Leigh - So glad you had a great time away with DH, when DH and I go away I feel guilty for leaving the kids, but you do need time together alone sometimes. I hope Lara has a wonderful B'day party on Saturday, V had hers last weekend.
HJ - Poor little B, sending her loads of get well vibes so her party can go ahead. I still cant get over some people how they dont seem to care if they or their kids infect someone else, even little ones. My DD2 has been coughing throughout the night, so OI asked her if anyone was sick at school and one of her friends is. I am so annoyed, with swine flu around etc, people still sending their kids to school to infect others, so now I have to try and make sure V doesnt get sick, the last thing I want is for her to go back into hossy. What is is B picked up? How was the trip to the hossy? I hope she got to come home. hugs

she is a little pocket rocket by the sounds of things! Miss B unfortunally has caught hand, foot and mouth - it is so not pleasent! for the 1st time in a week she has drunk 100mls of her bottle last night!!! wooohooo that was very exciting! However for some reason last night she woke up and had a vomit than went straight back to sleep?! was a bit weird for her. Her rash is getting slightly better but still not good! i now call her Princess Spot!

Happy 1st birthday to my baby girl! she has opened all her presents and is trashing the lounge with them atm. Will update more later, i have sooo much to do.
HJ - Ohhh poor little B, did you say thanks to the mother for bringing it around to share with bubba B. Some people just dont think. Hopefully hun, she will be heaps better come Saturday.
ATM, V is sitting in her exersaucer watching play school, and she is in a daze, has not taken her eyes of it. hehehe. Its sooo cute. Just sent a pic to you HJ of V, she fell asleep. hehehe. Going to go put her to bed now. poor thing
HJ - Poor B, she is having a rough time at the moment. Fingers x'd for a speedy recovery!! We're having Lara's combined Christening/1st Birthday party on Sat 31st Oct. RSVP is by this Saturday so once I know the final numbers I can start organising food etc. I am lucky coz we are having the actual party in the function room where DH works so no cleaning up for me ha ha. They are doing platters of food etc for us so I just need to let them know how many we need. We are having 2 cakes, one Birthday cake and a Christening cake. I've got to go buy a few things to decorate the room.
whoa watta day!!! im knackered!! and it wasnt even her party! god knows how ill be on saturday. Lots of baking etc to do tomorrow.. busy busy! ill try and upload some pics on facebook when i get a chance. thanks for all the bday wishes
Olive had her 1yr old check up at the clinic today and she hasn't put on any weight in 3mths:S
Here are her stats
Weight - 10.7kgs
Length - 77.5cms
HC - 47.5cms
Basically Olive is in the 97th percentile for HC and Length and was for weight up until now. She has well and truely plateued. The nurse wasn't to worried though as she is a happy and healthy bub and dh is tall and skinny just like Olive. I do have to have her weighed in a month though and if she hasn't put on more weight by then it may be of some concern.
Other then that Olive is eating heaps and still ahving approx. 3 bottles per day.
Sleep is an issue but until I have 3 weeks off at xmas I can't really do much as I need to have the energy for a few days and nights of a not so happy bub. I have gotton a little tougher though and hopefully I can last that long.
Would love to know how your bubs went with their 1yr check-ups.
I'm booking Olive in for her immunisations in a couple of weeks, anyone else had there bubs yet?
