OMG hj lol i too have pregnancy books under my bed. Will have to leave them there and see if they help with #6. DF also cancelled his snip appointment lol and he wasn't upset at all (I wonder why).
I will weigh myself soon and let you guys know. Hope I have. My clothes feel looser and when I look down now I can see boobs and not belly lol.
Can totally understand about sick kids. I have 3 out of 5 and my other half sick. He is worse than the kids lol.
Mimi (what Kaylee calls Meara) is doing really well and still sleeping all night (thank god) couldn't handle it if I had 2 keeping me up every night.
Sorry ladies still don't have af back but think it is close. I too crave chocolate then 8 )
well gotta go, chat later

csab - we got a Wii a few weeks ago, i think a few days before you 1st asked & i keep forgetting to tell you. We don't have the Wii fit though, just the sports game that comes with it, but i'm LOVIN the tennis. It still gets me sweating (sad, i know :) ). How do you find the vibration machine?
Just booked Liam for his needles for Friday. *deep breath*
HJ - I'm assuming Bianca wasn't with you when you saw the psychic? How great that she slept through! If you do get preggers so soon I'm sure you'll handle it no problems, though I know its not how you'd plan it.
-
hrmmm needles this week here too.. prob friday. *lots a relaxed deep breaths*

Hi Girls,
I don't have a wii but we really want one. Most places up in Cairns have sold out at the moment, but when we get it I will be getting the wii fit, least I can exercise in the comfort of my own home. I heard it gives a good workout.
Didnt get to take any pics of Lara swimming yesterday. We'll be going again next week so I will definitely take the camera. I asked about swimming lessons for Lara yesterday and the lady said they start them there at 6 months. I do know of another pool up here that starts them early coz a friend of mine takes her baby who is one week younger than Lara.
HJ - Wow on what the psychic told you. Wonder if you'll be making an unexpected pregnancy announcement soon ;) I will have to try Lara with the bonjela too. She woke again last night, well it 5:20am but I never got to sleep til 1am. I haven't been back to sleep since she woke me at 5:20am. I just cuddled her for a bit then she went back to sleep. Think I will be moving her from her bassinett to her cot on the weekend. I am giving my bassinett to a friend who is due in April.
Lara turns 4 months next week so I guess we'll be taking her for her needles either next Thurs or Fri. Can't wait to get Lara weighed again, she hasnt been weighed since her 2 month needles.
Better go Lara is crying.

What does the Wii fit do?
Apparently i was very wrong. Liam did wake last night - I didn't even hear him. DH was up so the bedroom door was closed and he looked after him, but he wouldn't settle and DH got to bed at 3am. I felt bad for, like, a second ;) until i realised this is exactly what i was angry at him about and wanting on the weekend after the number of times Liam woke on the weekend while i was trying to catch up on sleep and DH was awake and around the house, or supposed to be awake, but wouldn't hear him. Plus he's stopped putting him to sleep lately and needed the practice. ;)
My friend had her baby today! Very exciting.
Oh! And I have MG tomorrow - the first not organised by Community Health.
Leigh - it'll be interesting to see how much Lara weighs now after 2 months. Did you use dispsable swim pants with her?
-
1st - You have to get the Wii Fit, it is so much fun, and is really a good workout. I love it. hehehe. I did another 1hr of exercise on it today, then another 10min on my vibrating machine. The vibrating machine is good too. I got it just over a yr ago, but when I fell pg I couldnt use it, as you arent supposed to. But now I have started back again. When I was able to use it before my pgcys I could see some changes, maybe if I was able to stick with it, I could have seen a big difference. So now maybe I will see a good change. It feels so good standing there just shaking. hehehe. In a way it feels like a really nice massage, especially when you place your hands on the platform you get a nice neck massage, supposed to be good for the arms and chest. Boy do I need it for the chest. Your lucky DH has helped out, I wish my DH would get up and help sometimes with V, only for the break, like if I need to get dinner ready and she wants a feed iykwim. Congratulations to your friend, What did she have. Give all the details. hehehe
Leigh - When you get a Wii make sure you do get the Wii Fit, it really is good. I have a good laugh and the time goes sooooo quick because your having fun. It unlocks new exercises as you earn it by time. I am looking forward to getting V weighed again, actually last week the cardiaoligist weighed V fully dressed tho, and she weighed 4.4kg. I just want to see how much she weighs bare when I see the pead in a couple of weeks time. V needs to get her 4mth needles done but I think I will wait a couple more weeks yet tho, as the DR's wanted her last lot done a bit later as she had not much fat on her.
Goodluck Hollye and Ist for the needles on Friday. hugs Not looking forward to V's ones.
Kim - Sorry about the sick kids too, not much fun is it. Haha about the pgcy books under the bed. I kept thinking after the post from HJ about having things and dust under the bed must be why I have so many kids, too busy on top of the bed not under it. hehehe. Maybe thats whats happened to you too.
OM - Goodluck with the weightloss, I am thinking this time of going to weight watchers meetings. Maybe will make me more accountable if I have to face them. hehehe
-
more pics of me and mia in gallery!
um....
ahhh Wii's are so much fun, but they bugger u pretty quickly and with a first timer u get abit sore the day after, like going to the gym but more fun!
Mia is in bed.. sleeping on her left side (she usually sleeps on her right) so i hope she stays asleep. I had to change side coz one side of her hair was long and the other was short coz she always sleeps on it.
-
Leigh - no way will there be any preg announcements from me again anytime soon! im turning into a nun! NO DTD for me at all!!!!
i wanna start swimming lessons for B before 6mths - definatly now since she is getting on the move, and we are moving into a house with a pool - i dont want to take any risks!
How is ur friends bub going with the lessons - can u ask if she recommends them now?
Kim - hahaha definatly keep the books there if u want number 6!
1stbub - what did ur friend have? is she well?
Cheryl - i want a wii but DH wont let me get one!!! humph
Hollye - im trying to get B to sleep on her side - but wont happen - she likes her back with her head facing the right - which has given her a slight flat spot on her right but nothing too bad (i dont think) so im trying to encourage her to sleep facing the other way - but not happening!!! she is stubborn!
-
HJ - Lay-bye the Wii for your DH's b'day, heehehe. There wont be any complaints then.
Hollye - The Wii is more fun than the gym.....V always switches sides, thank goodness.
Well V doesnt seem very well atm, nose all stuffed up and whingey so she ended up waking up at 4.00am from it all. Poor bubba

Just need to get these sick kids back to school. How cute Jorda is doing beautifully, I am chuffed atm as I can now put V in infant nappies. :)

Hi Girls,
HJ - I will definitely ask my friend about the swimming lessons. I think she would recommend them coz she told me I should take Lara, the only thing is that the pool she goes to is an hr away. The pool closest to us starts them at 6 months so thats when I will start Lara.
Didi - Well done on the weight loss. I might have to join WW. Did you order it online or do you go to meetings etc? What exercise do you do with it? I enjoy walking but the only time I get to go is in the arv coz I am busy in the mornings getting DD1 off to kindergarten etc but coz of DH's work schedule if I walked in the arv I would have to take both kids with me. Its ok taking Lara in the pram but when I take Cadence with me its hard coz she is only 3 and walks slow so it wouldn't be much exercise coz I like to walk fast.
DH, Lara and I went to the movies today. While we were in there Lara did the biggest poo. It was one of those massive ones that goes all up the back and front and leaks everywhere. It was gross. Luckily there were only 2 other oldies in there so we changed her while we were in there. It was so hard. Hope they couldnt smell it coz it was pretty bad.
Hi to everyone I missed. Gotta go get dinner underway.
-
Wow, I didn't know that could happen. So someone just pays for it for you? Do you get to find out who or is it a secret? I'd love it if it was a secret, how cool! Congrats to you both!
Congrats Didi on your 5kg too! Is WW expensive? Think i'll try it on my own 1st anyway. I lost heaps of weight after i got pregnant, just coz i finally had something to keep me eating healthy - even juice tasted too sweet in the 1st trimester. I know i can do the same now too, and am getting better, so we'll see. And I'm trying to get to the gym more often to give my membership a workout. Apart from my regular yoga workout (which i ADORE!), I've just had DH agree to watch Liam while i go on Saturdays, and i'm thinking my nanna might be stoked with a regular babysitting spot, so if she does i'll go then too.
For those who asked, my friend had a girl! Which is so good seeing they're deffinitely not putting themselves through trying again - so now they have 1 of each, which she was sooo hoping for. They named her Emily Alice, 3.19kg 46cm. I've only had the text (with pic! :D), but I'm pretty sure they're both doing fine, apart from it being an elected c/s - so mum will be pretty sore.
The other good news (for me) is, since it's a girl, I'm pretty sure she'll be sending me all her boys clothes! My sister works for the buyers office for Myers and they get heaps of freebies. She was in bubs-wear when my friends boy was born so he was decked out in all the labels. She used to laugh that she had to have him play in all these top brands coz its all she had. Not that labels matter I know, but I do luuuuurve fashion and cute outfits!!!
-
Thank you all so very much.. i am in the 90KG though.. so it takes 5kg to see any difference! I go to Curves everyday for 30min when DH gets home from work at 630pm... its great..
WW is fantastic.. 59$ a month unlimited so i love it.. so fun so easy... i do all the online calculating points etc.. SOOOO EASY!! anyone can do it.. even a walk everyday is better then nothing!!

Good luck for Mia's needles tomorrow Hollye. Lara will get hers next week. I can't wait to weigh and measure Lara, hasn't been done since her 2month needles.
Wish my hospital or community health organised mothers groups up here. I need to get out and meet new people. Alot of my friends dont have kids and most work so it gets a bit boring sometimes.
Met up with a friend for lunch today. She is 31 wks pregnant. She lives an hour and a half away otherwise we'd catch up more often. She is having a boy.
-
Olive is getting her needles tomorrow as well, god I hate it!!! Good luck with Mia, Hollye
We had to go to the hospital last night as it looks as though I may have staph in my nipples again and not thrush and I also have a severly blocked duct which is desperatly trying to be mastitis so I am in agony. I feel as though I will have to give up BF and just express as I can't keep going on like this but the thought of giving up makes me feel so sad. Maybe I can just feed every couple of days. I've got my ABA meeting tomorrow so maybe those lovely ladies will have some advice for me.
Did anyone watch the documentry on ABC tonight called 'Bringing Up baby'? It's a new show that examines 3 different parenting styles and how they affect mothers and babies, it was really interesting. The lady teaching the authoritarian style parenting was so mean. She believes that all babies are manipulative and that you shouldn't pick up a baby or cuddle it because it will ebcome spoilt and that babies should only be fed 4hrly from birth. This poor newborn was screaming an hour and a half after being fed and they weren't allowed to go into it until the 4hrs was up, nearly made me cry.
