through all Mason's boxes of newborn clothes and unpack them all into the drawers. AND I get more space in the wardrobe! Yay
Hands up for a group email thingy however that would work!! I too am sick of the crap that goes on in this forum. I now just stay away from threads that have controversy, I don't read them and definitly don't post in them anymore.
Dan, I hear you on the budget thing, I don't get much money but for me, once I have it, I need to spend it. I would like to know how to stop that. If you are after cheapish floor to ceiling curtains, look at Ikea for the panel curtain system. They can attach at the wall or ceiling and the curtains are 300cm long and you can make them the length you need. I have floor to ceiling windows and I need curtains and they are what I am looking at, I think they are going to cost under $200 each window.
Kass I know what you mean about being worried about the bond after bub is born. My heart breaks everytime I am feeding X and Noah wants something from me and I have to say no. The look he gives me is heartbreaking. I try to give him as much attention as possible but X is so demanding of my time.
Tan, I hope Izzy is feeling better! I saw your pics of the zoo, James looks so big now!
Sangie, eeeks!!! Is it that time already? Not our babies I don't know what I am doing for Noahs b-day yet, it has just approached too quickly. Have fun at your scan tomorrow!
Well that is it for personals from me I am afraid, so much to do and so little time and energy. Does anyone use twitter? I think I might set up an account and see how it all works, I am a bit behind with things like that
Hmmm so Noah..... Loves cars, books, trains. He loves his new sandpit, I can hardly keep him indoors anymore. He is about 88cm tall and I am guessing maybe 11kg, I might weigh him later, he is very skinny anyway. He has a huge vocabulary and repeats everything we say. He has taken up saying sh*t when things go wrong, cool at things he likes and nup when saying no, you can tell I am his biggest influence Well that is all I have time for, X has just filled his pants which is an every 3 day occasion, so when it happens I have to bring out several wipes and a plastic sheet and new change of clothes
Lis-Yup I'm going to have a party but nothing spectacular...a few balloons, streamers, and some Cars plates, cups and hats. Can't wait to see how the NT scan goes, are you going to ask if they can see the sex??
Kas-It's really easy. Start putting Annabelle on the toilet a few times during the day, and encourage her and tell her she needs to go wee or poo in the toilet. If she's comfortable let hr sit for a while and suss it all out, she may do a wee first time and surprise you, or it may take a little while for her to understand what the word means. It may sound wierd, but if she watches you go to the loo you can tell and show her what you are doing so she has an idea. LOTS of praise is needed when she does anything in the toilet. Alot of people use pull ups but I found they didn't work, if Blake had anything nappy like on, he'd just wee in it for the sake of it. She will learn it's not comfortable to be wet. That's the first step really, once you've got her doing that I can go into more detail starting with underwear and knowing the signs etc. Hope that helps!!
Tan-Fudders omg so cute!!! Can I hire you to bake Blake a Cars cake and send it up? Or maybe too much of a logisitical nightmare?
Dan-I didn;t think Blake would be ready to start at 18 months but I'm a persistant little bugger and wanted him day trained by 2 lol looks like I'll hopefully have him fully trained by then yay! I cannot help you with a budget, I am fantastic at writing them, but shoocking at sticking to them. You sound like you're in a pretty comfy position though so just do what you're doing is my well educated advice lol For the record, my underwear are hot pink with black skulls lol
Danni-Not lazy at all, if you haven't started by June Blakey and I will show him how it's done!
Sarah-Omg Blake says sh*t all the time too now, and Lulu says crap...definitely my doing lol Blake loves all the same things, expecially disney cars...and cars in the street, cars on tv...obsessed! How's X doing?
I'd love to my Ash! I wish I could! but instead why don't you bake a regular rectangle cake, put some icing on it in white and black like a road and stick a few toy cars over the top! Done!
