Wow we have dropped off havent we. lol

Great to hear Logans doing so well Kylie, i hear you on the broken sleep, i havent had a whole nights sleep in i dont know how long
Does he have reflux??? Trini's lil one Alexys had reflux and would scream whenever laid down flat, perhaps elevating his matress a lil might help???

Hi Krisvee- we still have to catch up, i've got your mobile so i'll sms ya soon and we can organise a time.
Wow only 2 1/2hrs 1 day a week???? thats not much at all. Alyssa goes 3 days a week for 3-3.5 hrs. You must be so busy with 3 boys.

Charli is doing great we have a MCHN app next wednesday, she was 5960g at 3 months so she should def be over the 6kg mark by now. lol. She is rolling both ways, she rolled from tummy to back at 2 weeks and has been rolling from back to tummy since 3 months and 3 days (Valentines day she started. hehe) She wakes up lots during the night so i'm not getting much sleep which has everyone telling me to put her on formula...... do they not understand that bf is better for her even if it does make me tired. aarrgghhh. I think the main reason though is that she has started teething, i can see her gums are very white and shes constantly dribbling and biting down on my fingers whenever she can.

We are also moving to add to all that so atm i am stressed to the max, we got a letter last week saying the landlords son wants to move in so we have 2 months to find a new place. Fingers crossed for me

    Hi!

Kirra - I would love to catch up! Yeah..Louis only doing 3yo kinder this year...
Yeah at Charli doing so well - all that rolling! Ethan was rolling from tummy to back for ages but has decided he can't do it now...he's only just starting to wriggle a bit...he's going to be my lazy baby I think...after 2 very active early movers I'm more than happy for him to be a bit slower! LOL!
Grrr - I hate how everyone says to put babies on Formula for more sleep - drives me crazy. Sleep issues are sleep issues and food issues are food issues if you ask me! You're doing a fantastic job of feeding your baby so tell everyone else to bugger off and just support your rather than trying to make it "easier"! That's the problem these days - most people just want to parent as easy as possible and not necessarily do whats best for bubs! Ok rant over - you can tell I've had these issues can't you? (btw - this is in no way against formula feeding mums!!)
Good luck with moving!! Always a big job but with young kids is so much harder!!

Well, I'm meant to be taking Louis for his swimming lesson but with the boys sick we're having a quiet day at home...Chat later!

    Hi Everyone

Congrats on finding a place Kirra. Good those people going on about formula make me sick too! Lily only gets up once a night, athough she gave me 3 full nights for my birthday & is quite a chubby little bum. We have her 4 month review on the 11th & I'm guessing she may have hit 8kgs? If only I could get a photo on here for you all to see! People can't stop making their annoying suggestions hey, even when it is not your first. Fools!

Kristy - Lily is my lazy baby too! Pip was crawling by 4 & a half months but I don't see Lily doing that! She's very very relaxed!

For the second time the funny bug did her special trick! Piper was playing with her & then moved on & lily started crying like she had been hurt. Even Pip was worried & said 'what'swrong Mum?' I checked her out, she was fine but still crying so I told Pip to talk to her again because I thought she wanted her & lo & behold the cheeky bug started laughing! She wanted her sissy! How very cute!

Pulling out the Jolly Jumper tomorrow. Pip loved it & I think Lily will to. She holds her head very steady so its bouncing time!

Ordered a trial pack of the itti bitti cloth napies - yes, I am insane! ill see how they are & then maybemay buy a 6 pack & use them part time.

Glad to hear everyone is well. Wonder when we'll ever get more time to post! Hmmm, if only Pip had an afternoon nap more often! I miss her naps!

ok, better heat up dinner (gotta ove that my Mum often sends dinner around! Will miss hr when my parents go OS in 2 months!)

    Ciao Ciao

LOL @ Lily cracking it when Piper left, Charli does the same thing but in the car, if alyssa isnt in the car charli gets really upset but if lys is sitting next to her charli is all laughs and giggles, its sooo cute, if only they would do it when i get the video camera out. lol. At home Charli cracks it when anyone leaves her, she just wants someone to play with her all the time, lil terd. Why buy toys if she isnt gonna play with them???

Well hi ladies! I haven't posted in ages. For some reason I haven't been getting emails to say anyone's posted so haven't bothered looking til today and you've all been here!

Well Samuel has his 4 month check next week and I'm interested to know what he weighs cos he's getting pretty big!! It sounds like everyone's bubs are growing up happy and healthy!

Kirra - I was going to say the same thing as Krisvee...it could be silent reflux. I don't know if they go through a growth spurt at four months that could also be it...Samuel has not been his normal happy self the last few days. Although he still sleeps through the night from 9pm til 5:30am! I think I'm spoilt! It's just the days - he wants to be carried all the time and won't nap without a fight!!

He's been rolling for about a week and a half now. He goes from back to tummy and props himself up to look around. The only problem is, he doesn't know how to go back and gets very frustrated, so I spend half the day rolling him back over again!
He's also found his toes (according to the community nurse they shouldn't be able to do that yet but he does it all the time) and he holds onto them and watches tv! It's very cute.

My friend just had her baby three weeks ago and I can't believe how small he is! Isn't it funny how quickly we forget what newborns are like?

    Hi Ladies

Loving this cool weather! Although my washing is taking forever to dry! Still finding gravity challenged helium ballons hidden all over the house from Lilys Christeing last week. As nice as it was, I'm glad it's all done - parties stress me out!

Pip has been driving me nuts the last coupke of days! Doesn't help that I haven't been feeling well. Poor Lily hs been having trouble napping today as she needs to have a poo!

On Tuesday I am moving Lily into her cot to sleep at night. She doesn't fit in her basinet any more! I'm going to miss all the snorting, grunting & fart noises coming out of there! Also not looking forward to starting the controlled comforting. With the hot weathr last month we developed a bad night time habit of feeding to sleep. It wouldn't be so bad if she were my only one, but I'dlike to spend some quiet time with Pp before she goes to bed too. So Tuesday night is the night - thought I'd tackle th 2 in one hit. She has been sleeping in her cot & settling herself since December so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad - for her!

    Ok ladies, I'm off again.

Oh yeah, Keep forgetting to ask, has anyone heard from ATT as have been a little worried as remember her being from Centarl Vic & wondered if she was anywhere near the fires? Hope not.

    Ok Ciao ciao

Hey, I've fixed my ticker! Yay! Meet my gorgeous Little Lily! She's in her Chrisening gown which is 44 years old! All the kids on my side of the family have worn it since my brother was born - my Dad bought it for his Christening while my Mum was still in hospital recovering. Back then they would Christen their babies right away as they were worried that if they died they would be in limbo if not Christened. I think my Dad did a good job!

    Ciao again

Oh shes beautiful Natasha, GL with the controlled comforting, 80% of the time charli goes to sleep without crying at all now so trust me when i say its sooooo worth it. lol

I'm slowly getting there with the packing, cant wait to be in the new house already

Havent heard from ATT hopefully all is ok and shes just busy with the bubs.

Hi Ladies, it's me Pipers Mumma! I requested a blog name & they changed my username too!

Thanks Kirra. I think she's pretty cute to! haha!

We didn't feel the earthquake over here - good old solid westside!

Yeah, controlled crying is kind of my specialty! Learned it with Piper at Tweddle sleep school - twice! ha! I know the techniques for the 0 - 6 months & 6 - 12 months! We are tackling Lily & Piper at the same time as Piper has gone from a great night sleeper to a real pain since Lily was born! Still, it's so hard to hear them cry! My babies!

Hey, anyone know what's happening with the gallery on here? Can't get access to get photos up!

    Ok, I'm outta here!

    Ciao ladies & babies!

    Hi Ladies,

It has been a while since we have all posted - nice to see a bit of action in here.

Piper+Lily - Thanks for thinking of me, the fires were close, but not close enough that we had to leave - have had the car packed a few times though, just in case.
As both my DH and I are CFA members, we are fairly in the loop with where things are and whats happening.

Glad to hear that everyones babies are doing so well and growing.
My two are both putting on weight and reaching all of the developmental acheivements, but are beneath the scale for weight gain. I have been told multiple times that I should be topping them up with formula, but so far I have just persisted with the breastfeeding and they haven't had anything else.
They haven't lost weight, so at this stage I am happy with that - they are both just on the 5kg mark, so they are a little small, but seem healthy enough. They only wake once at night and surely they wouldn't do that if they were starving.
I went back to work in January and have been working Saturdays since then, I have since started doing every second Thursday as well. Between work, study, babies, a teenager and one in the middle, I sometimes wonder how I still manage to get everthing done.
Both my girls are rolling, have been since the end of January - within a week of each other, however Kaylee has decided that it is too much effort and spends the bulk of her time on her back, even if I put her on her tummy she just rolls back. Amber spends nearly all her time on her tummy and pushes herself along the floor - sometimes her nose is red from scraping along the rug! She moves around in her cot too and gets herself jammed up in a corner - Kaylee just lies on her back and stays put!

Will try and keep up to date with everyone and post more often.
    Take care all

ATT- its good to hear from you, sounds like the girls are doing great, good going with the bf, if i was you i wouldnt be topping them up on formula either they dont sound hungry by what your saying.

Charli was weighed today she is doing great MCHN is very impressed and says my lil angel is very advanced she's now 6.5kg, so in the last month she's put on an average of 185g a week. Lil chubba.

Better go the lil devil is tired of playing and wants to go to bed.

    Hi Ladies

Just a quickie as Lily just woke up!

Glad to hear you are all well ATT!

Had Lily's MCHN appt - my chuncka weighs 7.61kg & is 63.5 cm long! no wonder I have a sore back! All was good & I had to ask the health nurse if I could have Lily back as she didn't want to let her go!

Still waiting for Lily to poo - it has been 6 days! While she isn't sooky she is clearly uncomfortable. Poor bubba, we are praying for poo. Needles tomorow, maybe tht will bring it on!

    Ok gotta run!

Oh poor Lily, have you tried pushing her knee's up. I sit charli on my lap and do that when she needs to poo, my mum also said vaseline around her bum could help.

Charli is getting her imms tomorrow too, fingers crossed they go better than last time.

Thanks for that Kirra. I do the leg thing pretty much everyday for her! She was doing ok, then Thursday afternoon she seemed to be in pain - sooky etc & Lily is never like that! - so, as much as I didn't want to took our Dr's advice & used Glycerol Suppositories. Poor baby. Had to use one on Friday too. She has been ok today, pain wise but I'm just waiting for her to poo pon her on. I've been eating so much fruit & drinking metamucil in the hope that wit will hlp her that, lets just say I have no problems going at the moment!

Controlled comforting wengt well - so far. We had tears for an hour for the first 2 nights & nothing since - but I don't want to jinx myself! Everyone is in bed at the moment so that is why I had a chance to get on.

Have used Lily's itti bittis & I really like them. Want to get some moe but the only problem is that Lily seems to be between sizes & I don't know if I should get her mediums or larges. The worry is that she'll grow out of the mediums too soon or I'll get the larg size & then her growth will slow down. I think I may have to bite the bullet & drive up to Cotton Bottom in Kew to have a ;ook at the sizes - not really looking forward to that. I seem to have turned into a bit of a hermit. Apart from getting out to take the girls to playgroup, Pip to swimming & dancing I don't really go out. I get the guilts when I stuff up Lily's sleeps. Silly I know.

Hey Kirra, another silly thing - remember when we were pregnant we were worried how we'd go loving our second child as we love our older ones so much? How stupid was that hey! hahaha! I love Lily so much I think that I'll explode & then I look at Pip & think, 'what did I do to deserve these 2 beautiful grls!'

Ok, enough soppiness. ope that everyone is doing well & enjoys the rainy weather ( for yopu melbournites!)

    Nightie night

MCHN said to start charli on rice cereal so i did on thursday and all day friday she was in pain, she did a poo last night but hasnt done one at all today my poor baby. Needless to say she's not having rice cereal anymore

Poor Charli! What's with their poos!

No, Lily isn't on solids yet. When I took her to her MCHN appt she was zipped up in her cocoon & the nurse started telling me that we could start solids soon if I wanted to. Then I took Lily out of the cocoon & said I didn't think she needed to. When she saw the size of my chunky girl she quickly agreed that Lily definately didn't need to start solids until 6 months! hahaha!

Ok, off to clean the house - it looks like its been ransacked! Hope that you've got all your packing done Kirra!

    See ya!

LOL, not even close to having it all packed, we get the keys tomorrow and we'll start moving stuff but we are here until friday so we'll pack up the remainder friday night.

I have mastitis went to the doc today and he gave me some antibiotics and i have to go back on thursday for a check-up, he says if i get any worse i have to go straight to the hospital esp if i start throwing up, so far i've had 2 lots of antibiotics since i got them today and i'm feeling a lil better. I think i got it from missing 2 feeds on sunday when i went to the movies Man do i feel horrible, im really not looking forward to the day i have to stop bf.
