I bought DD up on S26 Gold and DS went onto it when he stopped breast feeding!!! Best of luck hun!!!!!! Yes your uterus still shrinks but not as fast!!! I never had any problems and I expressed with DD for 8weeks!!!!

Sorry to hear you've got night monkeys!!!! I've been lucky for the last 2 nights Hayden has slept for 6 hours then feed and gone back to sleep for another 4!!! I'm thinking that he'll change his routine tho so lapping it up while it happens!!!
HJ - your uterus will still shrink no matter what u do. Atm Mia is on Karicare GOLD but im thinking of going back to s26 as thats what she was on in the hospital and it seemed to sit better with her tummy.. im not sure tho.
Snoop - dont go into the november thread, stay in here. U only missed out by a couple of days, it wont make much difference and it seems your bubs always gonna be the oldest anyway so just stay in here with us ok! u boy is gorgeous btw hugs xoxoxo
well Mia just had another check up. She has put on 120grams in 5 days. So she is now at 3700 grams. The weight gain isnt as good as it was when she was on more formula but atleast its a gain right?! so shes now classed as being 8lb 2oz.

I was reading your posts about breast feeding and how hard you are finding it. My baby came out of me sucking straight away, the midwife was shocked. She ripped by nipples to shreds. What I found worked so that I could still breast feed was a nipple shield. So I was still able to breast feed my little girl and it didn't hurt. I would seriously consider giving that a try because expressing all the time just takes up too much time. I know, I tried.
Hi girls - hope you are getting lots of rest. I just had first midwife visit after being discharged from hospital. Logan has put on 200gm since we left hospital (100g per day) that is huge!! She told me that 30-40g is the average. He seems to be permanently attached to my boobs! He is now 4.140kg.
hey kylie! great work with Logans weight gain!! thats fantastic. dont worry Mia has put on 150grams in one day once.. i was also shocked. She got weighed on wwednesday and she was up to 3.7 kg (her birthweight was 3.52) so i was quite impressed... she went down to 3.1 kgs in hospital
Her next weigh is next tuesday, dont know if she will put any weight on as everytime she seems to feed atm she throws up i dont know if thats normal or not?!?!?!
Great night with her lastnight and WAS off to a good day but shes had me runnin today. Oh well.. measuring out the good with the bad.
