Hi ladies,
DH and I went out last night - by ourselves! Mum convinced me to leave Olive with her as we were going out to dinner so I did and it was actually ok. It was only for about an hour and a half but it was nice to have some time on our own. I really missed her in the end but mum said she really good and she loves mum. She was pretty upset by the time we got home though and slept from 9-4. We went shopping all day today, it takes twice as long with the baby so am pretty tired as I didn't have my afternoon siesta. I was looking for a dress for my sisters wedding in march but after trying on a million dresses only two fitted around my boobs and they were the ones I didn't like that much. I'm also having a terrible time in general finding clothes and most of my pre baby clothes are to tight or to short etc and my flabby tummy pokes over the top of everything. It does suck but I did just have a baby, you would have thought my sis would be a bit more conciderate.
Tan - hope Izzy is better today.
Hollye - are you having a 21st b'day party?
Hope everyone else is good.
-
olivesmummy.. nah just going out for tea with the fam. Im not too interested in looking after Mia with a hangover! lol. mayb next year..
-
Good morning everyone!!!!
Hope you all had a great weekend!!!
Hj,
How did your apprasial go??? Hope it went well!!!!
Hollye,
Luv the pic of Mia she's a real cutie!!
Hayden's also sleeping like Mia but I agree with you if they sleep all night that's all that matters!
Olivesmummy,
Good on you for having a break!!!!! Also ignore your sis it's still early days yet, I'm sure your tummy will disapear soon! Mind you I think with the way I'm eating mines going to be hanging around for a while!
Managed to clean the floors yesterday so we no longer belong to the zoo! lol
I watched Opera's house cleaning special last week on de-cluttering your home!!! So today I'm going to start with the tupperware cub as it always explodes when you open the doors! So it'll be interesting to see what I can part with!!!
Takecare all,
luv Snoops

hello all,
welcome to a new year...nothing new here, DH has gone back to work and I am doing the home stuff that needs to be done post christmas.
We have had a 'nabbit'(rabbit) move in under Paige's bed apparently, the first we knew about it was when she tapped me on the shoulder at 2:30am and told me that "something scares me!", we tucked her back in and reassured her that there were no 'nabbits' under her bed, she settled for a while then crawled back in to my bed saying 'it scares me'
Well with some rational(?) conversation the following morning we discovered that the 'nabbit' came out of the book and went under the bed and then proceeded to "scare me!!!"
So we talked about rabbits and looked at pictures and talked about the rabbits she visited at her cousins and discussed how Sheppy dog would chase the 'nabbit' away for her so far we didn't see the 'nabbit' last night

Angus is having the biggest smiles and has even started laughing and is still growing like a little weed
love to all Allie xxxxx

I'll try to get back for personals soon, but can someone help? I'm trying to put a bit of effort into this thing! Have managed to download some pics (will work out how to put the link in here later), and am trying yet again to get a ticker happening. BUT I can only manage to get a pregnancy ticker which puts his 'due date' as, like, 3 months overdue. I'm trying to look for it in the snippets of spare time :wall: but I'm sure one of you can point me in the right direction to make it a whole lot less frustrating for me!! :)
thanks in advance girls. hope you're all well!
-
The BB ones are all preg ones - go to lilypie or one of the others and make sure you find a birthday ticker hun - most sites have birthday ones as well as preg ones. Good luck! Great pics too!
-
Ur a gem! Thanks Tan. I'll be back later to post personals. Mwah Mwah!
-
Oh yay!!! Look at that! Awww, and my li'l Liam is on the page now! :)
Going out to do shopping. Wow computers can be a timewaster. Thank God DH is home today to help me actually get stuff done!
-
Love the ticker!!!
Liam is soooooo cute!!!!!

whats everyone doing today??????
im trying to stay inside so i dont catch on fire outside (38 degrees).
Mia's good. I think shes teething.. actually I know shes teething. And i think shes going to get her bottom ones first... is that meant to happen?
I would be VERY suprised if she didnt have a tooth in the next 6 weeks.
Mum said i was an early teether too and i had a full mouth of teeth before 12 months. I think she said it was about 10months when my last lot came through.
-
Yeppie on the tooth front, Britney & Joshuah both got there front bottom one's first. Britney lost her front bottom one's first to!
Britney and Joshuah were around 6 months when they came through but I've heard of them coming through from birth! I noticed they were moving alot before they came through one day you'd see a white lump on the gum next day it'd be gone!
Not upto much here it's spose to be 33 but it's only around 30 but I'm hiding inside with the aircon on!!
How's Mia cope with the heat???? Hayden gets a horrible heat rash when it's above 30, hopefully he'll grow out of it!
Luv Snoopea
-
Wish it was only 5 more sleeps till I was 21!!!!
DH will be 30 in Oct and I'll be 29 in June, OMG how time flies!!!!
Snoops
-
21 feels a million years ago! I will be 33 this year! Eeeek! It's been nice and warm here today - went for a walk earlier in the morning with Izzy to the park. Her sleep is all out of whack from being sick - normally she is in bed at 7! James is playing under the activity gym of Izzy's that we pulled out - he loves it and has started grabbing at the toys! Clever man! So cute!
Hollye - The first teeth are usually 2 bottom, then 2 top, the the sides, molars and eye teeth but there are exceptions to every rule! How cute that Mia is teething already! Izzy didn't get hers til she was about 5 mths old! :)
Off to buy some more nappies! DH has given me the green light to go cloth =- whoo hoo!! :cheer: Have a great night all!
-
Wow teething already!! Is that really as bad as everyone makes out?
DH & I were discussing the other day when to have the 2nd. We were both close in age to our sisters - 14 months for me, 16 months for him, and loved it so we've decided to just let nature take it course...! :o So unless BF stops it i could, at least in theory ;), be pregnant any day now! (I'd be surprise tho). Other reasons for diving in again so quick are that DH is 35 & has always wanted kids, he doesn't want to be "too old" when they're 20 or whatever. Also, we've always planned for him to be the Stay-At-Home-Dad and me to work. If we're gonna have them close-ish its better for them to be really close so I can get the 'baby making' and BF out of the way, rather than go back to work for only ??? months until I'm pregnant again, or him quitting work only for me to fall preggers again and us both be out of work for a few months around bub#2's birth. It kind of hit me pretty hard that this will be my job for at least another year. Not that I don't love being a mummy its just not what i ever saw myself doing full time for any length of time. But actually the ideas growing on me.
Oh Tan, i put some pics up of Liam in his BBHs. You may have seen them already. Honsetly, the more I hear about probs people have with cloth the more i love these. It will be interesting to see how you think they are compared to all the others you're trying.
Oh i know there was heaps of other stuff i wanted to reply to but i've forgotten it all. Sorry everyone. Hope your bubs are treating you well. Liam is just starting to discover his hands properly and is spending ages watching them twist in with each other, and trying to reach things and put them in his mouth. And he kicks constantly - little froggy legs!
Anyway, I'd better go make tea. Take care.
-
snoop - she doesnt like the heat at all! She has grown out of her rashyness thank god. Now her face is as soft as her bum!!
Yes.. teeth... i can see the bottom 2 just sitting there and she drolling like mad.. pulling at her ears, chewing her fists and her cheeks were all rosy today. She just seems all in all agitated. Whats molars and eye teeth?????
FYI - Curash Nappy rash cream is CRAPPO!! waste of money and time. But.. that benpathen (sp) is fantastic!!!
Mia has her NEXT photo shoot next wednesday! i cant believe we are at the 3rd one already! not long till them next needles either....
ahh i need to chnage that!! its 4 sleep till im 21..!! its on the 9th!
-
Good morning!
HJ-What happened with your house??
Olivesmummy-I couldn't have gone out without my boy! So good on you! I bet it was nice to have some time just with your DH! I do miss that!
Snoopea-How did the de-cluttering go??
Hollye-Wow! Teething already! Hope Mia's ok!!
Tan- Woohoo for the nappies! Which ones are you going to get?? I've just ordered a couple of different fleece covers, I love them, they are so soft! Much better than PUL, except for when we go out, then a PUL cover is a must.
1stbub-Sounds like you've got it all worked out. We want our bubs to be close together too. I can't wait to be pregnant again, I loved it! (well maybe not the last few weeks) but I have to prepare myself for the birth so it might be a while for us!
Well I have a cold and I think I'm getting conjuntivitis (sp?) what's with that?? DS has it and has eye drops...do you think I could use his eye drops?? Nothing else really to report...he is still sleeping through  (I've probably jinxed myself now). We are not doing much today just going to the supermarket soon and that's it! But we finally have some lovely weather so maybe a walk too!
-
Morning all - i had alot of reading to do just than! miss out on one day and u miss out on heaps! hehehe - so i will apologise now if i forget a personal to someone!
Snoopea and Hippiemummy - the apprasial on the house went well! our house is now on the market! The realestate is comming around today to take some pics to put on the net! so hopefully it shouldnt take to long to sell, and hopefully it wont take us too long to find our dream home - we are looking at a home tonight when DH gets home from work!
Hippie - conjunctivitis is highly contagious! so u must or touched ur eye or something - not sure if u can use same eye drops - just bath it in saline solution from inside out - and use different cotton ball with each wipe!
Hollye - i wish i was 21 again - acutally i dont cause than i wouldnt have B! have u got anything Big planned?
and poor Mia on starting to teeth - i guess we are all going to have to go thru that soon! and yep bottom teeth come thru first - molars are the teeth at the back - and ur eye teeth i think (someone correct me if im wrong) are like ur "pointy teeth" at the front - the sharper ones!
Tan - how is Izzy going? i wish B would happily play under her gym thing like James does! she is starting to get a bit clingy lately - she wont let us out of her sight! cute but can be a little annoying exspecially when u need to go to the toilet or shower! hahaha
1stBub27 - ur ticker looks great and Liam is a real cutie! and imagine if u were preg again! would be exciting yet full on! i have that slight fear atm - cant wait for AF!
-
HJ - How exciting hun! I need to get this house organised and get it on the market once DH gets back!! Hope it all goes well for you. Izzy is ok now but shes still a little clingy and sooky, not too sure what's up other than being 19 mths!
Hippie - I hope your conjunctivitis clears soon hun. I have on the way - a happy heiny, a hautes, pea pod, 2 x itti d'lish, 2 more GK's , a cushie and a bubblebubs. I think that's it! Plus one of the girls from my other babies born group is sending me a berry plush to try and a hh. I am going with pockets and AIOs for days and will start looking at fitteds with covers for nights soon!
Hollye - the molars are the big teeth at the back and the eye teet are the ones that are third across on each - pointy ones! I found that the normal ones were all fine, the molars were bad and the eye teeth just recently were terrible. Some bubs seem ok with it all though so you never know. When Izzy has had terrible nappy rash I found Sudocream the best - you can lather it on really thick and leave it overnight, otherwise we just use the Aromababy barrier balm - its organic and smells DIVINE!
1stbub- We wanted ours close too - DH and his brother are 2 years and my sister and I are 6 years - we definitely wanted them close- not quite as close as we got but I never got AF back and it just happened! Now that we have them so close I can't imagine it any other way and I love that they will be such great friends as they grow up!
Slack personals -bIg squishy hugs to you all that I've missed!
DH leaves tomorrow - wwaaahhh loads to do today so Im off! Have a great day all!
-
Hi Girls,
I agree with HJ, you miss 1 day and have lots to catch up on, so sorry if I lack in the personal department too.
Tan - Yay on getting the go ahead with the cloth nappies. Enjoy your last night with DH tonight. Hopefully the 2 wks he is gone will fly by quickly.
HJ - Glad the apprasial went well. Hopefully it will be sold in no time. How exciting looking for a new home.
Hippie - Bummer on the cold and conjunctivitis, hope you get better soon. I agree with HJ on what to do for the conjunctivitis.
Hollye - Wow on Mia's teething. Hopefully they wont give her too much trouble. I was lucky with DD1, teething didn't seem to bother her that much. Lara will probably be a nightmare when she teethes though.
Better go, I have to go to town soon and need to have a shower before I go. Hi to everyone I have missed.
Have a great day!!!
-
I'm another that has had alot to catch up on, so please forgive my crappy personals.
HJ that's great that the apparsial went well, fingers crossed you find the perfect house and that yours sells quickly.
Snoop so glad to see you back and posting :)
Tan yeah on getting more MCN, hopefully I will be starting to get mine soon. Boo that DH will be gone for two weeks hopefully it will go quickly.
Hollye my oldest two were both early teethers, they had a full set of teeth before their 1st birthdays, my oldest actually cut 2-3 teeth at a time and he was great never really bothered him, hopefully Mia will be the same.
Hippy maybe try some BM it is suppose to work wonders for conjuntivitis, I think I've use it on one of the boys before.
Hello everyone else.
Yesterday was DH birthday and he is now 41, I'll be 30 in June, I'm hoping to have a surprise party organised by DH with a bit of nudging in the right direction, as I didn't really have a big do for my 21st as I was 7mths pg with my oldest. Not much else going on here just doing housework today, oh fun.
hugs xoxo
-
Tan - for the next 2 weeks. Hope it goes quick for you.
Hollye - Hope its a great b'day. Do you have anything planned. I can't believe it was 38 there the other day. I don't miss that! It was hot here the other week at 31 - but that's largely coz of the humidity. I never liked that dry heat in Sheppy.
BTW, I've been moving Liams legs left to right when changing him like you suggested. Now, whenever I change him his legs go sick! he kicks and stamps them to each side and pushes them down in the middle to push his bum up. It's very cute, he loves it. no rolling yet, but i think I'm gonna have my hands full when he is on the move!!
AJ - good luck with that surprise party. I just hope DH remembers my b'day let alone organise something like that - even with prompting!! :(
HJ - never thought I'd say this and have it be a nice thing, but hope AF comes back for you soon. :) I highly doubt I'm preggers just yet or will be for many months. Of course, now we've planned it out we probably won't be able to fall preggers for ages! :)
Liam's been a bit funny the past couple days and especially today. He's throwing up a lot more than usual and is quiet and 'shmoopy' (clingy) which isn't like him. He's really tired too but doesn't seem to be sleeping well. Apart from that he looks healthy and he doesn't have a temp. I've got a slight sore throat and ears, so maybe he's got a bit of whatever i'm fighting. Don't really want to give him panadol if he doesn't need it, but i might give him a little if it keeps up. He's sleeping well now after only a really small feed.
-
all good here!
I can see her tooth its on the bottom to the left a little. But it could stay just under the gum for a while yet. She seems ok. Im gonna add some more pics to the gallery now :) cant believe shes 11 weeks tomorrow!
-
1stbub - LOL! he will be rolling on no time. Mia is get frustrated atm coz she rolls from her back to her tummy but gets stuck and cant get back. Then she is just like "blah! stuff this" and turns her head to the side and goes to sleep. lol. Nothing big planned. Just out for dinner :)
-
yeah i was just checking to see if u had put more pics of Mia in!
u need a mummy and daughter shot aswell!
-
Tan - the realestate guy hasnt turned up yet to take pics - im not impressed - he said he would be here around 11! i rushed my shopping trip with B to get home!
Glad Izzy is well now - and as annoying as the clingyness can be sometimes i guess we better enjoy those times while we can - soon our girls will be too big for cuddles etc! :(
Leigh - have fun in town!
1stbub27 - hehehe thank u - its already visited me once - now it better visit me again! wouldnt it be funny if were bth were again at the same time! hehehe maybe not funny!
Amanda - DH has got pleanty of time to organise a big surprise party for u in june so tell him we all said he's got no excuses!!!
-
morning all,
Just a quick post today as I'm working and have 6 kidlings running around at the moment!
Amanda, I'm sooo very slowly getting some sort of routine going, the school holidays made it a bit harder as Britneys very demanding, use to being busy at school I guess! How are you going with your boys home??
Hollye,
Glad to hear Mia's not getting rashes anymore, DH is worried about it but I'm sure he'll out grow it soon!
HJ,
Yay on the house front and goodluck on the searching front it can be hard work!!!
Hippiemummy,
One cub down the rest of the house to go!!!!
Hi to everyone else!!!
Better run before my house is destroyed by the kidlings!!!
Take care,
Luv Snoopea
-
Snopea - you brave brave woman!! :D Goodluck with the kidlings today!
HJ - that would be hilarious if were both preggers together. Especially if we both were already. O wait! Was that hilarious or scary? I get my words mixed up sometimes. ;)
Hollye - How funny about Mia just giving up and sleeping! What a cutie. Aren't they gorgeous.
Tan - thinking of you today. Hope its a good one despite DH flying out.
Hi to everyone else too.
-
Morning all,
Snoop they are driving me insane, the older two are like Britney, they are so use to have alot of stimulus from the other kids as well as the teachers and they are getting bored really easy.
HJ I hope that the realestate agent finally got there to take the pics
Not much going on here, just making extra sure the house is clean as a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a long time is coming to visit tomorrow with her 3 kids so will be good to catch up with her.
hugs xoxo
-
Hi all!
Tan- I hope everything goes ok for you today!!
Just a quick question for you all...do you wrap (swaddle) your little ones or use a sleeping bag? Or just blankets??
-
hippie - Mia just has a blanket. She would go nuts if i put her in a sleeping bag or wrapped her still and its way too hot for that atm anyway.
-
snoop - dont be worried about his rashyness. I actually took mia to the doc when hers got real bad once (about 8 weeksish) and the doc said its very normal and will be completly gone by 4 months ( so your only half way there!) but if it gets really bad.. like covers there whole face, the doc can give them something ( i think its an injection of some sort). HTh
Amanda - how funny is it that our house is always perfect when guests come over but any other day it just seems we dont have enough time to do everything. Its weird.. when guests are coming its like there is suddenly more hours in the day and we even get the floor moped!
-
hippy Julian still wants to be wrapped, he won't sleep otherwise, we just use the summer/muslin type of wraps and I just leave his feet unwrapped. Also during the day I only have him in a singlet and nappy to keep him a bit cooler.
Hollye your so right, you always want people to think that you are so orgainised and house is perfect all the time (not that this house stays that way for long ), will have to do a quick clean tomorrow as well.
Julian is 12 weeks today as well, boy has the time flown by. Last night he decided to sleep through again so hopefully that will continue.
hugs xoxo
-
Hippy - we havent swaddled Liam for quite a while, it just got too hot. Now he rarely has any covers except on the odd day/night when it cools down, and then we just use a blanket or usually just a doubled-over muslin over him (no swaddling). I was saying to DH just yesterday, he wont know whats going on when he has to have proper covers on him. Liam would probably love a sleeping bag - something for him to kick at and have fun with! My little frog-boy.
Hollye/AJ - my nanna comes round every Wednesday. Its amazing how organised and on top of things I am by 12noon every Wednesday! Still it gives me the incentive to work that little bit harder to keep the place tidy which keeps me sane.
-
Hi everyone, haven't time to read all that I have missed (cause it is pages lol) so no personals. Hope everyone is doing ok.
I have been battling a bout of depression. Not sure if it is from my BP meds, PND or normal depression so will be asking the dr on Friday to rule out medical sources. Hope he can sort it out because I feel like crap. Just want to cry all the time and the slightest remark from DF can set me off. Have been having dreams where I have bought my own house and moved out. I don't really want to do that.
Meara is going really well and growing so fast. She is now in the next size up nappies (5-11kg) and in 000 clothes. Still doing the comp feeding and it is working for us. She is smiling and cooing at us every morning and it is so good. Although trying to look after the 2 youngest is very trying at times as Kaylee is very high maintenance lol.
Hippy - I still swaddle Meara as she doesn't sleep well if she is unwrapped but use light weight wraps. I am leaving them looser though than what I used to.
Hollye - Happy 21st Birthday. That was a long time ago for me lol. I turned 40 last October and then had Meara 3 days later hehehe. They tell me life begins at 40 but I didn't expect to still be having babies : 8
Have to go but happy thoughts to everyone. Take care over these holidays
Kim

Goodmorning All
Bianca didnt cope well with her needles - she screamed the surgery down and sobbed her little heart out ALL day - and she refused to drink or sleep! my poor bubba - broke my heart - i felt so cruel holding her down - exspecially for the 2nd needle - she looked up at me in my eyes to say no mummy -but i did it! before that she was having such a good day laughing and smiling also - so now im the meanest mummy in the world and she prob dosent love me as much - i cried after! so the poor doc had 2 females to try and settle - in the end he just left us in his surgery to settle ourselves! hahaha
She also had a restless night last night - so i hope she has a better day today!
My post natal Appt went well - im all fixed up and apparently (stop reading now may be too much info) i have pelvic floor muscles that most woman would die for - she was very proud of me that it was obvious i had been doing my exercises! hahaha
sorry no time atm for personals - B is still a bit upset and is making it hard to type atm - hahaha
oh realestate finally turned up yesterday and took pics of the house - and we had our 1st possible buyer look thru - we think we have also found the one for us - looking at it again tonight!
Tan - is it today DH leaves? if so im thinking of u - :(
-
hi guys!!
sorry, Have been awol again  I know its late but I hope you all had a fantastic xmas and I wish you all the best, peace love and happiness for this new year....:)
We have been all over the countryside the last few weeks, seeing all the families etc, poor jacob probably didnt know what hit him!
he has started sleeping through most nights, which is a bonus for me, I wasnt expecting that so soon.
sorry no personals, I have pages and pages to catch up on, I will get to it!
have a great day!
-
Hi everyone,
hj - i'm feeling for you and Bianca about the needles, it was horrible and i'm really dreading the next lot already. Did you givr her any panadol? I'm not into giving panadol but had to the night Olive had her needles as she just wouldn't settle. I don't think she was right for about a week afterwards, really jittery etc.
hippy - Hope the conjuctivitis is better. I noticed that you co-sleep and thought it might be worth mentioning that it is probably a good idea to change the sheets every day if you don't already as it is reaaaalllly contagious. We still wrap Olive and just use muslin. We don't put her arms in though and havenn't for ages, it's more like a sleep cue for her.
We have had a pretty busy week. On Tuesday we went to the ABA meeting then went and saw some family and went to clinic. Olive now weighs 6.45kgs and is 61.4cm! She will be 12wks tomorrow. She is sleeping really well, between 8-10hrs staight of a night and usually one big 4-5hr in the day with a few smaller ones.
Olive has just woken up so gotta go, have a good day!
-
Hippy - we swaddle Bianca in a muselin wrap - soon we will be trying to ween her out of it and leaving her arms out than nothing at all! it helps her sleep and she sleeps thru pretty much when she has it!
Olivesmummy - i dont like using panadol either (unless its really needed) it dosent fix anything just hides the problem - but we had no choice last night - but she spat most of it out anyway! dont blame her it taste awful!
Olive is growing soooo fast - i cant wait to get B measured and weighed next week - hasnt been done for awhile cause the nurse at chemist is away!
Starry - welcome back! glad to hear u and jacob are going well
Kim - sorry to hear about the depression - i hope things get much better for u very soon!
-
Morning all!
Olive'smummy-Funny you mention washing the sheets everyday. I have this house as clean as a hospital at the moment!! DH thinks I've lost the plot! I think I washed my hands 700 time yesterday!! I'm determined to get rid of it! We both seem much better this morning, but back to the doctors tomorrow.
HJ-Didn't they do the needles at the same time? That's mean! Its awful isen't? I felt soooo bad. DS was much better the next day, so hopefully Bianca is better today! :crossfingers: for the house!
Kimb-I hope things improve for you!!
Amanda-Yeah DS is the same, won't sleep unless he's wrapped (or if we are out he has to be held) I think I might start putting him in a sleeping bag for one of his sleeps during the day to get him used to it.
:hello: to everyone else!
Our little man has been sleeping through, except for the last two nights, so I'm feeling it today!! I don't mind though, I prefer that he has the extra feed because for a while there, he was only having 6 feeds in 24 hrs. He gets weighed on Tuesday so that will tell us how we are going. He is in 00 :o in almost everything now, my bubba is not so little anymore!!
-
HI everyone!
Kim - Sorry to hear about your depression hun, maybe mention it to your GP or CHN and see if you can get see someone to talk about it.
Hippie - James is still wrapped tightly but he gets his arms out by morning. When he is overtired he needs to be wrapped, having said that he will fall asleep with nothing over him in the cot arms overhead quite often too! I will get him in a sleeping bag soon I think, for when he moves out of the hammock to the cot. Izzy is still in one and we LOVE it - keeps her warm and snug.
HJ - I bawled with Izzy's needles too -its horrible to hear them crying like that.
Waaaahhhh DH is in Chicago - Im tracking his flight online and it's been delayed a bit so I doubt he will go to see BIL and SIL at night as it will be too late. I just want him safe on the ground in Montreal. Had a good night - Izzy stayed at mums so I got a delicious sleep in! James slept from 9-9 so that was nice! Should be cleaning the house while I can but I just got out of the bath and am having brekky! Chat later!
