Hi Ladies, I seem to be having similar probs with Baylees sleeping as most of you.
We were doing really well until we went away to Bali in April, then he started playing up. Waking several times a night, we just thought it was b'coz he was sleeping in our room at the hotel but it continued when we got home, and still continues to today. I've stopped feeding him at night( I'm still BF) I'll only give him water if he's really going off. It's doesnt seem to be working though , he still wakes 3-4 times a night. GRRR

Other than that hes a beautiful little boy, whos first 2 teeth have just broken through on the bottom, hes sooooo active, hes always crawling around or cruising/walking around holding the furniture, and opening and closing cupboards, thats his latest favourite.
Hes an absolute garbage guts also, he eats everything and anything, I've yet to find something he doesnt like.
As for me personally, Im trying hard to find a sat job, for some me money, I miss that and our house is on the market. If it sells we will build my gream home Bigger and Better, so fingers crossed.
Well thats the last couple of months of my life condensed to a couple of paragraphs for you, I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, especially Christy, lucky girl going away.

Arghhh Ella woke up every hour last night. Crying in pain from her teeth. I put bonjela on her gums and ended up giving her panadol as well as she was still crying a few hours after that.

Does anyone know if Nurofen is better than panadol for teething.

Other than that we've got a weekend of 1st birthday parties. The one on Sunday is a Pirate party - so i'm gonna draw a pirate mustache on ella - LOL!

Hi Ann - Sorry bout the crappy nite u had last nite. I personally love nurofen for teething, I use panadol also (I alternate them both), but I find the nurofen lasts longer, and being an anti-inflamatory I think its a little more effective.
I hope 2nite is better for u both
BTW very cute idea bout the moustashe.

Hi guys - sorry haven't been around much!

Ann I alternate nurofen and panadol too - nurofen he has after his dinner at night and that has been getting him thru till about 4 or 5 then I give him panadol during the day. He's second top tooth is about to cut and he has been much better now I'm using the Nurofen compared to the hellish ride we had with the other one last week and only panadol!

I want to see pics of the pirate!

    Have a good weekend all!

ANN you have to post pics of ella with ther moustashe!!!

Sophie had her first bowl of spag bol tonight including parmasen chesse!!! went down very well, had it all over her face!!!

at work we would alway suggest nurofen over panadol for tooth aches so i assume thae same would apply to teething!!!

We tried nurofen last night and she missed her 10pm feed and woke up at 3am! Gave her one boob and she went back to sleep till 5.30 and then got up for the day at 6.30am

I'm sold. Much better than waking up every hour with Panadol.

Gotta get the little nugget up now for her pirate party. She's sleeping for 2hrs in the morning these days and then an hour in the afternoon.

I'll definitely put her pirate pic up! LOL poor thing she has NO say....!

Aw how cute Vicky... we have 2 teeth now!!

Ann love the pic.. Ella looks like a cutie.

We had a normal weekend... Chelsea does not sleep on weekend during the day when daddy is home....thinks she might miss something! So we have had an extemely grizzly lil girl on our hands!! 13 days to her baptism and my folks and PIL's come down... cant wait!!

    Quick qu for you all:

Who has turned their car seats forward facing now?

I dont want to turn Chelsea til bub is here.... in fact MIL is bringing down a brand new seat for Chelsea...that way we can just leave the existing seat in the car for M2...
Cant believe only 13 weeks (give or take) til my bubby is here... soooo excited!!

    Morning ladies!!

We have had Jake forward facing since he came out of his capsule - he was twisting himself in knots trying to see over his should and he was getting way too heavy to try and get out that way. I found forward facing much easier to get in and out and he's not a wee man. He loves looking out the window and watching the world go by, and looking through the front windows too!

Gotta love the nurofen - I think it has made this second top tooth cutting so much less painful and now we have 4! 2 top and 2 bottom and when both sets cut the LH was within days of the RH one. Poor sausage I think the ones next to them are getting ready too...

Well my little man had been discover ing how he can putt things off the coffee table and this morning discovered the lolly box that DH had out last night. I can out of the bathroom to find lollies spread all over the lounge floor and Jake stuffing his mouth as quickly as possible! lOl I could have killed him except I was laughing so much as he picked up and black jelly bean, crammed it in when he swa me and then prompty spat it out in disgust! That will teach him! Lucky we don't normally have sweets except was DH bday on Sat.

It looks like we are all over our bugs Jake just has a lingering cough now that should clear soon I hope. He still has a bit of a husky voice in the morning when he wakes up and sounds so cute. He currently babbling away at his reflection in the tv cabinet!

Wow Kim time will fly and we'll be commiserating with you as you get to the 40 wk mark and are over it!

Hope all are ok yay on the teeth for everyone and the sleeping / eating is on the up for everyone. How are the bugs?

    Take care lovely people
