the standing in bed doesnt bother me so much - its this rolling over!!!
tonight when i put her to bed (she didnt want my help *sniffle*) she rolled onto her belly and stayed there asleep for a sec then rolled back onto her back and bumped into the side (the airwrap had slid down) and then settled on her side, at each point i'd give her a little pat and say 'good girl, it's okay'. so i'm hoping that she'll start to feel ok about rolling over and not freak out!

well after it working for two days it didnt this arvo!! but i will keep at it!!
    what you do
    1. put to bed, walk out, as soon as they stand up put them back down walk out, do this 15 times
    2. after the 15th time, walk out for 15 mins
    3. go back in and put back down, stay in the room and keep putting down until they fall asleep.

yesterday only has to do the first two steps and the start of the third and she went strasight to sleep
this morning and did the first step 3 times and she went to sleep, lunchtime first two steps then slept, but wouldnt have a bar of it this arvo!!!

Oh i'm coming in late but here goes 5am, 20th of Oct 3.5kg, 50cm - Go kim! So excited for you.

We dont have any standing problems here - so enjoying the peace and quiet. LOL (dont know why we are going to the physio then)

When she stands up holding onto my hands she is really quick to plonk back down on her bum.

    hmmm.... my guess is 20th 4.58pm boy 7lb2oz 51cm

touch wood... but at the moment Aston is sleeping well...the whole going to sleep thing that is... I put him in his cot, say night night, stroke his head for 2secs, kiss his cheek, turn the mobile on and walk out. I think 7/10 times that's it, and if I have to go in, it is usually only once.... Now the sleeping through the night thing is a whole different matter. he will settle... just wish he wouldn't wake... maybe I should not go in tonight and see what happens... fingers crossed.

We still rock to sleep... with both girls going to bed its hard sometimes in teh same room, we don't want Jovie to wake up Matilda or vice versa. It only takes a few minutes though... so we don't have to worry about rolling or standing up because she's so tired. I think if she was more awake when we'd put her down she'd be up. Sometimes if Matilda wakes her up we find her sitting up in the cot crying... but thats a rarity LOL

    My guess: girl 17th September, 3pm 7lb 15oz and 50cm head circ 34cm

It will be interesting to see if any of us come close with these guesses!!

Every night Craig and i walk into Chelsea's room, Craig kisses her good night, then me, place her in the cot, give dummy, turn off side light and i say 'Mummy loves you see you in the morning baby', walk out and shut the door. She is fine and sleeps no worries....maybe she lays there but not a peep out of her at all 9/10!

Then when we got to bed just check she is covered over and all is good.

OMG. Ok, so i kept going in (every 20-30mins) and shhh'ing and patting and saying it's ok and she'd resettle on her tummy or side and go back to sleep. until 1030 and she was just getting sooooo upset, it took me an hour to try and settle her, but i really wanted her to lay back down on her own but she kept climbing up and grabbing for me and her crying was just got worse and worse, so i picked her up and she just wouldnt settle. i thought her teeth might have been giving her some bother cos nothing that usually works worked. so i gave her some nurofen, dh settled her back to sleep. 20mins later she's awake again and screaming to the point she throws up, so i brought her in bed with us.
so now i dont know what to do. do i try and help her settle herself to sleep? i dont want her to get so upset because i'm not picking her up that she makes herself sick over it. poor baby

Tara - what does evie have to eat before going to bed? Is she pooing ok? Maybe its a sore tummy??

Ella woke up at 12am and was a bit upset but i sat with her and stroked her leg. I think she was too hot. So i let her just sleep in her sleeping bag and took of the sheet. In the morning she's at right angles to the bed!

So much for not moving! she's obviously a good wriggler even in her bag.

Off to the GP today to see if little miss has lost or put on weight.
