i'm glad someone else understands. I feel so horrible saying it...but its like I can't breathe at the moment... i just need some time by myself. I just told DH that, and said yes it would be nice to have some time to ourselves! duh!!! not with you - but without all of you! grrrrr. it owuld be nice to have some alone time iwth him too...but first I need some me time. feeling like I'm drowning at the moment.

Ella isnt enjoying her sleep without boob.Not happy this morning either - just screamed when i said good bye. She was standing by the sofa with her hand out and her face wet with tears....breaks my heart.

Ann, evie was a real booby girl too and it was really hard to get her to stop (and being pg actually helped me since i couldnt stand the feeling of feeding). Can you replace boob with something? dummy? sippy cup? is it the feed or the comfort she wants? I know its so hard, but just be persistent. I think it's Pinky who has that saying 'gradually...with love', just go by Ella but be firm.

ann - when aston stopped feeding at night, he didn't want booby, so I'd put him to bed, and then he would be distressed...so I started just sitting with him for about the same length of time that I would have had for a feed, and giving him a cuddle, just like when he would feed, and sing him a lullaby. I have a chair in his room, so that was where he would have that last feed, and first feed. Now we just have a cuddle, and he looks at me in the dimmed light, and I look at him, and love him to pieces. its very lovely actually.

I must say that while i keep interaction during the night to a bare minimum, i have stopped stressing about her going to sleep on her own for her 2 day naps and bedtime. now, i give her a cuddle for 2 mins then lay her down in my arms for a minute then put her in her cot. sometimes she'll hold my hand and sometimes i can just stand there. but i really like our little sleepy cuddle. she wraps her arms so tight around me and lays her head on my chest and just relaxes. I think that'll be a nice thing for us to have together when the baby comes.
Man, i'm hormonal. just looked at a photo of evie smiling and thought 'what a joy she is' and now i'm so teary

sophie had a late arvo dleep due to mothers gruos so was up late at 4.45 so we dropped over to BIL house 45mins away to drop TV off so shes just gopne to bed at 9pm but bets on she still wakes at 6.30am :rolleyes:

oh Blanche, gorgeous belly!! I wish you could come too. Its alot of $$ though isn't it? We are going to Sydney to visit DH's family on the Australia Day weekend, so thats only 2 weeks away... oh crap, better get packing!!!
We are also dealing with going to America in September/October, before Jovie turns 2 because its heaps cheaper before then ;) Scary thought a 14 hour flight with 2 children. We may have to spend the night in LA to recover from the flight LOL

went shopping today with the kids, laura had spending money from her birthday so she was in shop mode! It was lovely helping her pick outfits out. she had a voucher for 50 dollars for supre...and got an whole outfit, that is just gorgeous on her. I will take some photos and put them on facebook.
feeling better this evening - realised that Af is about to visit...and that is what has been wrong with me, why i have been a cranky cow...I'm in pain as well, so the two together is such a lovely combination...

Dr gave me anti-nausea tablets today. and wouldnt you know it, didnt need to take them, feel better LOL.
going to have a 4D scan apparently next week or week after so that'll be tops.

Painstop rocks. I've used it through many ear infections with Matilda & the time she cut her head open & had to be glued shut. One of the GP's we saw told us to use it for ear infections because it was horrible... being up for hours in pain & screaming and nothing worked. It was fantastic. The daytime one is best for younger bubs.

Rich has gone to work, and all the kidlets are still asleep - including aston. he didn't wake once last night! he is sleeping soooooooooo much better. Yay,
Why am I up i hear you ask - well AF is a b!tch, and the pain sucks...so I thought I would have a cup of tea and some toast so I could have some pain relief. and enjoy the quietness of th ehouse before they all wake up.

Blanche - would you beleive I actually think I'm a little envious of you at the moment. I keep seeing pregnant bellies, and think ohhhh I wish I was (eek!!! slap me would you!)
tara - that goes for you too - even amid the morning sickness and tiredness - I think I'm feeling sad because Aston is my last.... and there is a little bit of grief mixed in there. regret that I had my tubes done...

He slipped over yday at the park and bashed his head on the concrete and has a scabby bit this morning - maybe he did have concussion Tara and that's why he slept so well! ;)
Am frustrated have a T/w host who didn't pay at her party last year, so am out of pocket from it still, and am trying to get hold of one of her guests who booked a party to confirm the date and she isn't returning my calls. Prolly not a bad thing tho bcos this guest didn't pay either so maybe her party would have been another pain in the butt! I have her stuff she bought and some of it is good stock is just a pain....
well we fly out tmrw morning and still haven't packed better do it today ... and pack more freaking boxes too... god we have a lot of crap!!!!!
Christy or Vicky or Tara do you want a wine rack or two? A small computer desk? WE are going to have a garage sale and get rid of clutter (DH word)
