    Hi Everyone,
Olive is also sleeping well now. On friday night she slept fron 9:30-4:30, she then fed, and was asleep again by 5 and slept til 9 giving me the best nights sleep i've had in 8wks, it was heaven! She's going for her needles today which i'm still freaking about. My sister was saying that she BF her girls and they didn't even cry so I think I may brave it and do that. She was also told by the nurse not to give panadol immediatly because it masks any symptoms and you don't know if she will have an allergy to it or if it's just the vaccines.
Tan - my Dh also sucks when it comes to shopping. We went yesterday. He gets what he needs then rapidly gets over it and wants to go home. I hardly ever go with him cause I love shopping and he just spoils the experience, ah men...
Leigh26 - I also work in childcare but we only take 2-6yr olds at my centre so Olive can't come with me. Did you work in the same room as your DD? I think I would find that hard but it would be nice to have her close by. I also hope that with the hours i'm doing I can still BF. I do find that most people assume I can take my baby to work but unfortunatly the mortgage has to be paid and I think the hours i'm doing are an ok compromise.
Hollye - Glad everything went well in Geelong. How is Mia? Did you take her to the doctors?
    Have a great day everyone.

Olive'smummy - when i had B and they were doing the heel ***** - they told me to breast feed her while they were taking her blood as ur breast milk is like a natural pain relief for them - the heel ***** took ages and it was a fair bit of blood - but not once did she scream, cry or do anything! She was very relaxed and not bothered by it! i was the one stressing and getting upset! so maybe it is a good idea if u BF Olive while the needle is being given!
    Goodluck with it all today!

Hi Girls, hope you all had a great weekend.

Hollye - Man I feel sorry for you, glad Mia finally settled down for you. I hate when Lara cries and cries and nothing I do seems to help.

Olivesmum - No DD1 wasnt in the same room as me but at play time she was in the same yard as my group was. So it was good that I still got to spend some time with her. I used to go and visit her on my lunch break though but most of the time she was asleep.

HJ - Bugger about AF returning, I enjoyed all those months without her but I am the same as starrysky, I am still bleeding from when I had Lara and I am soooooo over it!

Starrysky - Glad you had a great night sleep hun, makes you feel so much better hey. Lara has been sleeping well the last few nights. Going down around 11:30pm and sleeping through til 8:30 - 9:30 am so I'm not complaining. I got a bad sleep last night though coz we had storms all night.

Tan and Olivesmummy - My DH sucks at shopping too. He hates it and always rushes me. He hates the fact that I like to go from shop to shop and have a good look around. He gets annoyed coz I see something I like then dont buy it then go back at the end and get it. ha ha.

Hippie - Lara wont sleep today either and I've got heaps of stuff to do too. We're having xmas day here so I need to get cleaning and try and get organised. Glad your boob is feeling better.

For those of you who have had girls (or have older children as girls) are you getting your DD's ears pierced? Or what age did you get them done? I got DD1's done at 12 months but everyone keeps telling me I should get Lara's done soon, before she can roll and while she doesnt pull on her ears etc. I feel kind've bad getting them done early coz she is so little and I don't want to hurt her but people said she wont even remember. When I got DD1's done at 12 months I used the emla numbing cream and the place I got it done at had 2 piercing guns and did both ears at the same time.

Better go, hi to everyone I have missed.

HJ - Yeah I am thinking I am going to wait until Lara is at least 1 year old. Shes too little and I dont want to put her through any pain just yet.
