HJ hope the move goes well, where abouts are you moving too now? If it's not to far might have to have a catch up. When your back online will have to chat about the physic.

Happy 5mths Mia, boy all our bubs are growing so quickly.

Sorry I've been MIA for so long, I've been busy busy, busy. I went to the Dr on Friday as I've been feeling really flat, so he ordered some bloods to check iron ect, so hopefully I'll have results tomorrow. Julian is going great, no teeth yet, but heaps of drooling still.

    hugs xoxo

    Hi Girls,

Wow HJ, B is crawling already, that is early. She is growing up quickly. Did you manage to catch it on video or anything?

Hollye - That is a shame about the weightloss list. Hopefully something can be sorted.

I just went and got my implanon removed so as of tomorrow I will be back on the pill. It has been soooo long since I have been on the pill. I lost 1.9 kg this week, I am surprised coz I had a bit of a blowout on the weekend.

Thats a shame Hollye, why is that?

Hope you all had good weekends. Mine was pretty good, went shopping both days and other then that just hung out at home. DH and I watched a vid together and I had a few wines on friday night which was nice.
Olive was abit out of sorts yesterday afternoon and last night. She is getting her second tooth and it seems to be giving her more grief then the first. She wouldn't eat her dinner so woke up 3 times last night and only had 2 20min sleeps today which isn't like her at all. She ate her dinner tonight so will hopefully sleep better as I am buggered. I'm going to watch Underbelly while I express and go to bed. My FIL visited today and Olive hated him, poor guy. She just screamed whenever he looked at her which is strange as she is usually really social. We did have a big morning though as we went to the centre where I work and had a welcome back morning tea for me. I wonder if she knows a big change is coming.
Shame about the weightloss, why isn't it allowed? Not sure how much I weigh today as I haven't had time to scratch myself but feel about the same.

hj - wow on B crawling, I don't think Olive will be far behind bu i'm kinda dreading it as it means more baby proofing.

HJ - yay go B! you are so clever!!!

Ok.. as u all might know about Mia's reflux/vommiting issues.. she spews about 45 times a day. Seen pead today just to get told theres not much he can do. He wants me to start her on solids asap but to forget about the pureed stuff and go more onto BLS. He also wants me to cut down her milk (which i wont be doing) and try her on Karicare HA-AR formula. So i wnt to the supermarket and got the formula, some pear juice for her (ive been told it helps with constipation), vege teething rusks, sweet pot and some pumpkin. So ill let u know how it goes...........

She also has abit of a rash on her tummy.. he said just to moisturize it but ive been doing that and its been there for 2 weeks! exema (sp) is worrying me.. could it be that? DP's brother has it really bad.. so its in the family.

HJ- WOW!!! Congrats on B crawling! That is amazing!!!

OM - haven't you had a baby???? Wisdom teeth are nothing! You don't feel the pain at the time, its just the pulling sensation, which is just a pulling sensation - nothing to be scared of. I had heaps of teeth work done a few years back - probably 8 trips all in all. Only 1 was bad coz the tooth was stuck under the bone so it took about 45 mins of pulling and shoving etc. But that's REALLY rare and I'd do it again if i had to. Just concentrate on your breathing rather than what the dentist is doing, picture yourself in a lush rainforest or something. Make sure you take plenty of pain killers until the pain's gone. You can psych yourself up to make these things worse than they are, so just relax and make the best of it.

Leigh - I did aqua aerobics. It's great whatever fitness level you're at. You have a floaty thing so its not like you get tired and have to struggle. It's fun!

Liam's doing ok. He started this screaming and squealing thing lately. Like a 2 year old trying to get attention. I've been caught up with preps for my sisters baby shower so maybe that was why. Have been concentrating on playing with him heaps since (it was saturday) and it seems to be disappearing.
And he's woken up around 12/1am the past couple nights - VERY unusual for him. I gave him a 2nd solid feed today. We'll see how that goes.

HJ - I've been reading lately its common for bubs their age to go back to waking at night. It can be that they're needing more feed, or are feeling temperature changes, or they can be going through developmental changes that seem to effect it - theory is they're excited by what they've discovered they can do and want to be awake more to try it. Given B's moving ahead so quickly i wonder if that's it?

1stbub- Thanks your right, thats exactly what i needed to hear. I know it will be much better once it's out, it's just a stressful week for me with going back to work next Monday. Glad to hear Liam is doing ok, hope his squealy thing settles down.

Olive was a bit better last night, woke at 10:30 and again at 4:20 then we got up at 6:30after some unsettled sleep but she had done a poo. I'm so tired with the waking and hope it settles down soon. Olive actually lost weight when we went to clinic today which has never happened before, she lost 200g. Not sure why, she has been a bit off but I thought she would have put on weight with starting solids, anyway she is still in the 97th percentile so we just have to keep an eye on her. She grew another 2cm in height though up to 68cm and her HC is 44.8cm.

Hollye - good luck with the solids. The vege teething rusks make Olive spew and she never spews so we have stuck with the plain ones although she doesn't like them near as much. What are you moisturising Mia's tummy with? I have heard goats milk soap is great for ezcema and stick to plain creams like sorbolene or moo goo.

Hi to everyone else, wish me luck for tomorrow.
