Woohoo AJP (or Jols) for the teeth. Watch out for the nibbling!

Tara - we're seeing the physio in a few weeks. Every time Ella goes for tummy time she rolls over straight away. I can't keep her on her tummy. So we'll wait to see what ideas the physio has to say...velcro her down??

Kim - that's so fast. I remember when you'd just told us...are you less nervous about the birth?

Went swimming today with little Ella. She loved it giggling and kicking her feet. A happy little muffin. I'll enroll her to swim class when she turns 1.

Blanche pg with a lil one is easy.....except maybe urs might be a tad harder cos Emelia is older and wants to do more things, more active etc.....bit like Chelsea now....starting to get hard and picking her up is a challange..LOL

But ill let u know the fun size when i have the 2 kids here....and how ill cope

Ann im petrified about the birth...worst then first time cos i know wat to expect this time..sure it might be different but i know the basics KWIM? Excitement is taking over nervous atm......every lil niggle i get im thinking OMG is this it....lol

I want to get Chels into swiming classes....but then i think, hmmmm im gunna have to squeeze my butt into cossies then...and ppl will see me.... *shocking look and thought*!!

We had a crap night. As per usual when we go to bed i check on Chels and tuck her in.. and the little bugger woke (this was 11.30pm) when i was moving her....wide awake....1.30am comes and i finally give up..she wont sleep so i left her screaming and then went to bed and lost it myself...

Ah the joys.....but KID FREE DAY wooohooo

right - this pregnancy thing had better not be catchy!!! nahhhh only joking guys... I'm very happy for all of you that are (including you Tara if it is to be)

What an interesting morning I have had - Dh's car wouldn't start and some how that ended up being my fault ??!!?? When I suggest "ring the RACQ" I promptly get moaned at. I swear I could have wacked him. He ended up gettng a lift from someone he works with - I rang the RACQ who got it started !! surprise surprise. Men and their friggin egos!!

Aston going down to have a sleep in a little bit - because he is waking at 6, by the time 8.30 rolls around he is ready for bed again. Then we are supposed to be goign out to meet mums and bubs - see how I feel. AF is visiting with a vegence, and I am in a fair bit of pain - oh the joys of being a woman!!

vicky - that's usually me doing the moaning and sighing and DH calling RACQ!

Wow how many bubbas have we got coming now?? We aren't ttc yet but maybe in the next few months we will start thinking about it - no AF yet.

Sorry have been slack and not reorganised brissy meet up when is good for you local girls - Vicky has her vote for Friday.... me I can do Wed Thurs or Fri this week or Wed Thurs next week.

*sigh* not feeling all there atm don't know if it is residual stress from my gf who's wedding is next weekend - and I am a bmaid - or if I am just getting run down. Had her shower lunch on Saturday has a few glasses of wine and was drunk! Woke up yday with a bit of a hangover but was home by 4pm and in bed by 9.... just getting old I think. DH was excited he though that with me being tipsy we might have a daytime special and dtd but that wasn't meant to be either!

I finally got Jake to eat some baby food I made on the weekend by putting it into a jar - cheeky monkey. Thank goodness buying jars was getting expensive!

Vicky - that's great that Aston is holding himself up now.

Kimbaz - i have a 8.5kg gal and i can't get the Cute Tooshies over her chubba thighs! So sometimes, it's not entirely about them fitting into the weight range, it's also partly things like "shapely thighs" ROTFL - just like her mother!!! Very glad we found other brands that are better for her ample thighs!

Ann - it makes me smile thinking of Ella splashing about , how cute! I have never taken bilby swimming, feeling unsure how to manange the poo part. Sounds ick huh? but it puts me off doing it. Everyone else and their dog take the baby swimming, i feel like i'm missing something obvious.

Taralee - keep us posted heh? And don't beat yourself up about one drink, i'm sure you wouldn't if you knew you were preg, that's a big difference. Mother guilt starts = even before you've conceived!

i made damn sure i had a ****tail last week when i turned 40. Bollywood Blockbuster. At a sunday lunch, no-one else had alcohol, i didn't care, i was having my ****tail!!!

Fridays used to be ok for me til I started swimming lessons. And Thursday afternoons at 3.15 Nathan has tennis lessons... far out! Wednesday works, because football training is over.

I had some distressing news this morning. Very close friends of mine, that I have known since I was 19, his mum is terminally ill, and only has a couple of months left. She was diagnosed with an agressive form of cervical cancer in April this year, had a complete hysterectomy, and two lots of chemo. When I saw them about 3 weeks ago, he said she was doing well - but when I looked at his wife I kind of got the feeling that it was not the case, and he didn't want to talk about it anymore, so I left it. This morning I heard from his wife, and things aren't good. Its amazing how something like this can pull you back from fretting and stressing about stuff I have no control over anyway, and put a completely different perspective on it. I feel like I have been given a gentle nudge that says "stop stressing - start living!" I think I have just pulled myself out of the hole I was in...

Vicky - very sad indeed. It does put all our lives into perspective doesnt it.

Gigi - I think its quite natural for them to enjoy floating around in water KWIM. Ella loves the warm indoor pools hates the outdoor pools. Just Whack a swimmer nappy on her and take the plunge haha. Poo and all.

Ella's favourite place to poo is in the bath. The number of time's i've had to re-run and re-run the bath! Just the other day we finished the bath, I picked her up and there was a poo. So i dunked her into the basin and washed her again.

We'll probably start trying next year. Can't wait actually...am i mental??

I'm sorry to hear your news Vicky, and it's sad that it always takes something like that for us to take a step back.

we've been having a crappy couple of nights here. obviously teeth are the problem. but this afternoon/evening she's been rubbing her eyes heaps, they are so red, and her nose is just running (which i know is related to teething) and she cant stop sneezing.
Has anyone heard of red/sore eyes being associated with teething?

:hugs: vicky - if you need someone to bounce things off just call or pm me... I lost my mum to an aggressive cancer - she was diagnosed end of August and died mid June - in ten very fast months.

Jakey is going well - he slept through again last night with just one squawk and he resettled himself but he is still waking at 5.30 and it is killing me!! I've tried putting him to bed later but he just wakes at teh same time crankier than ever... the last fews days he has dropped his second sleep and it is on those days he seems to sleep through better... on average ... having said that he will prob be feral day and night now sleep or no sleep....

Tara I'd say an allergy - have you any wattle, jasmine or stinky flowers growing around or near your house. It sets me off every spring.

Qld meet up will be next Wednesday would you prefer Southbank it is easier for public transport and there is the beach and lagoon, plus places to buy lunch... more convenient I guess.

I've seen the runny eyes/nose with teething before as well... so keep watch. It doesn't necessarily have to be a tree in your yard, could be anywhere in your street too... poor sausage.

Hmmm could it be anything new you're using in the house? Then again ella rubs her eyes a lot when she's upset, sleep, hungry or teething.....

We're going well here too. Back to settling herself. We have our bath and massage followed by boobs and a book. Then she goes into her cot and mucks around for 15-20mins before going to sleep. God i'm so glad she's doing that again but i'm sure it could change in a flash.

Little Ella has dropped her night feed i think. She doesnt wake up at 10-11pm anymore - well for the last few weeks - grizzles around 3-5am and then goes back to sleep.

I've been eating badly for the last week. Too much chocolates and bikkies... Ella must be enjoying it
