Hey girls, went to the doc and got some antibiotics and just started feeling better when i got a cold.

Congrats Krisvee- u sure are gonna have ur hands full but atleast your DH is very helpful (well he was the other week anyway) looks like your gonna need a bigger car though and Louis will be at kinder next yr which will help out a lil. When r u due? so exciting

Hi Melsa & Kylie, sounds like ur lil ones are doing great.

Charli is walking along the furniture and her new thing is dancing, she hears music and she starts bopping up and down, its sooooo cute, she always used to shake her head and move her shoulders which was equally just as adorable.
Well i better be off, hope everyones having a good weekend.

    Hi Everyone

Bloody hell - why have I not been getting any notifications! So much to read! Now I won't remember everything that's been going on!

Kristie - Congrats. Oooh, I'm so jealous I'm just praying that when we do go again(I'm thinking positive!) I fall preg with twins! ha! That's the only way DH will let us have 4 - there's twins on my side of the fam. But I shouldn't get ahead of myself thinking about having 4 when I'm trying to convince him to have 3 still! ha!

I haven't bothered with doing a pg test as I really doubt I am - don't think you can just wish yourself pregnant which is a shame! ha!

Good to see more people back on here - glad everyone is doing well!

Lily has another tooth, which makes 5! She is pulling herself up to stand & walks a few feet when you hold her by one hand - I think she's playing catch up doing all this all in one hit. She has been saying a-da for a little while too! hank god she's intersted in food too. I mainly give her what we eat for dinner - so different than when I had Pip, fussing around with all these different meals!

Gees, I can't remember what else I wanted to comment about now! Brain dead! I've been tired as Lily woke up during the night the other night & I haven't recovered. What was she thinking, spoiling me by sleeping through for the last 4 months & then waking me up! haha!

Kirra - Glad you are on the mend. Hey, If you are looking for work, AAMI are always looking for peeps - if you're not fussed about what you do. That is where I work (unfortunately, but it pays the bills & they are very accomodating to us Mummies!). You should check them out as they are open 24/7 so you can work nights. I'm there part time after hours so its good because yo get penalty rates - plus 50% off your insurance which is handy. In saying that, I'm not looking forward to having to go back to work in January(if I can hold it off for that long!)! haha!

I've been working - very slowly - on my business. I'm hoping that, if everything goes according to MY (not DH's!) plan, once I go back on maternity leave again, hoping for April/May 2011(see, I'm a planner )that I won't have to go back to working outside of home because I'll be making some cah from my business (which I'm afraid to mention here because I don't wat to get in trouble again! ha!). It's slowly picking up which is good, I just have to really focus on spreading the word & hoping to start selling at markets from the end of the year. I've been getting a bit of exposure through my facebook business page which has been good too!

Kylie - It must be great being in your new house!

    Melsa - welcome back!

Mak - ooops! Almost forgot you! Good to see you back too!

Fussyboots - hey you're a supermum too, we all are! Hey, if we don't give ourselves some praise, who will!

Ok, I'm getting a headache and still have way too much to do!

    I'm off!

    Ciao

    Hi!

Well...I've been having some cramping and bleeding so am very nervous about this bubba...have a scan tom so will have to wait and see...
On an up note all 3 or our boys slept through last night for the first time since Ethans arrival!!! Ethan has slept through a few times before but normally Dylan or Louis will still be up...Pity I was up at 4.30 and couldn't get back to sleep for ages - LOL!

Alyssa - I assume I'd be due around mid march...Hands full would be an understatemen! LOL! Dh is helpful but I guess it's still me on my own most of the time...We just worked out we would probably by a wagon with a ****ie seat until they're out of car seats...?
What a bugger you're sick too - hope you didn't get it from us!!!
How cute Charli is bopping so much!! I'd be feeling grateful she doesn't have teeth - LOL! Louis & dylan never got teeth until they were about 12 months old...although I can't complain just yet - Ethan hasn't bitten me and he didn't have much teething dramas..(so far) It just popped through...

Natasha - LOL at wanting twins - geez your keen! LOL! Sounds like Lily's going sooo well! Wow - what a good sleeper! (except for the other night!)
This age is notorious for bad sleepers -9 months is a seperation anxiety time so I hope she goes back to sleeping well without a hassle!!

Chilling out today...Dh is having a sleep in this morning but Is giving me a break this afternoon - I'm hoping I may be able to snooze or at least hop in bed and have a read...I feel so sick with this stupid cold...

    Chat later!

LOL about teeth - thank god she's only given me a couple of little nips (on the nips! ha! sorry, I couldn't help it!) at the start & she's very gentle now!

Kristie - how good is it when they all sleep through together! Hope everything is ok - you should know by now thatcamping is normal early on Try not to worry. Good luck with the search for a car. Funny how the * out the word ****ie! ha!

Kirra - let me know if you want to apply & I'll see what I can find out for you re whats going at the moment, & if they still have the staff referral program running (they give you a better look in if you have been referred to the job by someone already working for the company).

ok, I'm off. Have to sew a little tutu & get everyone ready for Pips best friends 3rd birthday party. She's very excited!

    ciao

    Hey Natasha!

The cramping I'm not too worried about but I've never had bleeding in any of my p/g's...that's what's stressing me more!
Have fun at the birthday party!!

Kris- I had bleeding and cramping with Charli at 5.5wks and i was devastated cause i thought the worst, turned out to be just a placenta attaching bleed or something, can't remember the exact name for it. What time is your scan? is your DH going?

Natasha- I looked it up last night after i got off here and i couldnt find any in this area to apply for, nothing come up in the search and it would just let me do an online app So help would be great
I gave my sister my resume to give to her boss at kmart (i used to work there before lys and when she was lil but they werent giving me any hours so i ended up getting another job, they didnt understand that i couldnt book her into care unless i was actually working ) but she said they arent allowed to hire atm but if something comes up they'll give me a call but im not holding my breath.

I'm so bored today, Alyssa is at my sisters, i've already done all the washing, cleaned the bathrooms and im not gonna bother with the floor until after dinner cause the girls make a mess anyway, esp charli. lol. Ooooh i think she just woke up, give me something to do. hehe, she must have known i was bored. lol. Chou to everyone and i hope your all having a good weekend.

    Hi!

Kirra - Did I already mention I can't make it to yours tomorrow?? I"m soooo sorry - I have a dr's appt at 10am and then a scan at 2.20pm but both are over in Kilsyth and Ringwood...
Michael is working in Altona tomorrow so I'm going on my own...which is ok - I'm dropping the kids off with my brother for the scan so at least I can go in peace...
It won't be a bad thing because if something is wrong then at least I can have a good cry to myself in the car and if everythings ok I can have a good cry to myself in the car - LOL! Dh just kind of doesn't get it and is probably hoping that something goes wrong (he's really not that bad but just would prefer not to be having an other bubba..)
I'm still crossing my fingers that everything is ok - bleeding has slowed down but the cramps are still around...

I wish I didn't think so much - I so do my head in sometimes! LOL!

I'm off to try and have a snooze while dh is on daddy dute!

I'll chat with you tomorrow and let you know!

    Hi Girls,

Hope all is well with everyone! (Esp. Krisvee - hope things settle down soon and you get good news).
Thanks all for the advice on the bottle feeding - we are slowly getting there, she prefers to have her formula cold and sitting bolt upright. She is one stubborn girl though - not a good sign for the future!!!
Still no teeth here either, she also won't roll over or crawl - bit like her big sister who didn;t do much then walked! Still full of colds and germs - looking forward to some warm weather. Hope you are all faring a little better!

Oh the joys, i know a little girl who would only ever have her bottle cold too, worked out well cause they never had to find a microwave to heat it up. lol.
Hopefully all the germs leave u soon, we have a cold here too, charli has a runny nose and hates it when i wipe it

    Hope everything is ok Krisvee

    Hi!

Well, I'm still very worried...had my scan on Monday and bubs showed 4w4d when by my calculations I should be around 6 week...still had cramping and spotting although it has slowed down/almost stopped now...feeling very nauseous this morning so maybe that's a good sign?
I had a blood test yesterday to check hormone levels and I'm just waiting to speak to the dr about the results but won't really know more until I have another one tomorrow...
I'm so nervous and anxious - and very confused about the dates...I just can't get my hopes up yet...

Kirra - So sorry to hear about Trav's grandad...I hope hope you're all going ok...very sad. Hope the girls are better soon!

Mak - Good to hear from you!

I hope all of you with sickies get better soon xx

Kristie - fingers crossed that all is ok. We are always here if you need to chat. As you are bfing that could have made it tricky to assess your dates properly. Did you have nausea with your other pregnancies?

Mak - I gave up on the bottle idea a long time ago. Logan takes a straw cup for water and when I wean him off the boob that is how he will have his milk. Logan is also in the slow to move department - he rolls, but no crawling anytime soon I don't think. He hates being on his tummy and immediately rolls onto his back still.

Natasha - how did you go with the tutu? Sounds gorgeous

Kirra - Hope you are both feeling better

I think that af is on the way back for me (or else I am pregnant too lol) I have had an uncomfortable tummy for the last couple of days and some lower back pain and slight nausea.... will see how i go over the next couple of days.

    Hi!

Got my bt results back and it looks good as far as we can tell - hcg is showing levels of 5-6 weeks so it's quite high considering I was only meant to be 4w5d when I got it done...just need to see if it's rising tomorrow...dr seems to think that everything will be fine but until I have that next scan I can't get too excited! LOL!

Kylie - Yeah, I did have nausea with my other p/g's...I do feel the same really - and each time I've been p/g I've got a cold which makes sense as well!
Oooh - you might be p/g too! LOL! Are you ttc?

Ok...better go and get some stuff done - Louis is at kinder, Dylan's asleep (after a mega tantrum) and Ethans playing...house looks like a bombs hit it - LOL!

    Hi ladies,

Hope all you sickies start to feel better really soon, except you Kristie - a little morning sickness may help you get through to the next scan without stressing too much - I will be thinking of you.

I also have one baby with no teeth yet - Kaylee.
Amber has 4 and has gone from starting to crawl to pulling up on everything in just over a week.
Kaylee is still playing catchups, but has almost got the hang of crawling now, although she does fall back on the commando crawl a bit if she feels she is moving too slowly.

Amber has been the first to do just about everything, including being born first, but Kaylee has acheived the most important thing first - sleeping through! She has been sleeping 10 and 1/2 - 11 hours every night for over a month now - Amber still wakes at least once a night for a drink, I'm guessing thats why she weighed half a kilo more than Kaylee at the last weight in.

I am still breastfeeding and they are both feeding well on their solids now and are pretty much having what we are and I try to have a mixture of stuff that we feed them from a spoon and finger food at each meal.

I have been MIA for a while as I have been busy (just for a change), but also had to have a tooth pulled during the school holidays as my body had started to absorb it from the roots up. Following the extraction it got infected and I ended up with a dry socket, which was extemely painful. I can definately recommend not having this done - especially when you have 4 kids in tow with your 11 year old son leaning over you saying - "does it hurt Mum?" and "whats that bit?", "you're bleeding a lot", etc, etc

Anyway, I am typing this with Amber on my knee and I need to go and wake Kaylee up to go and get my eldest daughter from the bus stop and then start the sports runs.

I'll try not to be too much of a stranger, although we are just starting to look at our childcare options for me to go back to my full 2 and a half days a week.

    Take care all

Shell - great to hear that all is going great with you all. Sounds like that tooth was a nasty one!! Well done on bfing twins for this long It sounds like you have a pretty hectic and busy household.

Kristie - Great news on the results. I suppose you could say that we are ttc as we aren't worrying about contraception at all, but we are very relaxed about it. I wouldn't even know if i am ovulating yet so it is just letting nature take its course. Dtd is only just starting to get better for us (i think due to scarring from episiotomy) - sorry if tmi.

So sorry to hear about your tooth - OUCH!
Hope you manage to pop in and say hello more often!!

Kylie - Good luck TTC! Have fun!!

As for me...I'm tired and off to bed...nighty night!!

Krisvee- im so glad to hear your scan went well. I'm sure everything will be ok

Kylie- i just seen some photo's of logan of FB, hes getting so big and hes sooo cute.

ATT- OMG... ur awesome, i can't believe your still BF them at 9 months and working thats so great u shoud be VERY proud of yourself.
Lucky u with one sleeping through, charli's longest sleep is from about 11pm-5.30am which is something but still a PITA as it would be much easier if she slept from 7-2 cause atleast then i would get some actual good sleep before she woke me up...damn teeth.
So cute they have different personalities, ouchie on the tooth, i hate dentists, i need to go back for filling but atm we dont have the money so too bad for me. lol
My poor baby has a cold and a runny nose, any suggestions on what i can do to make her feel better????

Well the funeral for DP's pop was yesterday and i felt so out of place, DP didnt even introduce me to anyone so it was very awkward, granted he doesnt really know many of them as his dad lives in USA and he hasnt seen any of his dad's family since he was a lil boy with the exception of his grandparents which he has only seen twice in the last 2 years but we did promise his nan that we would come up in a couple of months, its so sad, just thinking about it makes me cry.... being with someone for 53yrs and then having them taken from you is just heartbreaking i always tell trav he has to die after me but he says no cause i would cope better and he would die of a broken heart if i went first...how sweet, makes me not wanna grow old though. It also brought back alot of memories about my grandparent and dad who have passed and i had a lil cry last night

Well im off to have a lay down, hope your all doing well and getting over these yukky winter colds.
