Dragonbub - I'm glad to hear you are enjoying it so much. Can't say the same for myself just at the minute, well not the sleeping part anyway. I just want this sleeping stuff sorted once and for all. And don't get me wrong, he is sleeping OK, he is only ever awake for 1.5 hours at at time, he self settles 90% of the time, other times I have to go in and out to help him a bit. He's generally doing a short sleep in the morning of 40 mins (I give up trying to resettle him after about 30 mins) then his other 2 sleeps are around 1.5-2.5 hours. It's just this waking after one sleep cycle that is doing my head in. I know if I am consistent that he will eventually learn to do this himself, but in the meantime, it's not much fun. I just have to listen to what the sleep schoolers are telling me and trust that he is much more able to learn how to do it from 3 months on and he 'should' get it soon. Life will be heaven once he does!!
I know I have high expectations and a lot of mums would be perfectly happy with the way he's sleeping but I can't help it.
DD is starting preschool tomorrow and I think that's getting me down too. She's never been in any sort of care before and I am going to miss her so badly.
