Didi - Congratulations on the weight loss. Bet you feel and look great. I've been very naughty the past 2 weeks, my diet has gone out the window. Must get serious about it again. I'd like to lose another 10kg (15kg if I can manage it).
Csab - Hopefully you're able to get to the dr today. That was nice of the lady to call & ask how you're going.
I am thinking of putting Lara in MCN's. She is in full time disposables at the moment. Anyone have any suggestions of what to use? I have no idea.
Hun don't go and buy heaps of one brand incase it doesn't suit bub!!!!
The most conventional MCN we have is Itti Bitti's
there are so many brands out there why don't you pop in the cloth thread and speak with all the old MCN hands....i know a fair bit but they are more knowledgable!!!

Move went as well as a move could go, I'm onto my thrid lot of antibiotics for this damn tonsilitis, it goes and as soon as I finish my course of anti's it comes back so I'm on a month long dose of them now.
As of yesterday Julian is commando crawling it is so cute to see, he has 6 teeth and still isn't eating to much, I got him weighed on Monday just gone and with his clothes and MCN on he weighed in at 9.02kgs, my little tubba guts.
I had my 30th birthday on the 13th, what a disaster, but I won't go there, ok off to do some catching up, oh and I'm also going to the parents, babies and childrens expo tomorrow and will be getting some more MCN's, woohoooo.
Didi - I believe you are going to have the most wonderful time at your reunion in Canada.
Leigh - It was really lovely of the lady, I however am still in shock that it actually happened, and quite embarrassed too. I did get to the Dr's too, it was a miuch better day to walk down as well. I too have to start getting abit more serious about losing some excess KG's.
HJ - Definately went to the Dr's, now have to go back again next week. A few little things he wants to check up on again. The most important thing to me is that no-one was hurt. Someone was definately watching over the kids and I thats for sure.
Amanda- Welcome back hun and Happy 30th. I found time has just flown past since my 30th. Now I am ever so fast approaching my 40th. Isnt Julian doing well, wow 9.02kgs. Good boy....
Well the Dr was a bit surprised about what happened especially since I had only just seen him the day it happened. Anyway looked over the discharge papers and has told me the I have a underactive thyroid which now he wants to look further into. He wants to see if it is just because of what happened or if I actually have a problem there now. Not sure when he is going to have me see my specialist yet either maybe after he does further BT's. He was a bit concerned that I still have the nausea hanging around and gave me some medication to take, but it is nowhere near like it was on Monday. He also told me that with how I described everythign going darker that it is something quite common, and that it isnt like a normal blackout which just knocks you out straight away, where the one I had took abit longer to knock me out. I cant remember what he called it. He also said dont be worried about getting back into the car and driving, I guess tho I wont have any choice come Monday and the kids go back to school.
I have had so many messages from some of the parents at school, all concerned about me, so making me abit more nervous about showing my face there. I keep expecting as I drive along " Ohhh look Watch out there's that lady that passed out in her car and taken away by ambulance" Soooo embarrassed and not looking forward to it. I still cant get over that one story I have heard about going around is " Ohh she died " I guess it will give me a bit of a chuckle when I hear more stories.
Anyway now little V seems to be getting a croaky voice, I have to wonder when all the sicknesses will come to an end as it just feels like it never ends, IYKWIM I think I am getting quite exhausted getting up to sick kids.

It's been awhile, have been really busy with work and juggling that with Olive is definatly full on. Olive is going great. We are pretty over teething here as well, she has 7 teeth now and the eye teeth have been particularly hellish! She is still pretty happy through the day though. She is also saying mum, dad, bub and nan and other babble. The crawling is super fast and she pulls herself up to get into everything she's not supposed to. 8mths is such a cute age. I have been getting a little tired of all the waking in the night and questioning my gentle parent approach but at the same time can't bear to listen to Olive crying for long. I hope she gets into a better routine soon.
We got a new car on Friday which is exciting. A suberu forester and it's lovely to have a nice family car.
I have recovered from my op now but am off to the immunoligist on wednesday to see why I keep getting infections all the time.
Didi - congrats on thw weight loss, you are an inspiration.
csab - sorry to hear about your accident, hope you are feeling better.
Leigh - i love my terry flats and...... surprisingly........ so does DH!!!!!! thats a shock isnt it! hahaha

OM - 7 teeth!!!! oh my golly golly gosh!!!! i agree with u that they are at a cute age! Miss B is such a cheeky bugga! she isnt walking yet, but walks along the couch and tables etc and if ur holding her hand, but not by herself, she is working on it tho - she stands sometimes without holding on to anything, so i dare say she isnt far off it!
I need advice - Miss B uses a dummy, but not all the time, its only for sleep and if she is really upset! But we are getting up to her a couple of times a night to pop the dummy back in - should we look at getting rid of it? or will she get over this anytime soon? its exhausting!
She also crawls around in her cot, while i think she is still sleeping, so we have to go lie her back down and tuck her in!
Im looking forward to the night she sleeps thru!!!!

Jack is walking along holding onto the couch or anything he can grab!!!!
Jack has a dummy when he is grizzly/bedtime. He settles with his dummy, most of the time he is able to shove it back in his mouth himself... BUt when he is in bed half the time he spits it out and just sleeps.. He is sleeping 12.5hrs a night and 99% of that is without a dummy. He too will crawl/walk around his cot (even in his sleeping bag!!) but eventually after a little grizzle/cry puts himself back to sleep. Jack doesn't get tucked in every night...most nights though he is tucked in but lately i am not bothered he gets untucked anyways and i know he is nice and warm (pjs/sleeping bag/heater)
OM - Thanks hun, Woohoo on Olives teeth, V has 4 now, 3 of which came thru last week.
HJ - Dont worry hun, I had to laugh as well. Didnt hear any other rumours today. I felt all the stares tho, sooo embarrassing. I felt quite nervous driving today, yet got thru it. In a way I think the thought of going to school was worse. Had a few of the mothers race up to the car to chat too. As for the dummy, V wont take the dummy at all, and never has. Didnt like it from day one. To tell the truth none of mine took the dummy and only 2 out of the 5 sucked their thumb. If you are comfortable with Miss B not having the dummy and she isnt that fussed then just get rid of it. Maybe just gradually give her the dummy less often until she nolonger needs or wants it. Hope you get some rest soon. Woohoo on little B walking around the furniture, V hasnt even got on her knees yet.
Well V is coming down with the flu, so another week with at least someone sick in the household. hugs all.

Miss B will shove dummy back in her mouth during the day if she has it but not of a night time!
And once she is up and crawling around in her cot its easier if we just lay her back down other wise it takes her ages to settle herself back to sleep - and the whinging drives me nuts!

i really wished B wouldnt of taken the dummy - i never wanted her to have one - but we were still in hospy and she just wouldnt settle and one of the nurses said i think she is going to be a dummy baby - so DH rushed to the chemist brought one and we had silence, apart from me crying cause i didnt want to give her one!
i think we will try cutting it out totally during the day than work on the night time one! meanwhile i guess its going to be another few mths of interrupted sleep!
Awww poor V - i hope she dosent get the flu too bad!
hj in 1 week Jorda is loosing her dummy.. she can put it back in herself.. but she is not a baby (newborn) as such anymore and before she can tell me she wants it and needs it etc I am getting rid of it.. will only take three nights of drama then she will be fine.. I wil make sure she has a blankie or something to get used to!
No pain no gain!! So worth it before they go bonkers when they loose it!
