I love you all in your avatars

Well... Jovie's done well today, I've had a shocker though with Matilda. She ran off today at South Bank & it took 15 minutes to find her, on a main road... on the way to the train station... its a long story and my stomach lurches even thinking about it, so I'm drinking wine trying to forget.

    Hi ladies

Why dont these babies just sleep?? I dont get it. Ella's feeling much better these days. But she's still feeding so much during the night. I weighed her and she lost weight but she refuses to eat during the day. Waking every 2hrs for a feed and then takes about 30-60mins to get back to sleep - with rocking, patting singing. (otherwise she cries and cries). I'm exhausted. DH is waking up and helping at 3am and 6am and he has to go to work!

I dont know what's gone wrong or how to switch her feeding to the day. When i put her to bed at 7 she wakes up 2-3 times before i go to bed then every 2hrs after that (sometimes every hour). I use to just pop the dummy back in but now that just wont do...

Sorry i'm just rambling... i've gotta get ready for a meeting at work now. Hope i dont fall asleep.

    Ann

Oh Ann..poor thing.. i hope Ella settles soon for you.

Chels woke up at 4am...settled til 415....then wide awake in our bed til 5i5am..so i got up and rocked her to sleep within 10 mins....all back in bed by 530!!

At care today so i have the day to myself!

Oh christy i cant even imagine that feeling...well, i can but i dont think i want too!
blanche, i hear you, i'm addicted too

Ok, i've pretty much had it. evie is up every hour and a half and this has been for weeks. i dont know if i should be doing something differently or what. i dont even remember when she used to sleep properly.
we're moving her to her own bedroom to see if that helps but i just dont get it. what am i supposed to do! someone tell me, please!

Hi have just stumbled across this thread my DS was born 08/11/2006.

Luua we've had the same probs with Jake and I was beside myself with exhaustion. We fixed it in on enight but it may not appeal as we used controlled crying.

Personally I don't like it but it was a last resort next to being admited to hospital with a breakdown. My Dr put me on sleeping tabs for a week and my DH did the nights. We went from waking 2-3hrs for feeds (BF) to now sleeping through until 5am at the earliest.
