Hi!
Kirra - So glad the concert went well - how cute!! Glad Charli went ok without you there! What a bugger with your heater - I hope it gets fixed soon!!!
We had a lazy Sunday - Ethan is fully crawling around everywhere and is pulling himself up to standing on anything! LOL! He's still soo sick the poor little thing - runny nose and cough...We put him to bed and he was crying and we came in and he's just sitting up crying...it seems so funny that he can do that now!! crazy!!
Poor Louis slipped off the step in the kitchen and put his tooth right through his lip...he's ok but it bled everywhere - so gross...he's so been in the wars this week...
Hope you all had a great weekend - chat later!
-
Awww poor Louis i hate accidents with blood, its so scary.
So cute bout Ethan sitting up crying, charli stands up and throws stuff outa the cot. lol.
Heater is still broken, its so cold, i dont wanna go out cause then i have to get dressed properly. lol

Hi Laies
Sorry that Ihaven'tbeen on for a while!
Kirra - Glad the concert went well. How cute. Pips concert is in December. She practices her little dance everyday without me reminding her at all(she reminds me!) - pretty bad for me being an ex dancer/teacher, you'd think I'd be pushing her to do it!
How cute that Charli is walking! Little miss Lily is taking it easy, although she does crawl - backwards! She gets around numerous other ways! She has started pushing her bum up in the air so that her arms & legs are straight. It's her yoga move! ha!
Kristie - Hope your little man is ok. Great to hear Ethan is moving about as well.
Well, little Lily has been stressing me out because she won't eat solids. I caled the MCHN the other week to see if I needed to worry about it. She said to persist & we'll see how she goes at her 8 months review. If she is still not eating we may have to see a speech pathologist. She has little bits here & there but I'm talking teaspoons not tablespoons. The complete to Piper who was/still is a garbage guts! I don't know if its all in my head but Lily's looking skinny! Poor Bub, it may be her teeth too because all 4 top teeth look like they are competeing to come out - swollen gums. Man, I can't wait for this appointment, not until 8 July. Friggin hell!
Apart from that all is well, the girls love playing with eachother. Its so cute to watch the 2 together. Lily loves it when Piper dances & she pulls this little shoulder move which is too cute! Lily loves to stand for as bit while you hold her too. Ahhh, they are soooo cute - I want another one!
Ok, well I better go - I still ave a heap of sewing to do.At least DH was home today so Piper as been helping him pave out the back & he looked after Lily this morning so that Pp & I could go to playgroup (we were stil late!). I couldn't really be bothered going but t is he last session for the term.
Ok, have a great week!
Natasha

Hi!
Kirra - I'd be dying without a heater at the moment...you poor things! Hope it's getting fixed soon!!
Natasha - Sounds like Lily isn't far off crawling!!!! I don't blame you for being a bit concerned about her solids...is she settle most of the time though?? She just might not be into it just yet..I hope everything is ok - it's awful waiting for appt's though...
It really is the best thing to see siblings playing together isn't it!! Ethan just loves his older brothers and they're just loving him as well...so nice.. - wow on being clucky for number 3!!!
Had a nice day - made yummy vanilla slices...Ethans still all snuffly so I expect him in bed with me again at some point...I dont' blame him though - it's awful to have a blocked nose...
Ok...chat later!!
-
Where the hell is everyone? Looks like I'm not the only one who has been missing in action!
I hope that everyone is well!
Kirra - hopefully your heater is fixed by now!
Kristie - hope your boys are well. yum, vanilla slices - send me one!
My girls are well. Lily is eating! Yay! Shehas 4 teeth now & is crawling. Is loving her food. I love how she opens her mouth for the next spoonful! So cute. I could have sworn that she said 'da da' the other day. Damn, couldn't she have said 'ma ma' first like my pip did!
Lily was up most of the night with her teething! She has her middle bottonm two & the top two on either side of the middle top ones(does that make sense?). My little vampire (almost) , just like her sister!
Ok, well, bedtime for me.
I really hope that we all keep this up, it would be a shame if we all lost touch after all this time! Only 4 monthsuntil our 'newborns' turn one. How very depressing!
Goodnight ladies & babies xxx
-
Hi!
Natasha - Good to hear from you! Wow at Lily having 4 teeth! Ethan is still a little toothless man but I expect that considering my other 2 didn't get teeth until they were 1!!
Glad to hear she's enjoying her food!!
Isn't it scary how fast the time has gone?
As for me...boys are sick AGAIN! Seems to just keep going around between the 3 of them...
Ethan is such a gorgeous little man - crawling around everywhere and cruising around furniture! Wants to be just like his big brothers now!
I'm actually feeling a bit nervous at the moment as dh and I had a slip up this month so am waiting anxiously to see if I'm p/g again...we had decided that 3 was enough so am a bit nervous to see what happens...would be a big fluke if I was but I'm looking forward to knowing either way...4 kids in 4 1/2 years makes me feel very nervous! LOL! I'm sure all will be ok...
Chat soon!

Hi ladies
Yep heater is all fixed.
My baby girl is still a toothless one also, alyssa didnt get her 1st tooth til she was 10months old so im hoping charli follows suit, the longer the better cause it means no biting my boob :D
Krisvee- Your poor boys, both my girls are sick ATM too, they both have colds but luckily no blocked noses just nasty lil coughs, Charli was quite sick last monday-wed. She had a high temp and i ended up taking her to the doc for them to tell me it was nothing :wall: then i took her again on sat cause she was still VERY sooky which isnt like my happy girl at all and he told me it was still nothing. Needless to say DP wasnt impressed cause he told me there was nothing wrong with her and doc costs lots of $$$$ on the weekends.
I'm tipping shes going through a lil seperation anxiety atm cause she is VERY clingy meanwhile she's eating more solids than EVER. Shes a bloody lil piggy i tell ya, 3 meals a day plus a snack, she isnt BF much either which actually has me a lil worried, i plan to express over the next 2 days and feed her bottle for a whole day so i can see EXACTLY how much shes drinking. Wet nappies arent nearly enough to ease my mind.
Well we are off to the playcentre this morning. Get well lil ones and GL with the teeth Natasha. lol
-
Hi ladies
Glad to hear you are still out there!
Kristie - I hope that your boys are better. It's like an endless cycle! Thankfully we have all been well & seem to be escaping most of th lurgies - touch wood.
Good luck with your little situation - I hope that it goes the way you want it! I wouldn't mind a 'slip up' like that!
Kirra - Poor Charli. hope she is better. Sounds like it could be teeth on your end you know. A bit of a temp, not wanting to BF - they say sometimes the suction BF creates hurts their gums while teething. You never know!
Have been lucky so far, no boob bites thankfully!
Oh wow, Piper has just flaked it on the couch next to me! Fantastic! She doesn't sleep in the afternoons anymore which is hard so this is unreal! Since Lily is asleep too I think I might join them nap too!
Speak soon ladies!

Hi all,
doesn't time get away!
Natasha, 4 teeth and crawling! Katie has 2 teeth (no boobie bites yet :crossfingers:) but hasn't worked out yet how to get herself moving...other than rolling around for a bit. We are impressed that she can sit up now though. brag, brag, brag.
Kristie, fingers crossed that a) everyone feels better soon, & b) things turn out the way you want on your slip...
Kirra, hope everyone gets well soon. I'm with you on the Doc. We went in with a whole list of things last week and 10 minutes later the Doc hadn't even touched her, answered a couple of questions & we paid the $58 bill! Still, you can't take any chances.
Katie is doing really well, most of the time. She eats like a trooper, 3 meals a day plus a snack. We've just moved her to two formula feeds during the day now that I'm working. That way her dad can take her out with him and not have to worry about rushing home for a feed...we never had much luck with expressing. She's slept through the night for 3 of the last 10 nights, which has been nice. Now if we could just get her to take proper day time naps. The best we can seem to do is two 30 minute naps, one of them 45 if we're lucky. And she fights them all the way, unless she's out in the pram with her dad, in which case she just flakes it.
Anyone discovered any food allergies/sensitivities yet? Katie breaks out in hives if she has tomato, and gradually builds up patches of eczema if she eats wheat for a few days in a row.
We did have a scare last week. I was out at a Cafe with a friend to meet her 11 week old, turned my back for a second and Katie took a nose dive out of the pram. Thank God she was more frightened that hurt, screamed for at least 20 minutes, but in the end only had a couple of barely visible bruises on her forehead...scarily from hitting a chair on the way down. You can bet she is strapped in now! Rang the Healthdirect line and they were fantastic, did an over the phone assessment which took about 20 minutes or so and made me feel so much better. And luckily we had that Doc appointment already set up for the next day, and she said the the same things they said on the phone line. DP hasn't let me forget it either. I guess it won't be the first bump she gets, but I do hope I haven't damaged her little brain by being stupid.
Anyway, take care all...I'm off to recheck the straps on the pram

Hi Fussyboots
Glad you guys are all well too.
Wow at Katie eating 3 meals & a snack. I'm just glad Lily has started wanting to eat! She's such a boob girl!
Glad she is ok after her tumble! Poor bubs! Piper & Lily are always strapped in! I guess its from the paranoia I developed when Piper was a baby. As a new born I never strapped her in, but ten when strangers would just stick their heads in the pram before I got a chance to say no, I thought, 'my god, how easy would it be for them to just pull her out & run off (see, paranoia!). so from then on she was always strapped - which was a good thing because PIper turned out to be a regular daredevil! With Lily in the Phil & Teds laying under te toddler seat at least I didn't hve to worry about kiddnapping! ha! Now though, Lily just about gets out of the rocker so that will be packed away for the next one(see how positive I am that I can convince DH for another one!)
Wow at the doctors bills! I'm lucky, our family doctor works at a bulk billing clinic. Thankfully we don't have to visit often, but when we do at least that is one less worry (although he is now working in sunbury, but hey its only 20 mins away - shame but because he used to be 5 mins away!)
Ok, Lil is up from her sleep in. WE have her 8 month MCHN appointment this afternoon. Looking forward to it.
speak soon x

Hi!
Had a shocker with Ethan last night...little bugger wouldn't go to sleep until nearly 10.30pm....GRR! Woke up for a feed at 12am and then slept until 8.30am thank god!!
He's a bit feral this morning so have already put him down for another sleep...
Fussyboots - Glad Katie is doing so well! Wow - I'm surprised at your dr's bills as well - ours bulk bills for kids under 16 I think it is...
Haven't noticed Ethan being sensitive to anything in particular - maybe hold off on the tomato for another month or so - I havent' introduced it really before 9 months as it is very acidic for them...same as orange and kiwi fruit...
Don't feel too bad about her little fall - we all have those kind of accidents with out kids - I remember DH letting Louis fall off our bed head first and Dylan went climb up onthe toddler seat of the pram once and fell head first out of it in a chemist..poor little thing had the biggest bruise!!! I nearly had Ethan fall out of a highchair at a friends last week - I didn't realise it didn't have a centre bar between his legs and didn't strap him in and he nearly slipped underneath it!!! Just got there in time!!!! LOL! (hmmm my poor kids - LOL!)
Sounds like your managing well with work and bubs!!
Natasha - Have fun at Lily's mchn - I just checked my book and I thought Ethans was this week but it'sn not until next month!!! I assume they've mucked up?? So annoyed now...I was getting excited!!
LOL - I hope you can convince dh for another one - I'm sure you will if your that clucky!!!!
As for me, I dont' think I am p/g...I think I was just making things up in my head as I was so anxious about it ifykwim??? Although it's still early days...I did a test yesterday which was bfn but as I said it's really way to early to know...We shall see...it would be such a pressure on us if I was so best that we stick with out little family of 5!! LOL!
Chat later!

I never thought that her teething would effect her BF but i guess that would make ALOT of sense. LMAO @ someone stealing the kids, i always think about stuff like that too but i have to admit i am a shocker for not strapping them in to the highchair, charli has the bar between her legs so i dont do it although i really should  but the pram shes always strapped into cause she is a lil daredevil and isnt as 'common sense' kinda smart as alyssa was, for some reason alyssa just knew danger and never tried to climb off the side of the bed or out of the high chair and pram or touch the heater, charli is a nosey one though and loves to get into everything. Her latest achievment is quite cheeky, she turn the PS3 on and when i turn it back off she goes straight back to it and turns it back on again and laughs. cheeky lil mite, daddy outsmarted her though and turned it off at the back cause he was sick of it being left on all the time....or rather her turning it on and me not knowing or forgetting about it.
Must have been the night for it last night Kris, Charli didnt go to bed til 7.30pm and then she woke up at 10.45 so i fed her put her back to bed and she WOULD NOT go to sleep, i kept going it and giving her back the dummy, i ended up giving her panadol at 11.20pm and then she went to sleep, although i think she just wanted the taste in her mouth rather than pain to stop cause she went straight to sleep and it dont work that fast. lol.
Dont feel at all bad FB everyones kids do it at one stage charli has had that many bump and bruises i've lost count already, she even cut her head, nose, lip and chin climbing up alyssa's bookcase the other week, it bled and all and scared the absolute crap outa me. lol
Our MCHN app in later this month, she'll be just over 8 months so they timed it quite well, i have so many questions i should write them down before i go otherwise i'll forget half of them with my sleep deprived brain. haha
Oh and GL Krisvee hopefully it comes back Neg for ya  and GL on convincing DH on another one Natasha, im sure he'll cave.....they always do....haha. We've decided 2 is plenty for us right now, its hard enough coping with these two some days but Charli is finally getting into a day routine which is soooooo good, with the exception of today of course, she woke up at 7.30am and still hasnt gone down for a sleep cause she is being naughty.....:wall:
Well Alyssa's playdate is due to arrive any minute so i better get off my bum and go see what she's upto. haha.
-
Hi!
Just a quick one from me - what are you guys doing for food at the moment...I'm having a creativity block - lol!!!
What is a sample day for you guys??? I
-
Food for who???
Charli has been eating weetbix or raffertys garden cereals for brekkie, yoghurt or pasta (heinz shapes from baby section) for lunch and vegies or rice with meat for dinner. Her snacks are fruit but we've stopped the banana atm cause i think its constipating her (or so the health nurse thinks anyway)
I hope thats who ya meant, lol.
-
Hi!
Kirra - Yep, that's who I meant! LOL! I was typing while holding Ethan before so made it really quick - LOL!
Thanks for that - yeah I"m giving Ethan cereal for brekky - haven't tried weebix yet but I did buy oatbrits, just haven't given it too him yet...he has veggies for lunch and then veggies & yoghurt for dinner...I've just given him toast for lunch and he's loving it!! Although I don't know how much is actually getting eaten! LOL!
Looking forward to catching up soon Kirra - hopefully next week will be better!! xo

yep, we had a bad night too, must have been the full moon. Katie cried when we put her to bed (which never happens at night) and we had to get her up for another half hour. Then at 12.30 when she got up for a feed she cried again and refused to go back to bed until 2am.
Our typical day is
6am breasfeed
8am breakfast
nap in here somewhere(30 min)
10am bottlefeed
12pm lunch
nap in here maybe (30 min)
2pm bottlefeed
nap if missed the earlier one (or a 3rd one if she got up really early)
snack in here somewhere
4.30pm dinner
bath every second day
5.30pm breasfeed
6pm bed
oh if only it were that predictable!
Katie meals are:
Breakfast: porridge (or Rafferty's cereal) with fruit (cooked apple, apricot, fig, sultana, mashed banana, fruit purees from Rafferty's or Heinz)
Lunch: various mashed veg (sometimes all of them!) with a pureed lamb or chicken casserole (fabulous recipes and ideas at homemade-baby-food-recipes.com)
Snack: rice rusks or a piece of apple (hoping to expand this soon)
Dinner: usually more fruit with maybe some veg or rice or yogurt, frequently a jar of Heinz 'dessert' types like gels, yogurts, 'custards' (not real custard.
Katie has come home from a morning out with her dad in a much more relaxed, and rested mood. Thank goodness.

Hi
We're back from our appt. We walked around since its such a beautiful day! Lily weighs 8.265kg & is 66.5cm. She's doing well which is good. Have already booked her in for her 12 month assessment - how depressing!
What a spin out reading that everyones munchkins played up last night! Lily went to bed at 7.30pm then got up at 8pm so we had to do controlled comforting for an hour before she slept then she was up at 1am until 1.45am. I fed her and she would fall asleep but would wake when put back inbed. Then she woke up an hour latthis morning at 9.30am. She better sleep all nigh tonight! ha!
Well we are prety borning with food at the moment.
Breakfast is either rice cereal/muesli, baby oats, banana or yoghurt (if we have to go out its something like that because I don't get up early enough to express milk for cereal - yep, Lily gets it fresh from the dairy!). Lunch is either a sandwich or fruit & dinner is veggies or brown rice or some of what were having if its baby friendly. She had pasta with us last night. Th we usually make a fruit platter for dessert & she'll have some banana or kiwi fruit - she loves it!
No allergies here thank goodness. Our family generally doesn't have any so ingers crossed this cntinues.
FB - I'll be checking out tat website now! It's funny, baby number 2 & its as if she's my first when it comes to food! Mum brain!
Gees, up at 6am! And I whinge about getting up at 8.30am!
Our routine is up at 8.30am, morning sleep around 11am until around 1pm, then again from around 3pm to around 5pm, then bed at 7.30pm. I breastfeed her twice between when she wakes at 5 & bed - keep her full :)
Have you tried re-settling Katie when she gets up after her short sleeps? If it bothers you have you looked into sleep schol? I did a day stay program with Piper. It's great this time around because I just fall int what I learn't there! We went to Tweedle.
Kirra - Cheeky Charli with the PS3! How cute! Lily likes ripping paper (that Pip leaves around!) & she gets into the DVDS.
Kristy - IKWYM re thinking it may be all in your head. I have been thinking that I may be pg but hav'nt bothered testing as I completely doubt it (but want it - although, to be fussy, I'd rather it later than sooner :) )Ithink my symptoms may be just that I may be starting to get my period again. What a pain. I didn't get it until Pip was 9 months last time, so lets hope it holds off a little longer!
ok, well, I have to go & sew some slippers together as I have orders to fill.
ciao ciao
-
Oh what a good guess then. hehe
Our Routine is just starting to take some shape.
Up at 6.30am and a play with dad then BF at 7am
Brekkie @ 7.50-8
Sleep from 8.30/9-10.30
BF @ 10.30
Lunch @ 11.30-12
Sleep 1-2.30
BF @ 2.30
Snack @ 3-3.30
Sleep @ 4.30 (sometimes, only if she falls asleep in the car on the way to get DP)
BF @5.30
Dinner @ 6
Bath/Shower @ 6.30/7 then BF again and into bed.
Charli doesnt seem to like toast too much, her new thing is throwing food and her sippy cup :wall: drives me nuts. Basically i try and give her whatever we are eating unless its say fish and chips where she'll get fish and vegies cause she chokes & gags on the chips
Haha Natasha, Charli loves paper too although she prefers to just eat it. haha. She is forever climbing up the fridge grabbing alyssa's drawings and trying to eat them, alyssa is constantly telling her off, it quite funny but alyssa is starting to get really upset cause charli just doesnt listen and she ruins alyssa's beasutiful artwork.
No allergies here either, charlz has had spag sauce and kiwi fruit and no reactions, havent tried her on oranges, tomatoes or strawberries yet although the MCHN says go for it. Only thing she said to hold off on is egg until about 10months and of course nuts although im not concerned with either as she has had things that contain egg and nuts and nothing so far and no history of allergies in either of our families either.
Well its shower time with daddy for charli so i better be off, the lil rascal is getting around nappyless atm and im just not as trusting of her anymore. lol
