That's sad to hear about Amelia. I hope you guys are ok now and that must have been so hard for both of you! I guess children don't understand the concept of when we leave we will be back, which would be a struggle. Maybe you could have DH reassure her when he's home. Going to the park is a great dea, hope you both enjoyed it!
Haha I've done it too! Damian has just been so forcefully wanting to eat our food that I gave him a tiny bit of fruit purée and he loved it lol even fed himself :) I'm much more relaxed about introducing solids now, I thought it had to be on a strict schedule as to what and how but I feel much better about it now, and will just take it at his pace and offer some of our foods etc. Will still try it on Monday properly and see how we go! His face was so funny lol.
And my gosh has he had a growth spurt or what! He will just not get off my boob the last few days it's crazy!
-
Just a quick note about feeding, i found a thing in the shops that is like a dummy but it has a net bad on the sucky end you put food into so that bub can suck on it and get all the goodness without chocking. I have given dylan a bit of banana in it and he absolutley LOVED it. Highly reccomend giving it a go.
-
Yeah I have one of these. I used it a lot with Amelia. It was great to put frozen food in for her to keep her cool in summer.
-
So how was everyones mothers day? I hope everyone got spoilt. I sure did. I had such a lovely day.
Danni, how is the solids going? Macey is only interested in it every now and then, so I just offer and see how she goes. Funny that you gave in a little early too.
Macey sits up all by herself now very well. Only when she is reaching to far does she get off balance. 6 months on Saturday :) Amelia is 2 soon aswell. Can't wait. Her main present is her room. She is getting a big girls bed, a big wall mural and a chandalier (sp?). Plus lots of little things too. I will take her to DC and when she comes home some family and friends will be here and she will get to see her new room. It will be like a little surprise party for her.

Hello Mummies
Hope everyone is well & happy.
Tammara How did you go with introducing bub to meat the other day? Did he like it? And how's he been, anymore episodes since that day you took him to hospital?
Kazz What did you do for Mothers Day? How'd you get spoilt... please share! Go Macey! Damian is also really good at sitting, however when I try to give him tummy time he doesn't like it much and rolls onto his back in a second! lol so don't know when my little one will be crawling hehe. I always thought he'd be late to crawl, early to walk - but we'll see!
Damian loves his food!! Although yesterday was the first full on solids day, where we fed him until he was full, he was a little pro at eating from the spoon by the end of the day & absolutely loved it, but today (as the newness wears off) he is not that interested anymore lol. Obviously Mummy's milk is still his favourite ;) And his breastfeeds haven't gotten less or anything either. Although his poo has changed. I don't want to push him or anything so it's up to him whether he eats or not. They say in the first year the vast majority of their nutrition comes from breastmilk anyways.
I went to the Chemist & weighed Damian yesterday... 8.5kg!!! wow LOL! And thats fully on breastmilk. Am I a proud Mummy or what hehe.
Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day - we sooo deserve it! :D
-
He didnt disslike the meat but he didnt get into it like the banana so i dont think i will try again. As for the episodes. not really but he has been soooooo unsettled lately. We have had house guests for the last 10 days (mum dad and 4 kids from 2-8) so its a huge change for him plus he got over a cold about a week ago but has another cold but with a chesty cough now so he has not been sleeping well at all. Im taking him to the dr tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do.
It has been soooooooo cold here lately, i cant wait for us to get the wood heater installed it will be so toasty.
Have a good day :) I think porche was in our preg forum??? she had her baby girl this week her name is lilly

Hi Ladies,
Sorry its been a while.. But between the Easter and the Christening its been a little crazy over here.
Tam, thank you the christening was lovely. I am proud of what I achieved with my decor and all the stuff I ordered. It was almost a perfect day..
Kazz, so did you test? haha Im so curious... lol
afm, well P is now fully FF baby.. I did both bf and ff but he kept bitting me and I just didnt have as much milk this time around. I fully bf dd until she was 9 months old, and when I stopped it took a month for my milk to dry up. So on Easter Sunday I stopped.
The christening was a success.. and Yes it was almost perfect.. My FIL was just too much on the day. 'tell those people to stop talking in church' meanwhile its my 85 year old uncle.. sure I can tell him to shut up!! blah.. Lets just say everything bothered him.. My MIL hardly spoke to me, I made a point of making the day be about my family name and my son. My Grand father was a captain/fisherman in greece.. So I had the whole room deck out, P wore a captain outfit to church and all..
I was so overwhelmed, so proud to have my son christened in the church and named after my dad.. I cried a couple of times..
I had P weighted for his 6 month check up.. He was 8.3kg and 74cm long. Very proud of my little man.. He was sick the week before, he had lost a little wieght. He gained a little again and both kids are sick again.. So we will see soon.. Im going to double check his stats again..
I started P on solids when he was 4 months old.. I started with baby rice.. and now I tend to mix his baby rice with his veges.. I really havent started him on meat yet. Tomorrow we are having roast pumkin soup.. yumie!! He loves his yoghurt!
Ok Im off to bed.. I have a busy day tomorrow. DD is now in Kindy Garden, its a real difference.. Kind of like being at school. She seems much more happier but its still early days.
Take care all...

Sorry I forgot to say. It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and my body gave me a present. AF returned. I am still getting cramps so I will have to see the doctor but atleast I can say that I am not UTD. Now just to see what is wrong.
Danni, I got a lovely Calvin Klein jacket and a Vercelli two toned watch that came inside a Faberge (sp?) egg. Amelia did a little canvas painting for me (love, love, love) and I got french toast made for breaky (yummo). How was your day?
Eng, I am so glad that your plans and baby P's special day went so well. I saw the photos, he looked so cute. Ouch to the biting. I always said that might be my cue to stop BF, Amelia never bit me, but she self weaned anyway.
Tammara. I hope Dylan gets better soon. It is so hard when they are so little, there is not much to help them. I saw that Porshe had her little girl, I am a stalker of the belly buddies due threads. I love all the anticipation they go through. Lilly is a beautiful name, one of my favs. Jody was due at the end of April but she dropped off but she would have had her girl by now. Lozzy will be next and then Meggles is due early Nov. So glad all our mummy's that had losses have had or are expecting again. It is really cold here to. We got a southerly wind yesterday and it was like ice. I do like it though, I love rugging up. Our house also gets full sun on the back so it heats the it up really nice.
I will be taking Macey to the clinic for her 6 month check up on Friday, I am guessing she is just over 8kg now. I am still waiting for my Amber necklace, It better turn up. Macey had a really unsettled night last night, she woke every two hours. I can not see any teeth ready so don't think that was the problem. She still struggles alot with wind so I think that was the issue. I put her in bed with me and layed her on her side and she was much happier. Amelia went to DC a little better, no tears but she was still upset about going. I let her take her fav doll so that helped a little.
-
Eng - i think its great you were able to feed for 6 months,i hope when i have another i will be able to feed a little longer than with dylan. Sounds like your christening was very fully on, ours was pretty simple. Glad things turned out the way you wanted them.
Kazz - sounds like macey and dylan are having the same probs. I dont know if its because dylan is sick but his wind pains have been really bad the last couple of nights. I too found that snuggling him up on his side with me helped him and gave me a couple hours sleep.
I took dylan to the drs today and the poor lil monkey has a chest infection :( he started anti biotics so fingers crossed that helps him get better fast. Things are about to get exciting, nervouse and intence in my house soon. I called the ivf clinic and i will be starting the hormone drugs when i get AF (within the next week) so hopefully if everything goes well and my uterus cooperates we will do the embrio transfer in 2-3 weeks then i have a horrible 10 day wait.
Have a good day and try and stay warm, im going to put dylans walker together while he is sleeping.
-
Tammara, I hope Dylan is feeling better. not long now till your trnsfer, how exciting. Macey pretty much sleeps on her side all the time now. She is much happier.
Macey had her 6month check up, she weighed 8.4kg dressed :)She is in the 95th% for weightbut does not look it because she has a tiny head it is it the 10th% but that has been a consistant since birth so not worried. She has her needles tomorrow:( I am also getting her hand and feet moulds done on Thursday. I had Amelia's done at 6 months too.
OMG Amelia will be 2 on Friday. I am so excited, she is having a surprise party (so easy to organise when you can talk about it in front of her). She is getting a new big girl bed as her main present. I will take her to DC for a few hours while we put in together and then when she gets home people will be here and she will have a new room. Can't wait. I am also going to attempt to make her a Moo cow cake, that is what she wanted:)
-
tammara - Oooh it' coming up so soon!! Wishing you all the luck in the world with getting pregnant again! I didn't know you breastfed Dylan, how long was that for? How come you stopped? And I really hope he's OK now... how is he going?? I had a simple Christening with Damian also, just small, intimate and close family only with some refreshments at my house. How'd you go setting up the walker? Damian has an exersaucer (like a stationary walker with activities/toys all around that he can swivel and play with) and I'm getting him a Jumperoo which looks like fun, so he can jump but not be mobile like a walker.
Kazz - Wow, Macey is around Damian's weight too. They're little chubby chops aren't they! hehe. I love that I have a big boy, it's adorable. But wow getting heavy. Lots of excitment for you! I had Damian's hand & feet moulds done when he was 8 days old. It's in a beautiful frame with birth details plaque and a photo of him from our professional family shoot when he was around 6 weeks old. I LOVE it! Hope Amelia's birthday goes to plan. Sounds great! Wow, a big girl bed already hey.
Gotta go now but will be back as soon as I can to post an update on my boy.
Best wishes to all

Hi Ladies..
Happy Birthday to Amelia... I hope she had a lovely day Kazzo. Your cake looks fantastic!! Good job!! Yay on the big girl bed.. I hope she stays in there for you and doesnt give you any trouble getting in and out..
Tam good luck hun with this months IVF I hope we hear some good news soon.. We will be thinking of you..
as for us, P is moving heaps! I have to keep running around behind him. Its rather hard picking up DD toys, but I think we have worked that problem out so far. P is understanding heaps more now and follows his sister around.
I have to get him into a real routine in the next few weeks as I have decided to return back to work soon. 4 weeks now of FF and he is doing much better, seems to be gaining weight again.
Our house has been fighting the flu/chest infections for the last 3 weeks and Im so tired from all of it. During the night the kids play a little tag team, one wakes I get that one back to sleep and then the other wakes.
Ok best be off to go play with my monsters.. Have good weekend..
-
Hi ladies
hope your all doing well.
Danni - i only breast fed for about 6 weeks, i stopped because i got an infection in my c section scar and they had no antibiotics that would be ok while feeding (i still dont think there is nothing safe) and i had to wait 3 hours after taking tablet before i could feed so i ended up using formula to help and from there the milk was just not cutting it for him.
Eng - hope the sickness has left your household by now. It was hard enough with just Dylan let alone two kids. GL with the routine
I had dylans needles done today and he screamed the house down the poor lil love, i know its for the right reason but i still hate giving him the needles. His chest infection cleared up fine. Still no teeth for him but im sure they are almost here, he has been sooooo grizzly and chewing EVERYTHING and constantly has his finger in his mouth. I have not got his 6 month check up yet - very slack of me but im guessing he would be close to 10kg now he is getting so heavy to carry. He is sort of crawling in his own style - he loves his walker and scoots around in it :)
Its all go with the IVF so fingers crossed Tuesday 31st i will be pregnant!!!
Have a good weekend
-
Thanks Eng, Amelia has been very good with her bed. She can climb down but wont in the dark which is good. So far so good. I was really proud of my cake effort. It was the first time I attempted anything like it and I loved it. Can't wait till Macey's first to try and make a Dragonfly. Hope your all feeling better. I think Amelia and I take turns of having a flu. It feels like just last week we were talking about finishing up work and now it is return to work talk.
Tammara. Goodluck tomorrow. How exciting. I hope it is a BFP. It feels weird that when Amelia was 6 months I knew I was ready to start trying. 5 cycles later and Macey was on her way. Although I want to have another baby, I don't have that urge at all at the moment. I think I will wait for Amelia to start kindy before we try again.
AFM, I think Macey will be a bum shuffler before she crawls. Now that she can sit by herself she is not interested in laying down unless asleep. She still has not rolled yet and I can't see it happening until she is strong enough to get up if she falls. She is so different to Amelia in just about everything. We have been co sleeping for the last few weeks now. It gets really cold at night here, we are in a valley. I have her in a bonds jumpsuit, sleeping bag plus socks on her hands. One cotton sheet, one blanket and a quilt, plus I put a fleece blanket under her and she still wakes up a lot at night. When she is in bed with me she sleeps really well and her little head and ears don't feel cold. She is sleeping in her room in her cot during the day though. But until she stops her 6:30am bf then I am happy for her to sleep with me.
-
Thanks kaz, its a definate for tomorrow at 11.15am so i have my fingers crossed that they manage to thaw out one super good embrio for transfer. I am doing it so soon because im 36 now and i dont want to leave it too long. I have given myself 6 months to get preg then if no luck i wont try again.
Dylan craweld tonight, well more of a caterpilla crawl but still got some sort of action. Best part was i got to video it on my phone to send to daddy yayyyyyy go Dylan. I hear him now night all
-
Transfer went well, we only lost one embryo and the dr said the one they transfered looked really good so fingers crossed. Cant wait to do a test now lol
-
Woohoo for Dylan and Woohoo for a good looking Embryo. I have my fingers crossed for you too. Hope the wait is not to long although I am sure your little guy will keep you busy anyway.
Hopefully this is the one and you don't have to worry about a 6 month time frame.
Macey was really sick on Monday and Tuesday, she had a high temp and was just miserable. She would only let me put her down when she was asleep and she slept in bed with me. Now that she is better she still wants to sleep with me so will have to work at getting her sleeping by herself again. Untill then I do like having her sleeping right next to me so no rush I guess.
-

Its a definate blood test came back today and i am 4 weeks pregnant lol its strange the transfer was only 10 days ago. And you were right kazz my edd is feb 16
-
Congratulations again Tammara. What a lovely time for a baby to be due. Time for a new ticker for you.
-
yeah i know but i forgot how to do it again lol any idiot indtructions?
-
I will try and make them for someone suffering baby brain.
Make your ticker and click on PseudoHTML under Forum Ticker.
It will come up in a box underneath. copy it and paste it in your signature which you will find by going to settings and on the left of page .
Hope that helps.
-
Congratulations Tam!!
So happy for you and your little family. I wish you a h&h pregnancy.. and I hear that March 23rd is a fanstastic day to have a baby...
-
Wow... could that mean that you got pregnant naturally? Or is it just a normal thing to happen to be a few weeks out?
Awww... you know that's around the time when we all conceived our bubs :) Well I know it was for my Damian... what a special time of year!
I wish you all the very best for this pregnancy & congratz again!
Kazz - How's Macey going now? I see that she's been really sick on and off for a while now... hope the poor darling is better now! Still co-sleeping? I am most of the time - we love it, it's such a nice thing having your little bub snuggle up to you all night long and sooo much easier when breastfeeding, it hardly wakes me. Nothings beats body heat during those cold nights, and it's not like they're going to want to sleep with us forever lol. I do practice a lot of attachment parenting so it goes hand in hand with that I guess.
Eng - If you do post any of your bubs Christening photos or any photos of you guys in your BB album, let me know as I'd love to see them! Sounds amazing.
AFM..... Little Damian is going very well. Hasn't been sick at all yet *touch wood* He loves eating food we eat and doesn't fancy purees & some days he will hardly eat, so just trying to encourage eating more lol but I won't push him, after all bf is the most important 1st year anyway. My Birthdays on the 28th of this month, hubby's planned a surprise for me & all I know is that we'll be going away for a few days which I am sooo looking forward to as it's always good to get away from the house for a while every now & then (and of course bub will be coming too).
Damian much prefers it when we are out & about so we try and keep busy all weekend. The hardest is prob being home with him alone all day during the week - have to find lots to do to entertain him! Been much more fun & better since he's become so interactive. No crawling yet - but he's managed to roll back and forth and triple roll etc, so he's more mobile in that sense (doesn't just roll front to back and thats it). He much prefers sitting up or standing then lying down, so I'm not sure when his time will come to crawl. But hey, no rush from me lol!
Our house is going well with getting built, seeing it really process. We ended up building a single storey house as the builder let us choose one another home in a different section of the Estate that was going to be built earlier because of the massive delays with the other one thank goodness... so our house will be ready by end of August which is so exciting, will get to have Damian's 1st Birthday in there YAY. Much better than Feb next year. I just hope it stops constantly raining. Stressful though, gotta think about packing already, and not sure how bub will cope with the move.
Damian is having a phase where he HATES being put down to bed. No matter how exhausted and tired he is, he will literally cry & protest the second I go to the bedroom with him. Ohh it's so exhausting, makes me really get tense about putting him to bed as he is really hard to settle. Oh well, I'm hoping it's just a phase. At night he's good still, it's just during the day.
Hope all you Mummies & bubbies are keeping warm & staying well during all this cold weather! I'm really looking forward to i warming up again already!
-
Thanks for your well wishes, it still hasnt really sunk in for me and hubby (he is working away)
You are right Danni, my embryo transfer with Dylan was feb 15 (mum and dads wedding anniversary) the edd is 16th but i was told last time to just go for c section so im not sure how early they will do it????
Danni - Dylan is the same at the moment, he can be sooooooo clingy, i walk out of sight and he screams. And at night if i put him down he gets so upset, i have found it i lay him in his cot and lean over and hug him to calm him it works cos he usually gets to sleep and when i go im not disturbing him much.
Kazz - how is Macey doing now/ hopefully getting better
-
Danni. I am happy to hear that going out is so much better for you now, you sure had a hard start to it but sounds all good now. Macey is all better now. She is the same as Damien, not that keen on food, I have started given her some coarse puree food as well as pieces of food, some things she wont touch in pieces put likes them pureed. I think she might be a bit fussy compared to her sister who eats anything and everything. She is back to sleeping in the cot but stil in my room. She does end up in bed with me though after her morning feed most mornings though :)
Tammara. I think they normally do schelduled CS one week before your EDD if everything is going well. How exciting. Your 2nd pregnancy will fly with another baby to keep you busy and Feb will be here before you know it. New ticker looks great.
Eng, hope your doing great.
My great little sleeper is not so great at sleeping through anymore. Since about 5and a half months old she started waking up once throughout the night. Now she wakes up 3-4 times. She goes to bed about 7am, wakes at 10:30pm has a quick feed, wakes at 2:30am another quick feed, wakes around 4:30am but not for a feed just a wriggle, then wakes at 6:30am for a big feed and then sleeps till about 7:30 - 8:00am. I have actually read that I should be eating at least 30mg of Protein per meal. That is really hard to do so I am going to try some protein powder and see if that helps my milk. Lucky Amelia is a great sleeper and I don't have to worry about her waking too.
It has been rainy here since Friday night and I have a line full of clothes :( and a few loads that need doing. It is meant to rain until Friday so I guess I will just have to wash what will be needed and try and dry it inside.
-
Hi Ladies,
Danni, I havent got any photos on bb only on fb. If you would like me to add you just pm me your full name I will add you. btw FF or BF is important however after 6 months a baby needs more nutrition than what FF or BF can give him or she.. Also you might want to try adding some EBM to some of your foods as maybe the flavour is too strong for bubs as he is only just starting out. I mix my vegies with FF when P started out. Now he is a porky and I cant sit at the table unless he has food too..
Kazz, hello over there.... Im doing ok thank you.. 5 weeks of sick kids and then I got it!! arghh its done my head in.. I demanded drugs for all of us!! lol I think we did well to do 5 weeks but it was just getting worse... Is Macey teething? I had the same problem with P, I tried different thing and in the end I did cc and he seems to be good now.
afm, alot has happen in the last few weeks with me. My kids have been really sick, I got it too and dh. I took the kids 6 times to the doctors!! I was told sinus infection, sinus infection, bronchitis, whooping cough, asmtha and bronchitis... So we have... BRONCHITIS!!! Yay!! now we are on the mend!!
I know I have said a few things about dh on here but things have become extremely worse. I have spent many many nights crying and woried sick about my kids. I do everything, I mean everything! I do the finances, the house work, the kids, the cooking and cleaning.. I mean everything. I might as well be a single mum. I ask/yell at him to help and it just falls on deaf ears.
He changed his medication 2 months ago and he said was feeling tired.. He was sleeping like 10+ hours.. When he would wake up he would fall asleep again! He has given me no support since before his mother got sick, over a year ago. TBH he only thinks of himself anyways..
Last Monday was DD birthday and again he was selfish and so enough was enough. I think it was more that he was being selfish on his daughters birthday, a day that is so exciting when your 4 years old.
well the day was exciting we packed up our things and moved out.. Yes I moved out.... Firstly I told him to get out and not to come back.. then I packed our things and moved into my parents house
I rang his dr and told him what had been happening, i knew he had an apointment coming up. So it works out he has Clinical Depression.
Im not sure how to feel or if I can excuse his behavour... I know most of it will be part of the CD but this has been going on for years. I'll never forget when I was pg with P he turned to me and said he didnt want the baby anymore.. Can you really forgive that? or the after effect of making me so sick I thought I was going to mc, I was so ill I broke all the blood vessels in my face..
My sil (dh's brother's wife..) has been really supportive and great.. Infact I have been getting calls from his cousins telling me they are 100% behind me! me! like hello your meant to stick with your family!! I never realised just how many people watched me do everything, it really makes me feel embarrassed. I know thats weirod to say but I do.
I havent cried since I left my home..
Our families have come together and dh acts like nothing has happened. His mother is on another plant, she is back to her selfish ways and really doesnt care what happens. His father wants us to work it out.
I dont know if there is anyway we can work this out but I guess we have to take it one day at a time.. who knows, maybe things with stay the same or things will improve.. One thing is for sure... I'm not going back to the way things were..
sorry for the vent.. but I needed to vent..
-
Oh Eng to be so sick and to go through all that.
You are an extremely strong women! So many women would just stay and bare it all. You have done what is best for you and your babies. If your Husband wont help himself and you have tried then what more can you do. After he says he does not want to have the baby anymore, that would have been shattering for you.
I hope that things start getting better for you now and that your health starts improving.
Okay, have to run but I could not read your post and not reply a little. Lots to do this morning but I will be back later.
-
Kazz - I feel you about the washing - it is just piling up and up!!! lmao. Will have to do some indoors too. We must live not far from each other as my weather forecast is just like yours. Miserable until the end of the week. Damn. Oh, and I know how you feel with the night wakings... Damian is the same, but he has his days - some are worse than others but it's always just for a quick feed in the night and he too starts off in his bed then ends up with us during the night thanks to the feedings ;) It can be so exhausting only sleeping a few hours at a time though. Has Macey gotten any teeth yet?
Eng - What I said was that bub has his days where he will & won't eat much, which is normal. Like the other day he ate massive amounts of food, and the last few days he's been constipated and chose not to eat much, and that must have helped him cos he's done a few good poops lol. i tried all what you suggested in the beginning but he wouldn't stand for anything without loads of flavour and prefers to dig in on family meals anyday over bland purees lol, thanks to the european in his genes I think haha. I just alter our family meals to suit bub these days
I am really sorry to hear what you have been going through. It sounds very hard & unfair on you & obviously you want to do what is best for you & your babies. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you not to have your Husbands support. It's something I would struggle so much without. You shouldn't have to put up with that. I remember my parents always fighting when I was growing up and I used to wish that they would divorce so I guess in saying that what I am trying to say is it isn't always better for the children if you stay together when you're not happy. I hope you find peace & it really sounds like you have made the right decision, and I hope things get better for you
-
Eng i agree 100% with kazz, good on you for leaving. Dont ever thing your doing the wrong thing either. From things you have told us you put up with far more than anyone should. I hope everything goes well for you now - by the no crying sounds like it was definately the right decision for you and your girls. Its also great that his family are supporting you - another reason you know your right in leaving.
Anytime you need a vent definately do so here, chin up things will get better xxoo
-
Hi Mummas... How are we all?
Hope everyone and their bubbas are well :)
My little Damian had his first high temperature a few days ago! It was sitting at 38.5 for a couple of days! Bub was quite sleepy, refusing solids and breastfeeding non stop for HOURS (omg my back lol). I just stuck with it and we both got through it. The last night of his high temp was the worst one we've had since back in the early days. He was crying and would not sleep in his hammock or feeding like usual, and nothing else worked so we all had to go for a freeway drive at like 1am for aaages just to get him settled and sleeping. Boy it was hard, a big flashback too. But great thing is that he is all better now, his body fought whatever it was naturally and hardly showed any other symptoms. So scary having a sick baby though!
Tammara how is your pregnancy going?? Feeling any morning sickness or anything else yet?
I wonder how all the other Mummies are going that would have had their babies when we did. I think all of them would have popped by now, even new mum. Wow, time just keeps on flying doesn't it..

I have not been getting notices for this thread and the post I did the other day is not here Humf!!
Anyway.
Danni, good to hear your little guy is better. It is horrible to have a sick baby and there but not much to do to help. I live about an hour from you if I remember correctly where you said you were from. M has not got any teeth yet, I can see one sitting under the gum and she has started really playing with her gum so I am guessing it wont be long now. I am sort of dreading it, she has started yanking at my nipple a bit at the end of a feed and that hurts enough, teeth are sure to make that worse. Hopefully she stops before they come through.
Eng, how are you going now. I hope your feeling better about opening up on here.
Took the girls to the Playschool concert this morning. A loved it. Even M liked watching it too except she did not like it when the music first started and all the kids screamed with excitment. M has dropped that 2:30am feed but is still waking, just does not want to feed. The minute I lay her in my bed she is out like a light, if I pick her up and put her in the cot she wakes up straight away. So now I have a half the night co sleeper. Thankfully A does not like sleeping in our bed because there just would not be enough room. I do love having her right there though.
M STILL has not rolled herself yet and now that she sits by herself she is not intersted in laying down at all anymore so I can't see her rolling anytime soon. I have caught myself compairing her to A and when she did things but A did everything very early so I have stopped. Plus I love her staying so babyish for longer. Although I would love another baby in a few years, I know it may not happen so I am making sure I make the most of it all now.
I have Lamb shanks in a BBQ sauce slowly cooking in the oven and my house smells so yum now. I can't wait to dig into them. The best weather for them. It is so cold here this afternoon.

Kazz I know how you feel about teeth as omg im scared too lol. I can feel one just under his gum too but it hasn't come through just yet. Any day now though! And Damian also clamps down on my nipple occasionally oh o! I have read to pull them in towards your nipple (so their face is sort of squashed in) so they learn it's uncomfortable to do it so they should stop biting, but I don't know how effective it is yet! I'm buying a nursing necklace on eBay that can also help stop them getting bored and biting, don't know if you have that issue or not. You can pm me if you want the link in future.
I think it's great macey will just pop into bed and sleep! I wish Damian would do that lol he has to be on my boob to sleep in bed or it's rocking. He has always been A fussy sleeper so I'm just glad we found something that works. I think you're right about enjoying the baby time as it's going too quickly! Like you, I plan on having another one a few years down the track I think. My little mr demanding baby couldn't cope sharing me just yet lol and we plan at stopping at 2 or 3, just gotta see how things plan out! I wouldn't worry about macey rolling Damian hardly does and hates being on the floor too, forget about on his tummy. She is sitting up you said so that's good. It's not like she's behind in everything or anything like that. Maybe we just have early walkers late crawlers on our hands :)... Well that's what I've always said about Damian.
Damian is also still scared of sudden or loud noises I don't think he would have coped with the start of playschopl just yet lol. Sounds like it would have been fun though.
Hubby has this free family pass he can get from work to taronga zoo which i hear is absolutely awesome but I just don't know the right time to take bub so he's not scared of crazy animals lol. Think I'll do it sometime soon anyway.
Eng hope all is well with you now. I would have pm you about fb, it's just I don't have an account. hope you're feeling better xx

My poor feet. Macey is now tall enough to reach the floor in her walker and my feet are coping it. She follows me everywhere and runs into me all the time and tinks it is so funny when I say ouch:)
I have seen those necklaces, macey plays with my normal necklace when I am wearing it. If not she will hold whatever top I have on. I will give that squish their face a try and hope it works.
We took Amelia to the zoo when she was 11months old and she loved it, she was walking but because it is a bit hilly she sat in the pram mostly but was able to get out and close to the exhibits. We caught the ferry there and she loved that too.
Off to the library for story time. Have a great day everyone.

Hello Mummys...
Got back today from my much needed getaway with my boys (Hubby & bub) for my birthday which was on Tuesday. I had such a wonderful time on my first holiday with Damian! It was a couple of hours drive from home and bub was fantastic. He was such a good boy in all the restaurants (also thanks to the fact he loves eating our food with us). We even got complimented a few times about his behaviour :) I am one proud Mummy! And to think how nervous I was! I feel so much more confident now and I feel like bub is at such a wonderful age and I'm really enjoying it. The hardest part was coming home!!
Hope everyone is well & I hope to hear some updates soon!
