Hi girls just catching up! I did a huge post & then both girls did a poo so by the time I came back the computer had timed out

We have always had a set night routine, maybe not anal about times etc, but very much so the order of what happens at night. Matilda really responds to routines and I don't, so we developed a rhythm of our nights & Jovie has fit into it perfectly.

At the moment, both girls eat dinner at around 5pm - any later & Matilda is too tired to eat. Then they both go to the bath together. Then Jovie has a cuddle and we read books together & then I feed Jovie & she goes to bed. Time is dependant on her tired signs... usually its between 6.30-7pm. Matilda then stays up & plays a game or two with DH and then we read stories to her again in her bed & she goes to sleep depending on her tired signs. But for Matilda she has to go to her bed at 8pm no matter if she's tired or not, we just read extra stories in her bed with her & spend quiet time there.

Anyway... Jovie's not sleeping well again & I think its her second tooth.... silly things those teeth!!!

Hey there is a song by that name isnt' there

oh the joy of motherhood....I have to tell you this story, just so you all know what you have to look forward too... My big kids have jobs that they do each day/week, and get paid pocket money for doing them ($6/week) that they bank, and can save up for things etc. There is two job lists, that they alternate each week, that is on the fridge so they know what they have to do. I have been threatening that if they didn't stop moaning about doing their jobs, that I would stop it - they wouldn't have to do jobs, but they wouldn't get paid either. I get so sick of hearing my own voice nagging all the time, so tonight after their moaning and groaning I did it! so now they are both walking around with long faces... I wonder how long it will take them to discuss between themselves what they need to do to make it right... oh joy. As for Aston he is peacefully sleeping...for the moment.

Taralee - I love the b&w of your DH and evie, nose to nose. its gorgeous.
