Morning ladies!
We are much better! Jake decided to wake at about 330 and have a sing, a play and walk around his cot but once he got cold he decided he'd had enough and daddy settled back to sleep! I was in bed by 9 so I had a good sleep too!
We had a Father's Day morning tea at our playgroup this morning and Darren came - on threat of "if you don't come to this how many of his school things will you miss bcos of work?" - and we had a ball!
Jake has gone for a nap and I think I will too - he wants to walk everywhere now using me as his balance so I am exhausted and my back is a bit sore!
i'm sitting in the study, and aston is at my feet playing with his xylophone, very gently making music with a big grin on his face. his fine motor skills are being refined more and more each day. I can't believe how lucky I am. He is such a precious happy little boy - who has brought so much job to our family - he has made our family complete.
sorry feeling a little emotional today... being a big sooky la la
sooky sooky lala away!

AJP - thanks. Love looking at how Sophie's growing. They're similar in age and from memory she's was a light baby too. How much does she weigh now a days?
Ella loves to stand but will only pull herself up on my hands. She has been able to bear weight since she turned 6mo. She rolls from front to back in both directions but cant go from back to front.
Shes a contented baby and is happy sitting and playing shaking her maracas and banging her tambourine.
Vicky - we have such musical babies!
Christy - what are you using for the eczema?
Blanche - good luck with seeing someone.

Glad to hear all is well Tara!
Well we didnt have our Midnight nightmare last night... yay!!!
remind me again Tara - what is happening tuesday?? I've forgotten - god my brain is bad at the moment. getting through each day without forgetting something is a major accomplishment at the moment, let alone thinkning about a week away! eekk... i'm losing my ability to think. oh dear. lol
vicky sounds like you need a nice glass of wine!! sav blanc??
kim we have a medium too, it will fit chelsea dont worry!!
Oh good....ill make them fit her!!
Hello!!!
My brain is fuddled, we just got back from the allegist. Matilda's allergic to milk, oats, banana and almonds. And Jovie's allergic to milk, banana and oats. So even though I haven't given her milk and banana, I've been giving her oats & lately I've been bathing her in oats & lavender oil to help her ezcema.... so the baths were exacerbating her allergy  can't win. Feeling full of mummy guilt atm, and I'll get over that soon enough. Matilda's got issues but I posted that in the childrens medical conditions LOL
Today went well DP is feeling alot better, only had one attack today so fingers crossed its all up hill from here on :)
Christy, thats good that u know now wat they both are allergic too. wat tests do that do to find out?
quick post - hectic running everywhere day - Tara do you mean Thursday at Roma ST park lands?
Is that tomorrow??? OMG I totally forgot about that one, sorry Nelly!!! With all your hard work organising it.
Matilda is going to Montessori tomorrow for 2 hours, bit nervous because its been a hard transition for her. Then after 12 we are okay.
Jovie is starting family day care on Monday, its good because I can go in to breastfeed as its around the corner from my work. Bad because I'm feeling like I'm loosing my baby.
holy hell i thought you said 4th september!?!?!
hmmm interesting... are we all suffering from mummy fatigue - it sure as hell sounds like it. lol.... I k now I am.!!! this evening was the first time in DAYS where I have been able to sit down and look at the stars and listen to the frogs,, and enjoy spring approaching - without SOMEONE (pick four) wanting something from me!!!! ( she heaves a massive sigh of relief out!@!!) it was wonderful. truly lovely.
so much so that i am going to go and put permanent chairs off my study, so I can walk outside, and enjoy the sun!!! God i love living here. (didn't last Friday - but have recovered from that) Tonight - I love it. lol...
i have a mediation appointment tomorrow at 11.00 which I am SOOOOO not looking forward to, but are hoping like mad will bring some relief to this exceptionally awful situation I am in with laura and nathan's father. (she breathes out again!)
sorry for the vent... thinking of you all... its a full moon, and its sending me zany!!
Will be thinking of you tomorrow Vicky!!
Hi ladies
Well Ella slept in this morning so we ALL slept in, which meant we had to run around like headless chooks getting ready for work.
Christy - thinking we need to get an allergy test done too. Does you general GP do it? Her eczema is just not improving.
I looked at recent pics of Ella and realised she's turning into a little girl. Time has just flown for us!
Ann
ann it's so hard to beleive their all turing one soon, too soon!!!!!!!
was thinking about ella today, perhaps try and just put her on the floor either tummy or back not sitting, so she has to learn to move herself and teach herself to sit up, this will happen when the crawling happens does that make sense??
NO it's next Thursday stop stressing - the 6th!!!
All quite in here today!
How was the sleeping overnight ladies.. ours was crapppppp. We went out for dinner to celebrate our website launch...any excuse will do ;)
So Chels was in bed a bit later then normal....round 9pm.....well from then on in she woke numerous times until 2am....but then slept til 730am! Today she has had about 1 hour in total of sleep!
More fluffy mail arrived today!!! OMG i am so confused how i do the stupid Cute Tooshie Bamboo delight nappy back up....but ill work it out. Also got a Green Kids pocket, and a Bubblebubs AIO.
Kim our night was crappy too Jake has been practicing his walking around the cot and his ear has still been giving him grief too.... plus he has decided his new get up time is 5.30.... great!
crap night here too - aston was basically awake (sure felt that way) from 10 when we went to bed, until 2 when I gave him some nurofen - then slept til 6 - duh vicky - TEETH!! so I was tired and cranky this morning. Had to go to the doctor for bt results - which weren't entirely great (another story!) then off to the mediation session - which was the beginning of the process - if ex doesnt agree to go - well so be it - but I got heaps out of today, and if he does go it will be a bonus. so what started as a crappy day, ended pretty good on a high note, with DH helping nathan build his birthday presents, Laura playing with her new phone (!!!) and mummy running around like a chicken with her head cut off doing dinner bath bed x 3. all are sleepng now, so its quiet time for me. yay.
We slept OK. Ella woke up a few times until her night feed at 10.30 then slept till 6.30.
AJP - She goes on her tummy everyday but she rolls onto her back straight away. I've tried putting interesting stuff in front on of her but she just wants to get off her tummy. (her tummy is rolly polly)
On her back she is happy to lie there and play...
In the bath she will lean forward and pull herself (half) up on the rim of her bath.
Dunno - i think that she'll just move when she wants to.
Going to the GP tomorrow to chat about her weight loss. Its a mystery - she has 7 cubes for lunch and 10cubes of chicken rice vegies for dinner these days plus a custard dessert. WHERE is she putting it!?
Ann
Oh girls, i just read the news story about the 2 week old baby mauled in perth by their pet husky. please please please let's pray for the family. i feel absolutely devastated after reading it it makes me sick to my stomach. lets just remember how lucky we are and that all these "problems" we think we have with our babies are so petty. God bless baby Kate.
Yes very sad story..the poor bubi girl wat a horrible thing to happen, her family are in my thoughts.
How sad...i feel for these poor lil kids that havent had a chance in life :(
Its so sad taralee, I went to work tonight & a lady there had a puppy & was pregnant and she said she was petrified. She said she was going to try & sell the puppy now because she couldn't get over the fear. I talked with her about it & said I would help do some pre-baby training for her because I felt so sad for her. She had a husky & was petrified that this 10 week old puppy would kill her baby which is due in 2 months.
I think it is so sad and so strange, because its so not in dogs nature to do what that dog would have had to have done. And so awful because the family has lost their special baby. I think I have to know more to pass judgement but at the same time I don't really want to know more...
We are having better nights. I'm pretty sure having 3 teeth come out in 1 week was the cause for the horrible sleeping. Last night, Jovie slept better than Matilda and me. Then again, I wasn't sleeping because I was thinking of Matilda  then I couldn't function today.
Horrible news. I cant imagine losing your baby that way (and losing your dog too!)
Sad sad...
Ann
it was terrible wasnt it :( such a horrific thing to happen to anyone.
ANN how did you go at the Dr's??? boy she's certainly eating enough sophie only has half that amount!!!

Oh I just couldnt get over that poor baby last night! i just couldnt stop thinking about it.
we're having better nights too, last night it was bed at 6(she missed an afternoon nap and was sooo tired) woke at 11 (HOLY COW! 5 hours!!!!) then at 330 (Not bad!!!! 4.5!!) then had a poo at 545 - which is about when she wakes up anyways! but i cant complain!!
