Hi Everyone!
OK where do i start! I have been absent this week just trying to get this house organised and washing etc etc..
Lulu - can't wait till Friday!! How exciting! Hope your MS gets better. That is the only reason that would turn me off having another bub is the MS!! Fingers crossed for you!
Ash - how is the expressing and BF going?? Hope Blake gets the hang of it and those BB's get milking again!!
Tan-Hope Izzy is getting over her snuffles. Is so hard to kow what to dress them in for the weather hey. It starts off cool here but by lunch it is 28-30degrees! So then I have the aircon on in his bedroom!!
Kelly-yeah I would get Luke checked, maybe it is hayfever! I have heaps of allergies and get hayfever all the time and it does suck! Thank God none of the kids look like they suffer yet! Hope his feeding gets better for you also.
Dan - I hope Olivia is getting back in a routine for you! I am so slack at getting Angus weighed, I hope Olivia starts putting on some more weight for you!
Sarah-How is Noah's boy bits! Hope they are getting better! Once the ring is off I found it got better really quick and I wasn't scared to wash it and stuff! Hope you are feeling better also (and I'm sure beer does count as fluids!!)
Kristen - Do you believe I just ordered some MCN from Tania a few weeks ago! I just thought I would give it a go and use them around the house! I got baby beehinds and an AIO (not sure of brand is blue with circus animals on it!) I got a monkey doodlez as well but have that ready to send back as it is too small! So if you see a return come in that is a blue mokey ddodlez that is me!! I just need the next size! I got a few brands to see how they went. I love the baby beehinds but I forgot to get a cover so will get one with my exchange also! They are so absorbant I was very surprised! You only need to change as often as a sposie, unless they dirty of course! And they are so cute. I think I am hooked, just have to get some more now when I have the spare cash! What brands do you like and use?? There are so many dif brands I am still confused by them all!!
Aniejade- No Angus has not started solids yet! I am holding him off till 6mths, he is happy with BB's at the moment so we are just waiting, and I agree I want him to be my baby not eating solids already!! Where have the last 3 mths gone... No signs of teeth yet either, although the girls got their first teeth at 4 mths so maybe they will appear around then as well. He is a big dribbler and spitter! I have to put bibs on him cause he blows raspberries and gets drenched down the fron with spit!! Is really gross, but his sisters thinks it is hilarious!!
Anyway, I better go! Have to get Shayleigh ready for school, and Joey has swimming at 10am also. Today is out busy day! Might have to go shopping also I think! I just brought a Phil & Teds pram (Lulu you might need one of these for your 2 bubs!). My 3 yr old just didn't want to walk when we were out so I thought what the hell and brought one!! Mine is on order and the shop gave me one to loan and try out!! How great is that! So we have been practising shopping in it haha! Have to say it is a great pram and worth every cent! Now I have to seel my other pram that is only 4 mths old! Anyway, better get evryone organised!
Take Care,
*Michelle*

Kristen-You work at Darlings Downunder? Omg I spent about 2 hours browsing yesterday, I even sent an email but no reply as yet. Can you be my nappy advisor, I need a little help, and mates rates are always good yeh? lol
I'll be back later for personals, I'm another one hoping to jump on the MCN bandwagon and couldn't keep my mouth shut lol
-
:crying: I either have mastitis or blocked ducts again. I feel like $hit..Im so depressed...this is CRAP!
Mason was so unsettled last night all I could do was cry, and he got up at 6am even after going to bed so late :(
Thank GOD I am going to brisbane tomorrow...with or without a huge bowling ball on my chest!!!
-
Michelle - Yay for you! What great choices!! Yeah, you need covers with the BBHs but Davina has brought out some nice PUL coloured covers now so it's not just the boring cream ones. That said, you don't need to havea BBH cover with the fitted BBH either - lots of other lovely choices as well!
Sounds like you got a bubblebubs AIO did you?
The MDs are wonderful - very popular. I haven't tried them yet, but I will! I am in LOVE with the ocean breeze and raspberry sorbet colours in the micro - SCRUMMY in real life!
As for being hooked... well - why do you think I started working there?! HA! I use mainly pockets - so BumGenius, Hautes and Green Kids (which Tania doesn't sell, but I want her to!). I also use the Bubblebubs AIOs (which Mia will grow out of soon) which are great, and I have a few Starbunz animal pockets, some BBHs, some TotsBots and Baby Kanga. Oh, and I have some Blueberry minky pockets as well.
Ash - Addictive isn't it?! I could browse all day... omg - SO MUCH WORSE in real life! I swear I will work for a couple of hours and then spend all my money on buying a new nappy every time I go there... HORRIBLE! Tania has a two yr old (GORGEOUS!) so it may take her a bit to get to you, but she will! As for advice, ask away!!
Danni - your poor cherub, have you gone to see the Dr to see what it could be? Poor little Mason as well :( Hugs...
-
Kristen-I'll have to have a think about what it is I want to know LOL
Danni-Don't worry sweetums, we can be sleep deprived zombies this weekend together. We'll just leave the boys with the bigger boys and go shopping.
-
in my new hot wheels! lol
-
Danni and Ash - Hope you have a great time visiting and make sure you take lots of pics of you all together!! Danni - I hope your bb's are feeling better hunny.
Kristen - you MCN champ you! and working too, sounds great hun!! Im going back in Feb :( I have a bad feeling that I will end up sharing a grade with one of the older teachers who wants to *semi-retire* and I know that I will end up doing all the planning, reports etc and she will be pretty slack. I have worked with her before so I know what shes like- always flat out busy but you wonder why coz she doesnt do anything  Sorry little vent there!! Thanks for MCN info - Im really contemplating it now - mmmmmm will continue doing so, she will be TT by the time I decide!!
Michelle - Yay for a new pram!! I was just saying to the girls today that I think I will get a phil and teds when we have number 2 - should have just gotten it in the first place but you dont think of that when you are shopping for one while pg!! I wish it was 28!! Although it was 18 and nice and sunny here today! :) The snuffles are nearly all gone thank goodness!!
Sarah - how are you hun!? Give your gorgeous boy a big kiss for me and when are you planning on being in Melbourne next? Any days locked in?? BTW - John Butler has lived in WA since he was a kid and has lots of Aussie gigs as a result!
Steph - No solids here yet - hopefully not til 6mths! If she seems like she needs it earlier then Im willing to compromise - but I think 5 will be my lower limit!! And no teeth yet here either although there is lots of drool and pink cheeks at times so makes me wonder if they move around a little under there! Nothing popping up yet thank goodness!!
Dan- we have had one 11 hour sleep in the last 2 weeks :( something is out of whack - the girls at MG have said their babies are all a bit off kilter too so maybe a growth spurt or this cold going around I guess. Not dreamfeeding here either - maybe I should if it keeps up - might see how I go.
Big hugs to Livvy!
Kelly - I think they must get allergies and hayfever although maybe not as bad as adults?? Izzys eyes have ben getting really watery lately and i wonder if its all the wattle out - mine are itchy too and my nose! Yay for JBT they are so cool!! Hang in there with the feeding hun - hopefully it will all sort itself out. I know I have been feeding in the same routine as the last few weeks and just this week it has shifted -so ive had to go back to reading her better -if i feed her before she is ready she will tear my nipple off - suck for literally 2 seconds, pull off, look at me smile, attach, suck for 2 seconds pull off, look at me smile...... you get it - its sooo funny but also really frustrating. Then she gets the whole body kick back that nearly tears my boob off. Clearly isnt that keen so I put it away!!!
Lulu - HUGE  and good luck for tomorrow hun! Let us know all about it as soon as you get home
Well ladies- I had MG today which was great!! Izzy's nose is still a teeny bit snotty - actually just in the mornings- there are big green boogas! Once they are out shes fine for the rest of the day  sorry for the gross TMI!!
Id better go - need an early night after all of these middle of the night feeds ( I know I should thank my lucky stars!) Night night all! Talk soon Im sure!
-
Tan - mwuaahahahaaaaaa, it's addictive!! ;)
-
Tan, looks like I don't have any of my facts right  Juz told me JB was Canadian, I just googled now and he was US born . I know we are coming to Melb in 2 weeks for a surprise b-day party, might be able to do a quick Sunday meetup before we head back home! I will talk to Juz about it.
Ashlee - Danni - Have a great weekend!!!
Michelle - The ring fell off on Tuesday and his wee willy is looking much better, the doc saw it yesterday and said it looks fine, I was worried with all that swelling though, it really wasn't a pretty sight. Oooo nice a P&T, I was going to get one but cannot afford it, I am going to buy a secondhand Valco with toddler seat and maybe when the next bub is born I can use some of the mat. payment for a P&T, I had a chance to push one around a little bit and it is absolute heaven, the lightest pram I have ever felt.
Kristen, What is the difference between the Monkey Doodle original and micro??
There goes my happy boy and enters that clingy screaming monster again  Please tell me this phase does not last long
-
Sarah - the difference is the internal lining. The original has a cotton-based liner and the mirco has a microfleece liner. It just depends on what you prefer. But I adore the colours in the micro!
Maybe we can organise a Melb meetup for when you're here??
-
Ok cool, I like the blue one in the micro, I never knew you could get AIO's otherwise I would have been on the train a long time ago.
I will see what I can arrange with Juz, he may want to stay for a bit of Sunday to catch up with a few of his mates outside of a drink induced haze. If it doesn't seem plausible I will look at getting a room in the city and maybe come down for a weekend in the next couple of months. Leave it with me for the night and I will sweet talk my man after a few cold beers and a romantic take away dinner ;)

Hi, I'm new to this site. I have 2 beautiful little girls, Tahliais almost 2 and Molly was born in may this year. She decieded not to wait till her due date and arrived a month early. Totally not expected.
We have started today to get her back into self settling and it has been going ok, we have our moments. I know there are goign to be tough testing times ahead, but I know she can do it. When she finally came home from hospital she use to self settle but we have jsut coe out of a rather rough patch of reflux and got outta the habit.
We are not rolling, but we are wriggling loads and love giggling and smiling at her big sister, and her mummy and daddy.
-
Ocean Breeze? It's a stunning colour!!
haha ok good luck!! :)
-

Welcome Joanne!!!
Glad to hear you are feeling better today Tan!!!
Ocean Breeze is the one Kristen, it is hot!
I have heaps of housework to do today girls and I am sick of sitting on BB and waiting for my MPM status to be acknowledged so I can advertise in my signature. I guess it is low on their list of priorities  I know I will be checking in constantly anyway though
-
Sarah - why has your name gone back to purple?? Does that mean something?? Other than you look nice in purple??!! ;)
-
I don't know, when I changed my user title yesterday it said Platinum Member and Market Place Member as the current title and it doesn't say it today. It never said it under my name in the posts though, I PM'ed Lucy yesterday but no reply so I don't know what is going on
-

Hi everyone. Really quick one while I have a break from the weeding . . .
Had my dating scan on Friday. Izzy's little prawn "Ned" is due on 28 April. I really am living Groundhog Year. Everyone thinks its hilarious that Ned is due a day after Izzy was due. Personally, not seeing the humour yet (still stressing about two babies under 12 months), but will hopefully get to a happy place with this pregnancy soon.
-

Quick one here... Congrats Lulu!!! One day apart! and I know you will be fine hun! We all do what we have to do - you will be busy but just imagine what wonderful friends they will be growing up! It funny how people say when you are pg with you first everything is so focused on pg and birth and not the details of having a little baby at home. I think we do the same with our babies! We forget thta they arent babies for that long and then are these little people who bring so much joy and will continue to do so over the next 20,30, 40 years! Again and congrats!

Time for a new thread everyone
