Thanks for the info Nelly. I think we all use our best judgement at the time (often not always the best when sleep deprived) and in hind-sight we have "oh i shouldnt have done that". But we're so desperate to help our babies we'll do anything.

Well I had 5 hours sleep last night - woo hoo! So much better than 3hrs. She fed at 11 and then woke up at 4am. Patted and rocked her for 1.5hrs when i realised the cheap-o emergency nappies i put her in were damp. Popped her in fresh nappy and she went to sleep after a quick rock.

On the food front she's still not back to her usual self but at least its an improvement from earlier this week where she refused everything. Still not keen on BFing - I wonder why. She's not eating that much that she's cutting out BF. She just seems distracted (even in her favourite feeding place) hmmmm...

Ann - Jake started doing that on his 10am BF a week or so ago so I stopped offering it and he has never missed it. Maybe she's self weaning?
