I have my own method... DTD where ever when ever....perhaps thats why i got 2 girls!!
Aston is such a cutie Vicky....i want a cuddly girl! You done well to BF him as long as you did.
Must be the boys that give their mummies cuddles....well maybe its just Chelsea who hates cuddles!!

my boys are definately more cuddly then Laura was as a bub. She was, and is such and independent madam... Nathan is still a cuddle bunny...he is funny, ferrets his way in beside me, and I don't even realise he is there til I look down to give him a kiss if that makes sense.
sophie is very cuddly as well! i think she'd cuddle all day if i let her !! that and we get heaps of kisses!!!
Jakey is a cuddle bunny - lots of kisses - and he has started blowing kisses now v.cute!
Ok its just Bilby and Chelsea that are not kissy cuddly babies!

Aston woke up in a cranky mood, and was back in bed by 8am still asleep. He is cutting the left hand upper molar too... good they are big. has the right hand one.
DH is giving me the *****s today... i'm so intolerant at the moemnt.
Matilda wasn't ever a cuddly baby, not until 2 1/2 before she enjoyed a cuddle Jovie was way more into cuddles before, but is not so keen atm :(
LOL we tried the Billings method with Jovie... needless to say we got a girl & we were trying for a boy.
Kim it so hard when they are like that. We are actually having a settled day (runs to knock on some wood, oh well just use my head). Its scary, DH is back at work, both girls are a bit sick... Jovie's heaps worse again today. I was up for a few hours with her in the middle of the night coughing & struggling to breath through the snot... we've had a steam shower & I've just started her on antibiotics the GP gave if the temp didn't go down overnight. She said there wasn't a bacterial infection yesterday arvo, but this morning everything is green & Jovie coughed up some green stuff today. So I think its time. Poor sausage is miserable.
lol you guys are so honest I've been reading a few threads and I just wanted to say that we are a great bunch of girls and I like that we can call a spade a spade and not get flamed :grouphug:

Nelly - I agree, we are a very lucky lovely bunch, and I feel very blessed to have you all in my life.

I had a little weep this morning... I went in and woke Laura up , and placed her in my arms, like you would a baby lol - she is looking at me like MUMMMMM... lol. I said to her, "I remember when I first held you like this, and fell in love with you..." and started to weep. Well needless to say she was slightly embarrassed...
All I can say girls, is don't wish any of it away...it goes far too quick. and all the moments- the good the bad the beautiful the ugly - are all amazing and worthwhile. i have learnt so much from my children, and still are.
On that note, have to go and seperate them - Nathan is winding laura up...and she has just slapped him...oh joy lol

every birthday for each of my children I get very emotional...i reflect on their birth day - and the many days that have happened since..where they are on their journey called life. never forget that we aren't raising children - we are raising PEOPLE...that is what they become.

OK needles done..Chelsea screamed the house down....jasmine screamed.. then both were screaming together and each time they got louder...competing so it seems...
Friggen Dr wanted to put Jasmines needles on her arms....WTF???? Nurse said no way!
Vicky ur words always make me teary..they are so lovely. I dont ever want my babies to grow up...i love them the way the are :)

still trying to set the friggin thing up tho, so are typing on my laptop lol. great getting new computers, pain in the arse setting them up sometimes - like reloading software that you love using, and connecting webcams and printers.

Vicky - oh dear you've triggered me off as well. We're about to wean Ella - going to TTC soon. She's only feeding 20 seconds. But the thing i LOVE most is that she gives me a big smile and looks right into my eyes and i fall in love with her all over again.
....until she bites.

Ella is also a cuddly baby (see i DO read all posts) and loves to clamber up from a craddle hold into a bear hug. She now pulls me close and puts her head on my chest.(yes near the boob - but i'm sure its me that she loves!) LOL
Nelly! - TTC already?! LOL at DH with the sore sausage. We'll start next month. we've gotta get healthy first. :) When are you out to Sydney?

no Ann, won't be having another one... I had a tubal ligation, which I am regretting, because I'm sure that it is contributing to the pain I am having. so... unless I get it reversed and fall pregnant accidently (which I have done 4 times already! you would think I would know HOW it happens by now!) there won't be anymore for me. I will just have to enjoy all of you guys vicariously.
im happy to have everyone at our appartment too if thats easier!! we can relax!! get my DH to serve us drinks tend to the babies, go for swims in the pool!!!

LUAA - i got AF for Xmas, not so bad these days now i've become a cloth mama, makes me feel pampered and spoilt. The way you're talking about TTC, i take it your dh is OUT of the dog house??? How has he made it up to you?
bilby (the non cuddly one) is still on half stage two food with half vanilla custard (for midday and evening meal). is there such a thing as custard overload? i feel so guilty about this, but it's the only way we can get any savoury food down her! Breakfast is a good happening thing, but the other two - i just feel embarrassed. She still seems to sieve the mashed food, collects the pasta, bits of veg etc in her teeth, swallows the pureed bits, but COLLECTS all the bits. We're talking a concerted effort here! she uses her teeth like a sieve!!! Still zero interest in finger food and sippy cup.
Ann, i feel so lucky i'm not being bitten during bf=ing. What do you do when Ella bites you?
Nelly - i like our close little group too. I notice the flaming on big, open threads - which is probably why i stick mainly to small, intimate threads like ours, i like to feel safe.

Jasmine is a doll....her skin is getting so much better since i started using some powder stuff in her bath...She makes alot clucky.... :)
Chelsea is still asleep...she has care today and i dont want to wake her up....needles knocked them both out cold last night....
Jas slept 540-1030 (and thats only cos i woke her...missed 2 feeds over the day) and Chelsea was in bed by 830 and still sleeping and she had 1 meal all day...2 bottles.

We were up from 10pm-1am with a screaming baby. She was totally unconsolable. Screaming in pain. We gave her neurophen & panadol & steam & boobs and tried a bottle and everything. Eventually she wore herself out & went to sleep, but her breath stunk so badly. We've started her on ab's that the GP gave up in case she got worse, so I hope this is the right thing to do. My throat is sore today :(

Kim - woo woo! You look great. What a lucky lady to get a dress from DH...let alone a nice dress! my DH would have no idea!! LOL
Gigi - Bilby sounds like a baby (in terms of eating) that i know im mums group. He's now coming around to other foods. He just lived on pumpkin mash and yogurt. Now his mum makes pan fried chicken and shreds it up for him and gives him just the tiniest of pieces and he eats it! now she can add it to pumpkin.
DH is out of the dog house. LOL. He came home with a bunch of flowers and over the hols he's put up he shelves in the laundry and installed our new dishwasher. :) so all is forgiven.
Christy - wish i could pop in too but it would take me a few hours from here ;) Good for Nelly!
DH got me a facial for my chrissy present. SO i'm off for my appointment today at 4pm. Also yesterday i used my gift vouchers from work (chrissy pressie) and got $150 worth of make up. I would never buy it if it was my own money!

He took the girls to the shops yesterday arvo to let me have 30 mins to myself...came home with a box of flowers that had red roses, red gerberas (sp?), some kinda lilies (mum calls em death lillies) and a box of dark chocolates from Daralea :)

I've just broken down in tears today!
DH just bought some songs from iTune store and played one to me. He said "this one reminds me of you..." and it was beautiful. Between the tears and sobs i heard the lyrics "No one will love you as much as i do..."
He's not romantic at all but sometimes he suprises me.
Jols - DH bought me a rose plant for Valentines last year (after i told him to) and its not a waste coz its still growing and blooming. :)

Coolum is at least 2 hours from me
Just having a bit of a down day here. evie's molars are coming through so it is non stop grizzling, altho having said that DH and i have decided not to 'molly-coddle' (giggle) her so much so she seems a bit happier to go about her business once her grizzle is out of the way. And she did sleep from 1030 til 5 last night so i got a good block of sleep in.
i know i'm pg and everything but i feel like my body is totally falling apart. my skin has gone to the sh*ts, my once fantastic (i'm not shy to say it) boobs are now so flat and saggy, my belly is just gross...i feel like i'm barely even 25 and a mess :(
i think i need to go get a bacon deluxe burger for lunch, eat myself into oblivion.
