Hi!
Thanks for all your responses!! It goes to show that there's not point reading routines is there?? Our babies are all sooo different! LOL!
FB - Glad Katie was in a good mood for you!
Natasha - Glad Lily's appt went well! Oooh you might be p/g!! Will you do a test soon do you think???
Kirra - Aren't they cheeky getting into everything now! Dylans just understanding that he's actually got a little playmate now...he crawls around with him on the floor and is starting to share toys with him now...very cute! Louis is very mothering towards him which is cute...moves things out the way that he's not meant to have or tells me if he's about to get into mischief...
Gave Ethan some steamed veggies with Dylan and he through them up!! He's a shocker with lumpy things - doesn't really have the chewing thing happening just yet...
He's gone to sleep a bit easier tonight but I put dh in charge since he was out last night!! We shall see how the night goes! I hope all our bubs decide to have a good night!!
Chat later!...

Well my night was AWESOME, sorry to brag but she slept so well. From 7.30pm-3.45am, then fed her straight back to bed until 6.15am
Best sleep i have had in AGES :D
I thoroughly enjoyed it cause i know it wont happen again for a while. lol.
Thats so cute about the boys, alyssa always tells charli no, you'd think she was her mother. haha. I have to keep reminding her not to pick her up though cause she picks her up and moves her which is good but bad cause she might drop her
Alyssa is off to the movies with my mum today so Charli and i will get some time just the two of us, not that she cares, she'd prefer to play with alyssa. lol
Anyway im off to checkout that website, might do some cooking today for miss charli.

Hi!
Kirra - Yeah on having such a great night!! Ours was an improvement but still not great - he slept from about 8pm to 2.45am fed and back to sleep but was then up at 5.15...I tried to get him back to sleep, even fed him again and he just wanted to play but then was grizzle if I plonked him down in front of the tv...grrr...so I managed to get him back to sleep just after 6am and he slept until 8.45am....So lets hope tonight tonight will be better again...LOL!
How nice of your mum to take Alyssa to the movies!! I bet she'll love that!
LOL - Yeah - I find Ethan loves to play with the boys as well...Its nice that they play well together (most of the time!!)
We're having a quiet day...boys are on the mend but there's still alot of snot around! LOL! I think I'll just aim to get some housework done and washing...
I'm sorting out my office as well...I've decided to finish selling Body shop at home stuff and the Total Learning books....I'm still going to be active and sell to family and friends but just not go out and do parties...
I'm enrolled in my Life coaching course next year so just going to chill out this year and then focus on that next year...
Ok, enjoy your day!!
-
Oooh i didnt know u did total learning books. Question for ya do they have childrens encyclopedias????? alyssa loves to learn so im gonna get her some for her birthday....
-
Yep - they certainly do! I'll show you a catalogue when we catch up!!! The books are awesome! The boys library is huge now - LOL!
-
Gosh, you girls are just supermums! You get so much done, I'm struggling with my one, even though DP is home full-time (although some days I think that creates more work )
Katie slept through from 6pm to 6am last night, that's the 4th time in 3 weeks...I think she's starting to get the hang of it. And I had a loverly sleep.
Katie hates lumpy food too, she's not a fan of chewing and she tends to just hide it in her cheeks if it doesn't just slide down her throat, and then it all comes back out when you back is turned. That's why the rice rusks work OK, they tend to kinda dissolve. There's no way she could eat what we eat, partly because we've already discovered that she's sensitive to tomato and wheat, which seems to be in everything.

Wow - I have been out of touch!
Glad to see everyone is ok...still a germ fest here. My 3yo has had the flu so has been a very cranky girl. Ash has had bronchiolitis and is just getting settled after not being able to sleep because of her blocked nose also. She has been in with us and is not so keen on changing this .
She also seems to be after more feeds, I have been trying to introduce a FF as am headed back to work shortly. She has had bottles of EBM previously but is now COMPLETELY refusing bottles, formula and EBM...little bugger. I have bought out the chemist with a variety of bottles/sippy cups, lol, but nothing has helped so far. I am hoping persistance is the key...I am caving in when she gets upset at the moment but may have to rope in some outside assistance. Any suggestions???
As for food we're doing all the same kinds of things as already suggested. I am pretty lax though as DD1 often feeds her bits of her food...she had homemade pita pizza and vegemite sandwiches before I'd planned on it. She is also partial to a cheesymite scroll. I worry abit about the salt so try not to do this too much. We haven't had any allergy issues spring upyet - touch wood it continues that way - FB that must make introducing new food really stressful.
As for being supermums - you girls are pretty amazing. We are struggling here at the moment due to chronic lack of sleep/germs....and yes our DH being home does make things harder....poor boy!
Have a great weekend girls!

Mak, we had the same problem getting Katie back onto a bottle, but luckily it only took about a week to sort. Some suggestions, which you may have already tried. Get DH to feed her while you're not around, she might be distracted by your smell of BM. Also we found for some reason that Katie breastfeeds lying down, but drinks a bottle sitting completely upright. Up until a couple of days ago it would take a good 10 minutes to get her to take it too. I use to shove it in her mouth and shake it about to get some drops in, just to give her the taste, she thought it was a great game. She still doesn't drink as much as they suggest but she is consistent, 120ml mid-morning, and 150ml mid-afternoon. I guess the other thing is to try a different brand of formula...

Hi girls - sorry it has been so long since I last posted. I have been loosely following everything through the email updates.
It seems that everyone seems to be going along well (apart from those rotten colds that we can't seem to escape!). We moved into our house just over a month ago and the computer is in the study and not as easily within reach so I tend to not jump on as much.
Logan is going really well. He was 9.3kg at his 8 month appt and he now has his 3rd tooth. Unlike some of your bubbas though Logan is quite happy lying on his back or sitting playing. He has no inclination to start crawling just yet. He still hates being on his tummy, and rolls straight on to his back when i put him on it, He happily rolls onto tummy to reach a favourite toy and then rolls straight back over.. Anyway I am in no rush to hurry him.
Mak - we have never had bottle success and I have decided that is not too big a deal now as when i go out he can manage without milk until I return. He is eating everything and drinking water. Logan is following BLS approach and eats what we eat too :)
Natasha - I haven't got my AF back yet either, but DH and I have decided to let nature take its course in regards to having a second bub. Not officially trying, but also not using contraception etc. It took us 6 months last time to fall pregnant so we are unofficially starting now and being relaxed about it. Last time it got crazy sometimes!!!
Hi to all the rest of you I will catch up next time xx
-
Hello all,
Mak, def no supermum here, moody mum maybe. lol. I onyl get on when charli is alseep, alyssa entertains herself most of the time. lol.
FB- i'll swap babies with u, haha, charli was sleeping really well until last couple of nights, she woke up 3 times last night and alyssa woke up twice :wall: so one really horrible night for me :(
Kylie- Logan sounds like he is doing great, i love how charli moves but sometimes i wish she didnt cause she gets into EVERYTHING
Still no AF for me either, im hoping it never comes back. lol. I ended up doing a preg test yesterday cause ive been feeling sick on and off almost everyday for the past week and a bit, luckily it came back negative cause atm we really couldnt afford it, i'm even trying to find a job at night so def not the right time for us. GL with all those of u trying to conceive though :)
I better go fold my washing otherwise i wont be able to find clothes for the girls to wear. haha

Hi!
Kirra - It was so fantastic to meet you and little Charlie today!! She's such a gorgeous little girl and did so well staying up so long!! I really hope that you get a good nights sleep tonight!! Thank you so much for coming!
Hi to everyone else!!!
We're going well - all the boys are much better! Ethan's getting into lots of mischief crawling around and being so gorgeous clapping hand and giving high fives! He also gives me kisses now which is just so cute!! He's such a cruisy little boy now compared to when he was a baby...such a pleaser...
Ok...hope you're all well - chat later!
-
No prob Kris, it was nice to finally meet you. haha. The boys are so cute, they all look similar but still have there own looks if that makes sense.
Charli didnt sleep well at all, the joys of teething but nurofen helped a lil.
Dinner was on the table as soon as we walked in the door, DP and Alyssa had just sat down and i struggled to get through it. lol. Was yummy though.
Still feeling sick so off to the doc today, im thinking maybe something to do with my iron or some other vitamin levels ???? i dunno, its not like i dont eat a good range of food so who knows.
Well better finish up on here so i can maybe make muffins.....
-
Hi!
LOL...I ate some leftovers at about 8pm!!! I wasn't hungry either!! Nice that it was cooked for you though! Sorry to hear Charli didn't sleep so well...hope she's good for you today!

Hi!
Kirra - Hope you're feeling better...
Well, I have some news...I'm p/g! A big shock - had a teary this morning but am ok..not sure how I'm going to cope with 4 under 4 1/2!!!!! I thought we were ok this month because I had af but obviously it was implantation...We are so super fertile! Dh is freaking out but I'm sure everything will be ok...
Chat later..
P.S Kirra don't put anything on facebook please - I haven't told anyone!! Thanks!
-
Wow Kristie - fantastic news, you are definitely going to have your hands full!!! When did you get AF back? I still haven't got it back but am wanting to TTC. I'm still bfing so we are just leaving it to chance :)
Kirra - How are you? Nothing worse than feeling sick when you have little ones to look after.
We are just cruising along atm, nothing special to report. Logan is still not in a hurry to get off his back hehe I'm not rushing him to crawl as I am still enjoying not having to chase after him...
-
Hi girls!
It's been a very long time since I last posted. I actually forgot this site existed for awhile. But now I'm baaack! :) I hope I'm still welcome! I've had a quick scan through the previous posts to try and catch up with everyone's news but I've missed so much so I think I'll just start from here!!
My little boy Samuel is doing so well. He's got two bottom teeth and I think he's got another two coming on the bottom (not next to the others though - what a little freak :) )
and he's crawling and pulling to standing and has just started to 'cruise' around furniture. He is so active and really keeps me busy!
I hope everyone's doing really well and I will try to be more sociable from now on...
-
Hi!
Kylie - I've had one af back since having Ethan which was about 5 or 6 weeks ago! Although in saying that I fell p/g with Dylan without af returning - must have been my first cycle that I ovulated and I fell p/g (completely by chance!) I'm still bf also...you never know when it will happen - I feel p/g with my boys about 9-10 months after giving birth the second 2 times and this time it is even closer again!! Omg...crazy! LOL! Good luck!
Melanie - Great to hear from you! Sounds like you and little Samuel are doing well!
So I've got a rotten cold and the boys are sick again...grrr...I've spent the day in my pj's! LOL! Might have to be takeaway for dinner I think...LOL! At least I've got an excuse now that I'm p/g again...LOL!
Oh yeah - and Ethan's first tooth came through yesterday!!!
