i got af on mothers day, lasted a week. then got it about a week and a half ago and it lasted a couple of days. ive never been regular tho and have endo. but i thought it wouldve been around longer by now.
lol we talk about planning number 2 as well but it always just trails off lol
Well I've had it. I'm making an appointment at the gp because I can not function on no sleep. Going make sure that there is nothing physically wrong with Aston - then if all good, cutting out the night - i love you mummy comfort feeds that have been happening, and teach this boy that night time is for sleeping - not having a party. last night was a bit better then the previous night, (got the bruers relief - so may have been that) until 3.30 when Aston decided that now was a really good time to awake - I sqwack and someone comes - flap flap flap big grin time to play.... so I knew there was nothing wrong other then I want to play with you mummy.... so I stroked his head, rolled him over on to his side, patted bottom - told Dh to go back to bed, theres nothing wrong with him - and he settled, and I got back into bed - walked into the door - both of them (which is prone to happen when you are so tired you have forgotten which way you were going - to or was it fro?) to have DH say - great, walk into the doors (you see - I was doing it on purpose which i snapped out at him. and he says "well at least you don't have to work tomorrow (now - this statement really gets my goat, because I have been telling him for over a week to sleep in the play room, as I can't see the point of BOTH of being completely shattered. There has to be at least ONE sane functioning person in a house of three kids!!) No where was I - before I starting ranting there.. oh yes .. i have to work statement... took umbrage to that one too - because I don't work... what I do all day, every day is just a stroll in the park, watching the grass grow, easy peasy not alot... remind me - how exactly do those clothes get from the dirty washing basket and back into my wardrobe?? or "how does that food get from the shop into my fridge then onto a plate in front of me - only for the kitchen to magically all clean itself again..." etc etc etc...
sorry ladies - i'm with you Kim and Blanche - i'm sending mine to Canberra too!!! arghhhhh
Forgot to say nelly - AF returned 4mths ago for me - which was a rude shock as it was a lot longer when I had Nathan... different with everyone - I was nine mths with Nathan, and 7mths with laura - but that was when I stopped breastfeeding completely with her, and she slept through from 6 weeks. Where as Nathan it stopped when he stopped night feeding (hmmmm I sense a pattern here nathan did the same thing Aston is doing now... uhhuh ... )
that aside - you could still be ovulating, and could fall pregnant if you knew when that was happening - if you are seriously considering trying again soon, means you don't have to wait for AF to return... if that makes sense...
Nelly- AF returned....hmm i guess straight away for me
Tara- Why am i in pain... good question.... since about 2am ive been getting cramps and pains all down my right side in into my pubic area.....yesterday bub was kicking alot on that side so not sure if thats got anything to do with it or not? Great to hear Evie seems to be getting better....so happy for you
Ann-Bugger your still having a tough time.
Vicky- Seems ur having a tough time still too....HUGS!
Im sorry if ive missed any one's important posts.... i cant think straight. Craig is coming home tonight now....im dreading it... i feel so shallow with how ive treated him the last few days.....i kinda feel embarrassed to see him. But i hope i can talk it thru with him and sort it out, he is just trying to do his best for our family and i went loopy!
Vicky - We went to see the GP and he was saying i need to try and get more sleep. Yeah Right. So we got a referral to Karitane after he gave Ella a clean bill of health. My back and wrists are aching from the rocking and patting - so I've gotta stop it. Hope your visit goes well and you get some relief from the night shenanigans.
Kim - Put it down to hormones. You are allowed to be loopy in your state. You just want to know you have his support...totally understandable.
Oh Vicky, you poor dear. come down for a drive and we can laugh and cry over our crazy kids together.
it's such a little gem isnt it? 'you dont have to work tomorrow'. i also like 'you get to sleep in...and sleep during the day when she sleeps'.....enough said. thats when i tell
a) Stop right there
b) you just dont get it, do you?
c) that couch is looking pretty comfy. i'd make myself at home if i were you
i have, however, heard mutterings of 'how the hell do you do this on your own' they were enough to satisfy me for a while.
but on a more serious side. even if the gp says everything is fine, that might be enough for you to relax and then aston will sense that you're relaxed. Maybe he's waking up because he can sense you're stressed when you go back to settle him and either doesnt feel "safe" to go back to sleep, or thinks 'hmm, something's up with mum, i'm going to stay up and see what happens'.
Oh Vicky I know how you feel... as for the "go to work" thing I know exactly what you mean. Similar thing happened here a few weeks ago I had that horrible vomit virus. Up all night vomiting said the DH pls don't go to work I can't do Jake today am totally washed out. Of course he goes to work bcos I am already at home so who needs to stay at home! I'l try to be home early... 4pm waltzes in and then has a nap!!!!!!! Guess who comes down with it 48hrs later and took 2 days off to recover? aaarrrrrggghhh! I need to sleep he says... can you pls get me a drink I'm totally washed out.... helllooooo try looking after a baby tooo!!!!!!!
anyways (deep breath straighten shoulders) good luck with settling the nights try to start on a Friday night so there is no work excuse. Good advice too tara...
Kimbaz hope ur ok - is it ligament or BH do you think? As for your behaviour you are pg for heavens sakes - you have more hormones running rampant in your body than a class full of 13 yr old boys - cut yourself some slack! And try to relax too no point getting all tense bcos I'm sure that sets the hornones into a frenzy and there goes your brain - well what's left of it atm... gosh the things pg does to you!
Hope everyone else's days are ok. We're off to dr soon for cough check up....
i have been doing that actually, it seems to be going ok. she's still working on the swallowing thing? did everyone else's babies do that too? take a while to realise they can swallow it?
i think i need to add a touch of water so it isnt so gummy and that might make it easier to swallow
Vicky - thats wat we have been fighting about here, DP thinks i just sit on my fat ar*e all day (i wish) lol and when i ask him to do something he whinges and moans about it..very frustrating..things are better today though. hope Aston goes well tonight for u. :hugs:
Good evening all how was your day mine was ok i went to work again and then had to catch up on some sleep my self clean the house go shopping and now relaxing befor Georgia wakes up for her bath
Yeh Georgia is the same she swallowed straight away too!!!!! but if she doesn't like the food she will spit it out like she is doing rasberries she is so checky
Thanks girls. I have been in contact with Craig a little earlier and things seem great. I said i was so sorry and that i went off for no reason etc.. and he was sorry how it all went but going to talk all about it when he gets home. ATM stuck in Canberra cos their flight cant get clearance to take off due to the weather...
Kim I'm sorry to hear that Craig were bad, its great to see that you guys are working on resolving things. I don't know how I would cope with all of what is going on with you two & having an 8mth old & being pregnant. *hugs*
Us... well Jovie had a bout of croup this morning Its so awful. She woke up okay and was snotty and a bit chesty... but nothing much. DH had her up so I could sleep & I woke up & could hear this horrible wheezing sound. I came out of the bed room & she was coughing which sounded like a dog barking & wheezing. So I jumped into the shower with her to help settle it down, she fed and was happy but making a horrible sound so we went to the GP. By the time we were seen it settled more, and he said that it sounded like croup. To be honest it wasn't as bad as when Matilda had it. When Matilda had it, it sounded as though she couldn't breath at all & was gasping for breath... horrible.
Its awful croup. There isn't anything you can do for it but have some steroids in your fridge ready to go. Tonight she got wheezy again so we put on the vapouriser & gave her the steroids before bed. I know I'm not suppose to pre-empt croup, but I don't think I could go through it again.
