Good luck for Mia's needles tomorrow Hollye. Lara will get hers next week. I can't wait to weigh and measure Lara, hasn't been done since her 2month needles.

Wish my hospital or community health organised mothers groups up here. I need to get out and meet new people. Alot of my friends dont have kids and most work so it gets a bit boring sometimes.

Met up with a friend for lunch today. She is 31 wks pregnant. She lives an hour and a half away otherwise we'd catch up more often. She is having a boy.

Olive is getting her needles tomorrow as well, god I hate it!!! Good luck with Mia, Hollye

We had to go to the hospital last night as it looks as though I may have staph in my nipples again and not thrush and I also have a severly blocked duct which is desperatly trying to be mastitis so I am in agony. I feel as though I will have to give up BF and just express as I can't keep going on like this but the thought of giving up makes me feel so sad. Maybe I can just feed every couple of days. I've got my ABA meeting tomorrow so maybe those lovely ladies will have some advice for me.

Did anyone watch the documentry on ABC tonight called 'Bringing Up baby'? It's a new show that examines 3 different parenting styles and how they affect mothers and babies, it was really interesting. The lady teaching the authoritarian style parenting was so mean. She believes that all babies are manipulative and that you shouldn't pick up a baby or cuddle it because it will ebcome spoilt and that babies should only be fed 4hrly from birth. This poor newborn was screaming an hour and a half after being fed and they weren't allowed to go into it until the 4hrs was up, nearly made me cry.

    Night night ladies

Oh my OM. Would have told that woman to shove it. Poor baby screaming like that. Everyone knows that you can't spoil a baby. If you don't hold a baby when it needs it then it retreats and stops wanting to be held. OMG she needs reporting. That is child neglect. GGRRRRRRR ok vent over.

Good luck everyone for having needles done. I have to wait until Meara is better. She was really good last time so hope she is this time too.

My oldest turned 14 today. I feels so old lol.

I am also getting the colds or whatever it is that the rest of my family has and I don't feel well at all.

will come back again soon, hi to everyone

Olive got out of her needles for another week as the surgery ran out of vaccine. So now it's next friday arvo. I kinda wish it was just over and done with.

I went to the docs today and have mastitis and some weird unknown germ so am on yet another course of antibiotics. I also had my aba meeting which was good as I have decided that once this infection has cleared I am going to stop bf until my nipples have completly healed and then only feed every couple of days and continue to express full time. I know I have tried my hardest and have to be at peace with that.
Olive is good, that tooth is getting closer, I can see it right at the top. She is on a blowing raspberry frenzy ATM. From the moment she wakes up until she goes to sleep, she just loves it. I'll be interested to get her weighed next week as we couldn't go to clinic this week so it will be 3wks by tuesday.

    Have a great weekend everyone.
