Wow guys it seems not long ago we were all sending in the birth announcements and now our bubs are nearly 1. I like the idea of having the christening on the 1st birthday. We still haven't done Meara or Kaylee (very slack I know).

I know about the peeing thing lol. Kaylee likes to stand up and pee and Meara will do it where ever and then sit and play in it grrrrr lol but they are so cute that I can't stay mad for long.

HJ - hope work goes ok for you and that you don't miss B too much

Fluff - lol my boys did the same thing when they were babies too and loved doing it to dad. It's so funny to watch : )

Well I have the dates now for the egg donation. Possible egg pick up date is Mearas' birthday 26/10. I'm taking that as a good sign.

Meara has more top teeth coming down now but still only the 2 bottom ones. It looks so funny when she smiles and laughs and she is walking more and more confidently around the furniture so it won't be long before she lets go and just does it.

It's very late now so going to bed. Hope everyone is well, Take care

    Hi everyone,

Go Mia!!! How was she during the night Hollye?

hj - Good luck with work today, i'm sure you will be fine. Just keep busy and try to enjoy yourself. It's really hard I know but at least you have your DH to look after B, it will be great for their relationship.

Olive has just worked out how to climb onto the lounge and our bed, cheeky bugger. There is no stopping her now. She is also climbing out of her high chair so will have to invest in a new one with a more secure harness.
One positive about our babies turning one is being able to try some new foods such as whole egg, honey and nuts. I love making interesting food for Olive. Today I made her some goats cheese pizza on wholemeal pita bread with zucchini and mushrooms as well as roast pumpkin, zucchini and chickpea rice and some sweet potato chips. I've also found some yummy organic chicken sausages as she loves to feed herself so most foods are finger foods.
Not sure how many teeth Olive has now, 9-10 I think. She won't let me near her mouth to look inside, miss independent.

Kim - It occured to me after reading your post that I hardly ever give Olive nappy-free time. Do you do this every day with Meara? Do you take her outside or just let her wee on the floor? Anyone else as slack as me with this one?

    Hi to everyone else

CW - I am slack giving Lara nappy free time too. She hardly ever gets it.

Yay Mia on your first toothy peg. Lara has 6 and her 7th is about to break through.

HJ - Hope you had a good day at work today. Did you cry? It does get easier!!!

Well we had another snake in our house again last night. In our laundry. I spotted it luckily but it got away from us. It snuck into a hole in the brick wall where some pipes go. We called a snake handler to see if he could help us get it out. No such luck. He said it was a venomous one too. We even tried breaking the bricks to make a bigger hole so he could get it but they were too hard. He suggested putting the hose in the hole but the pipe was full of electrical cables so that wasnt an option either. The only option we had was to seal the hole up so now I have a freaking snake living in my wall somewhere. I am terrified of snakes and I hope it dies. One of my friends said imagine the smell if it dies, I said I hope it does smell, that way I know it is dead. I am so scared it is going to get out some how. I don't want any of us getting bitten.

    Hello to everyone else.

Yay for Mia Holl - arn't u glad ur not breastfeeding now! hahahaha

CW - we give Miss B nappy free time every day - she loves it - we are lucky we have wooden floors tho for the occassional "accident" but she has also gone and hidden in her room and pee'd on the carpet - but im starting to notice the signs of when she needs to pee when her nappy is off so i quickly rush her to the potty - yes potty already!!!!
but usually she is fine and waits until her nappy is back on anyway!
Also by the sounds of it Olive eats better than i do! hahaha

Leigh - i got a bit teary about 1.5hrs in - cant remember what set that off but overall had a pretty good day - i only rung home twice and sms'd DH 3 times so i think that is pretty good for a 10hr shift!!!
I can't believe u have had snakes in ur house - that is really scary!

Has anyone tried thier bubs on tuna yet?
Is all bubs still on either breastmilk or formula?

HJ - You did well to only ring and text that many times. I haven't tried Lara on tuna yet and she is still on formula.

Oh no gotta go. DH is playing the wii and Lara is standing up holding onto the coffee table next to him, I could smell something sweet and said has Lara gotten into anything? DH looks over and she has knocked his whole can of Mother over typical guy too busy playing the wii to notice. I remember the exact same thing happened when DD1 was around Lara's age except it was a can of coke and the ps2. Do men ever learn???

    Hollye - for Mia!!!

hj - Olive is still on goats milk formula and has been having tuna for months and salmon too. She's not overly keen though and you need to be careful as the tinned stuff is quite high in salt so I would recommend washing it.

Leigh - OMG I don't cope well with snakes so am glad I don't live at your place!!!
