Oh my OM. Would have told that woman to shove it. Poor baby screaming like that. Everyone knows that you can't spoil a baby. If you don't hold a baby when it needs it then it retreats and stops wanting to be held. OMG she needs reporting. That is child neglect. GGRRRRRRR ok vent over.

Good luck everyone for having needles done. I have to wait until Meara is better. She was really good last time so hope she is this time too.

My oldest turned 14 today. I feels so old lol.

I am also getting the colds or whatever it is that the rest of my family has and I don't feel well at all.

will come back again soon, hi to everyone

Olive got out of her needles for another week as the surgery ran out of vaccine. So now it's next friday arvo. I kinda wish it was just over and done with.

I went to the docs today and have mastitis and some weird unknown germ so am on yet another course of antibiotics. I also had my aba meeting which was good as I have decided that once this infection has cleared I am going to stop bf until my nipples have completly healed and then only feed every couple of days and continue to express full time. I know I have tried my hardest and have to be at peace with that.
Olive is good, that tooth is getting closer, I can see it right at the top. She is on a blowing raspberry frenzy ATM. From the moment she wakes up until she goes to sleep, she just loves it. I'll be interested to get her weighed next week as we couldn't go to clinic this week so it will be 3wks by tuesday.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

Mia did have a reaction. She stopped eating.. hasnt had bottle since 3:30pm and had a temp of nearly 38. She had a fever, was red hot and had the shakes. I have given her nurofen to bring down temp and about to go wake her and see if she will take a bottle. Its **** i never want to give her needles again!

Oh Hollye, I'm so sorry about Mia's reaction. Poor little poppett.

Liam had his needles today. He did well too and only cried for about 30 secs. He's been a little grizzly today but no reactions, thank God. I can feel his tooth coming up now too so suspect that's part of it.

OM - you little trooper! Hope all the mastitis etc clears up quickly for you. Didn't see that program but that woman sounds awful!!!

Kim - hope you're feeling healthier soon. Happy birthday to your oldest. Life moves quick huh. You're not old, just experienced.

Hi to everyone else, it's soooo late and i need sleeeeep!!!!! (been messaging my poor sister who's due in april and is so hot, uncomfortable and hormonal, poor girl. Maybe Liam will let me sleep lots tomorrow for my good deeds??? ).

My eyes are popping out of my head, Mia woke every 30mins lastnight with a temp of 38.5, she had some more nurofen at 5:45 this morning.. had a bottle.. do i just keep an eye on it or take her to the hospy?

I'd at least call 13HEALTH and get their opinion. They were really good when i called. Hope she gets better soon Hol.

Liam's doing fine. It's hot here so we're chilling out in the aircon and he's sleeping soundly. DH is off mowing his friends lawn. Apparently it takes from 9am - 5pm to mow a lawn with a fantastic $30k mower.... Not that i mind him spending time with his friends but he could at least recognise it means I'm with bub alone for yet another full day. This SAHM thing is driving me crazy right now. I'm keeping myself sane with some 'mum-porn' where DH wakes early, takes bub to play with and put to bed after I've finished feeding and insists I have breaky without having to worry about bub, and then take myself to bed to catch up on sleep. I wake later than i expected to and worry that bub's sleeping too long, DH reasures me saying he gave him a bottle so I could sleep and has just put him back down. Oh and he's put the washing on and tidied the house. And would i like pancakes for lunch?...... etc etc. *sigh* Dreams are free.............

1stbub27 - i so know where u are comming from!!!! i sometimes have days where i resent DH for being able to continue on his life so to say - where mine has come to a stop! but than i feel guilty for thinking like that - i love B so much but yep being a SAHM is driving me nuts!

Hollye - to you and our little Mia - how is she today?

OM - i would not be impressed if i had turned up with B to get her needles done only to be told to come back next week - simply because i hate taking her in the 1st place it breaks my heart so it would be hard to work myself up to take her again!!!

Oh - B has been such an angel the last 2 days (dads home must behave and make mum out to be a lier) we went out last night to my brothers 21st - got home gave her a bottle and she went straight to bed - i said to DH that i would sooooo love to sleep in until at least 0700am - Heard B stiring at 0600am but she played quietly in her cot until i got her at 0705am! how good is that? what an angel (when she wants to be)

hj - they did call me on Thursday to let me know and to re-schedule so that wasn't so bad.

Hollye - let us know how Mia is. Did you take her to the hospital?

1stbub - I'm feeling abit the same ATM especially since DH had my future BIL's bucks party last night and didn't get home until 4:30ama and woke Olive up. Needless to say he was in the bad books. Sometimes it just feels as though I never get a break and i'm also the only one who can get Olive to sleep which is hard. One of my good friends is coming for holidays at easter so I am going to go out for a couple of hours with her. I'm also getting anxious about the sleep thing as it won't be long until i'm back at work and I want to know DH can get her to sleep without always feeding her. She has been self settling alot more though which is good. I absolutly adore motherhood, it just feels like the walls are caving in sometimes.

Hi Girls, hope you're all having a good weekend.

I totally understand what you girls mean when you say your life has come to a holt while DH or DP still gets to live theirs. Don't get me wrong, I love being a mum and wouldnt change it for the world but it would be nice to be able to have a break every now and then. Its my bday at the end of March and one of my good friends is a few days before mine so we've already made plans to go out. I told DH he is on baby sitting duties. The only thing is I don't want to end up with a hangover coz it sucks being hungover and having a baby. When DD1 was 4 months old I went to a hens party and got drunk and boy did I pay for it the next day with a baby, didnt help that DH worked that next day.

Hollye- Hope Mia is doing better, poor little bub. Hope Lara doesnt have any bad reactions to hers.

We went out for dinner last night, was so nice to go out as a family. Lara was such a good bub. Oh and guess what, I've started the transition from bassinett to cot. The last 2 nights shes been sleeping in her room (she has been in our room since birth). She does share with DD1 now though. I've put the bassinett basket in the cot and she has been fine. In the next day or two I'll get rid of the bassinet altogether. She should be ok coz she sleeps in the cot for day sleeps anyway. The bad thing is that DD1 is a big sleep talker and wakes me all the time coz I can hear her through the monitor. At least Lara doesn't seem bothered by it. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Gotta go, hi to everyone I missed.

HJ don't you love when they are good for daddy and then they think that your making up when they are been difficult, lol. Hey can I grab the ph number of the pyshic?

Hollye how is Mia today? I hope that she is going alright and that her temp has dropped.

    Hi everyone else.

I've had a busy week, I had 3 of the boys sick, including Julian, poor little bubba had such a runny nose and a slight temp, so didn't get his needles done so will be doing that this week. I've also got his appointment at the physio tomorrow at 2pm for his torticollos, so hopefully get some exercise for him.

    hugs xoxo
